A beautiful resort!! We stayed in the TPs which I wouldn’t stay in again. The beds weren’t super comfortable and the AC struggled so it was pretty hot. It was an adventure though and we’re glad we tried it. I think next time I’d stay in one of the cabins instead as the property itself was absolutely wonderful! Also very close to Plitvice national park and the Barac caves.

Clean, tidy and pricey

The small lakeside cabin was spotlessly clean and looked new. It was relatively small and orientated to look at the road rather than the ‘lake’(pond). If it had been 2/3 the price, it would have been fine. It has no self catering equipment apart from a kettle so breakfast must be purchased at the on site restaurant €14 per head. It’s also a 15 minute drive from the park entrance.

We stayed in a hotel room on the property. The room itself was very basic, and the door was a bit strange. The door would only close if it was locked with the key upon entrance. However, the hotel had a nice pool, helpful amenities (ex: laundry room, market, & restaurant), and was in close range of Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Visit plitvice lake

Good tree house the kids they liked the atmosphere and new experience. The resort is well looked after shopping market and restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet was just good need to be improved with more options. Near to plitvice lake less than 15 minutes which was our main reason to book here we spent 4 hours on route B walking and using the boat nice walking and water falls.
Pool walking area play ground mini golf .. etc good activities for the kids.

The property is beautiful. We stayed in a Lake House on the lake which was lovely. The room was incredibly clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on our last day and enjoyed it. The resort has many amenities including miniature golf, table tennis, ,a workout area, pool, hammocks, and volleyball. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to take advantage of them all, but I bet they are excellent in good weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend Plitvice Holiday Resort.

It was a beautiful lake lodge we stayed in a quiet forest. We enjoyed the quiet morning with hot tea at our balcony even though it was very cold outside. Recommended to stay min 2 nights to enjoy the area and we loved our 3 nights stay.

We rather checked-in late but staff recognize us (we were the last one) and gave us some good advice. The nearby parking slots were all taken but we could park the car nearby camping site.

The hot water amount is limited so you should consider others if you are not alone in the lodge! Amenities were limited so if you are picky, you should bring yours.

The air-con was nice design but we were not used to its functions, it did not warm the room enough. But the staff came to check when I ring and it was very helpful.

For the price, the property is good. Check in was prompt and informative. Rooms were clean and well appointed but the bathrooms are definitely on the small side. Dinner and breakfast were good.

In restaurant I made mistake left a very expensive iPad case on a chair whilst I went to move tables due to smokers and could not carry everything it went missing in less than 30 seconds asked staff and not interested

Nice place to relax

The location of the resort is very good. Super market is very close as well as some restaurants. The mobile house is too small. The kitchen is fully equipped but the only thing that is missing is an oven. I would recommend staying at the lake house since the view is much better.
Some of the staffs at the checkin weren't friendly and rude.
Over all I give the place 6/10

This was the PERFECT place for our stay with 2 kids, 10 and 6 yrs old, with a visit to the Plitivce Lakes park. Everything was perfect ... we stayed in a treehouse for 2 nights - a joy! So cute! The restaurant was great, fantastic breakfast, the grounds were wonderful. Just 100% jackpot with this choice. The people so nice, cleanliness a 10, not a bad thing to say.

Two night stay visiting Plitvice Lakes

We stayed for two nights while visiting Plitvice Lakes.
The resort was about a 15 minute drive from the lakes.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the park is really lovely, but unfortunately it rained for the two days we were there.
Our room in a nice lodge was very comfy with a large bathroom and good shower.
We had breakfast both mornings which was really good with plenty of choice, and ate our evening meal also in the on site restaurant which again was good.
Just wish there were coffee/tea making facilities in the room
Would like to stay again in one of the tree houses, they looked fun.

Tree house!
This lodging is amazing! Well built, modern tree house with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, killer views onto trees and forrest area. The best sensation is, that the tree house sways from time to time. We loved our stay!!! Good layout and combinations of tree houses, lake houses, bungalows and camping at Plitvice Holiday Resort. Staff is friendly and competent.

