Well equipped kitchen, beautiful rooms, spacious and clean. Felt safe in the area. Good location, walking distance to train station, coffee shops, restaurants and a few shows. We had a wonderful stay with our kids here.

Property looked good from outside. Staff very good. Initially our room looked great but we experienced a smell in the hall and stairs which started to come into the room. Staff were brilliant in terms of checking readons for the smell and changed our room to one on the upper floors. Breakfast was good. Staff, and Jordan in particular, could not have been more helpful

Lovely stay at Georgian House Hotel. We arrived early on check-in day and they were happy not only to hold our luggage but also carry it up to our room for us once the room was available. Everyone was so kind and courteous, and they were happy to help with whatever they could. We had quite a lovely stay. The bed was roomy and comfortable and the bathroom was super clean (albeit snug, but that's to be expected in the city, I think). Each day the room was provided with a large pitcher of filtered water and two packs of delicious biscuits, as well as tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious and actually quite a good value, as they provided extraordinary and unlimited juices and lattes as part of the breakfast, and it would have cost at least that much to get breakfast out on the town. We'd definitely stay here again. Travel tip: Victoria Station is huge and convoluted -- exit from the Regional Rail Track 1 exit door, turn right, and the hotel is just two blocks down and three to the left. If you exit from a different exit, though, you will walk forever and get very very lost.

The room was absolutely spotless, my only one fault was the size of the bathroom and the walls under the sink and around the shower could do with a good water mark remover but the room was gorgeous, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. All the staff were absolutely amazing, the gentleman who showed us to our room was lovely, he looked so excited just to show us it. Location was perfect, 10 mins walk from Victoria train station

This is the perfect location for exploring London. I took the tiny single room, just right for one person who needed somewhere to rest but had a busy itinerary the rest of the time. The staff helpfully posted on an item when I had forgotten it too, emailing before I even realised it was missing. I’ll stay here again on my next London visit.

The room and washroom were in good and clean condition with nice small touches. Though washroom and room are pretty small for a family of 4. Plus, a lock on the washroom would have helped for more privacy.

Also, I believe it is best to place your room for 4 on the ground or lower level. The 3rd floor with luggages up and down was quite a workout. We did get help bringing our luggages on check in but on check-out the receptionist is too busy already. We also thought we would only have 3 flights of staircases and not 3 sets of staircases which equals to 6.
Front desk can be busy with only one attendant.

Cleaners should clean and vaccum when there are limited guests in the reception area. Your cleaner was vacuuming right on our feet while awaiting to check out which was uncomfortable.

Everyone is corteous which we appreciate.

Location is close to the Victoria coach station which was convenient.

Luggage storage at the front desk corner after check-out was also a great addition. But was not expecting luggage storage to be in an open area in the corner of the reception room which makes me uncomfortable. But, nothing was lost so thank you.

We recently stayed here for a birthday weekend and overall had a mixed experience.

Unfortunately, the room itself was quite small and felt very cramped, with the bed taking up most of the space. The bathroom lacked privacy due to a noticeable gap in the door, which may be uncomfortable for some couples. We also found quite a lot of dust in the fan unit, and there was a collapsed floorboard in a narrow part of the room leading to the bed, which felt unsafe — particularly for older guests.

Noise was the biggest issue for us. The walls seemed very thin, and we could hear people walking outside, creaking floorboards, and a nearby toilet being used frequently. As a result, we were awake from around 8am both mornings and didn’t manage a proper lie-in. For us, a good night’s sleep is the most important part of a stay, so this was disappointing. There was also a slight damp smell at times, although this appeared to have been masked with air freshener.

Prior to arrival, I had requested (via Expedia) birthday bunting in the room and mentioned I was happy to pay extra. Unfortunately, this request wasn’t acknowledged, which was disappointing as it would have made the initial birthday surprise much more special.

We were also asked at checkout whether we wished to keep a complimentary service charge that had initially been added, which we found unusual.

The area is great, and well connected by public transport. The room was overall comfortable. The only criticism is that a fair amount of the floorspace is rendered useless due to the lower ceilings on one side of the room (for shorter stays this might not be so much of an issue). It may look nice, but not very convenient. Also the room could not be completely darkened at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely.

