The room was cleaner than most of airbnbs I stayed, however the bathroom was smelling a bit. It needs a deep clean. The staff was lovely and very welcoming, mainly Claudia. She was amazing! The breakfast was included on my stay and it was good. They had a selection of cheese, coffee, tea, bread, etc. There are loads of shops in the area, including restaurants. It’s also close to a main road where there are loads of restaurants (around 7min walking). The room I stayed wasn’t super modern/newly refurbished, but it was good enough. For a 3 stars hotel, it’s a good hotel.

plenty of bakeries and a couple of shops nearby, 3 metro stops within a 10 minute walk which is great, only issue was the picture shows a view of the eiffel tower (which we weren’t really expecting from our room) but you literally couldn’t see it from anywhere near the hotel and out of our window all you could see was the subway sandwich shop opposite. It didn’t bother us much as we just wanted somewhere to sleep and it was ideal for this! the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. have and would recommend to stay here

I have never stayed in a hotel where you have to return your key to reception when you go outside of the hotel, even if it’s just for a short while. I did not feel comfortable with this.

Great location, staff, room (we each had a room for one person that was one size up from the smallest, so a double room (the bed looks to be the same size as the single room, but the room size is bigger), amenities (especially the Nuxe Reve de Miel bath gel), and breakfast, at a very reasonable price. I have ready booked three more stays!

Our room was very clean, the staff were friendly and lovely to speak to, especially Claudia. We had the room on the bottom floor because of my mom’s mobility issues and at first I wasn’t thrilled as it was on street level however it was very quiet at night so it was great and convenient. Breakfast was also great! Also very good location only 20 minute la or so walk to the Eiffel Tower.

We didn’t get the balcony room we initially booked but other than that, the room was good. It was pretty basic but we still had a little view of the Eiffel Tower. This was probably the smallest hotel. We stayed in on our two week journey in Europe. The room was very small for three people, better sized for two people. The balcony and the view of the Eiffel Tower though made it doable. Also the night staff man, I can’t remember his name, was absolutely hilarious and he made our stay even better!

this property is not how described in the pictures we were traveling with three people we were on the top floor. It said we would have a balcony there was no balcony and actually the bathroom was large, but it was so dated. The facility was clean and they had a nice breakfast but we were charged for the breakfast. I wasn’t happy that we didn’t have a balcony as described in the picture and the fact it almost looked like we were in servant quarters. The beds were great and housekeeping did a good job of cleaning up every day.

We booked a room with a view of the Eifel Tower. It was worth it. The view was terrific. The staff are caring and thoughtful. Nicole and the 2 gentleman's that worked at reception were exceptional. They helped us with transportation and my dietary needs for breakfast (gluten and dairy intolerant) The breakfast was delicious, including specialty coffees. I would have given it 5 stars but I found navigating the staircase to the elevator with luggages difficult.

Hotel dated. You have to climb multiple narrow stairs just to get to the elevators . Room way too small. Bathroom shower smaller than our last cruise ship shower. Laundromat across the street was a plus but otherwise the location wasn't that great either. Would never stay here again. Much better options around for the price.

Two Night Visit
The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location, the staff were wonderful, and it was very clean. However, it is difficult if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage. The elevator landing is halfway between the floors so you have to walk either up or down a set of stairs to get to your room. This can be difficult if you have a heavy suitcase. The staff were excellent as there was street constriction outside our window from 10 pm to 3 am. The night clerk offered a room at the back of the hotel away from the street. We moved and were able to get a good night’s sleep. Thank you for doing this.

I would not recommend this hotel. One major concern is their outdated key policy—guests are required to leave their room key at the front desk every time they leave, with no system in place to track who enters or exits the room. While the receptionist was friendly and helpful during check-in, my experience quickly became unsettling.
After dropping off my luggage and turning on the AC, I left to purchase Eiffel Tower tickets. When I returned around 10:30–11:00 PM, I found the AC had been turned off, suggesting someone had entered my room while I was out—without any notice or explanation.
The next morning, as I was preparing to check out and store my luggage, I discovered that my passport was missing. I’m certain it was with my belongings when I left the room. Unfortunately, despite searching thoroughly later, it was never recovered.
This experience raised serious concerns about security and privacy. I urge future travelers to consider these issues before booking.

El hotel en general es pequeño, pero para nosotros fue perfecto ya que solo lo utilizábamos para dormir, también es super céntrico podíamos ir a la torre Eiffel y alrededores caminando, tienen la opción de desayuno bastante sencillo y rico, lo necesario para que comiences el día.
Lo único que no me gustó fue que mientras estábamos en el cuarto la persona de limpieza abrió la puerta, fue bastante incomodo ya que me encontraba terminando de acomodar mi ropa, agradecería nada más que tuvieran cuidado con eso, porque no es agradable que alguien ajeno entre mientras uno esta. Como sugerencia tal vez pudieran poner algún letrero de molestar, para que nadie entre cuando no se requerido.

The Eiffel Tower view really made this experience great. It’s a little boutique hotel so it’s not the modern fancy hotel kind of stay. The room and bathroom were roomy for a European hotel room in my opinion which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very kind to us. Staying at Splendid hotel was just okay. There was no AC and the room and bathroom were very small which is expected for a France hotel. There was an elevator but you were required to climb steps to the first floor in order to access the elevator. We had to return our room key each day as it was an actual door key, this meant they entered our room each day so we had to lock up our stuff in our luggage. There was breakfast that we had added on to our stay which was nice to have something quick before we would head out. Also very close to the train station. Not sure we would stay here again although it was in a good location.

I would like to start off my saying that this is a HOSTEL NOT A HOTEL. DONT let the pictures fool you, the rooms are TINY. You would only fit comfortably with no luggage and only one person per room. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom. The shower is not big enough for the average adult. It is literally the size of an MRI machine. If you are claustrophobic this is not the place for you. The AC did not work and we were sweating all night and could not sleep comfortably. THERE IS ALSO NO HOUSE KEEPING. They have a sign in the bathroom that they “do not change towels everyday to converse water so if you need clean towels ask the front desk or put your towel on the shower floor” ??????. They also keep the linen in a dingy closet ( no wonder our sheets smelt bad). You also need to give your key to the man at the front deck every time you leave the hotel. The man at the front desk gave us a bad attitude when we were confused as to the process (he did not mention this when we checked in) and said “these are the house rules that you must follow, if i was at your house i would follow the rules.” This hotel is not accessible for those who cannot lift luggage or walk up and down stairs. We had to walk up a flight of stairs with our heavy luggage just to get to the elevator ( elevator only fits two people). If you are on an odd number floor the elevator will not drop you off on your floor. You will have to take the elevator to the floor above and walk down a flight of stairs.

We booked a very lovely room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Our room was clean and has a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent and their coffee machine was always in working order and plenty of options such as espresso, cafe au lait or hot chocolate if you want something hot to drink right away. The location was convenient to the Metro and shopping local small businesses. My husband and I felt very safe when we stayed here. Word of caution though: our room had wood floors and you can definitely hear what your neighbors in the next room are doing. The staff were friendly and always greet you with a smile and a \"Bon jour/ soir.\" I would definitely recommend and would be returning in the future.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Splendid Hotel, and I was given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower which was very special. Very friendly staff; always helpful. Close to transport, etc. I didn't take the breakfast option, but it all looked nice. The only slight things were that the lift stops in-between the floors, so you still have to take your suitcase up a few stairs to your floor. I thought it was great value for money and would definitely stay here again.
