I am very disappointed with my choice of Belize. They advertised a ‘deluxe’ room, but it wasn’t properly clean: stained bedframes and pillowcases, holes in the curtains, greasy walls in the kitchen, and a filthy stove that didn’t even work. The extractor fan also didn’t function and had its button stuck inside. The place was definitely not deluxe, just average, and it was overpriced for what it was.

Our apartment was very spacious. Balcony had a nice view and you could sit there all day long.
It‘s a bit noisy at night though because of all the ambulance cars driving by and we couldn‘t use the AC at all because there was a really strong smell when turning it on, so had to keep the doors open at night.

The apartment offers a lot of amenities: washer & dryer, oven, dishwasher in the room; gym, outdoor pool and you can just sit on the rooftop with a great view.

After-hour check-in was easy and we had a nice stay. Will be back whenever we‘re returning to Brisbane.

We were on the 18th floor which had a great view. Apparent was very clean and nice set up. Location was great and close to Tivili and woolworths all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. And the lady on the front desk was lovely.

Long weekend getaway

Great apartments, well located to the north of Fortitude Valley which was a quick walk. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The only thing that ruined the stay was the construction across the road. We arrived late Friday night and only heard it on Monday morning but it was quite loud. So if you’re staying during the week it’s the only drawback. Otherwise I would stay here again!

Very spacious apartment, particularly liked the full kitchen and washing machine and drier. Very comfy bed, and good powerful shower. There is building work taking place adjacent to the hotel (which the hotel did note on the website) which started at about 6.30am. This wasn’t an issue for me, but could be if you wanted a lie in!

The communication for the property receptions was bit disappointed. I booked hotel 2 nights, but the room key need to refresh everyday, which they mentioned on arrival, but never mentioned what was the working hours about the refresh. I left hotel early in the morning, when return to hotel around 6pm they said need to charge extra for after hour active the key. which very surprised me. I've mentioned my timing on the day of arrival to them, but they never say any extra charge at that point. However at the end they waved the extra charge. but I won't not book this property anymore.

Checked in at 5.30pm on a Friday, with max capacity you would expect reception to be open. Overly complicated system of calling, getting buzzed in, opening a lock box for key and then needing to check in properly the next day. Our whole apartment smelt like damp/ water damage. The very nice Manager tried to help by providing a free breakfast - our meals took too long so we left without one of our meals. Lovely rooftop views. Shower leaked water onto floor big time, and our 2 bedroom apartment not only smelly but windows faced out to a wall and had a dark/ depressing feel on the 4th floor. We booked months in advance - it wasn’t a last minute thing.

Week stay in Brisbane

We stayed here for a week. The room was nice and spacious, walk-in wardrobe was handy however would've been good if there were a couple drawers in there as you couldn't put much in the bedside drawers. Full size fridge/freezer was great and kitchen had all the amenities needed including oven. It was good having a bar/restaurant downstairs which we did use and even better when it was happy hour.

Have stayed with Belise twice, each for about a week and both times had a great experience. Everything is generally cleaned (showers could do with a deeper scrub), everything is well maintained and the staff are lovely. Had some issues with our rooms aircon not working. The out of hours call crew were hit and miss - one was quite rude and hung up, offering no real options except 'turn the fan on' but the other was good. Staff moved us to a new room the next morning after maintenance checked it all out and confirmed it wasn't working. Never had any issues getting a parking space and everything else is 5 stars!

I am the same costumer that have been visiting Belise Apartments several times. My previous visits were without car and when the reception was closed. However, a particular and unpleasant situation happened in my last visit when I was trying to park my last visit. Cuz the administration gave me advice by mobile to park wherever I felt comfortable. Unfortunately, because I couldn’t understand well the directions to park my car. There were many car park available, I parked in a private park without nothing it . The next day when I did my check in at the reception I received a map to park. Sadly, when I went to pick up my car to check it. Was literally full of black and dirty tape and advice paper everywhere like I was a intruder. I was shocked and I asked at receptionist by the don’t even apologise because of that . That was really shocking. Instead to vandalises my car they should have called to move my car to a different spot. I am very disappointed because the previous services were amazing . However it looks like they don’t care about the frequent costumer. Furthermore, the bonus deposit is hold for so long . Even though I already had a previous bonus hold by Belise Apartments they are still holding the rest from my previous visit. The previous one is already three weeks. Really annoying cuz . Months ago I had the same situation. I had to call to ask why it takes so long to be returned. My last experience was disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay. The communication was clear and easy to follow. Free on-site parking was great, as there is not a lot of parking in the vicinity. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. It is in walking distance of numerous bus routes. We relied on public transport for most of our stay.

