The description that rooms are much larger than comparative nearby hotels is not true - our room was small - no sitting chairs, just enough room to walk each side of the bed and to place a small suitcase on the floor in the corner. 2. The bathroom sink is small with no counter space, and the tap spout extends out, making it difficult to wash.

Booked this hotel for 1 night, as transit to be close tot he train station, 1st impression is great, hotel looks clean, goo ambiance downstairs, once to my room, room is ok, however the bathroom is extremly small, the door to the shower hits the sink so it does not open fully and I need to manuever to access such shower, also not all the toiletries mentioned on the website are actually available, and the grout in the bathroom had mold.
Staff is friendly overall; however, they are not good at solving issues.
The continental breakfast is extremely lackluster for the price of the hotel and the upcharge for breakfast.
Bottom line, if you really need a hotel for the night, this will do, but there are better options nearby.

The Ecclestone Square Hotel was a great hotel in 2011 when it opened to great fanfare… and it does not look as though it has been updated or maintained, or gone any attention in the intervening 14 years since.

The hotel is small and recently renovated. The staff is very helpful! As advertised, many of the feature in the room are high tech, so if that isn’t of interest to you, prepare for a learning experience. The beds are very comfortable and the location is nerdy close to Victoria station.

The hotel was really good. The service was really good and the concierge were very helpful. The food service from the bar is very limited, but was good. It takes a little getting used to all the new electronics in the room and how to work everything. Some negatives were Almost no counter space in the bathroom and no electric plug-ins in the bathroom. We had to plug our electric toothbrush in the sleeping area. If you have a chance, let them open the gate so you can sit in the park. It’s a private park and it’s beautiful or spending a couple hours reading or just relaxing.

Tiny room, “fancy” light switches were challenging to operate, room-darkening curtain controls didn’t work well, no washcloths were provided or available upon request - if you’re an American used to bathing with one, bring your own, meager continental breakfast was ~$20/person - too much considering the room was already over $300/ night.

Upon arrival the front of house was very welcoming every member of staff I interacted with. The hotel is cashless which I don’t think was advertised enough as I was paying cash and ended up having to source another payment method. I stayed in the king size room, I knew the rooms where small but honestly didn’t think of the practicality of it for 2 people, nowhere for the suitcases or even to put the extra blankets or pillows, we even struggled putting up the ironing board let alone walking around nowhere could pass 2 people in one area. The rooms were hot even though the air con was on max which resulted in frustration and broken sleep. The rooms were very clean just not practical, great location nice and quiet and 5/10 mins walk to Victoria Station.

Lack of sound proof doors so some hallway noise. Ceiling rainfall showerheads not cleaned of water calcification so the little plaatic nipples on the showerhead get clogged and water sprays horizontally and even out of the shower area....please clean, its simple to just run your hand over the plastic sprayers a few timea and it will clear it right up.

Controls from an iPad in the room were inaccessible due to a French-language interface - should have been set up by the staff to operate correctly prior to renting the room. Rooms are extremely small, even by European standards. They are also not very sound proof so a lot of noise from the hallway, elevators, and adjacent rooms comes through. The multiple tech features randomly flashed blue lights at us throughout the night. Would have liked to receive help from the staff with info about the local area, recommendations for eating out, and operating tech features but the staff was not helpful. Overall vibe was uninviting but we had a great time outside of this hotel. The location is great but recommend staying elsewhere.

Lovely hotel with good and disappointing aspects. Staff were really friendly and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately room was way too hot and we couldn’t cool it down. Bathroom door didn’t shut and the shower was really awkward to use. The tech they have invested in is annoying and a little over the top. The room also smelt as if someone had been smoking. The room is on floor -1 and there is a little courtyard outside so maybe people are smoking out there and bringing the smell inside. Breakfast was ok although nothing is kept chilled. For a hotel with such a high rating I would have expected something really special.

An amazing stay in a lovely boutique hotel in a very smart and quiet part of London. We received a very warm greeting on arrival and our request for a slightly earlier check-in was accommodated without question. Our only (minor) constructive criticism was that the downstairs space was on the warm side, making it uncomfortable to spend any time there.

We had a great time at this hotel. The location was quiet but provided easy access to tourist sites. The decor was beautiful throughout the hotel, and the integrated room technology - tablets in each room for orientation and information - was fun to use. While the Eccleston has a modest menu, we loved the halloumi sandwich we had after a late night arrival. Ibrahim welcomed us and made us feel comfortable as we ate in the lovely lounge. On two mornings we enjoyed breakfast served by Ali, including the best Americano coffee of our trip. We would highly recommend the Eccleston Square hotel to friends and family.
