The city studio only has a locked window, which is frosted. The reception staff pretended this is written in the description - it is not, at least not on this website. This is outright misleading advertising.
A bathroom without ventilation is also a problem - it gets stuffy, stays humid, lingering smells of cleaning products. Oh, and the ventilation controls in the room did not work.
I was not changed to a room with a window and functioning ventilation controls despite such a room being available to book (and I was told the hotel was fully booked, despite it evidently not being so).

Really nice hotel, absolutely fantastic staff and very cool common areas.
Gym is really decently equipped but a bit too warm in there- which is a general theme.
The room was real hot and it’s not possible to lower the temp- you have to check with Mission Control or something. This was the only complaint along with the fact that the room lighting is SO LOW you can’t do your make up in a decent light 😂😂 Maybe the kitchenette and cups could have done with being a little more polished/clean.

Staff: everyone we dealt with was excellent.
Housekeeping: sheets washed with some very chemical smelling detergent. Toxic. Had the windows proped over for hours even though it was cold. There was rubbish under the bed.
Design: good size and layout. However, completely form over function! Couch/sofa was less comfortable than a park bench. Looked funky though! Lighting brought to you by an Emo Goth who doesn't want you to actually see inside cupboards. We has headtorches, so all good and were able to use kitchen after sunset. Wild how they fit a washing machine under that small counter (and washing machine!), but they only give you two of everything, and even if you used every plate and spoon it would still look empty! How about just providing a dish rack so we can wash our two plates? Or maybe provide some dish washing tablets too!
Maintenance: oh boy. Where to start? Heated towel rail doesn't heat. Batheroom basin has not hot water. Seriously? Basin tap comes off when you use it. Maybe related to lack of HW? Two windows that swing out at the bottom and are meant to stay open, as I have used this type many times. These don't so if yoy want fresh air you will have to jam something in the gap to hold it open. Only one of two elevators working during our 3 day stay. Audio messaging in elevator was hilarious mumble of a foreign language number, maybe.
Overall: good stay despite all the minor annoyances-- staff, good location but we'll look elsewhere next London visit.

The room was amazing, spacious, kitchenette’s appliances are good quality (using smeg cooker, washing machine), dishwasher and great crockery.
All the furnitures they use are very unique and comfortable.
The location is amazing with Millenium Bridge as the cafe’s view, delicious pastry and other choices for breakfast.

Negative:

Despite giving 5* I was surprised to see the toilet bowl was dirty, there was old black stained (room 416) and I noticed your guests toilets on the basement were clean. So it doesn’t make sense.

Rooms- Yes, rooms as in multiple rooms. The first room assigned to us, there was a thiiicckk layer of dust underneath the drawers and under the bed. This could not have accumulated overnight but over months of not cleaning under it. I started sneezing and my son was coughing when we stayed in the room. When my husband complained about the disgusting state, they offered a different room. When my husband checked the first room that was offered, there still was a thick layer of dust underneath the drawers to which the staff even looked under and was apologetic. The second room was better so we agreed to move to a different room. The towel rack did not work and temperature cannot be changed in the room. We have raised the concern of the towel rack and room temperature 3 times but nothing has been done.

The staff were amazing and accommodating and tried to do their best with the situation.

The room was clean, the bed is comfy, the room was good although I could have expected cheaper given that we were in the first floor facing a wall 3 or 4 floors high.
Another bad thing is the socket and switch at the same height than the mattress on the side of the bed against the wall, which it was annoying AF and the switch wasn't working properly. Raise it 1m, fix it, and no problem at all, so just bad design.
Everything else, it was good, quite boring location, but quick to access with the central line.

Warm reception- cold room.

When we arrived early we were allowed to check in. Staff are lovely. Room with a view is amazing and the room is really cool. Literally. Since arriving we have had no heating and despite asking at reception a couple of times nothing has happened. Sitting in a scarf looking at that view! The place is clean but some surfaces like shelves above bed are very dusty. Shame because these really small things could be sorted and the room would be perfect.

The location was good- close to 2 tube stations and right on the river. the shower was great. The suite was tiny. Bed shoved against the wall. Lighting was horrible. Walls were painted dark grey and black, so difficult for old eyes to see. Only 1 light by bathroom mirror so hard to put on makeup. Couldn’t figure out the microwave.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival. The room was modern and attractive. There was hangers for clothes and 2 spacious drawers. A hairdryer was provided. The bed was comfortable and the thermostat was easy to operate. There was a spacious refrigerator under the counter, a glass stove top, a microwave, toaster, and an electric water kettle, which we used to make instant coffee and instant oatmeal. We enjoyed the coffee shop, which serves as the entrance to the building. A laundry room was available but required an app for payment, which didn’t work out for us, but it wasn’t a big deal. The location was the absolute best! Staff were helpful and friendly. We were so pleased with this property!

