At first at glance it was small but got used to it. They made my bed and new towels everyday. Liked they had 24 hour service. It was a great location for everything. It was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in bc the staff was so awesome. Especially the young gentleman who worked the night shift. He helped me out in two situations I had. I highly recommend this hotel and I probably staying there in the summer. It was a hidden gem in a beautiful safe neighbourhood. I love this hotel and the staff too!

The main issue was BED BUGs. My wife returned home with bites from neck to feet. Unacceptable! Well located hotel in nice area of London. It is low cost for the location. Room and bathroom were compact but functional for an overnight stop. The other issue was the room heating was far too hot.

I love the location but the facilities are old. Mattress was so old that i could feel the springs.they tried to give ne another room but i was too tired to move.all the nights i slepthorizontally on the feet side of the bed bec it did not cave in that much. I had a back ache. No oroblem w the staff, the facilities are old. Also i did not like that the hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are one and the same. No phone to contact front desk.

The price was great.

The staff was great, assisted us with our heavy 50 pound suitcases. The room need some minor fixes such as a toilet paper holder, decent shower curtain, a towel rack, perhaps a small shelf near the sink. The location was excellent, a short walk to Victoria Station.

They need to update their windows

The staff were very nice and helpful. They gave great directions any time we needed them to get to a location due to the tube (subway) strike. However the room was FREEZING. The windows are VERY thin. The wind made the rooms terribly cold. The heat inside the room wouldnt turn on. The room is very very small but sufficient for what i was there for. The bathroom was nice and clean. The hotel staff were very generous with towels. If you have a large suitcase room 105 is not for you. The steps are tight. The building is old so most of this is to be expected. However they need thicker glass on the windows. I came to london healthy and left with the worst sinus migraines ive ever had in my life. The photos for this hotel are literally exactly what youre getting a bed. And a small path to walk around thr bed. The bathroom is right at the foot of the bed. The bed is hard. Housekeeping did not change the sheets until the night it was time to go. They also dont knock or announce themselves before opening your room door. That was quite startling the first night. The key card has to stay in the wall in order for the lights in the room to work. Maybe thats a good thing for some. In order to not lose the room key. You need it or NOTHING will work inside the room. if you come from the states and forget your adapter to plug your things in. The ladies at ARGO were very nice. Its about a 5min walk from the colliers hotel.

I will never stay at this 'hotel' again and I suggest you avoid it too. There are nicer 'economy' alternatives in the same area.

Staffing and service was almost non-existent. One man behind a screen asking me to sign an electronic form. That was it.

They gave me Room 107, right behind the reception area. So, of course, I got all the noise and chatter from that area including the front door bell being rung at odd hours.

The 'room' was pared to the minimum. It was basically just a box the size of the bed that was in it. The 'en suite' bathroom I had been promised was the size of a broom cupboard and absurdly cramped.

I didn't complain because (a) it wouldn't have achieved anything and (b) I was only there for one night.

Terrible hotel. Go somewhere else.

Very basic accommodation, as expected for the budget price. My single room was absolutely tiny but quite well equipped. The pillow was hard and lumpy but was willingly changed for a new one on request. That end of Warwick Way is pretty quiet - in my room at the back it was so quiet it was hard to believe you were in central London.

Avoid that hotel!
One night I was in theatre for midnight performance and I came into hotel about 4 am. I opened with card the main door and I went into my room. But I was not able to open my door, now card didn't work. I no one was on the reception, but during check-in it was said, reception is covered 24 hours. I was not able to enter into my room at all! I called on two phone numbers which I found on the bussiness card, no one picked up phone. I sat on the reception maybe 2 hours, no one came into reception. I needed to use toilet, no toilet in the totel, except that in rooms. I went outside and when I wanted to open the main door, now I was not able to do it... I spent maybe 90 minutes in front of hotel, outside, like homeless. Finally receptionist appeared. He claimed, he had \"morning routine.\" When I explained him my concern, he did not apologize at all (!), just cut new card for opening door. He said, I kept hotel card close to my phone, but it is not true, plus firstly I was able to open the main door and about 1 munutes later I was not able to open my room, so that problem was not with my phone, but with hotel's key.

Brief stay .

Always stay here as a great location for Victoria. A basic hotel which suits our simple needs with helpful staff and an eagerness to please. We don't find the lack of free WiFi a problem as there are plenty of pubs around where I can connect there. Room 116 was compact but suited us as we only had 1 suitcase this trip. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful. We worked around the small challenge of the sink and shower being in the same area. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk too. Staff helped carry our suitcase upstairs to the 1st floor and down again. A very reasonable price to stay in this area.