We stayed in one of the Lake House cottages which was great. They're obviously very new and the place was clean with cool design. You can see right into your neighbours cottages though, so close the blinds at night or when changing! You can swim in the lake, they clean it every day! The treehouses look awesome as well.

The property as a whole has definitely been recently renovated which means that some parts are incredible and others require a fair bit of work. The restaurant is not great at all and even though smoking indoors is quite common in Croatia - it felt as though there were decades of smoke permeating the air even at 8am during breakfast.

Restaurant aside - our hosts were awesome at check-in and the property is beautifully re-done. We'd definitely stay here again!

The mobile homes are very cozy and are more like cabins than a mobile home. The area is very nice with a great restaurant right next door. Breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. Also, one of the shower doors in our cabin did not close all the way so water tended to get all over the bathroom floor. The laundry facility was really great and the people were very helpful. Very close to the Plitvice national park too. Overall a very nice stat for 2 nights.

We stayed in one of the mobile homes and we were very happy with it. Everything looked modern and clean. The main reason we stayed here was because it had a self-serve laundry. It turned out to be one washer and dryer that were very small. I was lucky no one else was using them or it would have delayed our morning. Other than that, the restaurant next door was good and offered kid-friendly meals. Playgrounds on site were great, and the pool looked nice.

The pool was overrun by kids. It would’ve been nice to have adult pool hours. We stayed on a bungalow right by the pool expecting to be able to use it and for it to be peaceful. It’s a very small pool and there were 15-20 kids in it or running around at any given point.

Hidden gem near Plitvice Lakes

The superior double room is newly renovated and near to the swimming pool. The room is really fantastic. Since the whole site is being renovated to upgrade all facilities, the wifi did not work well. We have to go outside near the restaurant to get connected to wifi. When the work complete, I am sure it will be a perfect choice in Grabovac, around 15 minutes drive to Plitvice Lakes.

Damp and rude but a good location.

We booked to stay in a tipi. We wouldn't recommend. They were mouldy and damp and very musty. Given I suffer from severe asthma, I couldn't sleep in then and asked to be moved. They moved us to a double room which had a squashed bug on the wall in the bathroom and no hot water. When we came to check out, they wanted us to pay £40 for the upgrade and breakfast that we didn't have. The campsite would be fine if you brought your own tent or camper van but I wouldn't recommend their accommodation. Even the new-looking lodges around the pool were right next to a very noisy pool bar with loud music late into the night. It's very close to the lakes so a good location but if you haven't got your own roof then would go elsewhere.

Friendly receptionist on arrival, who then informed us that there would be no power between 8am and 3pm the following day. Given that it was cold and very rainy, and we were planning a relaxing day before doing the lakes the day after, this was not ideal. The cabin was tired and dark, and the forecast was for rain all day, so it would mean a day without lights (couldn't read books), cold (no heating), no wi-fi (couldn't do anything that a person living in the 21st century would want to do if they couldn't do outdoorsy stuff) and no means to charge our gadgets if we used them. But the fact that there was no apology or proactive offer of compensation from this venue was highly frustrating. We pushed for recompense (as apparently did lots of others), and in the end we had one evening meal paid for (not the drinks...). With the prospect of a drab day coming up, both in and out of the room, we cancelled and stayed elsewhere. It might be fine for camping, but I really do not recommend this place if you are after a room. Stay in Rastoke instead.

Ok for one night.

It wasn't what I was expecting for a 4 star hotel, it was more of a campground with cabins that had no airconditioning and no fridge. A double is 2 singles pushed together with a bed frame inbetween. Bathroom was clean and semi modern. Room had a very stale smell to it. Having said all this, it was close the lakes and the breakfast and resaurant were both nice. If you're not spending much time here, it's a place to rest.

