We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Leicester Square, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was incredibly polite, warm, and genuinely eager to help—nothing was ever too much trouble.

A special thank you to Ibrahim, who went above and beyond with thoughtful extra touches that made my wife’s birthday feel truly special. Those little details made a huge difference and turned a great stay into an unforgettable one.

The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located right in the heart of London, yet still feels like a calm retreat from the buzz outside. The level of service throughout was outstanding and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

We’ll absolutely be returning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Indigo Leicester Square to anyone looking for exceptional service and a memorable stay.

Welcome on arrival very good, on check in receptionist asked if we wanted breakfast at £24 each, we said we would think about it. Receptionist said, we could have complimentary breakfast which was amazing, only problem when we went to breakfast the next morning we were told we had to pay as receptionist hadn’t authorised it.

The staff are amazing. We spent new year on the 9th floor. Rhe view was incredible of the fireworks . Our food, \"finger food\" was pasta, which we had 1 small bowl, it was good but never came around again with the pasta.. They did come around several times with sea bass. I don't eat seafood. Other than that, which i was expecting more, new year party was great

This hotel is the perfect location for exploring London. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was a good size. Overall, perfect for a short break.
My only negative was I came alone with a buggy and luggage. The accessible entrance didn’t work and I pressed the button and waited but no one came to help.
The female staff were more helpful than the male member of staff on reception. He didn’t even offer to help with my luggage and buggy when I was leaving. He would be standing there and didn’t ever think to open the
Door to help me bring the buggy in and he’d just watch me struggle.
I wish I got the name of the member of staff who checked me in, she was lovely and very helpful. She was great!

Loved the Gatsby/Art Deco inspired vibe. The room was beautiful- very big with a great sitting area - the bathroom was luxurious. I would recommend the view from the rooftop bar looking out over the Christmas ice rink in Leicester Square - it's also very well located

The room was okay for the price only when compared to the prices of other hotel rooms in London. But on a world wide scale, compared to other major cities, it is highway robbery. But what's more of a letdown is the dingy hallway and the absolute horror show of the check-in lobby. It is by far the worst hotel lobby I have ever seen. Don't get fooled by photos of the bar. The lobby looks like a seedy 42nd Street hotel from the 1980's! Never again!

Very thin walls and ceiling. I can hear the footsteps from the room above. Kept me awake whole night. The lift was rickety and tiny. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area hence getting a taxi will be challenging. There is a short flight of staircase leading to the hotel, not sure how accessible that is for someone on a wheelchair.

While not terrible, I just felt like the Indigo just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The room condition was a bit subpar. Noisy wooden floors that were in pretty rough shape and a really dirty area rug under the bed. No closed closet, just a hanging rack. It served the purpose but I would have preferred storing clothes and luggage out of sight. No shower door - only a half-glass wall so water does end up in the vanity area which was pretty annoying. I had a balcony room with no chairs or small table on the balcony - zero furnishings. Basically, you can go stand out there and look around but don’t get too comfortable. Balcony door is ridiculously heavy to open/close. Drapes didn’t close all the way to provide true blackout. While the bed felt way too hard upon first trying it, I have to say that I slept excellent every night. Pillows were also quite good. All staff I encountered, especially the front desk team, were very friendly and helpful. Great central location for exploring the city, albeit a bit too busy/noisy for my liking - I was surprised to see how busy Leicester Square gets. All in all, certainly not a terrible stay but just not quite enough to re-book. I’ll try something else out when next in London.

It’s almost good… but disappointing in many ways. The rooms are quite basic for the money and didn’t smell fresh. Elevators are a nightmare and takes forever to get to your floor. On the plus side, the AC is excellent and the bathrooms are lovely.

Get ready for zero privacy. The wall to the bathroom is etched glass backlit so you can see anyone using the toilet. It's so strange. The shower has a half glass door wall so the whole bathroom gets soaked when you shower. Plus, there is no vent in the WC. There are no sheets on the bed, it's just the comforter. There were stains on the cover, on the walls, and on the carpet. The curtains do not fit the windows, so be ready to be up at dawn. The room is small and strangely arranged so it was hard to move around. The location was great, but for the price it was absolutely not worth it. We won't be back.

Wouldn’t stay again…

Tried to call a few days before arriving after reading a review about glass, see through walls to the bathroom meaning you could see another person using the shower or even the toilet.
This was proven very difficult, was cut off 4 times whilst the person ‘went to find out’, spoke to customer relations in the end who also couldn’t get through to get an answer either.
On check in, the process was very slow and not very friendly.
Our room was relatively small, despite a free upgrade apparently, but this is quite normal for a London Hotel.
The room had a great view of Leicester Square and was in a fab location.
Our understanding was the breakfast was £30 per person so we didn’t eat that here when there are so many food outlets surrounding you from McDonald’s, Wetherspoons and many other choices depending on what you fancy.
The lunch/dinner menu was very limited so again we decided to eat out.
My husband was running in the London Marathon, I met him back at the hotel when he finished and whilst I was waiting and on the phone housekeeping came to see if I wanted the room serviced, I said I didn’t and they then lectured me that I should’ve left the do not disturb sign on the door outside - why?
One side stated do not disturb having 40 winks and the other stated please service the room - one would assume rightly or wrongly that no sign means just ignore being that I wasn’t sleeping or needing the room services.

