Gem of a place by Plitvice Lakes
A very welcoming and friendly family run property . They offered optional daily dinner and breakfast. Which we opted for . the dinners were among the best we have had in Croatia. . The portions were huge. Each portion had soup, salad, grilled fish or meat with veggies platter plus a dessert. We shared one between us the second night after a very active day paddling. The dinners were local home cooked food and delicious and very much felt like having a meal cooked lovingly by a relative or friend . They were so accommodating serving us later because our kayak trip ended later . The breakfast was also large and amazing eggs, fresh fruit, cheese meats and incredible hot donuts don’t know what they call them . They gave you a bag so you could take whatever you didn’t eat as a packed lunch. So thoughtful. The location seems very out of the way driving in at night but was actually very close walking distance to the entrance of the park so no need to worry about parking. And their property is lovely rolling hills and farm and beautifully landscaped with flowers everywhere.

Very pretty. Spotless clean and in new condition. Quiet. Being right near the lesser known third park entrance is an advantage. The family that owns, built and run this place are super nice. They fed us well and a lot, too.

The dinner and breakfast was delicious and in huge portions! We really appreciated the bags at breakfast time to take some food with us for our day hikes. we come to this hotel for the 2nd year in a row and we are sure that this is not the last time. Once again the hotel met all our expectations. I can't find the right words to describe the beauty of this place. Very close to the park entrance. breakfasts and dinners are still great. And if you can't eat everything they give you for breakfast, then they provide you with special packages so that you can take sandwiches with you while walking in the park. Cleanliness is perfect everywhere. I can't imagine a better place than this to visit the Plitvice Lakes.

The staff was so friendly and told us how to get to Plitvice park (very short drive or ~1 mile walk) recommended hiking routes for our two day stay when we checked in. The place is beautiful with roses and flowers and so well kept. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were phenomenal and the extra touch of providing food for lunch and to go bag for our oark visit was so thoughtful. We highly recommend staying here for your Plitvice park visit.

It’s a bit of a drive to get to this inn, but it’s conveniently located right by the back (3rd) entrance to Plitvice which was so convenient. We were able to park there and walk in, avoiding all the crowds at the entrance.

Amazing hikes to Plitvice from the Pansion or very nearby. The best hike of my life was to the upper lakes from 3km up the road. The waterfalls were amazing. Food was very good. Host told us in detail where to hike.

A wonderful place to stay. Really convenient for the Lakes and a good starting point as it is not a main entrance, 20 min walk from the Pansions. Evening meal was freshly cooked. Lovely quality food and lots of it.

Excellent base for Plitvice park; lovely hosts
We stayed four nights to visit Plitvice. The premises are very well located 1km from entrance 3, a pleasant walk along the quiet road. There are other walks outside the park itself, which Daniela explains. We didn’t have a car, so we were picked up and dropped off from entrance 1 where we got our bus connections, by prearrangement, which was very convenient. We ate dinner and breakfast and used the lunch bags provided- we were never hungry!
There is no communal lounge so you spend time in your room after dinner; this did not worry us. There are numerous lovely places to sit in the garden with country views (but for us in October that wasn’t a option).

We had the most wonderful stay at this guesthouse. We only stayed one night before our visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park but wish it had been longer. It is perfectly located in walking distance to the national park but the service was a standout. The owner and her daughter were the most helpful and friendliest people you could ever meet. We took up both the dinner and breakfast offer and it was the best food (and most plentiful) we had during our travels around Croatia. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accomodation. It was also in a lovely location on the quiet side of the national park.

We loved Nataša's place nestled in the national park. It was an easy walk to the trailhead in the morning after the (HUGE) breakfast. They also make sure to take care of you in every way - including offering plastic bags and a variety of options to make sandwiches for lunch on the trail. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful and won't steer you wrong with advice on how to navigate the park. The property is vast and we loved watching the little sheepdog herd the sheep in the morning and the evening. Dinner on the property is delicious and they are great about accommodating food allergies (but again, the portions are HUGE so get ready to be full!) The room was spacious and clean and had everything you need. One tip - they only take cash, so be sure to bring some before you enter the park!

Wonderful bed and breakfast in quiet, beautiful location! Daniella was a fantastic host. The food was delicious and abundant- you must plan to enjoy dinner as well as breakfast. Conveniently located for Plitvice Lakes National Park, this place is a 15 minutes walk away. The room was clean and spacious. This is a family run business. The host was lovely and welcoming. I booked transport from/to the bus station from the host which was cheaper than a 2 way taxi. I was taken to the supermarket on collection to get a few things as there is nothing nearby the accommodation unless you drive. The home cooked food was delicious. I had dinner only, although breakfast is also available. All my dietary requirements were catered for. This place only takes cash so come prepared. The host helped with anything I needed. It's a great place to stay. Would recommend.

Charming family owned hotel in the heart of Plitvice region. Park entrance is about a mile away so you can just walk directly from the hotel. There are also several trails around the park which adds additional benefit. Hotel itself is very cozy. Food I the restaurant is family style and it just excellent. They also give you enough food during breakfast to make a lunch pack and avoid using mediocre cafes inside the park itself.

This is a convenient place to stay for the park, fewer tourists, located near the boat pickup. Clean, modern, comfortable. You can buy tickets to the park from the owner. Convenient location near boat that takes you to the other side, near bus stop and entrance to upper lakes. You can hike up and bus down to the lower lakes (or the other way around). Nice breakfast, especially the fresh hot donuts! They let you bag up leftovers for lunch.

The hotel is a ways out on the road and feels like it’s heading to the middle of nowhere. You’ll eventually get there.
Owner’s directions to boat parking were a little unclear. Drive until you hit a T intersection (she calls it a barrier). Parking is available on the side of the road (it’s not a parking lot).

The staff was amazing! This was one of the quaintest hotels we’ve stayed at and a highlight of our trip. Huge meals served family style were very tasty. This place is ran by the owner and her family and it is obvious that they put in a lot of work/love. Easy access to Plitvice park and staff will even get entrance tickets for you if requested.
