Really loved this place. Great communication with us before arrival. It was great to sit on the terrace and enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Lovely breezes through the home. A couple of notes, there is one flight of stairs to the apartment and the only AC is in the twin/king bedroom. This was fine for us as the ceiling fans were great. We also loved the convenience of having laundry in the unit. Would definitely stay again!

It was perfect! Exceeded my expectations and matched picture description. Apartment was clean, very spacious. There was a washer and dryer in bathroom which worked good. The bed and couch were comfy and we had a beautiful view from balcony which overlooked the Brisbane river.
Only negative thing I would say is sofa covers need a bit of a wash as they are a little dirty but it’s a white coloured sofa so it’s kinda expected but it was not really an issue because we actually slept on the couch one of the nights and lounged around on it during the day.
Will definitely be back next time coming to Brisbane if available at the time 😁

Beautiful, relaxing view of the water and lush green canopy. Large lounge, dining and kitchen area. 2nd bedroom snug. Only sheets on bed. One doona with no coverlet on the clothes hanger storage in main room. No doona for double bed room, only a blanket in the cupboard. For older people, having some form of shelf to hold the bath soap would be beneficial because people who are unsteady have difficulty bending down to the floor to get the soap/liquid. Really appreciated the stove top coffee pot. Purchased good quality coffee grinds at the adjoining cafe. Excellent communication from management before and after the stay. Very noisy location, both from water and road. Convenient to river walks/ferry, dining and cafes.

Close to everything, seriously well situated for all sorts of Brisbane activity. A beautiful & safe area right on the river. Would have been nice to have been accommodated on the water as all the pictures display this. The road got busy early which means noise if staying in block C. To be fair we still had a water view from the large balcony & kitchen. Kitchen was also large, clean & fully appointed. Would stay again.

Lovely updated unit. View wasn't quite what we'd hoped as it looked like we were straight on the river but when you get inside you realise that it's behind another building and it's an angled view. Also a bit noisy for sleeping as the bedroom is street side. But wonderful location and reception staff were lovely and eager to help with future bookings.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and were upgraded to the 3 bedroom double storey apartment which was great. However the 2nd bedroom only had a ceiling fan, no aircon so it was quite hot in there. Decor in the 3 bedroom apartment was outdated and not to our taste, we thought we would be getting the lovely scandi decorated apartment which we were told is 'apartment 49' and needs to specifically be requested. The downstairs toilet walls were entirely covered in weird wallpaper that looked like magazine clippings of a detective trying to piece together a crime... really really odd, did not like that at all, please keep bathroom walls white!!
Otherwise, the upstairs bathrooms were lovely and renovated, kitchen was fully equipped and of course the river views were stunning. Really great location, a cute cafe next door, free parking, close to gasworks and not too far from the valley and the CBD.

Excellent apartment and location! Two minor inconveniences - shower only worked from handheld head (diverter mechanism was broken) and there was a dead gecko that was squished on the roller blind. These things aside, it was the best accommodation I have stayed in for a long time. Communication was clear from staff for check-in. Having access to the pool was great. A dedicated, secure parking spot provided free of charge is awesome.

What an awesome place to stay. Right on the river with a City Cat ferry terminal 200m down the river walk from the apartment. There's also 6 great bistro bars / restaurants/ cafés right across the road. Definitely spoiled for choice of dinning out options.

Location the only good thing.
We had high hopes for this apartment. The location was great, the apartment was well past its used by date. The bathroom was filthy (we bought a bottle of bleach to get rid of some of the mould so we could shower). The blinds had mould, the doona cover hadn’t been changed and had fresh stains. The view was great. The pool was unheated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Certainly not a relaxing experience. I’m not sure how the other apartment are?

Some refurbishments taking place. The particular block had no lift. So a number of stairs however felt secure.

This accommodation is a rare find in the area, and I cannot recommend it enough for location and facilities if an easy, relaxing break is on your radar. Tenerife ferry terminal is within 50m of the complex for great access to the city and other locations. Great cafes, restaurants and bars nearby, as well as massage and beauty services - if that’s your interest - but without all the noise of Fortitude Valley or the City.
The complex was very quiet, and everything was clean and tidy. All apartments have riverside furnished balconies overlooking the river, unobstructed. The pool is perfect for both 25m lap swimming (lanes marked), or for a cooling dip and lay in the sun on the loungers provided. The pool is located right by the edge of the river - fantastic spot! There is a gym linked with the pool that the complex was in a formal relationship with for use by guests; however, this was recently taken over by Club Lime and use is now for members only, or casual rates ($20 per visit, I believe).
Limited free parking spots were available at the complex.
While my review is overwhelmingly positive in relation to this accomm we were inconvenienced on our check-in by being allocated an apartment that we discovered had not been serviced after the previous guests had departed. This resulted in us being allocated a different apartment for one night, then having to move to our allocated apartment the next day. The on-site manager was polite and apologetic for the oversight.