Amazing hotel in a central location.

Check in was flexible, our room was ready at 12.30pm and reception said we could check in early and gave a complimentary upgrade to a square view premium room. The room was great and the bedding good quality. Roof terrace adds a lovely touch with its view of the city. Location was perfect for what we wanted to do.

Oversold Rooms!

I went to check in after booking over a week prior and being paid in full to be told there was no rooms left. I was rold there was a room for me in their sister Hotel around the corner. Which was not a IHG Hotel!
I paid best part of £200. The hotel i was sent to i usually around 20% cheaper for the same stays but not refund offered.
The Hotel i was sent to? victory house was shocking. The quality was poor and staff not nice. The entire hotel just felt seedy.
Trip was completely ruined.

The hotel was great. Very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. We were able to leave our bags before and after checkout free of charge. Complimentary WiFi was very fast. Tea and coffee was good and everything looks neat and new, working perfectly.
We had a very spacious room on the first floor. The view from the huge long window was brilliant for people watching in Leicester Square. However like most places in London it can get noisy into the night. It didn’t bother us too much but if you can get a higher floor it’s probably quieter.

The hotel was lovely and the view from the top was amazing. Really enjoyed the stay. However, the breakfast was disappointing - cold plates and very little bread for toast - with a very slower toaster! The breakfast wasn’t worth what we paid. We would definitely recommend the hotel and its location for the theatres. We come again.

Small rooms but it’s central London… the rooftop bar was going to be incredible for New Years fireworks but alas, it was booked out to a private party. Wish I’d known before I spent $600 on the room. We made our way down to the Thames amongst 800,000 people.

The biggest concern I had was the feeling that the lifts were unsafe. I cant believe management has used these lifts that shake as though they are about to stop mid floors. There was much I liked about the hotel but this would be serious enough for me not to return. I would also add that I felt there was a lack of security on controlling who came into the hotel

The hotel reception and lobby areas outside the room smelled musty and had some odor. The elevators were very slow and would rattle badly, and should be better maintained. One went out temporarily. 9 floor hotel means this is an inconvenience.
The liquid soap smelled foul. Room was super small for the price making it hard to clean the floor. The carpet under the bed was dirty.
The view from the room was nice. But no way to enjoy it given how cramped the room was.
Bathroom was modern and nice.

Great room with a view. Clean and newer inside. This property is right in the middle of everything. You can grab a taxi, or the hop on hop off bus right there. Great pub right next door. The rooftop restaurant is perfect for a quiet dinner with a view. It's a 10 minute walk to Buckingham Palace.

Cute, but tiny. And so much stuff was broken or just didn’t work right. Gave us a makeup mirror, but the light didn’t work. Gave us a mini fridge but it was room temp and still room temp after they “fixed it”. Bed only had a duvet and no sheet. It’s end of August so that’s just to hot and the a/c couldn’t compensate. Spent every night alternating between shivering and sweating. But it was clean and the staff weee friendly. Ambiance is nice and bed was comfortable, but just needed an extra sheet

We had a nice stay but a few things...the staff needs training on service. Just quite a few \"no\" answers and \"I don't know\" etc. The bed was small for us, a double...that's what we booked so there's that. No ice available. The area is very lively, kind of like Times Square. Dining options are limited in London late which surprised me. Just seems like more of a 3 or 3.5 star hotel.

Fantastic stay for our anniversary. Upgraded from premium to balcony room, comp drinks & breakfast. Amazingly generous and helpful staff made our visit memorable. If you can stay in the balcony rooms it is worth it. Breakfast exceeded expectations, variety, service and gluten free options. Only negative would be drinks were a bit overpriced in the bar, particularly a bottle of beer. Thanks to the hotel for a fantastic stay. 5*

Shocking treatment of a lone female

Arrived very late (after midnight). But I knew this would be the case so pre-paid for the room to secure it. Upon arrival I was told the room had been sold to someone else - which would be understandable if the room was only reserved and not paid for. But I paid for it at the point of booking. The man on reception casually said there were no other rooms and just shrugged when I explained I was now a lone female stuck in London at midnight without anywhere to stay. I provided a phone number when booking - they should have called to explain that the room would be sold to someone else. I spent an hour sat in the cold on a bench in Leicester Square at 1am, trying to call every hotel in London to get a room. No success. Ended up getting an Uber back to Bristol as I had no choice (which cost over £250). The rather rude hotel receptionist very clearly didn’t care and just kept saying: “this is our policy”. Maybe I’m being unreasonable but it was my expectation that if you’ve paid for something - it shouldn’t be sold to someone else without checking first.

A hidden gem. Our room is spacious and well appointed and more importantly, quiet! Overlooking Leicester Square it’s incredibly convenient. You can’t get more central London if you tried.
