Etno Garden exclusive is nestled in a quiet, scenic, wooded area near Plitvica Lake. An entrance to the park and the lake is a short walk away. The facility is first class, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. Every staff member was professional, helpful, and made it clear his/her desire was to provide the best possible service. The food in the kitchen was professionally prepared and delicious. There’s ample onsite parking. Highly recommend Etno Garden Exclusive for a relaxing and memorable experience.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s small, quiet, and tranquil. It’s right next to the national park, so you can easily walk there. The food and drink on-site are nice, and the staff are friendly. If you’re visiting the lakes, I highly recommend staying here!

Etno Garden Exclusive is a perfect location for anyone that is planning a trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The room was spacious and already set up with full bedding for my kids. allowing everyone to feel right at home. The room was very clean and up to date. The area around the property is very peaceful and we spent time reading out in the garden, enjoying the view. The food in the restaurant wasn't the best, but the staff was friendly and kind. I would return if I ever have a trip to Plitvice again.

Really didn’t expect this place to be as nice as it was. We stayed for 2 nights and were in the Veronica build which had recently been renovated. The quality was excellent, with a large modern bathroom, high quality windows, and beautiful hardwood doors. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We did not check out any other activities so can’t comment on that. The dinner area was like a crowded pub by mountain inn and the food was good quality with lots of local fare including two types of rakiya. The only sad spot was the office which is a hodge lodge of pamphlets and items for sale but only the receptionist spends time there. Importantly it is a 5 minute walk to the very quiet and under used Entrance 3 to Plitvice Park. Absolutely can’t go wrong!!

Restaurant on-site. Convenient location.

We chose Etno Garden mainly for its close proximity to one of the entrances (8-10 mins walk). Having a restaurant on-site makes this very convenient. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the property. It's also located at a good spot for arriving and departing from the Plitvice area. The room was ok. We had some mosquitoes in the room and the ac smelled a bit.

This a great places we have stayed at before. We had dinner and breakfast for 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids) 1 night stay for around $400 for everything.

As I told the receptionist when I was leaving, for an exclusive so to speak, and not cheap accommodation, I would expect that the room will be cleaned and the bed will be arranged even if the sheets will not be changed.
The didn’t enter the room in the period we stayed there.
They charged for each day 20 euro for cleaning after the small dog we had but they didn’t clean at all. So why charge for each day ?
Other than that the place was decent and the location good! The staff was very nice

Great location just 10 minute walk to the Park. The room was large and extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and it is very convenient to have a restaurant on the property. After a long day of driving it was great to just stay there and have a nice meal. The park just cant be missed! Stunning!

The hotel is just outside Plitivice national park and you can actually walk 20 minutes from the hotel and see the largest waterfall without entering the park. The food was incredible. Breakfast is included and the restaurant for dinner was incredible. The staff were incredible Dominique, David and Matteus!!!

The accommodation was a bit dark and the ill-fitting curtains barely did their job. In particular, the shower room lighting was dismal.

The hotel was very nice and clean.
The staff was super friendly, I’ve never experienced such a nice staff in a hotel ever. They were very helping and looking after us so much. Made the whole stay amazing.
The top part was the secret entrance to the National Park next to the hotel, super convenient !

We were looking for accommodation near Plitvice Lakes National Park and decided on Etno Garden without knowing anything about the area or the hotel. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly staff who checked us in quickly, showed us an alternate entrance into the park if you have prepaid tickets, helped us to our lovely room and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant had some great dinner options and a very friendly server. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the area.

A lovely location and comfortable accommodation

A lovely, quiet location, close to Plitvice National Park. The staff are very friendly. Food is typical Croatian cuisine. Breakfast is not included in the room price. At 13 euros per person it could maybe be improved.
I would recommend the Etno Garden complex as you can walk to the park entrance. Book tickets in advance as they sell out.

This is a super nice place and very clean and unique. Lovely grounds and outdoor terrace for dining or visiting. Finding the place after dark was a bit tricky but we called and they directed us right to them. Everyone is so friendly.

This is a really special place. VERY easy access to the National park with 5 minute walk, AMAZING home cooked authentic meals and exceptional service. My only complaint was there was no AC which they said they switch to heat as of Sept 1 (The day we arrived just our luck lol). We opened the windows which helped but I missed the AC. Even so I would definitely go back! They also let us park our car there all day while exploring the park. We liked the food the so much we went back for dinner after we had already checked out! A plus service as well.

The location was perfect for visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park . It is located within walking distance from Gate P3, which is the road less traveled to avoid the massive crowds in the park. The property was as described and the employees couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The restaurant matched the property with it's \"home cooking\" and the service was great. I've already recommended it several times!

