Ideal location to stay in central London with ease of getting to anywhere you need to be. The hotel staff and super friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a ice pop when we arrived as it was so warm. It was really thoughtful and refreshing. The hotel smells nice,amenities looked after and lots of good service. At checkout the porter saw us waiting with bags and approached us to see if we needed help, we did as we were waiting in the queue to ask if we could stow our bags for a few hours. Really great hotel, the only minor thing we found was that the pillows were too hard, but that is on us and our taste and wpuld not put us off staying again in the future 😀

House keeping was exceptional, the house keeping personal was friendly and very helpful. Reception desk answers all my questions and suggested place to eat. Can't say enough about it. If and when I come back to the UK I will definitely stay @ same place. Thanks Park Plaza Waterloo.

Very clean. Bar staff was not friendly and ended up leaving to get a drink elsewhere. Room was nice. Free instant coffee or tea. Hallways are very dark but overall would recommend and would stay there again.

Hotel is in a very convenient location across the street from the tube allowing us to go around the city with ease. Rooms were clean with updated modern amenities throughout the property. We stayed at another Park Plaza location last year (Riverbank) but prefer this one for future visits. Breakfast is £20 per adult if you pay in advance (or £25 the day of) and kids eat free. Complimentary cold water in the lobby and in the room (3 free bottles) which was nice to not have to hunt down water after a long day out.

Great location with North Lambeth tube station across the street. Walkable to the London Eye, Westminster. The hotel is very dark. They use mood lighting in all the hallways. It was difficult for me to see things. We also had our room entered daily even though we asked for privacy. Our light were off when we left but on when we entered. We talked to security about this and was told that the security manager was off duty and they would follow up with us in Monday. We did not feel safe to leave anything in the room.
In addition, you have sliding(shared) doors for the toilet and the shower. There is very little lighting in the bathroom which makes it hard to see. We did have one light replaced but it really did not help. When you took a flashlight to the shower, there was lots of black mold on the corners and floor. We used shoes while in the shower. Water pressure was not great. The beds were great and comfortable and the room space was adequate.

Traveled with kids so the pool has set allowed time for them and you have to reserve your time for use, with kids. That was a different negative experience for me, but minute in the overall stay. Customer service was excellent...breakfast was routine, but worked for us... highly recommend spending the little extra for the omelet! We had the breakfast included option, but the omelet is not included. Drinks and service at the bar were great. I especially thank those young ladies assisting me with the need for just lemon. My daughter was getting several bouts of upset stomach from motion sickness and they helped without judgment and with a generous portions. We did not have a single bad interaction with any staff. London was wonderful to us!

Not a good start, when check in took over an hour for the two rooms that were pre booked. Then one of the rooms was dirty. The replacement room we were offered was also dirty so we stayed where we were because we had been delayed going to our event because of the check in. Constant lies from the staff when we complained about it being investigated and coming back to us and some 6 days after our stay I was still having to call them to chase them up. Still having settled on a solution yet as I was offered 1/3 of a refund. Not good enough when the start to our stay was marred from the offset and we in our minds the who time of our visit. Would stay there again based on staff lack of respect, customer service and lack of communication. Not what one expects from the Radisson Group.

Nice hotel, rooms very quiet even though you’re next to Waterloo station. Staff on the desk weren’t very informative. Not enough tea, coffee, sugar sachets in room also we booked for 3 people but only two cups. Plates at breakfast really needed to be hot for the cooked items as they went cold very quickly.

Concierge staff were amazing and helpful. The staff at the service desk not so much. We booked the terrace suite with balcony. We asked to have the key to open the balcony and they told us no, because we may hurt ourselves and only there for one night. (We have stayed in this room before and had no issue) the gentleman at the counter in the morning was apologetic and seemed to be j sure as to why we had been declined the full use of the room we had paid for. So we ended up with a room with the view of our balcony at an additional cost and unable to use. Disappointing. Also no soap in the handwashing was annoying, but I have hand sanitizer. Everything else was fine. And we have previously had lovely stays here.

The hotel itself is lovely. The staff are lovely to talk to. But they don't deliver on promises. The facilities have faults which appear to have been known about for some time but are not being repaired.
1. The pool and spa. One of the two ladders in the pool is taped off. The showers in the ladies changing room and the steam room/sauna are taped off and not working, so you cannot shower before entering the pool. We went into the steam room and there were small black insects on the seats. When we went to let the staff know there was nobody about in the spa reception.
2. The room. a) The shower temperature was variable. We ended up having two lukewarm showers. b) There was no milk and only two sachets of coffee. A minor issue, but seems again to be a repeating issue.
3. On leaving I raised these issues with the staff and was told that a manager would be in contact to discuss this and get further details. No contact has been made.

