It was very cold in the wood when we first arrived and the heating didn’t come on until morning. As the windows are the old wooden type it was hard to keep the cold out. Blankets are in the room but a few more might be required.

The room was reasonably priced for the location, a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station. However, be careful if walking on the carpet with no shoes. There are some nails coming through the floor boards and starting to poke up through the carpet! Also, there was a leak in the very small en suite. The walls are so thin you can hear your noisy neighbours!

The staff were friendly but the hotel, and the room in particular were poor. It was dark, the door handle looked like someone had tried to take it off previously, the plug sockets and electrics didn’t work and looked like they were just temporary extension leads, the light switch by the bed didn’t work, there were spiders webs across the ceiling and the bathroom fan sounded like a plane taking off.

All fine so long as all you are looking for is an ultra budget bed - nothing else, disappointing for London Victoria.

This is a great place for the price if you are trying to stay budget friendly. The room was clean and simple. The shower and bathroom areas were also clean and simple. It’s a great place to stay if you just need a home base. I felt safe in the building, however the front door would get stuck open. If you’re coming and going I’d advise turning around to make sure the door closes. It’s a great neighborhood that is very walkable. Only about 10 minutes to the trains/buses. The staff was lovely and very helpful when I needed a plug adapter, fork, and late checkout. The bed is not comfortable at all. It was very stiff. Which could be personal preference because i like a little cushion. The walls are also thin and you can hear your neighbors. Also would advise closing the window at night if noise bothers you because there are people walking/talking down the street at all hours.

I was disappointed with the reaction from the proprietor on arrival when I tried to explain that due to a positive Covid test my friend could not take his room which I had paid for! The lady just said ‘no refund’ no explanation just go. The room, Tv not working shower height slide came off the wall. No heating no headboard it was very depressing. Would not ever stay again

Key was difficult to use in door - had to swap it for another one. Patches on walls and electrical outlets attached with duct tape. Room had the world’s smallest bathroom! One of those 1970’s afterthoughts. Could barely stand in it and brush your teeth. Shower head was broken so had to prop it up against the wall, but had decent hot water. Happy to have window that opened but no way to control the heat so keeping it open meant the heat was on full steam which made it even hotter.

The following is what I experienced during my stay. One of the worst hotel stays that I have ever had!!!!

-Sink in my room had very low water pressure it was not useful for practically anything…
-Instead of a proper hand towel hanging in the room by the sink, there was tissue paper provided. In fact, I asked a couple times for a hand towel and was provided a dirty one and second time the employee couldn’t find one.
-Body wash in the dispensers were often low.
-The shower was occupied on my level. I went to 1st level to the larger bathroom. The shower bracket holder for shower head was disconnected and shower drain was plugged during the time of use and water flooded onto floor. Manager didn’t bother fixing issue.
-The very old house phone in the room didn’t work to call front desk and needed to walk down multiple flights of stairs every time I had a request for service.
-I had intermittent issues opening and locking my room. I was concerned about the security of my room because they use skeleton keys In fact, when I arrived the employee that assisted me upon my arrival also had an issue opening the room.
-The window for my room didn’t have a screen and needed to stay open due to the extreme heat during my stay. Insects the entered the room. Staff provided a fan, but the fan noise prevented me from getting to sleep.
-Safety issue. I was informed the front door to the hotel should be locked after a certain time. The times that I came back late door was unlocked.

Everything was good for the price, clean, staff so sweet, the only reason for 4 stars is just that the sink was so small that I could hardly wash my hands in it nevertheless the face. And it looked more like a house with a few tiny rooms

The room was not what was advertised. I had to drag my suitcase up 5 flights of stairs with no help. Got to the room and the bed was a single, mini fridge that was unplugged, rotted windows, taps loose and dripping, could hear my neighbours through thin walls, semi open sockets. Worst place I’ve stayed. Actually didn’t stay the night, left a few hours after check in.the photos made it look spacious and like a double bed, it was basically a water closest. I just couldn’t believe it how bad it was. Couldn’t upload photos but have emailed.