Thank you so much for the accomodation ♥️✨service. I am very satisfied with the stay at BELISE departments . The place was more beautiful and tidy than I was expecting . I enjoyed every single second. Furthermore ,the gorgeous view was what I was looking for . I have peace and view every where . The only thing I maybe was concerned about was that I didn’t get a thermal blanket as a normally find in other stays. I don’t know if I have to ask for it because I don’t really like sleeping with the aircon on or heater. But in general the department was the most beautiful ever.

The apartment's floors in the main area and bathroom were disgustingly dirty - grimy and faintly greasy. The carpet in the bedroom was stained. Bed was comfy, the area pretty central to Bowen Hills - but won't be staying there again. A very disappointing stay relative to what I was expecting.

Overall our stay was quite good. Room adquate for a 3 day stay but situated immediately above the pool which was used frequently. This made sitting on our balcony a noisy affair. Also one of the light globes was broken and i asked for a replacement. None was provided. I asked again the next day but no replacement was ever provided. All they had to do was give me a globe!!

It was excellent. Being a residential apartment is good as most rooms are extremely quiet. The parking is ok, but very limited spaces allocated to hotel guests. Limited guest parks on site, but very close street parking that is un-metered over the weekend. The parking garage, and attached entry are obnoxiously alarmed, to the point of startling every time! Overall, excellent.

Loved the accommodation…clean and spacious. Several poorly managed incidents led to inconvenience. First, we had after hours arrival and instructions were left for key pickup, but key wasn’t there. Then we were charged extra by mistake and we needed to make phone calls to fix it. Then our key card was not activated for the next day and we couldn’t get in or park our car. On the day of checkout, the key card was handed in, but reception didn’t mention that it was required to get to the car park to leave😫

Comfortable and clean overall, but not great. Loved the balcony with nice city view. Car parking was unavailable for most nights and we had to use meter parking on the street. The electric stovetop was terrible as the power was too weak and took forever to cook something. The blinds in the windows were too small for the windows to block out sunlights. The shower door was leaking water badly and there was no way to avoid as the door was poorly fitted with large gaps. Air con did not flow into the bedroom when bedroom door was shut.

Great experience at Belise

Great hotel! Convenient location - close to Fortitude Valley. You can expect clean rooms, comfy beds, spacey kitchen and living room, nice pool (heated! - for winter) with a city lookout, relaxing spa and sauna as well as a decent gym. The elevator takes you up to the rooftop and WOW the view is amazing with a couple of BBQs and leisure.

One issue that may arise is that there is a chance that you may not be able to find a car park in their garage as parking is not guaranteed - which I think other hotels have an advantage over this.

Overall it was a comfortable stay at Belise Apartment. Would definitely recommend families or friends looking to hit the clubs.

The instructions for parking, check out, bond money was very clear the lady at the front desk was very helpful. She was excellent at her job.

The room was very clean, heaps of space and great view.

Only negative was one of the lifts were out. So it made leaving and coming back a little frustrating. But we understand it was shut for safety etc.

Emily and all the staff are wonderful. Anyone who whines about this place frankly has issues. ;) The property is spotless, the staff are a credit to the company, the morning buffet is basic but perfectly sufficient. The breakfast vouchures can be used as cash if you prefer to upgrade to their delicious a-la-carte offerings. Position central to fabulous restaurants and china town, a quick dash to the city and train also if desired. We stayed an extra 2 nights AND were given week night rates for weekend nights, the same deal was offered again even though it's a weekend and the rates have changed significantly. Top shelf. A+ on ALL accounts.
