Excellent hotel!! My husband and I loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. It’s so close to a lot of restaurants, cafes, the beach is right behind it a 30 second walk and there’s many markets. It’s also very walkable to the boardwalk. We only took a taxi or uber once or twice. The rooms could use a makeover but still clean and air conditioned. The pool is also awesome. There’s 3 of them!

It's an older hotel, so it's not perfect, but it was clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The maid service was great. It was a very nice hotel, and the location isn' cannot be beat on the beach

We booked multiple rooms just to see what the experience was between the standard and the premium rooms. If you are gonna stay at this resort, don’t get the standard rooms. There’s a huge difference in size and quality. Pay title but extra for the premium if you are planning to stay here. Parking is not provided in a complete hassle that alone made me wish I had never booked this place. We had to park a few blocks away and walked to the hotel.

A lovely stay in the heart of the Romantic District. The staff were exceedingly nice, the room was charming and the \"resort\" is located right on the beach. The pools are ok but are better for young residents. The restaurant on-site (all inclusive) was convenient and offered tasty selections. We will definately return.

The location is the best part of this hotel. The pools and outside spaces, restaurant and beach areas are very well maintained and better than most in PV. The rooms themselves are very very small, rundown and old, that would be my only complaint. The staff is amazing and friendly. Tons of security and cleaning staff! I will stay there again.

The location is idea. However, they advertised breakfast was included when I arrived, I found out it was not. They do not allow you to have any visitors to your room which is very odd and childish. I do not recommend their buffet it's the same food every day and is not the best. There are better cheaper places to eat right across the street. They offer open bar but their alcohol is cheap not recommended.

The room we were given upon check in was terrible. Tiny and moldy! Nothing like the photos on your website. We asked to be moved and we offered to pay more but they couldn't move us until the next day. So we moved the next day and the new room was worse. Same thing when we asked to be moved. After paying $400 more and moving rooms 3x we got a room that was bigger and more updated but still not the photos on your website. Staff was all over the hotel but I'm not sure what they were doing. The pools are tiny and no service for food and drinks. The only good thing about this resort was the location if you want to walk to check out different places to eat. We paid way too much money for this hotel.

Great stay at Playa Los Arcos. The hotel is in a great location in town and right off the beach. The pool had shade in the afternoon which was nice to be out of the sun if desired. Staff were very helpful - set up chairs and umbrellas on beach, drink service, and checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall the rooms were as expected and clean.

Room was dirty and when I complained, I was meet with “it’s fine, it’s not a big deal” I requested a room change and they were not willing to do until I requested to speak with manager. I was moved to a ti y room that was dirtier, but ac worked better. Staff was not friendly, or helpful. A few servers were the only pleasant experience. This was my first time in Puerto Vallarta and I will NEVER go back. I have lots of better options to take a vacation.

La persona que nos explicó del estacionamiento fue algo grosera y deberían aclarar que solo hay espacio en su estacionamiento para 4 carros para todo el hotel.

do not stay here if you are sensitive to mold AT ALL - our room had mold spores on the vents from the A/C and on the walls and smelled very moldy- also the room was not the same as in the pictures they showed online -no windows in the entire room were able to open to try to get some fresh air - we asked for a different room and they said they were sold out - everything felt damp the entire time in the room room and all of our clothing in our luggage smelled like mold when we left the hotel and we left after two nights because we had a hard time breathing - we won’t stay here again

ive been coming here for many many years and you cant beat the location and price. We love the small size of the resort and it has everything you need. The last 3 times we came we had to switch rooms due to mildew smell and visible mold in some rooms on the walls and ceiling. This past trip we tried to get switch due to the mildew smell and had to wait til the next day. it was almost impossible to sleep. If you get lucky with a more updated room without the mildew smell its great. if not it can ruin your whole trip!

The location is fantastic, super walkable with tons of great locations in Zona Romantica to visit nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated sure but my bed was comfortable and thats all that matters to me. My biggest takeaway is that if you want beachfront in the heart of Zona Romantica, the pricepoint of Playa Los Arcos can't be beat. Thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay.

The resort was nice, although in need of updating. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The grounds needed updating and new furniture. The dining area had beautiful views. The dining area and pool area had a definite bird problem. Every day you had to watch that you didn’t sit on fresh droppings, and everything we had down there got pooped on. I’m not sure exactly how they would deal with that situation though.

Best thing about this place is the location. It is in the middle of a bunch of shops and restaurants and right next to the beach. Place feels very safe. staff is friendly but sometimes slow at the lobby. Worst thing is the food the food has very little flavor. And they don't offer room service.

We have been traveling to this location this specific resort for many years and have enjoyed it for many many years however, this year felt different. The staff was not as friendly. The cleanliness was not as clean as it normally is it was just a different feel overall I hope it was a one off because this is a really great resort.

This was our third time staying at Los Arcos. The location is PRIME, the food is good, & the staff is very accommodating. The pools were not as crowded this time of year as we were in between Spring breaks. Our room was always cleaned, though we did have to ask for towels a few times. The location is right smack dab in the Romantic Zone and the perfect tacos are but a few steps away. We love this place & always find new friends hanging out at the pool! And as crazy as it seems, they are either from my hometown of Bakersfield or my new home of Boise!!! It definitely is a small world!!

The whole hotel was top notch except EXCEPT the musty smell in our room. And the sewer smell in our room..we figured it out. Wasn't from the bathroom..nor outside. It was the AC vents. Very gross. So we left the balcony door open partways day and night and survived. I give it a 3.instead of a 1 because the whole resort is beautiful. Food is amazing. It's right on the beach. And the room.itself looks great and beds very comfortable but that smell!!!!!

Lovely property, as you swim in the different pools which accommodate children in some areas and adults in the deeper pools with an ocean breeze because of the direct opening out to the sand and beach. There aren’t very many lounge chairs, but they are comfortable and there are water lounge chairs that are partially immersed in the pools. The water temperature is warm compared to another resort where we stayed for the first part of the week. The drinks were good. The hotel provided to water bottles a day which was appreciated. The only problem we encountered was the rocks and grout in the shower were gravely end a little painful on our heels and feet as we showered. We sat down a hand towel so that we had something to step on. They do not offer a washcloths, but I like to travel with my own.
