We stayed in the apartment which had a well equipped kitchen and dining space, a large bedroom and a south-facing balcony. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. There is free parking at the property. There are two small supermarkets withing two minutes walk and a reasonably priced restaurant the same distance away. A five minute walk takes you to tow other restaurants. Plitvice National Park is a five minute drive away. Marija was a charming host who provided a lot of useful information about the park. We would not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit Plitvice.

Perfect stay when visiting Plitvička Lakes
Marija greeted me with homemade juice from a tree on the property. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The setting is quiet and private even though markets and restaurants are walkable. Entrance to Plitvička Lakes is only a nine minute drive away. Marija made me breakfast the next morning, again including homemade jam. Lovely stay, do recommend!

Marija was the perfect host! Her homemade breakfasts were delicious. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The private porch has a beautiful view. What a lovely little find about 5 minutes from the entrance 2 to the national park. Friendly welcome from the host who gave us some juice and some great recommendations for local eats. We stayed in apartment 3 which had a great little balcony. Really clean with everything you could need. Good WiFi and satellite TV. If we came up to the park again we would definately stay here. We paid for an omelette for breakfast (55 kuna pp) a little pricey but good start to the day.

Hotel Marjika is a surprisingly non-rustic apartment a short drive from Plitvice Lakes. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and a flatscreen TV with over 100 channels. There were channels in approximately five languages which would suit most travelers. There’s a lovely little balcony with a view of the park. There is a grocery store directly across the street and several restaurants within a 1 to 5 minute walk. The bathroom is modern and attractive and the shower was one of the larger ones in our experience with converted homes. Our room with kitchenette was very light and welcoming. There was nothing to want for and it would be a comfortable place to spend several days. I will definitely stay at House Marjika again if I return to Plitvice lakes.

House Marija was located in a small and cosy town. We had enjoyed the quiet strolls to the river and trekking in the forests very much. If you choose to cook, there is a supermarket across the road. The microwave in the kitchen was a pleasant find, allowing us to heat up our food easily. If you choose not to cook, there is a restaurant right next door, and a couple others down the street. Will recommend to everyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Delightful! The host family was very kind - offering refreshments upon on arrival. The room was perfect! it was very clean and had a lovely dine-in kitchen that was well equipped, This is perfect for those who are health conscious and want to cook their own meal, although breakfast is an option for an additional fee. The views from the room are beautiful! A must stay if you are planning a trip to Plitvice National Park (countless waterfalls and a must see!) There is a grocery store across the street making this an easy place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at House Marija! Our room was clean and looked cozy and nice upon arrival. We were greeted upon arrival with some pastries, and given information about nearby attractions. The host has brochures for nearby events which was very convenient! The hotel is located next to a delicious restaurant, which was convenient for meals, and across from a market, where you could by grocery items. It is a fast and convenient drive to Plitvice National Park, Entrance 1. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would recommend!

It is a family run hotel. Very nice hostess - there were two rooms available when we arrived, and she let us view both rooms and choose the one we liked. Our room has a balcony with a lovely view. Marija provided us with juice, some cheese, ham & bread. She also brought in a kettle, mugs and a selection of tea bags. We had a good sleep as it was very quiet during the night. Breakfast was lovely especially her home made plum jam it was so delicious!

They went over and beyond with loving care for our visit to walk the Plitvice lakes. The Autotrans bus driver from Zagreb knew where the Silestre Dresnico stop was. The owner husband, Stefan, drove us to the lakes entrance and returned to collect us at the end of the day and wouldn't take a payment.

We stayed for one night at house Marija, the whole family was very nice, the room was very nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Marija helped us with the trip planning of the next day and there was coffee and tea available. I was staying in another place at first but that place was full when I tried to extend for one night so I moved to House Marija, and I wish I was there 2 nights before. The place was spacious (ok, a double room for myself only), the room was very clean, very clean bathroom with a proper shower tub (not a makeshift one). The room has everything just like in a hotel room, wifi, usb charging ports, a proper desk (I really appreciate that), sufficient power outlets, a place to put your suitcase on (many B&B, guest houses don't have that), hair drier, Sat TV, racks for your jackets .... this is by far the most comfortable B&B I have ever stayed.

House Marija was awesome! Very clean and comfortable with a updated and private bath to boot. Marija is very pleasant and enjoyable to interact with and serves a delicious complete breakfast. She even greeted us with some delicious Elderberry juice on arrival after a long hike through the amazing Plitvitce Lakes National Park. The restaurant recommendation she gave was spot on too! The owners of this guest house were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was great; about a 5-minute drive from the Plitvice Park entrance, and a gas station about 4 km away. The area does not have many restaurants to begin with, but Marija recommended Restoran Degenija which was a 5-7 minute walk and exceeded our expectations given the limited choices. I would highly recommend this place because of its location, friendly staff, and hot water was always available for showering (this was a constant problem for some of the other hotels that we stayed at in Croatia).

The house is in perfect location to the Plitvice Lakes - I mean, why pay exorbitant prices for hotels in the the National park when this nice little place can be had for a fraction of the cost?!
Room is newly renovated, very very clean and tidy. Landlord is a very nice lady. Non-obtrusive and kindly. It gives this place a very homely feel. We had a simple breakfast. One suggestion that maybe application for this type of \"home\" style accommodation is to consider \"a-la-carte\" style of breakfast instead of having to preapre a spread for guest. You can have orders the night before to be served at fixed time e.g. 8am - 9am. If guest wants it later, then maybe they will have a free style cold breakfast etc. The warm breakfast will give a much nicer touch :)

Upon arrival, Marija welcomed us with fresh baked goods and her homemade fruit juice. We elected to have breakfast there in the morning. Delicious homemade preserves for delicious bread, eggs made to order along with cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt; and of course, coffee, tea, and juices to name a few. Marija was a lovely hostess. We'd stay again.
