Tourist Center Marko provided excellent accommodations and convenient location for a quick visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. From the great advice on the best way to visit the park to the clean, spacious room and on-site dinner, Tourist Center Marko was a great choice. I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation.

This hotel was really cute & nice for our stay while visiting the Plitvice national parks. The front desk was super helpful in checking us in and giving us information about the parks, including the best time to start the day based on the season to avoid crowds. The room was super spacious and nice. It is also close to plenty of restaurants.

Lovely helpful owner, clean and comfortable, good air conditioner, nice big shower with good water pressure, fridge in the room, pool and activity centre for kids, 15 min drive from Plitvice National Park, 7 min drive to supermarket with cash mashing. Property and restaurant takes card payment. All great and convenient for us. The food in the restaurant is super good.

The room was large, modern, clean and the beds very comfortable. There was no kettle for making hot drinks which nowadays would normally be provided and would have made the stay more enjoyable.
Reception lady was very nice, friendly and helpful.
A big issue that impacted on our stay was interruption of power supply which continued throughout the 4 days of our holiday. This meant sitting in the dark, trying to go in the bathroom in the dark, no aircon, no wifi. We could've paid much less and gone camping instead!

My husband and I stayed at the Tourist Center Marko for 3 nights to visit Plitvice Lakes (only 15 mins drive from here). We drove from Zagreb airport and arrived at night so couldn't easily find where reception was, however this was obvious in the day as it is the main building between the restaurant and Villa Dora. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful man who talked us through all the attractions in the area and showed us to our room. Great customer service! The room itself was large, modern and clean. We utilized the badminton court (where we got rackets from reception) and lounged by the pool during our stay here. It is a well kept property with nice views. We didn't try the restaurant but were told it served traditional Croatian grilled foods. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Everyone at Tourist Center Marko was very friendly. It was easy to find and provided easy parking. We enjoyed the pool for like a day. The only issue we had was the placement of outlets in the room. It would have been better if they were on either side of the beds.
Overall, I'd stay there again.

We stopped at Marko for a night between Zagreb and Plitvice National Park and we wished we could stay for a few more nights! There were lots of activities offered by Marko (adrenaline park, swimming pool, massage etc.) and outside of Marko (quad biking, rafting etc.). The hotel itself was in great conditions - clean and spacious! Recommending especially for road trips!

The property has a swimming pool, however no bar o service available there. There is no fridge in the room, no possibility to put the towels to dry.
When booked on Expedia, I entered the number of persons - 4 - and received a type of room and a price. After I made the booking, someone contacted me from the hotel and told me that for 4 persons an extra bed is required and of course an extra fee ... So in the end we payed more than agreed on Expedia.

Great property, great service. Clean rooms, and only a short drive away from Plitvice Lakes National Park. We arrived past the check-in time (11pm) but we were notified about our room and the keys were already in there for us. We had no problems checking-in officially the next day. Friendly and helpful staff, and they give good recommendations regarding hiking routes in the park.

Great getaway place in very pretty town

Great Accommodation, Fantastic Restaurant

About 15 minutes from amazing Plitvice, this hotel offers a large pool and other facilities including a restaurant that offers reasonably priced, delicious food (the spit roasted lamb and wild boar stew were amazing). The room was clean and quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful and advised us where and when to go to Plitvice in order to avoid the huge crowds. Great choice!!

We had a great stay at the Tourist Center Marko. We wanted to stay near Plitvice and this was a good spot. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of rolling hills. The bathroom was very modern. Customer service was great, the people working the check-in area was helpful and friendly. We were able to get free breakfast at a restaurant at the bottom of the hill. The people working there weren't as friendly, but they had a buffet spread that was good enough. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

A bit of a distance from Plitvice Park, clean and newly constructed or renovated building, W-Fi only worked if you used your device by the office (where the router was), breakfast was mediocre. We stayed two nights, but they didn't clean our room - when asked they said they had problems with tourists complaining about people going into their rooms - unbelievable answer. Cash only - no credit cards.

Hotel has no air conditioning and it is located next to very busy road so it is difficult to sleep with the open window. Breakfast is probably the worst I ever had. Location is very good - not far from national park and also close to Slunj (river site place for swimming). It is also probably the only place with swimming pool in the area (just right for children). Restaurant is not bad.

