Breakfast was good, although toaster just heated up bread rather than toasting it. Had to run it through twice. Hot food was more lukewarm. Nice variety. Easy access to things. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting taxis and storing our luggage.

Great location! Walkable to all many historical locations and close to the St James tube. Check-in was simple. We opted for the Superior or bigger room and although smaller than what we’re used to, was quite sufficient with a king bed. Room was a little dated but comfortable. Breakfast was affordable and had a variety of self serve options. We stayed 7 nights and staff was wonderful. Would come back.

Staff, amenities, and quality is average, in the best way possible. It’s the bare minimum for a hotel in my opinion. However; the elevators suck, extremely slow, and the room we got was very small, and lacked ventilation. If the room was slightly bigger, maybe with the bathroom in a separate room, and not next to the bed. It’d get 5 stars.

I stay at this hotel every time I visit London for work. It has a great central location, close to the Tube and walking distance to many parks. The rooms have everything you need and are very clean! I only provided a 4 star this time as the internet connection was so weak, it was hard to do any work in the hotel; and the elevators were under maintenance and jt would take awhile in the morning rush to go up & down.

Stating that the hotel’s location is good is a MASSIVE understatement!! This is the best location for a trip to central London! We walked everywhere and saw so much in 3 days. I would highly recommend this hotel! The pubs nearby (Blue Boar and The Sanctuary) had excellent dinner choices! I cannot say enough great things about our stay.

Staff was nice, especially housekeeping because I had to find them while they cleaned rooms on our floor for new towels etc.

They say to inform reception before 12pm if you'd like your room serviced that day. Two days in a row, 930am the first day and 11am the second I asked them and saw them write down our room numbers on a list. Both days, our room wasnt serviced and the list housekeeping had of rooms to clean didnt even contain our room, so some communication breakdown between reception and housekeeping must have occurred both days.

When we returned to our room and saw it wasnt cleaned, but housekeeping WAS on our floor with their list, they were apologetic and accomodating giving us new towels etc.

Also the climate control in the room was sporadic and didnt seem to work as desired.

Other than that the hotel was nice, served its purpose and the lounge downstairs is nice.

Room looked better and bigger in the photos. The room was the size of the bed. It was a match box. Hardly any space to move around. There were no amenities except for a shower gel and hand soap. A/C was being controlled from the lobby and I had to come down every single night to have staff turn it on. Asked for new towels and was just given one when there were two of us.vAt $200/night, I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I recently stayed at The Hub by Premier Inn for four nights, and I’d like to share my experience.

While the room size was compact, it wasn’t a major issue for me. However, I encountered a significant problem with my health. On the first day, I began experiencing severe itching on my knee, which progressively worsened. By the last day, I noticed what appeared to be a rash or possibly bedbug bites. I consulted a local pharmacy, and they recommended an allergy cream, which provided some relief.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi was out for the entire day on my fourth day, which caused a lot of inconvenience. I couldn’t contact my ride or use my phone effectively in the room, and I had to go down to the lobby just to get a signal.

When I raised these concerns with the manager, I didn’t receive any offer of compensation or assistance. This lack of support was disappointing and has left me quite dissatisfied with my stay.

Staff was on the curt side, not terribly welcoming when visiting the bar and lounge area. The room photos were taken from a strategic angle that hides how tiny the room is- not suitable for anyone that has extra size to them, barely accommodated my husband and I and there is only one walking area on one side of the bed, so you have to scoot by anyone you are sharing the room with to pass. Also, why would anyone make a bathroom enclosed in glass- no privacy whatsoever, and no exhaust in the bathroom to exacerbate the concerns. Only provided with body wash shampoo combo and hand wash at the sink for amenities and hairdryer is mounted to the wall in a very awkward location to try to use it. I would summarize saying it is the most basic of basics with modern looking decoration

The location was fantastic. The room itself was not only dated, but far from functional. The complete lack of surfaces to store bags, small items, anything really, was almost comical. Since we did not want to store anything directly on a very stained rug, we requested some extra towels that we spread out to put our bags on. Having to get down to the floor in order to sift thru our luggage to do anything, was not a pleasant experience. A dresser, a low bench, a fold-away luggage rack . . . any of these items would have improved our experience massively.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Having free coffee available 24/7 was a big plus and much appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around London. The room was small, but that’s expected in London, so it was perfectly fine for our needs. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

Rooms are incredibly small - not a bad thing if you’re just using it to sleep but was definitely tight for two people and their luggage. Air system didn’t work the best, and the shower didn’t have a fan so room would get incredibly muggy and humid when someone was showering. Breakfast buffet was good and staff was friendly enough. The rooms AC & Heater is controled by the receptionist and customer service is not good at all. If you complain you will open a door for yourself trauma better not to say anything untill you leave. Staff gossipe will make get the same treat from all staffing.

