The hotel was on a busy road so I couldn't sleep with the window open. The worst issue was that my room smelled of sewer gas which is why I wanted the window open. I stayed there twice for a total of 4 nights. The two rooms I stayed in were next to each other so maybe the sewer gas issue was only an issue in that part of the hotel.

The breakfast was great and the people were friendly.

Really clean and spacious room with a great view. Excellent location — within walking distance to the cable car and plenty of waterfront dining options. The staff were very helpful and professional. We stayed here for 1 day because of its proximity to the airport. The staff was friendly, the hotel room was clean and the location was walking distance to many restaurants, a mall and a beautiful boardwalk. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Lisbon and prefers to be away from the busy center!

The hotel was clean and an easy overnight as we have a late flight in and had to go somewhere the next day. It is just a couple stops from the airport on the metro (plus a short walk). We felt fine arriving late at night and woke up to a beautiful morning by the water.

This area of Lisbon is more of a business area but a very nice one. The Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre is near by and there are some museums and the aquarium within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is a very nice and modern hotel with an excellent breakfast and very spacious rooms. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we liked the location. It’s close to the river and it has easy access to metro and trains.

Great Location

Hotel is situated in the modern part of Lisbon. Very walkable with restaurants and stores nearby. The Aquariam is only a stones throw away. Parking is also easy as they have an underground parking garage.

There were NO single bed rooms available. The front desk was not particularly helpful in finding a room with one bed. The amenity of \"laundry facilities\" is incorrect as there is only outside laundry services. The bed had a plastic protector thus uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great location, close to the Oriente train station, Vasco da Gama mall, lots of dining options (Parque das Nacoes), and the airport.

The hotel staff were friendly despite being busy, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The hotel also did a great job communicating with me before we stayed there, as they had some questions about our booking due to my having reserved two rooms. They got us a nice area at the end of a hallway that had a door to close off our two rooms, making it more like a suite. Sweet!

Disgusted and did not meet expectations at all!

Not good at all! The pillows had sweaty smell on them that got onto my hair and I felt disgusting! The breakfast was okay but the disturbing thing was that I noticed silverfish bug crawling in the washroom. The first night we got there then the next day I left a piece of my clothes on the countertop in the washroom and found that it was eaten by one of the silverfish the silver wet fish was eating my clothes then my husband opened his suitcase and half of his new clothes were all eaten I notified the hotel staff and all they said was that they will send Housekeeping to take care of the issue. I went back and read reviews, and apparently the hotel knew about this bug issue and they did not care to let us know or resolve the issue and get rid of the bug immediately now our suitcases are in the garage and we’re scared to open them because I do not want the bug to get into my house cause there’s so much inconvenience as we were so stressed about this issue during our vacation time we had to run to the convenience store to buy lavender packs and we had to unpack everything when we are there and pack again and again to make sure that the book did not get into our suitcases very very disappointed and I would never ever recommend this hotel again to anyone!!

We stayed here because of the convenience, <5 minutes walk from the Oriente station and the shopping mall (incl. its supermarket). The concierge was very kind to agree to hold our luggage when we headed to the south of Portugal for an overnight stay before coming back the day after. One may expect plenty of transit guests but it seems this hotel also attracts a significant number of business travellers. The downside were in the bathroom where 1. the tub drain is partially clogged thus limiting our ability to enjoy maximum water pressure and 2. the scent of the shower gel isn’t great (but hey, to each their own).

The property was in a nice location. Near the business district of Lisbon.
I found the place to be a bit dated. The bar staff were great and provided good service. The breakfast was decent for what is included.

The place was cleared but i do not think that its thoroughly cleaned as my room was a bit dusty, carpets showed signs of needing a vacuum.

Overall Great!

We chose this hotel for our last night in Lisbon. It is conveniently located close to the airport, but not too close for it to feel like you’re sleeping at the airport. Overall great hotel, clean and friendly staff. Got welcomed into our room with a mini pastel de nata, which was nice. One con, we thought the parking was free, 1 night stay was almost 8 euros. Other than that, great quick stay.

A lovely friendly greeting on arrival checking in was very quick. The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location for the shops and the harbourfront the bar Area was very clean and friendly ordered room service which came within 10 minutes. Check out is it 12 but we had to leave early due to a flight The concierge ordered us a taxi which picked us up from the front of the hotel within five minutes of ordering. He loaded the cases into the car and open the door for us. Excellent service would definitely recommend this hotel We will definitely be using it again nothing was too much trouble

Clean with hard floors. Fast elevator. Good breakfast However even in a suite that I booked you get a tight full size bed only! Bed and pillows very uncomfortable! Paper tissue is a joke they give you a little box with 8 tissues (not kidding)! Overall I will not recommend.

Location was very good, not far from airport and had oceanarium, shopping, dining right in the vicinity.
Only negative was a bad smell throughout the floors with rooms.Cleaning didn’t really mask the odour but it was gone when we came in at night. In the morning it seemed to be coming back but we were leaving then. Staff tried to deal with it but we’re busy with groups arriving. Excellent breakfast options.

The hallway stunk so bad i almost mived out. I was on the 7th floor. Also, my bed covers were torn, with stains. Even though it's a relatively new hotel, they need to woke on maintenance. My room had insects in the bathroom one if tge days i stayed there. I have stayed at the Olissipo Saldanha and that was a pleasure experience unlike the Oriente. I will not stay at this particular hotel again.

Staying here was part of my first ever visit to Portugal. This is a modern hotel with friendly staff. It’s clean and has excellent lighting. It’s located in what is referred to as the modern section of Lisbon, conveniently close to a major shopping center. It’s also very close to one of the stops on the hop on hop off bus service, which I ended up finding to be very convenient. my room was comfortable and clean. It’s a great hotel for the price. I only recommended.

Dirty hotel needing a renovation

Hotel is very dated and dirty. The rooms are not well maintained and found a lot of dirt and dust throughout. There was a bug problem in my first room and so I had to get moved to another. Service was ok but not that of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast buffet was enough to get by but again nothing special.

Beds were very uncomfy - only provided two very thin pillows which felt extremely cheap.

No gym or anything as they say they are a 'business hotel'.

Asked for an iron as nothing in the room, first one arrived and didn't work. Then was given the cleaners own one she used and it worked but was very dirty and got dirt on my t shirt so then I couldn't wear it anyway.

After spending thousands on this stay I am very upset with the hotel standards and experience. Would not return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Olissippo Hotel in Lisbon enjoying two beautiful days at this ideal location right next to the concert venue. Everything was nice, especially the room with concert venue and river views was excellent.
Only the breakfast room could have been larger and the buffet could have been better and quicker restocked. Also, the valet at the door on the first day did not open the door for us nor did he even bring himself to smile or even say anything, like a OLA. NOTHING, that is not the person you want to put at the door to welcome your guests.

My husband and I stay at Olissippo Oriente for 2 nights before going to the Algarve and then one more night after, before flying back home. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The breakfast is great with good variety. The desk staff were friendly. Check in and out was flawless. The hotel is walking distance to the Oriente train station and also to the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center. It is also a walking distance from restaurantes by the river. The rooms as spacious. They have a espresso Delta machine. The bed was very comfortable. When planning another trip to Lisbon we will most likely stay at Olissippo again.

Great place to stay in modern Lisbon. Staff was super helpful and the location is convenient to trains, metro, and buses which will take you to Belem, Porto, and the airport. We enjoyed breakfast and meals in the bar, and in the surrounding restaurants. The close-by aquarium is magical and the shopping mall is beautiful. This is an inviting, bustling area of town. We very much enjoyed our stay.