Hotel location is excellent to explore Plitvic lakes. Near to entry 3 and you can walk from top of mountain to view the entire lakes from above. Hotel breakfast and dinner are good .
Room is spacious and quiet.To go to hotel you need to drive up , call hotel for shuttle bus at entry 1 , shuttle charge is reasonable.
Well worth the stay. Especially thanks to Tim.

Lovely property. Very gracious and knowledgeable staff. Our hostess provided us with better and more accurate information on how to enjoy the national park in comparison to park officials. Hotel provides the service of obtaining park entrance tickets to guest at no extra charge. Parking is free. Restaurant is very convenient and serves authentic delicious food. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this establishment.

The property is located strategically close to P3/St 1, which gives great access to park the car & explore the whole park. It's also very close to the viewing point of the overall lakes/big waterfall from top.
Property itself was very clean & the staff, Tin & Eric, kept it extremely well & very friendly & catered to all the guests. It was indeed a two man show who made sure the guests had a great experience. Would highly recommend this place for anyone to wants exclusive park experience.

A charming alpine style building. Very nice and room and very quiet.
There is a restaurant on the premises. The food was delicious. The staff was very helpful with instructions on the various ways to enjoy the park. There’s no lift so the staff carried all our luggage up to the 3rd floor.
We will definitely recommend this hotel.

Not a big deal, but our info said robes- and there were none. Also, other reviews mentioned wine and sweet treats- but that’s not what we had - we had two bottles of water, two juice, two apples, one banana, two wafers, a glass container of granola for breakfast and milk. Too, it is a challenge to take luggage in and out- 45 steps up the stairs. It was very noisy as you are in the city center, and it was Saturday night. It is a very pretty room, but I think I would rather stay where there is a front desk. The lady who met us to check us in was lovely and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. She restarted the router as the internet was extremely slow- but it didn’t help, though she did try.

Lovely place shame about how it ended

I would highly recommend. But be aware they demand ALL payments including room charge in CASH. You can guess why, but extremely embarrassing to any normal western person that prefers not to have wedges of cash in their pocket on holiday.

Made leaving extremely stressful.

Beware...Plitvice park in mid September is still crowded beyond imagination. The one good thing about this hotel is that it is located near the third gate, which is “within the park”. The bad news is the hotel is extremely difficult to find...poor signage! Also, they only take CASH at checkout....no credit cards. We had to scrape up enough money to pay our bill for 2 nights. Food is strictly mediocre. Our room was fairly clean and spacious.

This hotel was very well located to experience Plitvice Lakes. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and Tin told us of a great walk that allowed us to see the falls and lakes from above. He was incredibly helpful in planning how to best experience this incredible place. The room was well appointed, although the beds were rather hard and not the most comfortable. But everything else was great - the food, the service and the location.

After a long day hiking through Plitvice Lakes, I was looking forward to a hot shower only to find that the water was lukewarm. The same was true the following morning.

The lodge only reluctantly accepts credit cards (which must be called in manually).

perfect Plitvice Lakes hotel

This is the best place to stay for accommodations and location to the secret entrance to Plitvice Lakes. To Station P3 not entrance 3. You can buy tickets right there then take the route above towards entrance 1. You will beat all the lines and see the most magnificent views. Then at the end of the day you take the tram up to P1 and walk down hill on H or K path and get on boat back to P3 for easy exit. Amazing!!!

Best side to stay on

Getting to Plitvice Lakes takes some adventure so if you've already decided to make the trek, don't stay on the populated side of the lake off the main route. Etno Garden is on the opposite site but walking distance to entrance \"3\" which is the side closest to the path to the main waterfall. The hotel is charming and will remind visitors of an Alpine Chalet. We were greeted by Josef who was helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel was hyper quiet (only crickets after 10pm!). Don't bother to go out to a restaurant because the hotel served up an awesome Croatian style BBQ with fresh trout, sausages, pork, salad etc. The best part was eating under the twilight and Josef was also our waiter. Etno Garden made me feel like a kid at summer camp and I loved it!

The hotel is really close to an entrance to the park - much closer than the hotels near entrance 2 - the facilities are really good, the rooms very well furnished in a nice modern but rustic style and the staff were wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough.

This place is awesome! The staff was very friendly and gave us tips for visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, we made it in time for the grilled diner (trout or roasted pig this day) in the beautiful outdoor restaurant. It was so delicious and we really looked forward to dinner the next day after walking through the Park. The room was new, the wifi was great, and the beds were very comfortable. We drove a ways to get here, but it was well worth the trip. I also appreciated the emailed instructions prior to the trip. (The Park was so amazing, it's hard to describe).

Great choice for the park

Great place to stay if you want to go to The national park. The receptionist gave us an excellent tip for when and how to enter, and the order to see things in. This way we avoided the crowds (mostly) and made our trip easier. Great breakfast too.
