Extremely bad customer service. Had a problem with the Air-conditioning, Reported nothing have been done.Instead of Air-conditioning, heating was working we were roasted all night.

Clean room but found that the shower gell dispenser is empty.
The toilette doors are not clean and should be cleaned at the bottom.
No water in room and u can go and fill ur bottle but it should be filled to start with.

The room setup everyone else complains about in their review. I understand it, but for me, it was just fine. I had a queen room and was comfortable. My room was clean. The staff did a good job ensuring the room was cleaning daily, during my stay. Breakfast was good, for the most part. The gym is awesome; love the view and setup. The staff is amazing. Honorable mention to Aminah & Romero. Accessible to most transit and attractions; I enjoyed taking the bus and tube. I would stay here again.

The staff was absolutely incredible from the beginning! As soon as our cab pulled up, one of the concierge members opened the door for us, took our bags, and walked us in to the check in desk. Breakfast was delightfully although a bit crowded. Easy walking distance to a fair amount of sights such as Westminster Abbey, Westminster Palace, and Buckingham Palace. Overall, would definitely stay again!

Concierge staff are particularly warm and friendly. Location is great - fairly quiet street but handy for tubes and busses and lots in the local area. Room was clean, very comfy bed and generally of a nice standard.

Staff were really kind, but the housekeeping could use more consistency. There were days when we specifically requested housekeeping and they did a good job but other days we didn’t request it, and the cleaned our room with half the effort. They left our used tea cups and didn’t refill the teas, milks, and sugar.

Excellent room and staff. Let down by internet log in system. Couldn't get wifi first arrival and in the morning my laptop and android phone got logged in but my iphone was locked out and reception nor maintenance could get it logged in. Very irritating your room wifi cannot be reset.

Absolutely fantastic area, safe, clean, lots of buses and good places within walking distance. Bed was wonderful and I loved door between bedroom and front door.

Only negative was the nasty cheap cold sausages on cooked breakfast, yuck !

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, and everything throughout the visit ran very smoothly. The accommodations were comfortable and well maintained.

One small suggestion would be to include a spoon in the room to accompany the tea and coffee cups. Additionally, having room service available would make a big difference—especially after long tours and returning late in the evening when it would be nice to order a meal without leaving the room.

The staff at check-in were wonderful. The young lady who assisted us was exceptionally kind and welcoming—she set a great first impression and would be an excellent person to help train the check-out staff, as that experience was not quite as friendly.

I also want to recognize the gentleman who helped us with our luggage; he was very attentive and professional. The on-site Starbucks was a great convenience and a nice touch.

Overall, I loved staying here and would happily return. With the addition of room service and a few small in-room amenities, the experience would be even better.

The room was tidy and sufficient. Staff was friendly. While they were in the middle of an ownership transfer they did well making our stay almost perfect. The hotel was located in Winchester, close to city sites, tube, and bus stations so we had no problem getting around and enjoying the city.

I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Riu Plaza London. The staff were very pleasant and professional. The room was spotless and housekeeping was superior.

This hotel was so beautiful, our rooms were clean and so spacious. The staff was genuinely kind all the time and never made you feel like a bother. It is a walkable distance to so many attractions in the city and there’s a bus station literally so close by, very efficient and convenient. I would stay here every time I’m in London. I loved it !!!

Nice hotel, comfortable beds etc but the front desk - there were 5 of them are cloth-eared - nice but dim probably expresses it best. We found only decaf coffee in our room so asked the desk for some plain coffee for our morning cuppa. None arrived so in the morning I went to the breakfast room and poured coffee for me and my wife and told the restaurant manager of the issue. He promised to inform the front desk and at 11am, some minutes before our departure, a couple of coffee bags arrived.
Great hotel but if issues arise don't expect any resolution.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and used to go to the bar some 17 years ago. Whilst the location and lobby area are great, the restaurant and bar are so terribly sad; lacking the merest hint of atmosphere or ambience. Such a waste.

I paid for breakfast before the hotel was transferred over to Riu, however I only experienced the breakfast once in the hotel and it was OK. There are some very good things about the RIU, but there’s room for improvement. The staff at check-in were friendly and welcoming. The room itself, though super small, was well-appointed. The design was a bit odd - one enters the room through was is ostensibly the bath area. The toilet and shower are separated from the main area by stalls. There’s also a closet. It has a fine number of hangers, but the space for storing other items was poor (and there’s no place in the main room to do so). We had a very hard time figuring out which light switches were attached to the room’s various lights.

We found the lighting and ventilation in the toilet and shower areas to be inadequate. Indeed, they were very dark, and the shower smelled musty. At one point a housekeeper attempted to enter the room without knocking first. After that, when in the room we always posted our “do not disturb” sign.

The bed was super comfortable. Checkout was a breeze.

The restaurant was great for breakfast. There was a wide array of options. However, we tried to eat dinner there one night, but the place seemed not open. We also tried to order room service but no one answered. We wound up going out instead. Given that the hotel is in a location where little is open in the evening, having to forage for food when we really wanted to stay at the hotel was irritating. For other than breakfast, I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant.

All in all, the RIU is good. Not great, but good.

The staff here are a credit to the company, every single one of them has greeted us with a smile and positivity from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hotel itself is beautiful, although a little bit dark in the hallways. The rooms are top class and very spacious. My only complaint is that the shower head was leaking over the ceiling and the amount of limescale build up was quite excessive. The bed is nice and firm, but my back is missing my own bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone staying in London,

La distrubución de cuarto no fue de mi agrado ya que el baño es incómodo, tiene un cubículo para la bañera (la misma no tiene lugar para acomodar los productos de aseo), otro para el inodoro y el lavamanos a la entrada del cuarto, no ofrece privacidad si se viaja entre familia o amistades.
