Wonderful stay… immaculately clean, all the staff were super friendly and kind, the room was quiet beautifully designed and the bed the bedding & bed super comfortable and felt luxurious.
The art work throughout the hotel was the icing on the cake

What a great hotel! Lovely staff, complimentary drink on arrival! Room was clean and nicely decorated, bed was comfortable! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings and cocktails in the evening in the lounge. I would definitely stay there again!

Great place for family stay

We were welcomed at the hotel with drinks and it was lovely. Everything was explained , they booked a taxi for us on the day after for our travel towards Europe.
Food was very nice at the restaurant too.

I booked a room via Expedia. The gentleman in reception \"checked me in\", placed tags on luggage. I left to exchange money. Upon my return, I was rudely notifiedthe hotel was over-booked and I no longer had a room. Because it was Valentines day weekend, most properties were sold-out. I spent 2 hours outside in the cold searching for a room. I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with other travelers. Best wishes...

The room was very clean & comfortable, with everything you needed. I had one of the best nights sleep of my life thanks to the super comfy mattress & the perfect room temperature. The location couldn’t be better for the activities we booked. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Awesome hotel!

Loved this hotel! It’s in a great location and was a perfect place to stay. The hotel is quite nice, the room was lovely and the on site restaurant was excellent. The room was a little small with the pull out couch in use but it was workable nonetheless. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no outdoor signage so it was not easy to find. Once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to hear we could check in early! Hotel is new and laid out perfectly, but the AC did not work.. it was miserable sleeping. We did request service but apparently overall issue. When checking out someone had thrown up outside our room which made it difficult to haul luggage out. Didn’t seem like a party hotel but maybe I’m wrong. Hotel bar had amazing drinks, otherwise very nice hotel

Amazing hotel with top notch customer service.
Beds were very comfy!
We loved the water and sparkling water taps in the hallway!
Easy access to greater London via Blackfriars tube stop and very close to Tate Modern & Globe Theatre.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This is my fourth time staying at The Bankside in the last 7 months. It is hands down my favourite hotel in London. Impecably clean, great location, staff is super nice they’ve become family. Normally I travel with my sons, this time I travelled by myself and they remembered me and asked about my sons and sent their regards. Walking distance to 3 Tube Stations, Tate Museum and yummy Borough Market. And their breakfast buffet is amazing!! Will continue to comeback!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We travelled with two small children and had a spacious king room. The sofa bed was big enough for them to share (ages 5 and 7). The bedroom was still roomy enough with it open and the bathroom was also not small. Overall experience upon arrival, breakfast and coming in and out of the hotel throughout the day was great. The y gave my kids super cute cuddly toys when we checked in which was appreciated. Breakfast buffet is good and coffee is really nice. Staff are very polite and professional. Location was a bit out the way especially after a long day of walking around but you can walk to Waterloo within 15 mins and Blackfriars tube is just over the bridge. On our last day we actually walked to Covent Garden in around 30 minutes along the south bank which was really pleasant. We’re coming to London again ina. Couple of months but staying at another hotel. I’m seriously considering changing my booking to come back to Bankside. It felt incredibly premium and luxurious, especially when travelling with kids :D

January 5th through 11th, 2024. 6 nights. It was very pleasant to stay in this hotel except dining. The diner food was not very good and expansive. We didn't try breakfast food at all. Walked to the Cote restaurant located next St. Paul for the breakfast every morning. Otherwise hotel was very good.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights Excellent vibe, design, amenities, staff, rooms etc. The room was spacious and met all our needs including good lighting that is often lacking in these boutique hotels. Storage space was ample. Room included full length mirror and an another lnext to the window for make-up (often missing in similar properties). bathroom was not huge but comfortable and had enough room for storing toiletries. electronic curtains were a big plus. The restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. The hotel is close enough to tourist attractions and the business district, but it is in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a good rest. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a very convenient location. There are two tubes stations within a five minute walk in either direction. There is also a lovely Queens river walkway located just across from hotel that leads along the Thames River all the way to the Eye Ferris wheel. The staff was so nice, and every request was promptly honored. The breakfast was very nice as well. It would be nice if they had an ice machine available, but a bucket of ice was brought to the room upon request each evening. We were very pleased with our stay at this top-notch hotel.

The rooms were very comfortable - great beds, pillows and fairly spacious for the UK. Very quiet too. The only critique I have is the service in the restaurant (Art Yard) was terrible. The server was rude and completely disappeared before the end of the dinner meal, without even asking if we wanted anything else or the check. She left and never came back! Very strange. The food was very average as well. I would not recommend this restaurant with all the great dining available in London.

Fantastic hotel

My husband and 2 children (17 and 16 years old) stayed here for 1 night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. We also used the gym which was great. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to be in the centre of town. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Perfect long weekend in London

This small hotel is perfectly situation to get you any place you want to be in London. I really liked the fact that it is a small hotel, so it's a great break from the touristy crowds. I stayed here over the Easter weekend with my 2 kids. We had a king sized bed with a pull out sofa-couch. The space was perfect. We had the buffet breakfast every morning, which set us up for the day.

Lovely hotel very quiet area. Drinks in the bar were quite expensive… £37 for a cocktail and Jack Daniels with coke. We was given 2 complimentary drinks so that was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Had a great stay, we were staying mid week so we’re upgraded, great room, hotel is within easy access of lots of sights like south bank, London eye, see life aquarium, river cruises, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament etc as well as bars, train station and restaurants. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting London. The room was beautiful with all expected amenities. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the little touches for decor were lovely. The bar and restaurant in this hotel is absolutely phenomenal and room service was fantastic. Also..super close to Thames and parliament/Big Ben!!!! Just book it and you won’t be disappointed. Seriously I won’t stay anywhere else lol

Amazing staff, beautiful hotel

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance from lots of attractions, bars and cafes.
The interior design was excellent throughout with considered design details in the bedrooms.

Great stay - careful on parking

Fantastic stay in a lovely hotel with very welcoming staff. Rooms were excellent.
Only minor point is to publish local parking suggestions as it’s too late when you arrive as the 3 temporary pull-in slots outside the entrance were always full and there is nowhere to temporarily park other than double yellow lines. Avoid the NCP at London Bridge!

Bankside Hotel is a beautiful property and in a prime location (right next to the Thames and the river walk). London is very safe and I was able to run to the Tower Bridge a few times using the river walk. The bridge is about 2 miles each way. We had a large queen room (2 queen beds) and were very comfortable for our 4 night stay. The room was clean, smelled good and the bathroom has fluffy towels and great shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

I booked the room through Expedia but the hotel reached out to me a week prior to my stay to offer a discounted breakfast option - I highly recommend it. Breakfast is 20pounds but the discount was 15pounds each / each day - well worth it. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and this saved us a lot of random stopping for food during the day. My kids ate enough that we were able to hold off on our next meal till about 4pm each day.

The closest train (both underground and above ground) is Blackfriars and the train lines have access to all the attractions. There is a grocery store next door and they have a good selection of food items, beer, wine.

This hotel is beautiful. New, clean and high tech. Only one issue with our stay was we checked in but had to wait so long for the room. When the room was ready, none of staff comes and let us know (as was told). We had to keep checking until one lady said actually your room is ready.

The ' generous queen ' was great for four adults; the staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful; the beds were comfortable; and the location was great.
