Whenever you book a room here through a different company other than the hotel’s, the front desk will give you one of the worst rooms they have. I have had this issue here on multiple occasions and the front desk once confirmed this practice of keeping the good rooms for the people who book through the hotel.

Honestly my go to whenever i visit west covina; its very affordable, they have a fridge and a microwave on request, the parking lot has a good amount of spots, and the hotel staff are nice. The location LOOKS spooky but we had zero issues. The only \"issue\" we had is that they confused us with someone else and came to our room telling us it was check out time but we just clarified to them we'd be here longer and it was completely fine. :)

Motel was chosen due to its short distance from where my husband was having surgery. After spending all day and evening at the hospital, I checked in and it really was a nice room in appearance but smelled heavily of Fabuloso. Not a fan of the product as its more of an odor masking agent than a cleaner. It appeared to be clean but upon further inspection I noticed old urine spots on the lid of the toilet seat and on the porcelain behind the lid. Hair in tub and dried up toothpaste in sink. The ice container and tray had not been cleaned in a long time as they were dusty and had dead ants on them. Beds seemed clean but seeing how housekeeping cut corners, I'm not sure now.
Later I brought my husband back from the hospital and we were able to get a good nights sleep. I really should have brought the issues up to staff but was too exhausted to deal with it.
Even at a low price point things should be clean.

There was not a peephole nor an additional lock from inside. Door is only locked by a deadbolt that is easily opened from inside by the turn of the doorknob. There is not a separate lock on the doorknob and a separate one for the deadbolt.
It was scary when someone mistakenly knocked on the door at 3am and i couldn't see who it was without opening the curtain (which i did not). I had to yell through the door to ask who it was.

Every day I just took a shower and slept for nights there . Every morning I went out to talkative house. I had to go to the office asked for a hair dryer and a microwave for cut noodles every morning. They did bring those two items for me as requested. As the room was cleaned but they still cleaned it for me.

I didn't like the heavy scent of whatever cleaner or disinfectant used. It wasn't on the sheets, pillows or blanket, just the carpet and bedspread. I would ask ahead for a room that is aired out. They do ask if you have any preference. I had a friend visit with a walker. They offered me a wheelchair accessible room which worked out perfect. I recommend this place to stay. Everything is top quality. The soap didnt dry my skin. The heating/air conditioner was really good and fast at cooling the room in the day and warming it up at night. Nice big refrigerator. Very clean. Quiet at night. Plenty of parking. Quick access to 10 freeway.

It was surprisingly very quiet for being across from the freeway. It’s very clean, the couch in the room has some stains from just being used, not a big deal. I love the little desk in the room. It didn’t over power the room. I loved the pillows, if you don’t mind pillows that are firm. Most places have soft pillows and I usually end up with neck pain after one night. The mini refrigerator is nice especially when you are having hot flashes and need lots of cold water to power through. They have a microwave in the lobby and an ice machine next to the lobby which is nice. I didn’t mind the walk to the lobby to use the microwave. The ac runs so quietly that I only heard the cricket that got in the room. I will definitely be booking a room here again, I don’t live in the area but have to come to take care of business. I will be booking a room when I need to come back the area for personal business or for extended holiday stay. It’s close the mall and food places as well as a Walmart.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and the room rate was good. Please note that when taking a shower, the bathtub can get quite slippery. At least it was in my room. There was no mat for the tub, so I asked the front desk if I could have one. They said they did not have any which is quite disappointing. I think this is quite a safety concern for elderly clients or those with some disabilities.

Properly, the rooms have definitely been renovated recently. They're clean and somewhat put together. The room was missing odd things. Like there was no do not disturb/ no turndown service sign. So everyday we had to decline service personally. As well as the room has no peephole. The cleaning stuff was very friendly, and the front office staff was short but to the point. Overall, it was an average experience, relatively inexpensive, and in a good location to be able to go to many different attractions and museums.

Worst experience we literally just checked in and go to the room when I asked for non smoking they said they didn’t have any then put me in a smoking room smelled horrible and the sheets where dirty had hairs and I went to just cancel and they told me since I entered the room I can’t I offered to pay a one night fee and then just get what’s rest back then they said if I pay 11 dollars for a cleaning fee they can put me in a non smoking room but they specifically said they didn’t have any so it’s horrible I’m still waiting for my refund never again don’t even come here
