All the stuff at this property were extremely nice and the manager Arnold went above and beyond everybody was kind the hotel is beautiful. The only downside was the bathroom. I had to put my toiletries on the floor as there’s no shelves and the sink is too small to put anything down on the room. Could also use a closet or some drawer space. In spite of this, the staff was great and the location was awesome and I would stay there again.

Booked a stay there and within minutes needed to modify it and received ZERO help. Have stayed at over 10 Moxy hotels in past and still got less than pathetic support. I will never stay at a Moxy or use Expedia ever again.

Hotel was well decorated and clean. Room was well furnished and also clean. Stayed 3 days, no hot water in the entire building at all the entire second day - staff very unhelpful, could not offer alternative place to shower, could not offer partial refund or other compensation.

In addition, £38 for a double gin&tonic and a 330ml Kopparberg at the bar. The bar is very pretty but prices are insane, even for London.

We stayed for one night. The location was great, we were a bit early but would have to pay £30 extra for early check-in so just left our bags instead for no charge. My son and husband needed to change into suits so just used the hotel toilets instead which are very nice.
It's self check in which was relatively easy but there was staff on hand to help and gave us directions to our rooms. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, for some reason they had huge bathrooms which are nice but it just seemed like the space would have been better used to make the bedroom a big bigger with more storage.
Over all though it's a good hotel in a great location with very friendly helpful staff, so all good .

Lovely hotel in great location for Theatres. Hotel is very modern and room was small but functional. We had basic room which was fine for a night or 2. Would not be suitable if you had mobility issues as you have to climb over one another to get into bed. Tea and coffee facilities are in rooms, hair dryer and lovely toiletries. Was beautifully clean. Hotel is a bit quirky but I would definitely stay here again

Overall, our stay at the moxy was a good experience.

Positives:
The hotel is centrally located - it is right next to transit and many things are within walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They assisted us with check in, carrying bags, and getting answer ring questions. Check in was fast and painless, since everything can be done on your own using the kiosk/tablets. The hotel itself was nice and the rooms were clean and modern.

Negatives:
The bathroom - while the size of the bathroom is normal, there is no actual counter or other space to store your items. The shower door opens inward, which is quite awkward.

The hallways had very thick carpet, which was difficult to roll suitcases through.

Overall review: 4/5.
No major downsides, and the staff really helped make our experience a positive one. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting London.

The property was conveniently located and walking distance to restaurants, shopping and theaters. We were able to catch hop on off bus easily and able to grab a quick cab ride to a tour we booked through Viator at Kensington palace. Some of the cons of the Moxy not a lot of staff on hand. It’s self check in and check out. No elevator, using an escalator with luggage difficult. Although rooms clean double bed is a bunk and high using ladder to climb which can be difficult if older. The room also had a dangerous step down that I missed a tripped several times and the shower adjacent to the toilet was also a hazard and hit my head on several times. We were asked to move out of our room and had a half hour to do so due to some sort of a leak without warning or assistance or luggage cart. Although clean and conveniently located not sure I would go back.

Check-in and check-out was self service and very easy. There was a staff member to assist if needed. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and friendly.
The complimentary drink is a nice touch, but it's a very, very sweet fruit punch that we didn't like, due to it being so sweet.

We had a loft room that is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom/shower was great with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
The smart TV has several channels and you can login to Netflix with your own account if you want. There's a SMEG coffee machine and coffee capsules, which were lovely to have in the morning. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on it.

The biggest issue however is that the single day bed is so, so hard to sleep on that I may as well have slept on the floor. My friend said the double bed was comfortable. As a suggestion, the day bed would be perfect if a memory foam topper or similar is placed on the day bed when it's being made up.

Overall, The Moxy is located well, it was a good price. I would recommend here and would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The lifts were broke during the stay so that was a nightmare. The room we were in had no windows which we knew, but it was not nice I hated it. The bed underneath the double bed should not of been called a bed it was rock hard plastic covering for a couch area. There was no stool in the room to sit on to even put makeup on. Ive never stayed in room with no windows and I will not do it again! I felt like an Amazon parcel! 😂.
I didn't have the breakfast as we couldn't wait to get out and get fresh air. I would stay again but with a room with a window.

I checked in and was given the wrong room. The staff quickly dealt with the issue. However, it was on the 7th Floor, which was still being fitted out. My room was completed but there were a few snags, including the bathroom door not being hung properly, so it didn't open properly.