Perfect location! So easy to get everywhere and the location is in a really nice part of Victoria. We booked to stay in twin room with private bathroom but the toilet wasn’t flushing. The lady at the front desk had a look and immediately changed our room for us. Very happy with this service! The room is well kept and didn’t feel dirty. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the pillow and beds. My partner and I had back and neck pain our whole trip because of it. Other than that I cannot complain because for the price, I was very happy with this hotel! So overall I would recommend to stay here :)

We were not expecting much due to reviews I had read. But it was clean. However room stunk of cigarette smoke. We had a collapsible bed, small, doubtful.it was even 4ft 6\", reasonably comfortable. We paid for a slightly larger room but bathroom was still tiny, and not fit for someone with mobility issues. At least a foot high to step into a very cramped bathroom area. Shower its self good power but room to shower was extremly cramped . Could not shut bathroom door if seated on toilet. Ceiling fan only worked when light was on. Lights in bathroom not working. No fan in room to cool it down on a hot summer evening. Very basic , Very over priced at over £150 per night for what we got.

Stayed recently for a work trip as the location is great! Having seen the pictures I thought the hotel would be basic which was fine as it was only for the one night with a late arrival, but it was a lot more basic than expected.
It wasn’t a proper bed, just a cheap metal frame. There was no hot water (and I did wait the 3-10 mins as the sign on the bathroom door advised for it to heat up) . My colleagues bathroom was so small they hit their head on the door multiple times and the window in my room was difficult to lock. The room and window (ground level) were unlocked and open on arrival. The door itself was an old school lock and had a gap between the door and frame where I could see the corridor outside. Didn’t feel 100% safe staying here.
That being said, room was clean as was the bedding and towels. The person on reception was also friendly.
Never one to leave a bad review but definitely dont think this was worth the £120 paid

The location is not bad for its price. It is walking distance from the tube and many of the touristy sites. The room is very small (also tiny bathroom-I’m 5’9, I’m sure someone taller than me would not fit), but again, not bad for its price. The walls are very thin so you can hear people going up and down the stairs/talking. May not be the best location for a light sleeper (likely, I don’t have that issue). The shared bathrooms/showers were always kept clean and organized. Never had an issue finding a time to go/never busy. The only downside is there is no ac, the room was very hot, other than that it was not a bad location and would recommend it to anyone traveling on a budget.

The place was nice but the rooms were very very small and had to use an old school key to lock and unlock the door..so if there was an emergency I could be traps. very narrow flights of stairs to get to rooms. No room heater that worked. Coffee pot could not reach an outlet unless I put it on the floor. The water never got warm or hot.

Receptionist was super friendly, however the door handle to the room lifting off the door on both sides, no control over room temperature, bathroom fan sounded like it could come away from the bearing at any second.

I thought I'd be helpful when leaving and strip the bed, only to find stains all over the duvet and pillows, which was rather grim to see.

Looking at the positives, there's loads of shops closed by and it's a 5 minute walk to Victoria Coach station.

Nice and helpful staff, there was no light in the room for the first night, the staff said they would fix it but nothing changed. The next day a very nice gentleman fixed it. There was also very small bathroom, you could barely open the door. Unfortunately it was not possible to have breakfast, before covid it was possible. Great location, grocery store around the corner, 5 minutes to the coach station, many communication options.

The place was clean and fresh, the linen was clean and good warmth from the room, the lights were well placed and the bathroom was modest. A little grime around the shower and would have liked a little extra like an extra pillow on the bed. However the place was satisfying and clean and a warm atmosphere from the room would stay again in the same room. Overall the hotel is very easy to find and in a good quiet location the only sound to be heard was the underground which is to be expected as it was below the hotel.

I reserve for seven days and I could not stay a complete day. The hotel conditions are deplorable. There are bo air conditioning, the fan did not work, the water in the shower you have to wait 10 minutes to wait the hot water, the hotel is moisy and you can barely sleep, the paint the walls ofnthe hotel paintbyour cloth if you touch the wall among other things. I already submit to expedia a claim for a refund. I am waiting response from Expedia to solve this sitiation.

