It was my husband’s bday during our stay but we never mentioned it so must be that they saw the date and they sent up a warm handwritten bday note with English Tea. Class act, very kind. Joshua in the breakfast restaurant was awesome , assisting guests who needed help- no one had to even ask, he saw they were struggling or looking for something. Also saw another employee in the breakfast area assisting a handicapped woman.

This hotel is excellent value for money. They try and meet your requests too re room locations etc. The hotel is in a quiet location of london so better for a decent nights sleep.
The check in staff are a little 'flat' not unwelcoming but not overly pleasant either.
The free buffet breakfast is excellent and a definate perk for this hotel.
The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and great showers albeit things like curtains missing a couple of hooks making them sag at the end, floor lifting below dressing table and broken wall shower bracket just knock down the standard slightly. Not that it bothered us.
Overall a very good hotel for the price

Breakfast was good and slightly different everyday. The location is perfect for seeing all the attractions and to the underground if you want to get around that way.

I was staying there for my birthday and they left a sweet note and a cute gift of teas for me! I didn’t even tell them it was my birthday so the fact they paid attention to that detail means a lot. I definitely recommend this hotel!

We had paid extra to stay in a corner room, based on the photos on the website offering river views. We had a view of the buildings opposite and the road outside reception! Not impressed as I felt this was false advertising on their part. The room was modern and enough room but the bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The bar doesn’t have any drinks on tap and bottles and spirits are limited. It was a fair walk from the tube station, which meant we did pay out for a few taxis during our 4 day stay.

Very good hotel, about 6 min walk to underground station and very safe, highbrow area of central London. The rooms are not big, typical of central London hotels. A few disgusting damage in my room, which I reported and hopefully they fix. Breakfast is like a 10/10. I spend about a third of my year in hotels and I think this hotel got a really good breakfast.

The room was a highlight, intelligently designed, well laid out, and genuinely comfortable from a usability perspective.

Everything was exactly where you would expect it to be. Unfortunately, the bed undermined the entire experience. The mattress was notably uncomfortable, and the frame creaked with even minor movement. For a stay built around rest, that is not a small detail.

Service was efficient but impersonal. Both the front desk and café staff handled tasks competently, but with little warmth or engagement. At checkout, there was no enquiry about the stay, which reinforced the overall impression that guests are processed rather than welcomed.

I paid £40 for a late checkout until 2pm, which appeared not to have been communicated to housekeeping, as they entered the room while I was changing. An avoidable and unwelcome interruption.

Overall, while the room design reflects clear thought and investment, the broader experience does not match that standard. It is a well-designed product let down by execution. I would not return, which is disappointing given how strong the fundamentals are.

Breakfast was a bit hectic as the hotel was obviously fully booked so quite long queues to be seated. The quality of the cooked breakfast was poor my partner said the cooked meats sausages, bacon were either under or over cooked. I tried scrambled egg with ham on some toast which was not great. Our 2nd day breakfast experience was better queues not quite so long and opted for different foods choices the quality of which were much better.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel room was a good size and clean although I did state in my check-in review that the pillow cases were a bit stained and I questioned the so called corner room with river view which was barely visible. Also as a uk resident just staycationing in London did not expect to be asked for my passport or even driving licence given that we arrived on public transport. Luckily I had a digital copy of my driving licence to hand and as we’ve stayed in London hotels many times, and all that’s required to confirm the booking is the booking reference. I Just feel this could have been communicated to us before our trip. We know in future to ensure we have such documentation regardless.

Rooms were very modern and clean, the shower was good high pressure and rainfall style. Shampoo and conditioner were provided in the room as well as free tea and coffee. Breakfast was a full English break plus a pancake bar, fruit station and plenty of pastries. Only downside is that it’s not close to the tourist attractions and there’s not much nearby to do or eat.

The room and hotel were nice, the shower was excellent. Room could have been cleaner I found a used contact lens on the toilet floor and someone had stuck a sticker on one of the walls. Staff are friendly, breakfast is chaotic as others have said. Mainly due to the layout - food is also luke warm. Good selection of fresh salad.

The hotel is closer to tourist attractions. Walking distance and there is a nearby small restaurant and cafes. The hotel has a nice view of the city especially at night - top floor gym. The bed is very comfortable but not soundproof if you’re light sleeper. I can hear the noise outside and nearby rooms. Apart from that all okay.

As the property has become busier the standards have dropped and the level of customer care is not the same unfortunately. Unlike the victoria property, these rooms are not always sold with breakfast included which is more expensive if you decide to add at the property rather than online

Clean-ish hotel for reasonable price. On the surface it does feel modern. However has a lot of issues with cleanliness when you are there for more than a few min (shower heads look like they’ve been caked in limestone for years).

Breakfast is terrible with a packed/messy food
hall-style area and probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel (from concentrated liquid coffee).

Location is also not ideal for getting around London.
If you can get it cheap or need to access places nearby, go for it…otherwise you can do better!

I stayed here for several nights while exploring London and taking day trips to Cambridge and Windsor as part of an Expedia package that included my flight at a reasonable price.

The concierge staff were efficient and friendly, and housekeeping serviced the room each day. One thing I noticed was that the window was left open each evening when I returned to the room, which I didn't realize until I heard some outside noise.

The room was clean and fairly spacious. There were plenty of USB-A outlets available for charging devices, both at the work desk and beside the bed. The bed was mostly comfortable, though I still had a bit of trouble adjusting to the time difference. The TV had several channels but no streaming options. The bathroom is located right by the entrance, so if someone is using it while another person needs to leave the room, it may feel a bit awkward. A safe was available in the closet next to the sink. Temperature control was easy to adjust, and the room included all the basic amenities. A small refrigerator kept drinks cool.

Breakfast on the first floor was included and offered plenty of options, so it was easy to start the morning well. The dining hall can become crowded later in the morning, but seating was generally available.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a quiet and convenient place to stay.

The toilette doors are not clean and should be cleaned at the bottom.
