We arrived very early and we understand that check-in is at 3:00 pm, but we felt no effort was made to accommodate us sooner. After a long trip, we were hoping for a bit more flexibility or at least some alternative.
We sat in a seating area of the hotel to rest for a while, but the sofas were taken away, supposedly for the restaurant, which left us without a place to sit comfortable.
Also, the air conditioning was not cooling properly and we were quite hot during our stay, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, we believe there is room for improvement in both customer service and guest comfort.
At least we had a safe place to stay, but for the amount of money we paid, we expected and deserved a much better experience.

We loved this hotel! We had our room upgraded to river view (facing Big Ben) as we requested (depending on availability)! The check- in was easy, same thing with check out. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and close to other bus stops that you can take going to the tube or a destination. Commute to/from the airport was easy. There is a convenience store very close to the hotel just in case you need anything. There is also room service available and an Asian fusion restaurant in the property! Great hotel overall!

On arrival the staff greeted us very well and offer us to take our Luggage to our rooms. And explain about times when dinner and breakfast will be served. And when greeting is for dinner they took us to our table and served us very well. Room service was very good abit disappointed they didn’t know what a tray holder was when food arrived. How ever the food was amazing. Also the house clearing was 10/10 and also was the live music also. The spa room was beautiful to relax after a busy day and unwind.

First time in London, we wanted to stay somewhere nice and close to the sites by walking, but also gave us a chance to explore the more laid back areas. This had a good location, great service, very helpful staff, very fancy room and clean comfortable bed. Thought about staying longer, I'd definitely stay again.

Hotel doesn't seem to have a consistent way of cleaning rooms and what should be included. Housekeeping needs more training. I was there for 8 days. Six of my 8 day stay, i never had any of the bath amenities like toothbrush, shaving kit, etc then the last 2 days, they were supplied. Number of face towels and complimentary water bottles were also inconsistent. Sometimes i get 1, sometimes i get 2. Then one day, they didn't clean my room until 430pm, and left used gloves on the desk!

Lounge had limited hours, only open until 5pm with very minimal food. Extremely disappointing since we would have liked to go yo the lounge to relax after a long day in the city.

Reception and concierge were genuinely welcoming and helpful, and we really appreciated the way they made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived.

Unfortunately, the room itself didn’t reflect that same standard. The lights kept turning off after around five minutes. When we reported it, maintenance arrived quickly, which we did appreciate, but the solution offered was simply to “turn it off and on again.” We had already tried this, and it felt a little dismissive to have it suggested without the issue being fully observed. We were told that if it continued, a computer would need to be plugged in, but that couldn’t happen for two days. The engineer also didn’t stay long enough to see the fault occur, which made it difficult for the issue to be properly understood.

In addition, the water pressure in the room was extremely low, which made basic use of the shower and taps frustrating.

We’re sharing this in the hope it’s helpful. The front-of-house team are clearly doing a great job, and with a bit more attention to the room maintenance experience, the overall stay could match the excellent first impression your staff create.

Booked last minute to relax in the Pool/Spa but it was stressful to us the facility. Was fully booked but not much people using it, better have it first come first serve to maximize the use of facility. Bathroom smells cleaning chemical which is not good.

Had a lovely stay at Park Plaza Riverbank!
Amazing service from staff from the second we walked into the hotel.
Room was ready so we had early check in, the room was great and clean. Comfy beds and had everything we needed. Couldn’t get the tv to work but not an issue for us.
Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice.
Pool was perfect after a long day walking around London!
Room service-steak wrap was delicious!
Excellent location- within 30 mins of all main sights.
Would definitely stay here again!

Emailed hotel before hand to say it was our anniversary and could we use the pool and did we need to take towels as we had 2 kids. Seems it was a generic AI email back saying they were looking forward to our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, our room did not have a bath, despite saying it was a bath/shower combination. Manager said there were no rooms with baths available but we could upgrade and pay extra. Tried to book into the swimming pool but it was fully booked, children are only allowed in between 8am and 8pm and only 12 people allowed in at a time so don't expect to be able to use the swimming pool, this was very misleading. My children were very disappointed not only by not having a bath but also not able to go swimming. Room was compact, sofa bed was atrocious, it did not lie flat and was very uncomfortable, we were grateful we were only there for 2 nights. Bedroom was not cleaned, despite putting the clean sign on, didn't want new towels or sheets, just simply to have the bins emptied and replacement coffee pods/tea bags after a day of touring London. Breakfast was sub par for a hotel of this calibre, cheap processed food and poor coffee. Watery porridge, cereals, some cooked breakfast items, sausage, bacon, eggs but again poor quality. Some pastry and toast options were also available. Very upsetting, we expected a certain calibre from this hotel but were left very disappointed, parking although secure is a 15 min walk away and very pricey.

