Staff was helpful every day of our stay. We had to change rooms -- first was odiferous; second was noisy; but the third was just right. Nalid, Jake abd Bianca were stellar. The Grand Hotel side of the building is preferable to CQ rooms (the latter need updating). The A/C worked in each room during a mjor heat wave. The lounge was quiet and well-equipped with tea and coffees. The free water was a huge bonus as well. We loved our 9-day stay. We hope to return next year.

The room was basic, clean and roomy. We did not have a view. I was a little disappointed but honestly, we were constantly leaving to go see and do things in wonderful London. Carolina at the check in front desk was so kind and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage until our room was ready. Great restaurants were all around this hotel. Shops, museums, and historic places all around us. We are coming back and staying here again!

Positive: Great location in Trafaglar Square! Close to theaters and very walkable. The Coffe Room with good coffee service and comfortable sitting area was lovely. The water stations with refillable water bottles was a nice amenity! Breakfast was good, not great
Negatives: first got to hotel with our luggage and while staff saw us and said someone would help get them up the stars, nobody came. Front desk, while effecient, were not overtly friendly.
The hostess for breakfast was snooty and unfriendly…. Every day.
We were out in an “inside room” that was awful. Dark, depressing, cramped, and shower was dirty. Gratefully, the staff member switched us across the hall to a street facing room that was larger and brighter. Again, while helpful, not overtly friendly.
The bathrooms are very outdated, very tiny with almost zero counter space. In need for a major upgrade.
I know London is expensive however at $500/night this did not live up to 4 star hotel experience.

The hotel is well-located and kept in fairly good shape. I was surprised when I entered my room to find that someone had done a bowel movement in the toilet and it was left unflushed. That really soured me on the whole stay. Although I was meant to arrive in the afternoon, flight delays in Frankfurt meant I didn’t arrive until ~10 pm. I was surprised to find the hotel bar closing by the time I arrived. Who closes a hotel bar at 10 pm. Ridiculous. At that point, I determined not to eat or do anything but sleep at the hotel. It is, finally, overpriced.

Quiet room, comfy bed, liked the kitchenette. Opted out for breakfast and bought cereal etc. In the room. Location was amazing, right at Trafalgar Square and walking distance both west and east attractions and embankment tube station less than 5 minutes away. Lots of good food options and pubs within a few minutes walk. Did not visit hotel restaurant or lounge room so can’t comment on them.
Carpet in room was shedding a lot.
We enjoyed our time and would book again.

Nothing was too much trouble from the staff at the hotel. The location was fantastic , a short walk to Trafalgar Square and other landmarks. We were given some toiletries as they are located on each floor and a water station was also available with ice as well. Room was lovely and air conditioning was ok but could have been cooler ( although it was very very hot day/ night)
Would definitely come back again and recommend to others.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry wash seemed to malfunction time wise but hopefully it was just a glitch. However just one washing machine and one dryer is very Insufficient for the whole hotel. You have to be lucky to go when it's empty. You also have to rely on the person who has laundry in the wash coming on time to remove it.
A 4 star elegant well run hotel should have better and more convenient laundry facilities.

This was the 6th time we have stayed at this location. Compared to other hotels we have stayed at in London, the size of the rooms are very spacious. Be aware that this hotel only has showers, so if a bathtub is a \"must have\" this might not be the property for you. There are multiple places in the room to plug things in. The hotel provides a Nespresso machine instead of instant coffee that many of the other hotels provide and there is a small refrigerator. The location of this hotel is excellent for things like the National Gallery, theatres, Covent Garden and talking along the Thames. There are many bus routes that pass through Trafalgar Square, just a few steps away, and Charing Cross station and Embankment Tube are very close. One note is that rooms on the front side of the hotel may be impacted by some street noise. If you are a light sleep, you may want to ask about this. There is a restaurant and bar in the lobby and a pizzeria (that was open very late) is attached. There is also a nice lounge, behind the elevators, than many guests don't know they have access to. Coffee and tea for free all day!

Housekeeping service was excellent. Fantastic location. We could walk to most of the iconic sites. Wonderful lounge available with free coffee, tea, water. Each floor has a water station with empty plastic bottles you fill with cold water and reuse.

Unfortunately I was left a little disappointed with our stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location but that is the only thing to recommend. The reception/check in area is not what you'd expect at this price level, the reception desk is tiny and there's an obvious push to have guests use the self serve station.

The room, although large, is in serious need of renovation. The dark furniture is from another era and I cannot remember the last time I saw a desk with the media panel. All of the drawers in the bedroom furniture are filled with additional bedding which results in there being no where to store your own possessions and there is no in room safe present.

With such a large room, its a surprise that the bed is pushed so close to the window. Being a single glazed, old sash window it does nothing to keep out the cold and whoever sleeps in that side of the bed will wake up each night cold. The room heating is in a vent behind the bed so there is no way you can run that overnight. Once you've woken up cold its then difficult to return to sleep due to the in room fridge clicking and rattling.

The bathroom is also from a different era and reminds me how much I dislike shower curtains.

The quality of the bed linen, pillows and duvet is very good and the water stations in the corridor are a good idea but those positives are not enough to offset the negatives.