The listing says shared bathroom but only two out of the four floors have restrooms so it is communal across 4 floors of people. The photos make the restrooms appear much larger than they are, however, the restrooms were kept very clean. Housekeeping knocked but we didn’t answer because we were taking a nap, but proceeded to come in anyway and when we said we didn’t need anything and they could clearly see we were lying in bed, still asked to come in and check something outside our window when it was apparent we had been sleeping and didn’t want to be disturbed. The electric kettle on the counter was full of water and didn’t look sanitary to use. Overall the place met our needs but we would not stay again.

The room we got was not what was pictured. It was the size of a shoebox with bathroom and shower separated from the room. You could see through the door keyhole and we were only given 1 towel per person for a 4 day stay. No amenities at all, no fridge, tissues, etc and the road was noisy. On the positive side, it was very close to the tube station and accessible to the city.

This place was exactly what I wanted as a solo traveler. The room I stayed in was just one bed and a sink, with access to a shower and bathroom outside the room. It was the cheapest place around, and in a perfect location. If you are a solo traveler and you just need a place to sleep this is exactly what you want.

Overnight stay for an Embassy interview, location is great as its only a short walk to Victoria Coach station and Victoria Train & Underground stations.

Info & Communications started before my stay. Friendly welcome.

The room was small as expected but more than adequate with good WiFi, heating, TV, Kettle with tea & coffee and a wash sink & mirror.

Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I had a great night sleep.

Would definitely stay again for short visits.

Unser Zimmer sah überhaupt nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Der Teppichboden und der Polsterstuhl waren voller Flecken, eine Steckdose war mit Klebeband an die Wand geklebt, in dem Campingbad tropfte es permanent auf den Boden und oben im Kleiderschrank war eine dicke Staubschicht. Die Heizung war zentral reguiert und lief um 22:00 Uhr auf Hochtouren. Das Fenster konnte man aufgrund von Lärm und EG-Lage nicht öffnen. Die größte Frechheit: Nachdem wir Expedia kontaktiert hatten, ließ das Hotel verlauten, man hätte uns bereits ein Upgrade gegeben und könne keine Erstattung oder Entschädigung zahlen. Worauf man uns angeblich upgegradet hat, ist mir ein Rätsel, da wir eines der wenigen Zimmer mit eigenem \"Bad\" hatten (der Zustand des Bades war ebenfalls katastrophal) und es lediglich ein Zimmer mit 3 statt 2 Betten war - das allein ist definitiv kein Upgrade. Ich verstehe nicht, warum dieses \"Hotel\" in diesem Zustand auf Expedia sein kann.

First of all, this is not a hotel, this is a bed and breakfast (without breakfast) the only good thing is the location but London is huge and there are tons of options with good location as well. Rooms are smelly and old, very noisy as windows are not properly sealed. Hotels have a lobby area, mini-fridge, place to eat and bathrooms, forced to eat outside all the time as room was already smelly. Hotels offer to store your LUGGAGE AFTER CHECKING OUT WITHOUT AN EXTRA CHARGE and this is not the case, funny they do not mention that when you are booking. Even thought I explained I only needed to go out for breakfast (aprox 2 hours) they said i still needed to pay 10 pounds after 6 nights stay! hotels do not charge for storing your luggage either before or after checking in/out. Checking out is early 10;00 am Personnel are courteous though. I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

Quaint little room for two. Easy ten minute walk to Victoria Station for use of the Underground. A few Bus stops about 8 min away. Some good dining options nearby. Cute little convenient store at the corner with the essentials. Staff was great.

Perfectly adequate

Perfectly adequate hotel. Excellent location with sites, restaurants and bars nearby. Steep stairs could be tricky for some people so take a lower level room. Bed very comfortable. Satellite TV connection wasn't working on my second night which was annoying.

Amazing location! Only 4 toilets and 2 showers for the whole hotel which may be a problem when busy. Other than that couldn’t fault this place, was nice and clean and staff were friendly
