Internet was good. The bathroom wasn’t gross, but I also wouldn’t say it was very clean. Bed was hard, but the room was super quiet and comfy. You’ll be charged extra for everything you should get for free. Checking in early isn’t an option without a fee, nor is leaving your bags - without a fee.

Clean, affordable, cute but too small, only good for a quick weekend stay but not to stay long, they only clean the room every four days, no amenities, taking a shower was annoying, you can easily flood your bathroom/room. no tv but staff for friendly and always willing to help.

The location is absolutely fantastic. Steps away from the Piccadilly Circus Tube station, tons of restaurants nearby (including Chinatown), and even multiple grocery store options. The Cocoon room was perfect for a solo traveler trying to adjust to the time zone. There was no city noise, despite being in a very busy area. I didn't like that there was an extra fee (£40) to check in early and a fee to hold onto your bags (£15) if you want to explore while waiting for check in time. Also, check out at 10am is a little ridiculous. All the staff that I interacted with were lovely and very helpful when I needed to ask for towels, etc.

Very clean room, staff were friendly. Location of the hotel was truly amazing and stood out! Everything was in walking distance, and it was quite close to the metro stations and the bus stops. The rooms were 100% sound proof, as well. They also had a security guard at night at the hotel entrance to ensure each guest who enters has a key card, prioritizing safety.

The photos do make the rooms look slightly larger than they actually are, which was fine with us since we didn’t spend much time in there aside from sleeping. We were in a room without windows, so it was very very dark when the lights were off. This just made it slightly difficult to wake up since we did not see the sun. However, since we did not have a window, we did not hear any traffic, which was great! Also, there is no safe in the room to lock away any valuables, or any glassware to drink water from. These are just observations, not negative feedback!

My only negative feedback is very minimal and barely affected our visit. They do not provide hairdryers, which would’ve been very useful to have. It also would be nice to have a second luggage rack to set a second suitcase on, as well as just more storage in the room in general. Lastly, the room we selected did not have any seating other than the bed and floor.

Overall, lovely hotel. Very safe, clean, and accessible.

Excellent location. Beware of extras. Early book in is £45 before 15:00 and it’s £15 per bag if you want to leave them there. They are prepared to haggle 2 bags left for the price of one which made it a bit more annoying. Rooms were quiet and clean and toilet and shower also good and clean. Couldn’t be a better location for theaters good value too.

It would be for people on a budget. The rooms really were soundproof except for the hall traffic. We hardly heard anything.

Terrible rooms floor plan and design at arrival greeted by employees who said he was going to help us out and help check in early offered us and upgrade to a room we excepted gladly and was told to wait to make sure that our new room was cleaned and ready to once we got the the new room that could’ve doubled as a hospital suit which was very much of a downgrade from the room we purchased we went back to the lobby were told that nothing could be done not even give us the room we originally ordered and paid for after some back and forth and asking for a refund so we could take our business elsewhere at that point the room that we booked suddenly became available the place have no actual beds just twin mattresses on the floor no chairs some rooms no shower just shower curtains I was in London visiting family and friends and I wouldn’t stay and that hotel if I was paid to much less ever pay them again to
Stay there in all the moving of room I left a pair of black Versace shades to were I was told that no one had seen that at any point this review is a warning for all people traveling to London it is much cheaper to
Stay anywhere else that opportunity that people who own that place need to be fired the place closed and set on fire they shouldn’t be allowed to operate and lie to there guests at every turn there isn’t a fridge microwave or a chair in the whole hotel the zedwell is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and i do not recommend anyone every stay there say no to zedwell

Worst hotel ever. Amenities locking, room was like Arctic cold, my partner got sick after that. Those attendants outside and their manager could not be bothered about things i.e. our hotel room temperature. They were very inattentive, lack hospitality and were rude. The only good thing was their location. Hotel is actually earning so much money every day but they can’t even invest in proper amenities and staff training. Such a shame.

Stylish reception lobby with plenty of screens for booking in/out and helpful staff who answered any quires we had. Stayed in a twin room with clean comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom with towels and toiletries. Only thing I’d recommend is for a small shelf near to the bed for somewhere to place your phone while charging.

Love this place. So close to all of the West End theaters and many other notable places to visit in London.

It's definitely on the no-frills side, so if in-room tv, telephone and high levels of customer service are your thing - this isn't the place for you.

But if location is what your travel is all about, this is definitely the place for you.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice (the little staff you were able to track down) The room is a bit odd as there is no place to put your belongings (no drawers, no table, nothing) which makes things a bit difficult. When the lights go out, it is pitch dark, making it hard to see if you need to get up for any reason. There was hardly any soap or shampoo and the staff would always take our towels and not leave clean ones (odd) so we would have to request new ones every day. Same goes for toilet paper. It is a nice hotel but know you will need to work a bit for things that you never thought you’d have to before. Location wise, it’s fantastic.

Room was as advertised, clean and very quiet.
Would highly recommend and would book again. We are also upgraded from a cocoon 2 to a cocoon 8 which was nice, albeit slightly confusing as I then thought the hotel was a hostel.
The only thing that let it down (hence 4 stars) was check in.
No check in desk, only tablets. In general, not a problem, but here was a lag in the screen touch so took numerous attempts to input details. As I booked thru Expedia, I have the confirmation code from them, which isn’t the Zedwell confirmation code, so needed assistance.
Check out was however seamless.
Check in prevented this being a 5 start review.

The room itself was nice. Bed comfy and we slept well. However, there was the most awful smell constantly coming from the drainage system. It’s my first holiday solo with my child and didn’t really want to complain. We never once had our bed made and our bin was emptied once. We also went to the vending machine to get a drink which cost £3.50!
All staff seemed friendly and I’m sure if I complained this would have been sorted

First room we were put in was filthy, asked to be moved rooms and luckily got a hold of the manager who couldn’t be more apologetic and helpful, managed to get another room but to be honest this one still wasn’t “clean” it was cleaner but still not what I would describe as clean. The hotel itself is in a really good location but the “sound proof cocoons” is a lie, could hear a conversation from the room beside us. If you get a good deal then this hotel is definitely worth it for the location but I’m glad we didn’t pay more than £60 a night average.