Was by far the worst night I didn’t even get into the bed as it was all soo dirty, was a plastic bathroom like what would be found in a caravan, the towel was dirty and just thrown on the floor of the bathroom, there was no fan or ac so was roasting hot, don’t take kids as my room was top floor but the windows open all the way so kids would fall out, the bed was uncomfortable and when I left I was welcomed to an over weight foreign guy asleep across the office furniture

The hotel was clean and the staff welcoming. A short distance from Victoria station which suited us. And wonderfully quiet on the Thursday and Friday nights we stayed. On a lesser side, the quietness is due to it being off a bus route etc and although the area is safe with many cafes, those that are not comfortable with a 15 min walk would need a cab. also, the set up means that they are unable to offer breakfasts (which we would have liked) nor those unable to manage stairs.
We would use again.

Reception staff were brilliant & explained how the key card system worked. Room was clean & tidy. Handle was loose on the loo but it still worked. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Location, Location, Location. A perfect hotel for a single traveller wanting to see the sights of London.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street near Victoria Station and only a short journey to a vast array of London Attractions.

Unfortunately my trip coincided with an endless array of roadworks, closed roads and missing pavements and London will look alright once it is finally finished.

My hotel room was smaller than expected. The photos were a bit deceiving. There was barely room for one luggage in terms of opening it up to get our stuff. When it came to the restroom, that was extremely small. I sat on the toilet and was able to touch the sink and floor of the shower. When it came to cleanliness, I got an “icky” feeling and just didn’t feel comfortable. They also have cleaning supplies in the hall way like vacuums and clean towels.

I would not recommend this hotel during warmer weather as there was no proper air circulation. Also, no elevators which I don’t mind but carrying suitcases up steep stairs isn’t ideal.

Some pros: Staff was nice during check-in. Decent location with a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station which was nice as we took the Gatwick Express.

Very friendly and helpful when I arrived. The room was fine, a shoebox but clean, it was on the ground floor which makes me a bit uncomfortable as a woman and had to keep the window closed. The TV had a light that was flashing when it wasn't on which was a tad annoying but minor stuff. Good shower. Price was very affordable. Location great.

The area had a lot of lighting. I felt safe on the street going home at night. There were many other people walking around which also made me feel safe.
I would have liked a simpler TV. TV is important to me to unwind at the end of the day.
The step down from the bathroom/shower area is too high making it dangerous. That's such an easy fix.
I liked that the window could open for fresh air.

Eventhough I booked the room for 4 nights, I just stayed at the hotel for just 1 night the bathroom since in our room was super small almost same size as one in air planes. The hotel has no elevator so hard to carry big bags in our room on top floor. I will appreciate if you returm back my money for 3 nights I was really not expecting this kind of room. I booked another hotel from 18th Aug to 21st Aug 2024. The location is great if somebody don't mind the discomforts I have mentioned

Positives: Good location to Victoria. Friendly staff and quite enough.
Negatives: steep staircase, very small bedroom and even smaller toilet. It was the smallest I ever been, I could hardly move and I am petite! Only two small bath towels that smelled of foods. No hand towel provided. The taps on the sink are mixed up so the one marked with hot water is the cold water and vice versa.

The property is very basic and dated. Although expensive it was the lower end of properties locally so be prepared for the style, amenities and standard to reflect that.
TV didn't work, rooms very dated. Fire doors propped open.
I'd probably not stay again but was all that was available for the dates I needed to be close to the Royal Chelsea Hospital

The rooms was a bit on the small side and was incredibly warm but, it was very cheap for three nights, the bed was very comfy and the staff were friendly. Its in a great location for some sightseeing and underground stations. The housekeepers refreshed rooms to a high standard both afternoons.

Stayed 3 nights. Never again! Whoever was on reception one night was either on his phone or someone was outside and he was shouting, arguing and swearing for hours in the early hours of the morning. Me and my daughter were terrified. It was as if he was right outside the door. I almost called the police as he was very aggressive. VERY VERY unprofessional, rude and intimidating. Shameful place.

If you are looking for absolutely no frills, cheap, and pretty close to some attractions, this is fine. However, be aware that it is not the cleanest, there is no elevator, and it gets hot in the room! The bathroom of the room was tiny and you’re basically showering right on the sink and toilet, but again, I can’t complain because of the proximity to things and the price. You get what you pay for.
