Ham Yard Hotel is close to everything and everywhere you want to be for a London vacation! Fun and classy vibe, not pretentious, the staff is amazing! Warm, inviting, helpful….perfect! The hotel smells magnificent, gym is great and 4th fl terrace is a great place to land after a long day of walking!! This is now the only hotel I’ll stay at, both personally and professionally!

One of the best hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. We were there for a 6 night stay and we will definitely be coming back, the staff was so attentive to our needs. Everything was kept perfectly need and stocked throughout our stay. I ordered tea with room service half way through our stay and the staff kept a tea service in our room with a kettle for the rest of our stay. It was so thoughtful! They also left nice hand written notes and small treats (lotion, sweets etc) throughout. The water pressure in the shower was so great as well as the shampoo and body wash. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and their incredible standards.

I’ve always been of the opinion that the very best hotels in the world make you feel welcome on arrival, at home during your stay and valued when you leave. The Ham Yard hotel absolutely nailed all three and invariably gave us the very best stay we have ever enjoyed from any hotel in the world. My wife and children were equally wowed by the friendly staff and superb service and our room was beautiful. We really didn’t want to leave and are already olanning a return in the future to this exceptional establishment.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! If you are looking for an upscale, trendy hotel in a wonderful location, this is your spot. The service is impeccable, from small details like milk and cookies left for our daughter to the concierge returning our call at midnight. The restaurant, grounds and hotel are well taken care of with carefully curative artsy design details. Gorgeous, spacious rooms that make you forget you’re so close to a bustling city. The hotel is nestled away in a quiet corner of a hip area. Very walkable to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We felt extremely welcomed with our daughter but my husband and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy an adults trip soon!

Heavenly weekend at the Ham Yard!

Amazing stay from start to finish. I was there for three nights to celebrate my birthday and also the 90th birthday of my Great Aunt.

All the family met up over the weekend and the staff were so helpful and friendly to us all.

They made a real fuss of my Aunt and she loved everything about her room and all the public rooms in the hotel.

Very busy bar and restaurant but there was always a room to sit in if you wanted a bit of quiet.

Honesty bars a great idea in the library and drawing room but you could also call for service.

Large and luxurious room I really did not want to leave.

All I have to say is WOW! This is by far and away one of the absolute BEST hotel stays I have ever had! First, the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is stunningly perfected and so incredibly creative. The cleanliness of the hotel is so on point its mind-blowing. Not a scratch, a dent, a stain... NOTHING takes away from its esthetic. That's the other thing... it smells like you are stepping into a spa. The scent of the hotel is so delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and I would like to be any of their friends! Room service is was on point, quick and yummy! Also, the coffee drinks at the hotel are sooooo good and come to you looking so beautiful you can't help but want to take a pic for the gram. I'm so picky and grossed out when it comes to hotels but I can tell you with certainty... this place is without a doubt THE BEST! I now only want to stay at Firmdale hotels!!!!

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. We had arrived with young children and staff were very accommodating including making sure bedding and kid friendly kits sent ahead. For the adults, bottle of champagne on check in. Relaxing vibe despite the busy crowds at night - could (mostly) hear a pin drop once you're in your suite. I travel quite a bit internationally and this is easily one of the favorite hotels period.

LOVED the Ham Yard!

Ham Yard was a 10! When we arrived they gave us a lovely room but it looked to the building next door which was under renovation. They kindly switched our room to a higher floor with a courtyard view which was much better. The decor and vibe of the hotel was fantastic as well as the staff. Don’t miss the roof top garden bar. Rare to see in the middle of London.

Last minute bank holiday weekend trip so decided to treat the wife and what a treat it was. Hotel was stunning, I have been before for lunch but never stayed. Cant realy get more central to the west end and everything you need is on your door step. Will definately be staying again.

Fantastic and really relaxing- we arrived early as we were going to theatre, but we were able to check in to our room and the receptionist informed us we had been upgraded. It was a fantastic room, very quiet and spacious with a huge bed- we also had a bottle of champagne as a gift in our room- for a relaxing weekend city break this was perfect!!!