Excellent place to stay and enjoy

I will strongly recommend this location and hotel. The staff was friendly, the restaurant food was very good and prices were just right. The buildings are brand new and very clean. I stayed there from the 12th to the 14 of July. At night we didn't need to turn on the AC, it was so nice and cool. We kept the windows open to appreciate the views and the fresh air. The hotel is very closed to the Lake Plitvice.

Bad coordination between guest registration and kitchen. Enough food at breakfast for 20 people but over 60 guests, including a large tour group. Kitchen staff tried their best to accommodate though. Hotel is converted from a warehouse/commercial building. Far from town center. Pricey considering quality, location and service.

Ich war mit meinem 8-jährigen Sohn für zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und genau wie beschrieben. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Pool – mein Sohn hatte riesigen Spaß und wollte am liebsten gar nicht mehr raus!

Die Lage war ruhig und angenehm, ideal für eine kleine Auszeit. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Rigtig fint hotel til prisen. Så pænt og velholdt og jeg tror ikke der ligger en nullermand forkert i receptionen. Selv fliserne udenfor hoveddøren bliver støvsuget. Personalet er hjælpsomt og altid smilende. Super lækkert poolområde som vi primært havde for os selv de fleste dage.
Restauranten var ok men ikke helt så meget at vælge efter isforhold til vores smag, men der ligger mange fine restauranter i lokalområdet. Man kan fryse frostelementer ned i restauranten så man har kolde drikkevarer det meste af dagen ved poolen da det lille køleskab ikke helt kan følge med.
Vil helt sikkert anbefale dette sted til andre og kommer gerne igen.

Als erstes möchte ich den Check-in hervorheben.
Der nette junge Mann an der Rezeption ist einfach super.
Der Check.in ging flott und er hat uns sofort Tipps für die Plitvica Seen gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und auch modern. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert tadellos und auch das Bad ist schön groß. Die Poolanlage ist relativ groß und auch sehr sauber. Es gibt einen Spielplatz und es sind genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Bis zu den Seen sind es ca. 11 km zu Eingang 1 und 14 km zu Eingang 2. Einziges Manko das Hotel liegt direkt an der Straße. Es ist eigentlich nicht sehr laut, aber wenn LKW´s kommen die höret man doch ein wenig.

Diese Unterkunft ist nur als hervorragend zu bezeichnen. Das Personal ist super nett. Wir wurden zwischendurch immer wieder nach unserer Zufriedenheit befragt. Wir waren zu dritt in einem Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon untergebracht. Die Größe des Zimmers war für 3 Leute vollkommen ausreichend. Alles war sehr sauber und wurde auf Wunsch täglich gereinigt. Frische Handtücher gab es alle 2 Tage, Bettwäsche wurde alle 3 Tage gewechselt. Die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und wird täglich kontrolliert. Ein besonderes Highlight ist natürlich der fantastische Pool. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.
Einziges Manko ist das man Frühstück nicht gleich dazubuchen kann. Dies muss man mit dem Restaurant, welches nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist, klären.
Dies tut der Unterkunft jedoch keinen Abbruch und wir waren mit dem Tourist Center Marko mehr als zufrieden.

Ottima soluzione. Stanza molto ampia e pulita. Buoni i confort necessari fatta eccezione del bidet poiché in Croazia non esiste.
Sottostante le camere un buon ristorante. Colazione a richiesta con pagamento a parte.
Piscina fruibile, ma non ne abbiamo goduto solo per questioni climatiche.

The room was nice and the hotel hat a little pool.
Unfortunately there was a big hole in the ground behind the hotel where they burned garbage… ex plastic bottles, cans, cardboard etc etc. It was obvious that they had done it many times and we even saw them drive garbage up there.

Très bon accueil à notre arrivée avec le maximum d’explications. La piscine est vraiment très bien, un peu fraîche, mais cela fait du bien quand il fait chaud. Il y a également un terrain de badminton à côté de la piscine, donc c’est parfait. Les chambres sont simples, mais suffisantes(juste, je n’ai pas compris pourquoi nos bouteilles d’eau qui ont passé la nuit dans le frigo n’étaient pas fraîches ce matin). Juste au pied de l’hôtel, il y a un très bon restaurant et en face, des jeux d’accrobranche et d'autres activités pour les enfants…
