Friendly staff and nice relaxed hotel.

Nice clean room, lovely front desk service, good food in a restaurant if you didn’t wanna go out, good fresh buffet breakfast, good Internet speed with the free Internet, air conditioning was quiet and set on low kept the room a nice temperature.. All in all a great stay. How do you think I would say is that the shower needs improvement. Not from a cleanliness point of view, more from a showerhead point of view, adequate but could be better..

What the doctor ordered

Let them drink tap water

...Unfortunately it is hotel policy to leave no water in the room or anything in the mini-bar..thus if you arrive at the hottest part of the day, in a heatwave..you are expected to leave the sanctuary of the room that you have just achieved to go back down stairs to the cafe to purchase water [at nearly 3 euros] in order to take your heart medication...not amused at all. Will report to the tourist authorities as this is a health and safety issue. Otherwise the hotel is as characterless as you might expect and a long haul from the centre of the city. There is Mercadona very near..so purchase anything you might need before you go...and a very nice cake shop..otherwise you may as well be in the desert.

Comfortable room and average breakfast, ok but nothing special. We had to call the reception 6 times in less than 2 days to open our safe. It clearly had a problem and the reception staff were very unhelpful. Although an engineer came each time the man on reception was quite rude and treated us as if it was our fault. I’m sure the next guests in room 204 are having the same problem. Parking was difficult and the general area is very noisy and run down.

Arrived at the hotel around 10Pm after the address listed was taken us about 1/2 miles away. The included parking (on elevator) was not functioning and I ended up blocking two other cars that were trying to park. I parked on the street and I went to check in. The girl at the desk spent 20 minuets to check in the people in front of us an another 23 minuets for us.... I asked were I can get a bottle of water and she sent me on the street to find a store.... The bar in the hotel closes at 11.45 and no vending machines are available. The AC in the room was broken but at that time all I wanted was to sleep.

More like a 3 star Hotel

We were looking forward to sitting out on the roof terrace but the doors were locked and there was no way of getting out there, which was disappointing. Its just a basic hotel really, there is not much in the area and its a long walk to the centre. Staff were friendly and cleaners worked hard.

They need someone that cares.

We decided for my partners birthday to come to the city and stay for a couple of nights.The booking was quite simple and easy.They even asked if there were any extra details. i passed on the we were coming to celebrate my partners birthday and even gave them his name. When we arrived the receptionist was abrupt and sharp. I understand a language barrier but at least smile and try to look welcoming. We made our way upstairs without a happy birthday or a welcome from the lady at the desk. Upstairs we found a tiered looking room. Basic and plain but a little tiered, worn and dirty around the edges. Not wanting to cause a fuss we settled in. There was 1 shower robe for two people. with a lovely note saying if you are enjoying wearing this you can purchase it to take home, an old, torn, stained dressing gown with threads hanging off it, How lovely. The towels were not much better either. The lady forgot to mention the pool, the breakfast details,the roof terrace. All be it a few broken plastic sun loungers on the roof.In the room there were details about room service. After calling a few times I made my way down as no one was answering only to be told they only serve food between 8pm and 11pm. We ordered take away pizza to the room instead. The new lady at reception did order this for me once i explained that is what the leaflet said to do.We checked out 2 days later, with out even a question for the staff about how was our stay? All they need is staff that care.

Communication Limitations

The reception on arrival was good - the female staff spoke acceptable English: male staff were severely limited with English and not able to understand or clarify.
Room Service staff and meals were completely satisfactory; served hot and quickly.
Laundry was NOT delivered on the same day as advertised AND the trousers were pressed completely against the existing creases, making them unwearable - and this situation could not be corrected for some reason which was not explained because of the staff's language limitations.
I was told that the laundry would not be charged because of the errors; however when I checked out the laundry WAS on the invoice - and clarification of the situation to the on duty, male reception staff, was almost impossible.
I suggest simple language courses, in either German or English, which are very available in Southern Spain, become a part of your employment criterion.

Hotel stay whilst holidaying in Almeria

I could not fault the hotel on the quality of its rooms and staff. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. My only not of caution would be to read the small print re availability of food and drink, as there is only vending available between breakfast and 8pm and the restaurant has a limited menu. Apart from that, I would certainly recommend the hotel for its proximity to bus services to town and beach.

This is the 4th time in 5 years that friends and I stayed at the Tryp Indalo and we have had no problems at all. The rooms are spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly.

Good hotel in a poor location

The hotel was very modern, the room was large, well equipped and very clean. The location was about a 20 minute bus ride from the main shopping centre and the fare was only €1.05. Parking on minor roads near the hotel was very easy.
We were not very impressed with the local area. There were many youths on the streets in the evening with apparently nothing better to do than spit at local traffic as it drove by.

Not a very nice experience

We stayed for one night. We had a room with twin beds, they were like visitors beds, main light shade was not working, TV very old, to top it up I asked if I could get coffee as room service at 6:15 next morning when we were due to leave, I was told that breakfast bar doesn't open till 7, so does room service. since we had to leave the hotel by 7 to catch our flight, we couldn't get any coffee, so it wasn't very accommodating. There was a Coffee machine in the lobby, which I used the day before and twice got coffee with sugar even though I pressed the 0 sugar, lost 2 euros because I can't take sugar with coffee. So overall not a very nice experience.