It was roomy and had well equiped kitchen - except apparently no microwave containers and no paper towels. Good linen and pillow supplied. Nice views and close to ferry, riverwalk and restraunts. A rabbits warren to negotiate walkway exit and entry. I was told by wotif to checkin from 2pm to 6 pm but when I arrived at 2 it was all closed up. I had to ring and only when I said wotif booke me in did person agree to come in. He kept saying... Its mothers day and claimed he hadnt been notified of my booking so ultimately I didnt get to the room till after 4 as he was over half an hour away and in that time I felt like I had to wait in case he turned up. He was pleasant once he did arrive.

Great place to stay close to river ,ferry service and many places to eat within walking distance only problem was we called to say we were arriving after hours which was fine told us were to get keys but they never sent msg to get key and after a stressful phone call and being told they didnt have our name on the list it was found manager was there to let us in and it was under only part of surname and didnt have phone number to send msg maybe these should have been checked when i called to let them know we would be late

The kitchen lounge area was comfortable with great views from the balcony however the bathroom was a little outdated but okay. Our biggest disappointment was the bed it was only a double and should have been a queen. The manager insisted it was a queen but I do sleep in a queen size at home so I think I know the difference. It is a great location but the bed was to small and as it was my 60th birthday and a special occasion it put a small damper on our stay. The Rivercat terminal is a 2min walk and there are plenty of places nearby to eat.

Have stayed at these apartments a few times, always book a riverside one. Location is quiet, fantastic views across the river & always something to watch when you sit on the front balcony. The Teneriffe ferry terminal is 5 minutes leisurely walk, or less, and ferries are a great way to get many Brisbane highlights if you have time. The building is a little older, but my apartment this time had been refurbished. The kitchen was well enough equipped & the aircon was an absolute essential as I arrived in 40 degree heat. There's a great pool & guests have access to a public fitness centre next door. The manager was extremely helpful and attentive. My only complaint is that there's NO WIFI!!!! In this day & age that's almost unbelievable. It might be a bit tricky because probably most of the apartments are individually owned, but they really need to work this out. Free parking is a huge bonus. There are heaps of cafes, restaurants and a supermarket a short distance away.

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit wSas lovely but the downside side was the tenants next door smoking on the balcony and the smoke drifting over to us. We found the proximity to transport both on the ferries and buses was great. Fabulous pool and gym. We would stay again.

Our stay at these apartments was very disappointing. Marketed as luxury accommodation but far from it. The apartment we were allocated had only a portable aircon unit which only slightly cooled the room from the Brisbane summer heat and was so noisy on high setting we couldn’t have aircon on and watch television at the same time. Very dodgy DIY repairs to the place as well. Next morning asked to be moved and receptionist was very helpful in allocating us a different apartment. There was also a discrepancy in the charge, but raised that with the staff and a refund was organised. Overall, convenient location, apartments are ok, but don’t quite live up to the marketing hype.

Lovely position, great views and decent size
This was a great place to stay when in Brisbane. It is in such a lovely village style location with pleanty of choice right on the doorstep of bars, restaurants, cafes and more. The room was huge and had everything you would need. It would be worth a bit of a refresh but that would be my only comment.

The man which welcomed us at reception was extremely friendly and very helpful. They even managed to clean our room early allowing for an early check in which was fantastic after a midnight flight.

Second time we’ve stayed - toilet was leaking, blinds were broken and the carpet was heavily stained. First time we stayed here it was amazing and the room we had this time was much smaller and not renovated despite paying the same price.

Walking path alongside the river & opposite 6+ cafes/bars for meals etc. 5 minutes by car to James St arts precinct & 10 minutes to CBD. The rooms are older style, but have all basic necessities. Also has a convenience store on site.

Overall is was a great day. Booked it for my family and myself. The room was better than what we imagined and it was lovely to wake up every morning with the sun rising over the river. The BBQ in the common area wasn't working and the staff member was unable to assist in the matter but it was fine to cook in the room as they had most things that were required to cook your meals.

Our apartment and location - with nearness to CityCat cruises and city access was very pleasing. So many more positives. The only negative was lack of parking space before being able to access the guests carpark. We would stay here again.

I really like Goldsborough Place and stay here whenever I'm in Brisbane. It's close to the CBD (short bus trip, taxi, or you can walk in in about 40 mins along the river) and has a great views over the river but also has bars and restaurants near by.

It was nice to see that we were given a three bedroom when I had booked a two bedroom. However the third room balcony door did not close. My daughter wanted to sleep in this room but couldn't as it was too cold with the door constantly open. Little things such at toilet roll holder, air vent over stove were broken and unable to use. Low watt light globes made it really hard to see inside. Lovely location and great views just a shame about the other things. Unit needs an update and overhaul and it would be a really lovely place to stay.