The rooms were lovely, though the bed was quite firm, also walls are quite thin so could hear people around us arguing.
We paid £18 pp for the buffet breakfast which was terrible. Nothing was topped up, cheap ingredients and lots of tables rammed closely together, dirty floors and even a hair in the beans, which we complained about but heard nothing.

I initially arrived at about 1800 to check in but the queue was long, so I went for dinner and came back later.

I arrive again about 2000 to check in, and it took approximately 10 mins for me to get to the desk, there was a couple at the desk checking in. There were plenty of other staff members around, but no one helped to check me in.

The room was basic for what we paid. Had a view of a flat roof which separated other rooms across from it , unfortunately there was also a disgusting kebab splattered over the roof so we kept the curtains closed throughout our stay.

On our last day we went for the buffet breakfast which cost £25 per head. Unfortunately the meal did not match our expectations. We were seated near the window and right beside a table which was stuffed with dirty cutlery, plates and cups and glasses. Like a weighstation where the waiters couldn’t be bothered removing the crockery to the kitchen. Two of the waiting staff walked into my travelling companion whilst she was trying to plate her food. They were rude and avoided any courtesy. We watched one of the waiting staff pick up a dirty napkin from one of the tables, where he brushed off the crumbs to the floor and then did the same again to the next three tables using the same dirty napkin. Truly disgusting and we won’t be staying here again.

The buffet ‘hot food’ wasn’t even warm. Sorely disappointed by the food and service team. Really surprised that this is a Raddison with the poor status of the dining.

On a pleasant note our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom does need a deep clean though to remove the mould from the shower. Our trip to London was somewhat overshadowed by the hotel.

Upon checking into the hotel & arriving at my room it became clear the TV remote was missing. A replacement remote was provided after flagging this to reception however it only worked intermittently rendering the Tv borderline useless.
I also discovered the next morning that the provided hand soap, shampoo & shower gel were all empty. Again this was sorted after flagging however this leads me to believe the housekeeping / room preparation is not as I would expect for a hotel of this rating & cost.

Other than these issues the hotel was nice with a good breakfast offering.

Hotel was nice, great location on the Thames although you have to pay extra for the nice view... Not an issue for me as I was just sleeping here when in town for work.
The check in was efficient, friendly. The whole of the property seems in good repair etc. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was not entirely clean. One of my colleagues had to be moved room as hers was really not clean.
The bar was nice, service was good.
There are some nice pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants near by if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The area seems very safe to walk round.
The breakfast was very good. the Sausages were very nice and decent bacon too. And the scrambled eggs were nice. Very good for a buffet indeed.
All in all a good place for the money and I would stay again

Nice room, although would have liked a better view you had to pay extra for that. Disappointed that we went for a swim the next day and you had to book in advance and decide what time you went the day before. Only a small pool so guess that is why. Also, there was no robe in our room and when we asked when we saw everyone else wearing one, we were told by reception you have to ask for one at reception (not automatically in the room). Staff were very friendly.

The hotel advertises that it has \"air conditioning\". But their cooling AC is turned off to save money over winter.

At check in, staff insist that the rooms have operable AC, but they don't. Activating the AC led to the room heating up. It was impossible to sleep. I was first told to turn it off and collect a fan from reception.

Five calls to reception over three hours, and very late at night, the duty manager moved me to a new room that had cooling AC activated.

Someone needs to report this hotel to Trading Standards.

Breakfast was nice but was not hot so had to eat it fast. Also breakfast room was cold. Bin in our room was emptied by cleaners and the full bag of rubbish left in middle of the floor. Shower screen was discoloured and mirror was worn with underside showing through. Room had a general tired look. Stayed here couple of years ago and it was a lot better.

My family and I had a great time at this hotel. They really went all out for the kids for Christmas including having a play room for the kids open until 8 pm! It’s a huge room! Speaking of, we had two rooms. One room was more modern than the other. One complaint is one room only had European outlets while the other had both. The rooms are a decent suze. We didn’t stay there much so it was fine. This hotel is located near to Vaux Hall which is with exploring itself. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the London Eye/Big Ben. The best part though is the staff. Every single staff member, including those who brought us room service (which we ordered almost every day) was polite and friendly. Marc checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at Park Plaza Westminster before and that location is extremely close to the London eye (5 mins or so), but I think staff here is friendlier and it also feels less touristy. Great stay and we will be back!