Perfect location to stay for everything we planned to do. It was our 8th trip to London and we have stayed in many locations and this hotel was great. The staff was attentive and friendly, the room was very clean, comfy bed. So walkable to many things and so close to a few different tube stops. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect. Close to a few tube stations. The free washer and dryer was so helpful. Didn’t even need to pack soap.
We really appreciated the ice machine and filtered water dispenser with provided refillable bottles.

Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent location with many public transit options. Room is clean.

Cons: Toilet got clogged one day, and I had to use the public toilet in that morning.
Bathroom is rather small with poor ventilation and no regular plugs.
Room layout is not ideal, and some places are not being effectively used. Bedside USB chargers are not working. I got a street-facing room where I often heard noises from street.
Gym is tiny with limited equipment. Elevators are tiny which sometimes cause long wait time.

PROS: Great location. Large, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Reusable water bottles and refill stations on each floor. Efficient room service. Coffee pot and snacks available in the room.
CONS: Bathroom was small and needs updating. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner was watered down. No refrigerator in the room. The lobby doesn't have any seating.

Overall, our stay was smooth. It's an old building, so yes, things are creaky and old. The staff was lovely. I would recommend it, if you're looking for convenient location with a value price.

The good:
- Excellent location to get to all major attractions walking or via tube. (tip - there is a bus that goes from outside the hotel to St. Pancras station. Easier that navigating multiple staircases on the tube with suitcases)
- Large rooms
- Two large lounges with workstations and lots of seating and one has a coffee/tea/latte machine
- A washer and dryer for guest use (one set and first come first serve but still handy)
- I had two maintenance requests which were addressed quickly
- Could cast from phone (Netflix) to TV

Areas for improvement:
- Furnishings and finishes are older and simple. If you are a 'Four Seasons' type, this isn't for you.
- Some may find the area too busy. There was a protest at Trafalgar Square during my stay which required some rerouting.

Overall I would stay again given the location and price.

The first room I was given had a window onto a dark shaft - the window did not close properly and was so drafty the curtains billowed out. Needless to say, I asked for another room and the staff were good about getting me a better room. The second room was very good. I did not try the pull out bed but it was fine to use as a couch. Linens and towels were fine. Bathroom was very good, shower worked very well. Kitchenette was rudimentary, microwave, tiny fridge, a kettle. Light over the sink did not work. The room was clean but needs a deep clean (like most hotels). Looking at the baseboards in the bedroom and the caulking in the bathroom revealed the need for a deeper clean.

The front lobby is beautiful- soaring ceilings, amazing marble floor and walks, but not a chair in sight.

One of the highlights of this hotel is their oak panelled living room, with stations for people to work on a laptop as well as a few tables and comfortable chairs and a couple of conversation areas. This room is set up tightly (close quarters) so you’re unlucky if there is someone holding forth doing a business meeting online or a loud group chatting who seem oblivious of the presence of others. Excellent coffee/espresso machine, teas and hot water are complimentary in this room. Access by key card to the living room.

The staff were polite, pleasant and accommodating. I would suggest laundry carts so the cleaning staff do not have to carry armfuls of soiled linens and towels down the halls.

We love this hotel and stay here every couple of months to enjoy the local nightlife. However on this occasion the reception staff were cold and very unfriendly. This took us by surprise as on all other stays the staff were fantastic.
All other parts of the stay were fantastic. The room was lovely and very clean. We will stay here again as all our other stays were great.

I stayed at Club Quarters Hotel, Trafalgar Square for three nights while visiting London. I appreciated the convenience of being able to check in and check out through the hotel’s app, which made the process quick and straightforward.

That said, the mobile key functionality could be improved. On several occasions, the elevator and room door sensors did not reliably detect the signal from my phone. This was slightly inconvenient, particularly when using the elevator, and may be something the hotel could look into refining.

The location is a major highlight. Situated right at Trafalgar Square, the hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the Tube station. Chinatown is easily accessible on foot, which was perfect for dining, and the nearby theatre district made it very convenient to attend musicals and evening performances. Overall, the excellent location greatly enhanced the stay.

There was alot of noise from work going on inside the hotel that was next to our room. The amenities in the bathroom were broken and not replaced and the telephone to reception and order room service was broken. We told reception they were not fixed or replaced. For the amount of money I was expecting a lovely experience especially as it was my birthday. However ive stayed in budget hotels that were better, im sorry to say. Very disappointed 😞

I stayed in this hotel for the week, and it was my first time in London, and I was also celebrating my birthday. Even though the hotel was not able to accommodate or upgrade my room, they surprised me with a sweet gift of a bottle of wine and sweets in my room with a Happy Birthday sign. I arrived early, and they were able to keep my luggage on hold while I roamed around the centre of London, and even after I departed, they kept an eye on my suitcase. The restaurant downstairs is really nice, and a pizza place is next door. The services and the club members' lounge were great, with a coffee machine that could make lattes and Starbucks-like drinks. The room was great for a solo or a couple; the washrooms are small, but it's perfect for those who are out all day in town and only come to their room to settle for the night or take a break from walking. Perfect for all parts of central London and close to two tube stations. Room service was great, daily cleaning, and they have a fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. Overall, I will be staying here again the next time I come to London.