We booked the Triple B&B (Bungalow) for three persons. Customer service is good.
Breakfast provided is the best throughout our trip in Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia. Friendly waitor - we had a good chat on Plitvice Lake.
Heating in toilet is a plus point for cold winter nights.
Cons - we saw three spiders (luckily not big) crawling on the wall next to the sofa bed and had to wipe them out by myself before the person sleeping on the sofa bed notice it haha (this is the sole reason I rated 3/5 for cleanliness) ...

This hotel is very clean and comfortable, but the best thing about it was the helpful staff. The ATM machine outside the restaurant ate our card and the staff were quick to make a phone call and arrange for us to retrieve the card. Great location as well. Definitely recommend this hotel.

camping in Croatia

This is a nice/clean camp ground which has some (what they call) mobile homes on a pool. They are actually very nice. Two bedrooms with showers and a small kitchenette area.

A bed broke when I sat on it, however, which was not so good and the Internet was horrible.

There is a nice shopette on the grounds and a restaurant which is good but does cater to bus tours which will fill it up quickly.

We stayed in the wooden rooms. Well appointed and clean rooms. Very quiet and serene campsite with fantastic restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Price and quality of dinner was really good! Central heating did not switch on on the first night, with temperatures down to 10, however on the second night, it rained and the heating came on.

The place is more of a campground. With cabins and a large building with double rooms. The cabins are lovely and modern, but the building with the single rooms is outdated and does not have ac. The walls were also Very thin so you could hear everything going on around you. The restaurant located below is excellent though. Overall had an average stay.

Rooms were conveniently located, free parking great, TV didn't work, & be careful of the electricity (fried my iPhone charger which is rated for 220V). Service was fantastic, breakfast n dinner included was perfect. Would recommend, but don't expect fancy. It's more like an upgrade from camping.

Room had a renovated bathroom. We did not enjoy our stay - sheets had holes in them, doona needed to be bleached and bugs were stuck to ceiling. Wifi was virtually non existent.

Good family camping spot

We were only here for one night to visit Plitvic. It seemed like a great family camping spot. Unfortunately it was a little bit awkward if you are just there for one night as the buses to Plitvic are only at 9:30 in the morning and then come back at 3pm. We were also pretty disappointed with the dinner at the restaurant but breakfast was pretty good! Staff were helpful though and gave us an adapter to use when we realised we'd brought the wrong one.

Great location for lakes, nice grounds (No A/C)

Conveniently located 10 minute drive from entrance to lake. Several cabin options including tent camping. Decent pool but overcrowded and lots of kids (we were here in July so it's high season). The grounds are nice and they have a good restaurant and onsite mini-market.
The issue we had is no Air Conditioning, and no ventilation through the rooms. They also don't have fans which was very surprising (tip to Turist Grabovac - invest in ceiling or floor fans and your ratings will go up significantly even without A/C.)

OK Place To Spend One Night

Most of the hotels around Plitvice are just a place to crash before you tour the park. Turist Grabovac has a campground, pool, a few cabins and one block of rooms where we stayed. Total rustic cabin motif inside. The only real drawback was no air conditioning - I would NOT go back there in summertime. There was also noise until well past midnight from other guests returning to their rooms. Staff were very nice but this did not meet our goals for a cool, quiet place to spend the night.

I stayed here one night on my way to Plitvice Lakes. I should have stayed two nights, but that's more a review for visiting the lakes. There is a restaurant that is very nice with good waitstaff onsite. The rooms are correct for the price, nothing fancy. It is about 20 minutes drive to the lake entrance. The bathrooms are a bit small, but otherwise the room is fine. The television only has Austrian and Italian channels (if you care about watching TV). The beds were okay, but not the most comfortable.

Suprisingly Cozy and Comfortable

When we first arrived at this location I was very skeptical. The hotel room is actually a small two bedroom mini house (mobile home) located inside a campground. They are brand new and very modern. Plus the rooms are sitting right by the brand new in-ground pool. The whole area is done very nice and made for an excellent view as we sat outside on the patio. The room was clean and equipped with a small kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, fridge, stove!) Plus it was a two minute walk to a small grocery store and a restaurant. I loved our stay and would go back again in a heart beat!!!