The property is located steps from Westminster Abbey, The Parliament, and multiple Tube and bus lines, making it very convenient to get around London and to all major sights.

The condition of my room was terrible. The carpet was dirty and stained all over from years of use. I was afraid of this because there were several Google reviews with pictures of dirty orange carpets blackened with multiple stains. The shower doorframe had mold trapped in it, there was mold around the rim of the drain opening of the washbasin, and the paint on the wall behind the washbasin was cracked and peeling off.

We alerted management of these issues after checking in, and they replaced the carpet and caulked the bottom edge of the shower the next day. Good, quick response, but management should be proactively checking on the condition of their rooms and doing the necessary replacement/upkeep on a timely basis, not waiting to do so only after getting customer complaints. For $300 per night, the condition of the rooms is completely unacceptable.

Although the room was compact, it was very clean and well appointed. The WiFi only worked with the TV on (as a hotspot), but that was only a minor inconvenience. The location was top-notch, a very short walk to the Tube and attractions. It always felt very safe as well.

We appreciated the location and proximity to many sites. We were in walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye. The rooms were very small, but also very quiet so it was easy to get rest. The hotel is very near St. James subway station. Upon arrival, we got off at Westminster Station. I would recommend people traveling with luggage to get to St. James Station. We also found a few very cute pubs close by with good food.

SUPER LOCATION!! The room was a little tight, two sides of the King bed were against the corner of the room BUT it was a KING bed. You're in the room so little traveling that was not a huge issue. The location to the sites, Westminster, Big Ben, the Eye, Changing of the guard, Buckingham, could not be beat. Pubs close, access to the River and water UBER, try it, so amazing. Would definitely book again.

Good location and good facilities for a budget hotel. The rooms are tiny and only really good for 1 person. The worst was that the boiler broke and I had to suffer cold showers for 3 out of 4 mornings. Not having hot water is unacceptablAfter the 1st morning, I was promised it would be fixed, after the 2nd it was clear it wouldn't be. They need better emergency cover. All the hotel offered was to cancel my booking so I could find another hotel. Last minute in central London I was looking at between $300 and 400 per night.

The staff was the best, always willing to help. Whether at the front desk or at the breakfast lounge.
Room were small but adequate to hold the luggage. Accessible bathroom was very spacious. As most hotels in this range in Europe, there was no iron or fridge/tea but the breakfast lounge offered free tea and coffee 24/7. Breakfast choice was ample and the staff managed the morning crowds efficiently. The hotel is walking Dayan r to underground and Buckingham and west monster.
We had a lovely time here.

Hotel was great. I traveled alone and the area always felt safe and so close to the main attractions. It was in walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Clock tower or Big Ben as well as the Orlando eye.

The location is good.
Customer service bad. They only provide 1 pillow per guest. I asked for 1 extra pillow for my back support since I stayed for 6 days but they said NO! I already paid my room so I cannot transfer to another hotel nearby. Just suffer! I asked them to clean the soap dispenser cause its full of gunk outside the bottle it looks like they have never replaced since it was put to use. They only provide a small roll of toilet paper so my last day runs out I have to use Kleenex tissue. Bad customer service...The breakfast ? I ate the same food for 6 days.

From the moment we walked in to this gem of a property, it just kept us beautifully surprised!
The location is the best for anyone wanting to walk to all the landmark locations.
The staff of this hotel make it! Their constant attention to you is remarkable. The little things matter - like extra pillows, a surprise glass of champagne in the afternoon when you are lounging after a day of site -seeing and helping you to open doors etc.
The hotel rooms, while smaller than the standard, are so well designed for comfort. Very impressive to see what can be done to provide comfort in a smaller space!
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! A hidden gem!
Oh - forgot to mention coffee and tea station available 24 hours in the lounge/ dining room! Nice touch!