Good value hotel for couples and business people

Excellent value for money (as always) but location possibly not too good for families wanting a beach holiday. Good buffet breakfast, but quality of breakfast cereals very poor this time, although this has never been the case on previous occasions. We have mentioned this on the hotel's own questionnaire requesting feedback, but everything else on the buffet was fine. Car parking not a problem as there is some spare land across from the hotel and it's also relatively easy to park in the surrounding streets. The only downside is the 40 minute walk to the promenade.

This hotel was all you would expect and maybe more for the price. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast Buffet included with our deal and it was not at all bad. One slight moan was that the underground parking was , I thought ,expensive at 11 euros a night, and creepy going down in the car in the lift...I wouldn't do that again, loads of cars parked outside overnight with seemingly no problem. The underground car park was quite empty.

Good city hotel in Almeria

Have stayed here several times before, and standard is always consistent. Staff friendly, although not all speak much English. Primarily a business/conference hotel, and possibly not the most family friendly, although the suites have been converted into family rooms. Buffet breakfast good value at 12 euros, and even better if you have a MAS card, which entitles the second person occupying the room to have a free breakfast. If there is a downside to this hotel, it is the location as it is a 40 minute walk to the promenade. All in all, a very good value for money hotel.

Great hotel, great service, good quality rooms with all the attributes one would expect, including aircon.

Food was excellend, if inconsistant - we ordered the same dish on two nights and it was completely different the second time.

Apart from that, location is pretty good for the beach, and just a 5 euro taxi ride into the city for shopping and culture. The actual street, however, has little in the way of nice restaurants and bars. That said, it's a short walk to the Meditteraneo shopping mall. Overall, we'd be happy to return.

Would definitely recommend!

Staff was fantastic! I was very sick and the staff helped my partner get to a chemist and get medication late at night. He even wrote a note in Spanish for him to give to the chemist. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was a nice breakfast in the morning. We were very impressed with both the staff and hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Me han engañado no es lo que es un 4 estrellas

Hize una reserva con media pensión y cuando llegue no había buffet de media pensión me ofrecen menú
Recepción manda un correo a dirección y dirección contesta que como no he utilizado la media pensión solo alojamiento y desayuno que modificará la reserva que me devolvían el dinero
Todavía estoy buscando como puedo hacerlo porque no me deja modificarla
Pido por favor que no engañen más a la gente , eso es como la piscina que dice en la azotea y al aire libre
La piscina se encuentra en la primera planta ,no da el sol y caberan como mucho 6 personas
No creo que sea un 4 estrellas y si lo fuera no tengo ni idea como puede tener un 4 estrellas yo creo que era un 3 y por la reforma le han dado uno mas

Creo que se debería de respetar más el descanso de los huéspedes por parte del personal de limpieza del hotel. A las 9:00 de la mañana estaban dando voces y golpes haciendo las otras habitaciones. Hablando entre ellas y por teléfono como si estuviesen en la calle. Me ha sorprendido la verdad, nunca me había sucedido.

lamentamoa no pueder valorar la calidad del hotel, ni su servicio, dado que la climatologia en la zona de Valencia nos ha impedido llegar al alojamiento.
Nos sabe mal no poder hacerlo debido a las circunstancias concurrentes. En cualquier caso, nos pareció prioritario anteponer las acciones de rescate y limpieza del area metropolitana de Valencia.

Liegt an einer lauten Hauptverkehrsstraße. Parkplätze am Haus kaum vorhanden. Tiefgarage kostet 5€ pro Nacht und muss mit dem Aufzug angefahren werden. Große Autos haben ihre Probleme.
Personal spricht kaum bis gar nicht Englisch. Zum Meer ca. 45 min per Fuß

El hotel y el personal genial, pero para ser un cuatro estrellas el bufet se queda muy corto. Teníamos media pensión y la cena solo nos servían 4 variedades de comida (salchichas, macarrones, pescado y patatas con huevo) que para ser bufet libre escaseaba. El desayuno si estaba bien y lo típico que puedes conseguir. Pero el hotel super chulo y elegante. La piscina también muy pequeña, cabíamos a penas 6 personas y no teníamos libre una tumbona para sentarnos. Es pequeña y la foto miente un poco, de hecho ni te llega a cubrir más del cuello la piscina.

Lo bueno y lo menos bueno.

En general bien. Cama grande y cómoda. Se aparca bien x los alrededores del hotel. Llevábamos pensión completa, la comida de menú con très opciones de calidad y cantidad media, patatas congeladas de guarnición, tilapia, tortilla al gusto, croquetas de paquete, para comer y punto, el desayuno buffet justito. La piscina pequeña para el volumen de habitaciones y 15 tumbonas. Un Mercadona al lado, la playa del sapillo a media hora andando pero hay autobuses urbanos x 1'05€.
