Great for shops, but the basics- a bed and a bathroom and a hairdryer, towels and all in one wash.

Room was great, we were upgraded on arrival so our room had a window.
The room was clean and spacious, with a wet room, which was very welcome as we have mobility issues. Emergency cord within easy reach I was impressed.
The breakfast was good but the view was spectacular.
I thoroughly recommend it if you need to be close to Chinatown and Westend theatre.

This is a barebones hotel but we have limited travel experience in Europe so it might be the standard hotel. The location is awesome!! Lots of restaurants, shopping, access to the bus or Tube and tourists attractions within walking distance. The room itself had a comfortable bed, confusing lighting system and a nice shower. There was no safe in the room to lock up valuables, no TV, no coffee, no chair/desk. These items are standard in the US but again we have limited experience with Europe travel (just getting started). They had just enough towels - 2 bath, 1 hand and one for the floor when existing the shower. They did not have a breakfast or computer area onsite. But again lots of restaurants within walking distance so the breakfast onsite was not horrible. I’ll admit we might be spoiled Americans as we’ve travel all 50 states in the US and the hotels all had standard -safe, in room coffee/tea, chairs/desk for relaxing after a long day playing tourist & onsite food options for that late night snack.
Overall this hotel was good - friendly staff & great location!

Title: Great location with spacious and clean rooms

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the heating was very efficient, which made the stay very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the room size—the room with a window was very spacious.

Overall, the entire room was very clean. > A few things to note for future guests:

I stayed on the 1st floor and could hear some subway noise and vibrations.

There is no desk or table inside the room.

A hair dryer is provided, but no toothbrush or toothpaste, so remember to bring your own toiletries.

A solid choice if you prioritize cleanliness and a central location!

We arrived early, helpfully staff allowed us to check in which meant we could leave bags this was helpful.
By the time we returned to our room much later to shower and sleep the shower and sink tap made terrible noises and the sink did not drain the water.
The bed was cold as the very thin quilt did not suffice, the heating did not work and the pillows lumpy.
Only one USB charger worked one switch above the heater I think for lights was broken all of this was too late to report at night.
The reception is dark and they usually just stay hidden say behind a wall so not really approachable.
The bed headboard was stained it all felt very grimy and unpleasant.
When I booked I made a request for vegetarian breakfast. At breakfast was informed there was no veggie sausage or equivalent.
That said the restaurant has a nice view on level 10.
There was a lack of shelves, hanging places and the non-opening window was dirty!
It’s in an excellent location but having experienced the assembly I won’t be going again!
It has to be mentioned but the decor is almost unbelievable with a giant plastic pink rabbit in the corner of the room adorned with a leather padlocked choker…

Truly above and beyond customer service. We showed up 4 hours early after not sleeping all night on our flight, just hoping to leave our bags, and Adam said since he had a room available he’d gladly just check us in. Room was great, location fantastic. Any questions we had throughout our stay were met with kindness. No issues whatsoever! Highly recommend!

LOCATION - Central to everything - 2mins to Trafalgar square, 7mins to big ben/the london eye (Fantastic for New Years Eve for Blue zone entrance 2), in Leicester square
Theres loads of food/drinks places nearby
Tube station 1min walk - Picadilly line (Navy blue)

Location was 10/10! Could not pick a more central location that is so close to the tube. Room was adequate for a solo person (I got the “cozy w/ extra space”). The hotel really is meant to be a place for just sleeping. There is no real lobby (there’s an employee/kiosk when you walk in), and the rooms don’t have any seating besides the bed (no desk/chair even though there was space). It is definitely a basic, no frills hotel, but it was clean and simple and did the job for me as a solo traveler. Only downsides I experienced were that 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service the entire week I was there and the lack of storage in the room (particularly in the shower and by the sink) made getting ready inconvenient. All that said, I would stay here again for the overall value and location.

one of 2 elevators broken, have been for months, you'll regularly wait 15 minutes to get downstairs if you are unlucky enough to be on the top floors. shower pressure is rubbish, beds are tiny. mould on the bathroom tiles. everything even smaller than it looks on a photograph.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were amazingly quiet despite being located in a very populated area and right outside of the tube station. It’s incredibly close to amenities, with tons of restaurants nearby, as well as the Leicester Square tube station. From the airport we took just one tube that stopped directly at the hotel and it only took 45mins. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Also bigger than I thought (we had a basic room with window).

Staff lovely and helpful answering all the questions we had. Room small and we didn’t go for the smallest option! It was regularly cleaned with an option to not have it cleaned with money instead put to homeless charity which I thought was lovely. Breakfast from rooftop restaurant was lovely served by pleasant staff. The entrance could do with a touch up and only one lift working which when on 8th floor is a must so had to wait longer.

The Assembly has a very small frontage leading to rooms up to the 9th floor. Reception is also small so could get very crowded. There are 2 lifts but 1 was out of action so when people were queuing for the lift, chaos ensued.
Our room was small and there was no television.One corner was occupied by a large plastic rabbit (really!) The bed was comfortable and aircon worked well. Bathroom was in good condition.
The location is excellent, a stones throw from Leicester Square tube and almost opposite the Wyndham theatre.
Would stay again (but a TV would be nice).

Room was small, which we knew in advance and is common in london. But really disappointed there were no facilities to make a drink in the room...and no tv. You dont come to london to watch tv, I know - but after a long day sightseeing, you wanna have an hour in your room with a cuppa! I think that is something that shpuld be in a hotel room.

It is listed as a cozy single until it's booked then described as cozy - windowless. The booking should be more transparent as we would not have booked this for 5 nights. Convenient location and room was adequate and clean. We had problems with the lights, though (which I read afterwards others had had, too). The light switch by the bed didn’t seem to control all the lights and when I turned on the light on my side of the bed it turned others on, too. So it was either all off or all on. It was also not clear where the ‘night light’ of the bathroom was.
We liked the roof terrace, where we had a drink on the night we stayed and had breakfast the next morning.
We had not booked breakfast but we asked if we could decide on the day and they said yes. What they didn’t say then is that it costs more on the day vs booking in advance - £22.50! For a buffet breakfast. There wasn’t even that much to choose from and some of it was cold. Rip off. I suppose you pay for the location and view (?)