We arrived into our room to find an odd device on the floor running. There was a stench in the room that smelled chemical based. After a few breaths myself and my partner began coughing uncontrollably. Our throats were burning. I look back at the device and it reads in parts \"This commercial air cleanser is for use in unoccupied spaces only. Make sure all people and pets are removed.\" \"Ozone concentrations can cause mucous membranes and respiratory irritation, turn off and ventilate.\" - Our room has no openable windows. The chemical stench is undeniable. We notify the front desk who advises that the cleaning team uses this device habitually. In rooms that don't have ventilation...and forget to remove them. Our throats were afflicted for about the next 24-48 hours, I did get a sore throat based cold as well, but that could very well have been the plane or another source. The property did move us to another room. I'd upload the photos of the device but no ability on this forum.

Micro studio makes several compromises on space, but having the kitchenette is important. Good location. Easy access to Underground, and a lot of places (West End, Tower Bridge) are only 30 minutes walk. You will need a taxi there however - you don't want to take bags on the tube...

Location is great. Right on the river next to millennial pedestrian bridge. But it not like a hotel more like a short term small apartment. Has a coffee shop open from 7-6 . No other services available.Lots of restaurants on both sides of the river and St Paul’s Cathedral nearby.

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel and it’s in a lovely area of London. Very close to St Paul’s Cathedral & the river. Although, in the room it was extremely noisy. We weren’t told about any building works happening right next door which we were rudely awoken to early Monday morning. Also, could hear cars/bikes racing along the main road, all happening with the windows shut. Towels had a strange smell.

Second time starting this time in a studio. Sofa area was very uncomfortable and no TV in the bedroom area. Well equipped however the bed was pushed against the wall beside sockets and light switches. The mattress was dipping in the middle. Loved this place first time I stayed unfortunately won’t return based on this visit.

Absolutely fantastic aparthotel. Plenty space, staff extremely helpful and are able to look after your bags after check out. Plenty amenities in hotel, small but practical gym, laundry room. In the room there's all the items you need to cook if you want to, toiletries in the hotel are good quality also so no need to bring your own.
Wee cafe down the stairs, fair prices and good food!
Great transport links with many underground stations around.
Would defo come and stay again when next in London!

Location on the Thames River is excellent for sight seeing in London. The staff is positive, friendly and helpful. Views of the river and city from the windows are wonderful.

That being said, visitors need to be aware of what they are getting. The background music was heavy, rhythmic, and loud, making it neither peaceful or relaxing in the common areas. The halls are long, mostly windowless, very dark green tunnels. The darkness is broken only by a single led light over each door. Appliances and shower are not user friendly, but staff will help.

The units are small and efficient, but we were very uncomfortable because it, too, was dark green, and, we had no window.

We were able to change rooms half way through our 8 day stay and the new room was marvelous. Long, narrow with 6 windows looking up river. I couldn’t get enough of the view day and night.
Make sure you get a window!

The location is very convenient for sightseeing. The washer/dryer combination is very difficult to use (for westerners) and it seemed to never dry the items fully. A drying rack would be helpful. Also, there were no kitchen towels to dry the dishes or counter, etc.

Stayed in the hotel over 20 times and this time around the bedding was not neatly done and creases everywhere. Long black Hair found Round the sofa. Cloth to dry the dishes had Staines which is a shame because its an oasis of a hotel. The second thing is people lying and sleeping in the reception with their feet full body stretch, which is not ideal for the boutique statues it represents as a hotel chain. I love the hotel; however, it needs cleaning and changes in how it structures policies around the coffee shop and seating areas.

We stayed in this aparthotel for 5 nights and it was fantastic! Rooms came with everything we could need and while on the slightly small size, everything was still very functional! Having the kitchen in the room made it easy from breakfasts in the morning there before heading out for the day! It was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful!

Great location-2 tube stops available. St Paul’s literally behind the hotel. Walked back to hotel from Tower Bridge-a bit of a hike but along the Thames on a sunny day was very nice. Came upon a mosaic time line of the history of London that was great.
Having a kitchenette in the room was perfect. It was fully stocked with everything you might need to eat in.
The location felt very safe. Nice to have laundry on site. There is also a little coffee shop in lobby to grab something on your way out for the day.
Cons—Couch super uncomfortable and a bit grubby. Area rug a bit grubby. VERY dark in hallway to room.
Overall very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay again.

This is probably one of the best places I’ve stayed at Central London. It was a few steps from the Thames, a short walk to St Paul’s. My room was very cozy, I especially liked the living area divided and away from the bed which made it easy to relax and have tea.

Very well appointed room with fridge, washer/dryer, oven with other necessities included. Amazing view over the Thames. Convenient to multiple tube lines, landmarks, and a grocery store.

Hotel was very quiet and we had almost no noise from other guests, although naturally there was some from the outside as could be expected in a major city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee shop on the ground floor was tasty and convenient. Bed was slightly less comfortable than I've experienced elsewhere but did the job. Overall an excellent stay, and would stay again.