Very disappointing; I booked a room and that’s what I got, one room. The room had a double bed and a freestanding bath in the window area, no shower just a bath. A toilet had been installed against the right hand wall and then a frame had been knocked up around it with a badly fitting door to form a toilet area. To wash your hands in the basin you had to lean to one side as the toilet overlapped it. Opposite another frame had been knocked up to form a cupboard with a rail for your clothes and we were given 4 coat hangers. The tea and coffee making items were below; well below to give room for hanging clothes, you had to make drinks kneeled on the floor; if you wanted one! The electrics that supplied the kettle and coffee machine were via an extension cable pinned to the wall. Water stain on the ceiling, ripped wallpaper, it was just a room, a tired one,
£200 a night, it was worth half that.

Had a top floor room with low sloping roof which may not suit taller people. A lot of stairs to climb to get to room as no lift at the hotel. Very clean & comfortable bed & bathroom.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Check-in was effortless and I was able to keep my luggage there to go to an event after check-out. Breakfast was perfect, both a continental and cooked menu options. Also perfectly situated for Victoria Coach Station and Victoria and Pimlico Underground Stations. Buckingham Palace is about a 15/20mins walk away and Knightsbridge about 20/25mins walk. The hotel is also in a very nice area of London and although my room window looked out the front of the hotel, there was hardly any noise from outside even with the window open. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, I would definitely book again.

The property is poorly managed. My bathroom door stuck, as did my room door. My room was on a main corridor so that the door rattled when people walked by or entered the building. I was woken during the night by repeated bell ringing because no one staffs the door.

We did get a good laugh with how small the bathroom sink was, but we made due. I mentioned this to the receptionist, who explained that as I was staying at the top of the hotel which is in an old building, it takes a while for the hot water to come through. Just something to consider if you are in a rush and don’t like cold showers.

The biggest advantage of Georgian House is its location, 6 minute walk to Victoria Station, close to many major attractions; yet it’s located on a quiet street, tucked away from the hustles and noise.
Another plus point is the staff are very friendly and attentive.

The biggest downside is no elevator and the single room is really small, the size of a camper van, even a petite woman has troubles moving around.

Lovely hotel, not far to walk from the tube. Staff were all friendly and room looked great. Compact bathroom but well appointed with a decent shower and decent toiletries.
My only issue was the bed. It was so uncomfortable that I hardly slept. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t stay again.

Georgian House was a quaint little hotel, that allowed us to quickly access many places. We are a family that doesn’t mind walking, and found the property to be a quick walk to Victoria Station, as well as several landmarks.

Our family of four stayed in a room on the third floor. There is no lift, and no air conditioning, but staff helped us with luggage and the room had several fans. We were aware this was a heritage building and did not have these amenities. The stairs were most challenging as it was a steep climb, but we figured it was a bit more exercise! Room was small, but clean, and our kids loved the view from above of our little street.

We opted to pay for the continental breakfast in our stay, and it was well worth it! The breakfast area was very cute, and the selection was more than enough for our family.

I would recommend this property for a stay in London!

We had a wonderful stay but were shocked that we were staying roughly a 5 minute walk away from the main hotel; further away from the tube station. Having known this, we may not have selected this hotel. The stairs were difficult to climb down everyday, especially with a baby and folded up stroller but our bags were brought down for us upon arrival. The staff were very helpful and the apartment was lovely and spacious!!

Me and my friend enjoyed our stay in the Wizard Chambers. We loved the attention to detail, from the decor to the wax sealed letter and the little pouch of wizard money. We were spoilt for choice for breakfast, with a choice from two menus. We both enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast along with a selection of other items including overnight oats, pastries and fruit.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff and the restaurant was really great! The Wizard rooms are super cute and they have DVD’s you can borrow to add to the experience!

Only minor complaint was some minor maintenance issues like the toilet paper holder which fell off the wall numerous times as it was missing a part. Not enough to downgrade our experience though! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel

Well located hotel and good value for money. Stayed in the Harry Potter room, kids loved it. Staff very friendly and accommodating, breakfast really good. Wizard coins great. Liked the way the children’s beds could be curtained off so they had their area. Only two negative points would be the sink in the bathroom was so small and in the wall, it was impossible to wash your face without getting water everywhere. The room was also a bit too dark.

The hotel is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. Unfortunately none of the 8 plug sockets in the room were placed in a practical position for the 30cm kettle lead so we were unable to have a hot drink. I also rang several days in advance to enquire about a breakfast bag as we had a very early appointment in the morning. The person who took my call didn't want my name or date of booking and assured me that it could be sorted when we checked in. It wasn't easy and we left the next morning without breakfast.
