The staff were welcoming, and the room was clean, but the shower was broken. The water did not drain away when I showered last night. I reported it to the team as I left. This morning the shower again did not drain, meaning both the bathroom and bedroom flooded.
When you are paying £300 a night, a functioning shower is essential. I expect some compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort.

We booked the hotel very last minute when our plans changed and i'm so glad we did! It's absolutey fabulous. It doesn't feel like a hotel, more like staying at a friends incredibly well equipped and beautifully decorated house. The staff are super friendly, decor gorgeous, everything has been considered. It also has the best range of snacks in the room and they even left us a little easter gift and card. It's easily walkable from Victoria station (convenient for trains to Gatwick) and there are plenty of food options nearby if you don't want to stray too far. Its definitely our new favourite and we will absolutely be coming back!

Hotel placed over £200 of charges onto the credit card left as a deposit. This was for a room that was full pre-paid. Beware as if I had checked my statement they would have got away with this.

Reception a little slow, always seemed to be in the restaurant area. Room was larger than average for central London which is a positive. As is the location, a few minutes walk from Victoria. Room temperature was an issue and adjusting thermostat didn’t seem to make a difference. As a regular traveller to London I probably wouldn’t stay here again, certainly better options available for the cost of the stay.

I rarely leave reviews but had to give a shout out to this fantastic boutique hotel! It was in a great, safe area- walk to Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace Etc, and the hotel itself had a very cool/Hip vibe. Rooms were cosy and well appointed and had everything you could think of needing and when you asked for something else it was there in 2 mins. Front desk staff was very friendly and happy to accommodate our early check in so we could shower after our red eye flight. Beds very comfortable, shower great, and last but not least the restaurant/cafe was fun and food outstanding! The downstairs pub also had a great vibe. All this and a great value. Will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay at the Artist Residence. Really funky, fantastic attention to detail - high quality toiletries, superb quality bedding, just loved everything about it. We stayed in the Club Suite which was spacious and quiet. Enjoyed the cafe too. Definitely will return.

Wedding stay 2 nights
I booked three rooms for the night before my wedding for myself and bridal party. The hotel is beautiful and feels very comforting and lots of light coming in. Upon arrival we were told there was 24/7 service however at 9pm when we needed help with the tv we went downstairs and no one was there. We rang the bell and called down however no answer. The next morning in the grand suite where the bridal party was getting ready there was a leak in the bathroom and then it extended across the room. This was very stressful for the morning of the wedding. The staff tried to deal with it promptly however we were told at one point that it wasn’t a leak and just the paintwork. At first we thought it was the air conditioning but it was from a room two floors above. There was no compensation on our stay for this stress after booking the grand suite for two nights plus two additional rooms.

This is more a guest house than a hotel. At 250 per night it is very expensive. Room is ok. A bit tatty! Could do with a refresh. Door needs painting, shower has large lime build up on taps and bottom of shower door not that clean. Curtains are frayed, Other than that staff were very nice.

We had a very comfortable 3 nights stay in a 'Small-plus' room last week. Beautiful bedding, toiletries, dressing gown and mats provided - making our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Small touches make a big difference. Perfectly clean and tidy.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift - this should be noted for those with problems climbing stairs but was not an issue for us.
We had a superb breakfast - delicious!

I stayed here with my fiance. We had a lovely time! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I was a tiny bit disappointed when we didn't get the room stated in your picture on hotels.com but the loft room was really great!

Beautiful small hotel in Pimlico. Ten min walk from Victoria station but in a quiet little street. Room was quiet with no traffic noise. Quirky rooms and really friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is charming and slightly bohemian. All the design has been thought through, and works well. Our room (No.5) had everything we needed including good tea and coffee facilities. The room was bright and surprisingly, for London, very quiet.
The hotel has a fine cafe restaurant which was very popular; busy when we returned to the hotel at circa 11.00. We did not try the food, but it sounds good

This is a really lovely hotel. Lots of character. Really friendly staff. Super artwork.
Tea and coffee in rooms really good quality.
Our children met us for breakfast with our dog and we had intended to be outside but weather was not so good so they happily said we could have him inside and provided a bowl of water. There were other dogs too.

Amazing stay
We loved our stay at Artist Residence London. We came down for a night away before our baby arrives and it was the perfect place to stay for our little trip. The guy who greeted us made us feel instantly welcomed and the room was beautiful. It was comfortable, cool and just a bit special really! We also really appreciated the little touches around the room - especially the umbrella which we did use after forgetting to bring our own. Saved us from a lot of rain!
We would have loved to stay another night if we could! Hopefully we’ll get to return at some point.
We ended up having breakfast there too which I would highly recommend because it was excellent. We had the veggie cooked breakfast and the buttermilk pancakes and it was all honestly sensational.

We were the first to stay post lockdown restrictions. The Hotel is small only 10 bedrooms but excellent facilities and really helpful staff. Bedrooms are excellent value for money and bfast is really good. A similar vibe to the Soho House style but smaller number of rooms (just one tiny point would be to add espresso cups in the bedrooms)