Clean modern hotel. 3 minute walk to the underground. Staff were welcoming and polite. Restaurant served excellent breakfast and evening meals. Our room was extremely comfortable.

Only downside was the bar was extremely expensive for a small bottle of coke

Would like to return in the future.

Overall the hotel has a nice location but our experience wasn’t pleasant. The rooms and bathrooms could definitely use some more cleaning. We were initially allotted a room on the 6th floor with a view but upon arrival we found out that we got rebooked to a room on the first floor no view which was very disappointing. Upon asking multiple times the staff gave us a room on the second floor with partial view. Housekeeping is very slow and neither the sauna or showers worked in the common area.

Soundproofing wasn’t amazing. The fridge and air con wasn’t the best especially in the 30c° + heat. Housekeeping did not clean my room and had to request reception for the service. Could do a with a shower screen in the bathroom, as the floor got wet whenever you used the shower

My stay went very well! The location is very central, my air conditioning was excellent during a heatwave, the room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The staff was also very helpful. My only complaints are that I had a view of a brick wall and my room/closet smelled like cigarette smoke.

Our room was wonderful, we had the Superior Twin with the sofa bed! Plenty of room. I did have to ask for the room to be looked at on the second day. And it was taken care of straight away.
The Gym and pool was excellent to use

Modern, clean hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Had to drive into London so an onsite carpark was ideal and was very secure and safe. Easy access to the underground which is literally across the road. They may have been waiting on rooms to become available for the one I had booked and without any delay I was given a complimentary room upgrade by staff which was a great gesture. Overall experience was great and would definitely recommend and book again.

We really liked the view in our room and it was in a great location. However, we noticed that supplies like hand wash, tissue and body wash were not refilled and it was hard to reach anyone by phone all afternoon. I had to go to the front desk and they refilled the items right away. I enjoyed their morning breakfasts and friendly staff.

Upgraded to exec but didn’t receive complimentary water. Friendly staff, greatly kept hotel, room was great (much better than photos give away!). TV was rather slow. A 50/50 experience.

Rooms were pretty good, very slight bit of wear and tear around the edges, but clean and beds were comfy. Staff were all really helpful and welcoming, they have been trained to a high standard. The sauna and gym were a nice bonus, again, was pretty clean. Didn’t eat here so can’t provide feedback on that. Location is fairly decent, it’s a 5-10 min walk from Waterloo. Would stay again

We liked that we were very central - but yet there was a bit more peace about the location. The staff were helpful - and the view from the room was fabulous. My daughter enjoyed the gift bag she was given and that the hotel had a pool. Another bonus was that room service, had we ordered it was affordable and offered enough choice. Next time - we'll order in room service for sure. We hope to come back and make greater use of the spa facilities.

The hotel provides a bath towel and hand towel. No washcloth. Shower was partially functional and somewhat clean. Bed has a bottom sheet and duvet, no top sheet which is pretty gross at a hotel. Otherwise everything was fine.

All rooms have non-closing bathroom doors. Reception told me it was Health and Safety! There’s a two inch gap so you can carry on talking while you’re in there. An Allen key would undo the stopper. Don’t pay for breakfast. It can be a bun fight, very crowded, queues and cold beans on a small plate. Plenty of other options nearby. Pool also gets v busy. Is clean and staff are nice. Good location. Central.

I stayed at two different rooms, plumbing work in the shower rooms are extremely bad, shower hole leaking, the first room shower room’s drain was completely clogged, I changed for another room, the second room water was leaking badly to the floor of the living room with the shower room door completely closed, the plumbers of this hotel don’t know what they do or just do very lousy jobs. No early check in, or I have to pay extra for each hour of early check in.

Lovely staff, decent facilities, nice breakfast (though don’t get there after 8.30am as it’s rammed). Nice pool. Only real downside, hence the 3 star not 4 star, was the room - ours was very small, first floor “overlooking” a same level roof. Sound insulation very poor - conversations in the corridor and the TV in the next room were intrusive, though I’m not a great sleeper and I’m sure others would find it fine. Strange lighting in the room meant that the “night light” in the bathroom kept the bedroom a little too light all night. Interesting bathroom set up - no door, and the door of the toilet and shower didn’t actually close on either. Good location - handy for Westminster and the tube a couple of minutes away. A laudable “Green” push going on - sadly this meant that our telly wouldn’t work one night - nobody answering the phones (guest relations, concierge, reception) so a trudge down to reception with a 7 year old to get it sorted. Engineer was quick and helpful.

The room was clean; the staff was helpful. There were not many restaurants close to the hotel that did not involve walking through the sketchy train area. There was no consistency to the vouchers given for not having daily room cleaning (one of our group got 1 another 2. 1 was told that it could not be used for breakfast and another could).The halls are very dark and would be problematic for people with vision loss. The door in the bathroom would be difficult for older/physically challenged.