However for the price paid I’d have expected a television in the room that didn’t have a consistently poor/intermittent signal and would also have hoped for a kettle with coffee and tea making facilities - surprisingly absent despite the very well stocked mini-bar.

PHENOMENAL. That is really the best way to describe our stay at this beautiful hotel. Beyond it's beautiful decor and close attention to detail, the service and hospitality was top notch. We enjoyed spending time on the hotel grounds, and wish we would have had a chance to visit the spa and eat at the restaurants. I highly recommend taking advantage of all the hotel has to offer- I will make sure to do so when I return.

On a more detailed note- my brother was sick during our stay, and the hotel went out of their way to make sure he was ok and had everything he needed. Everyone from the concierge, to the doormen and restaurant staff were personable and friendly.

My only con (if I had to come up with one) is that the hotel rooms did not have automatic curtains or blinds, they had to be wound by hand, which was only hard because they are so heavy.

Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Fun decor, serious hospitality!

This was our second stay at a Firmdale hotel and once again we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable and the hotel and amenities are fantastic - a nicely sized room with very comfortable bed, lighted closets, large bathroom with soaking tub and a separate forceful shower. The stylish and whimsical art and decor add a fun vibe (not to mention the bowling alley - we'd like to come back and have a party!) We also enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and later a late-night snack in the restaurant (which is quite popular as a night-life point, it turns out!) Close to all the theatres, lots of shopping, historical sites, and very central for easy access to neighborhoods all over London. Perfect!

Arrived from a red eye and the staff was so helpful in handling our early arrival. Could not have asked for better service. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and have great decor. Bathroom was a dream - good water pressure, clean and spacious. Room service was exceptionally fast. New go to spot to stay in London!

Home away from Home !

We have stayed at almost all Firmdale Hotels in UK and US. Ham Yard is one of our favourites .
The place, atmosphere, rooms and service is fantastic. You always have the feeling you are the first to stay in a room. They are spotless!!!. This weekend we stayed with our son and daughter in law who was getting married. The Hotel gave us nice rooms and when they realised this was a wedding they send a small weeding cake and Champagne up to the room and in the evening flower decoration.
In the evening you have a very nice vibe in the bar and common areas. The quality of the restaurant in Ham Yard is slightly lower than the rest of the Hotel. Decoration and service is fantastic.
We are staying at a Firmdale next time in London.

Excellent at creating top quality experience - customer service focused. Excellent in every way - food, decor, comfort, loyalty to returning customers. We came for one night and celebrated our anniversary and daughter's birthday in the restaurant for dinner. Staff was discreet about it but made sure the evening was special for all of us.

Great location design and rooms...

Only negative is we arrived early before hrckin and were told our room would be ready in a hour so we had lunch at the hotel restaurant and waited... we went back to check-in and were told to wait another half an hour which we did and then were told to wait again... it is ok to not have the room available prior to guaranteed check in by don't make people waster 3 hours sitting around waiting for a room... don't waste people's time...

Stunning hotel

Hotel is centrally located in the heart of the capital yet offers a peaceful and relaxing environment. A beautiful place to stay in London. Have stayed in many London hotels and this is the best one, would not hesitate to recommend. Will definitely visit again.
The in house bowling alley is quirky and fun for family and friends and rooftop garden lovely for a leisurely drink although it is not open to non residents.

Great boutique hotel near Piccadilly Circus.

Second time I have stayed at this hotel. I did think the staff was a little lacking in the restaurant. Hard to get served. Also made a mistake on the hotel bill which became a bit of a back and forth. Beautiful art. Worth going down to the bowling alley!

Stylish hotel with a high price tag

Impressive hotel but the high end decorations could not make up for no coffee /tea machine in a room. The restaurant staff had bad attitudes and they didn't say sorry for missing our order. The staff wouldn't even greet us at the entry doors. The bowling alley and movie theater were all taken by a private party, so there was no chance for us to use them!
A beautiful hotel with 3 star service ... sad... it could've been better with more attention to detail.