Grand location!

We spent three nights at the Turist Grabovac at the end of a wonderful bike tour on the neighboring islands. The best thing about this apartment is its location. Lots of good restaurants nearby and close to the Palace. The apartment is sparsely decorated and could use a couple lamps! But clean, relatively quiet, and comfortable. Joann, the owner, was very helpful.

We ordered 2 baby beds for two rooms.When we arrived to hotel at night they said we dont have 2 beds . They bring only 1 baby's bed to first .room .Shower cabin was very very small and Bathroom was not confortible.

Heather was not worked. Rooms was too cold. during all night.Ther was mosqito in the rooms.

A short but sweet experience

The highlight was dinner in the restaurant. The food was good, but the advice was even better! Nic, perhaps the hotel GM or owner, gave us advice that we have been following since and appreciate every day. A perfect place to stay near plitvice!

We stayed in one of the rooms and had a great experience. We ate every meal at the restaurant next door, the staff was incredibly helpful, and we took the bus to the lakes. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer!

Ideal location for National park. Room was clean but smelt a bit of stale tabbaco. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Would stay again.

This is not a hotel- a campground w/rooms to rent

Calling this a hotel is a stretch. This a campground that has rooms to rent on campground premises. If visiting the lakes in Croatia there are so many nice bed a breakfasts in the area that looked great. Having not been to area before I was relying on the pictures and reviews on trip advisor and hotels.com. The rooms had no AC, no screens on the windows. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything going on in other rooms. It had exposed light bulbs in light fixtures with no covers. Staff was rude. Food for breakfast terrible.

2 nite stay

Stayed at Turist Grabovac for 2 nights with our friends. Cabins were quite roomy and clean. weak wifi in rooms but good at hotel/dining room. Resort was easy to find, about 15 miles from Plitvice Lakes on main road - so great place to lay your head after a big day walking the lakes. Service at both reception and hotel were wonderful.

Hotel is located in a good location, quite near Plitvice National Park. Room is generally clean and services by the staff is excellent. Probably need to change the pillow in the room to new ones as the one is used is too thin. Wifi is free, though if your room is far from the router, the signal might be weak. Otherwise, I recommend you to consider this place.

Grabovac is a great place to stay for anyone visiting the Plitvice National Park. Though it's not close to the lakes so it's much easier with a car. The staff is extremely helpful with any questions. The laundry on site was also a pleasant surprise after getting muddy at the lake.

A bed in the wood

We wanted to be close to Plitvice Lake , rooms are very small and camp like setting, restaurant was ok, they are building a pool so lots of digging equipment around property, we were there on the week-end so it was quiet but it was farther to the Lake then we had anticipated, best to stay at hotels in Plitvice Lake itself you have easier access to the park and much more convenient.

Good location for Plitvice lakes

It was close to the high way. The office staff was efficient, helpful and very friendly. The rooms do not have a fridge, but you can rent one. Breakfast was fine and restaurant food was good. The beds could be softer after a days walking in the magnificent Plitvice lakes!

Ok for the price.

Window almost falling off hinges, but otherwise comfy. Ground work being carried on outside window ie excavation, so less privacy when we were there. However, this is a camping ground, so exceeded expectation.

Good accommodation easy access to Plitvic

Staff were friendly and helphul. Wifi was questionable, though that seems to be typical of the area. The room could have been improved with darker curtains on the window to keep out the morning light. Overall a good place to stay.

Everything you need

Hotel has an onsite mini market for things you need or forget to bring. Restaurant was great and has a little playground which was great for us since we had our 2 year old with us. Only about a 10 minute drive to Plitvice Lakes! Great location! Room was cozy and included everything we needed! Would definitely stay there again.