Only negative:
The lifts were not all working (2 out of 4) - which means often long waits for the lift and a lift stopping at every floor once managed to get into one!

Fantastic stay with great new rooms—just a bit dusty!

What I liked:

I’m a huge fan of Moxy hotels, and this stay reminded me why. The location is unbeatable and that long escalator entrance is such a cool, modern touch. I stayed on the 7th floor in a Queen room, which was surprisingly large and felt brand new. It’s clear they are doing a great job with the expansion of the hotel. Also, a huge shoutout to the check-in staff—they were absolutely amazing and made the process so easy!

What could be improved?

My only issue was the construction currently happening on the 7th floor. Because they are building more rooms, there was a lot of dust in the air. Without much airflow to clear it out, it did trigger my allergies during the night. Once the construction is finished and the air is clear, this place will be 10/10.

Room isn’t designed for women. Plugs are no where near mirrors and bathroom space is very limited. The elevator was out for 3 days and the escalator was shut down for a day. Bathroom Fan didn’t work and no one came to fix it after we inquired. Bare bone room.

Hotel is new and very clean. The staff we interacted with were great, and the hotel is in a great location. Rooms are small, as advertised, but that wasn’t an issue as we weren’t spending a lot of time in the room. My only warning is the lobby area has a very strong perfumed scent.

Check in good.
Went to the room and checked and found the bed sheet, pillows cases and duvet cover was not change. The double bed sheet was very creased and had body fluid stains in the middle of the bed. The sofa bed also was dirty. I went down to the bar reception ask there was a duty manager and told her that bed sheet was not change. She immediately informed housekeeper to rectify the problem.
The housekeeper came to the room within 5 minutes to see the situation and went out to get clean bed ware. Even the housekeeper said it was disgusting.
The housekeeper noticed that the toilet roll was very low needed replacing and went out the new roll. When the housekeeper left he said that they investigated who did the house keeping in room
480. I thought that everything was rectified until I went for a shower later that night.
The shampoo was empty. The shower was very very hot. Even you set the temperature to the lowest it was hot not even cold.
My son aged 10 couldn’t have shower because the water was too hot. I think the thermostat the shower was broken.
The next morning I went down to the bar reception and ask to see the duty manager and told him my experience staying at this hotel.
Then I show him the photos of the double bed sheet and sofa bed sheet and he ask me to sent the photos to him. So I did I airdropped the photos to his phone.
I told person the whole situation and he said he will logged the case and will get back to me in 24 hours.

We had 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 days between 3 people, we had to go ask for it twice, never came, we had to go get it our selves. We also had 2 towels, had to go get this as well, never came at request, would not stay at a Moxy property again
The bed for the 3rd person was fake leather with not fitting sheet, and it would slide off the board, and I would stick the the plastic I would have been better off in the floor

Great location but very small rooms. Ladder to get to the bed was dangerously steep, the sofa bed is NOT. a sofa bed, it's a seat with bedding on and very uncomfortable. No ' Do not Disturb ' signs so every morning the housekeeper kept knocking.. I had to ask for an extra duvet twice ( to sleep on due to the hardness of the sofa bed ) before it got delivered. Room towels and amenities were only set up for 2 people when we booked for 3 people. Check in was poor as our reservation was put in Incorrectly. If you have luggage you have to battle stairs after the escalator up.

I’m rating Moxy this low mainly because of their customer service. Everything is done via a tablet (check in and check out) there’s no physical person to talk to if you have any concerns. The bar staff was extremely nice but they’re always busy making drinks. I think they need to have one person solely handling customer service issues. On our check in date we wanted to get a bigger room so we tried calling Moxy via phone AND through the messaging on Hotels.com and I did not get any response on either options. Careful on which rooms you booked because the rooms ARE SMALL and some of them don’t have any windows either.

We were super excited to stay here, as we've stayed at previous Moxy locations in Europe and loved them. However, we were greatly disappointed with the cleanliness and the staff.
Upon checking into our room, we found toenail clippings on the ledge of the top bunk and hairs in the shower, which made us wonder if the room was even cleaned. We immediately went to the front desk to ask for a change of room, but we were told that if we switched, there would be no sofa bed (blanket and pillow on top of an actual couch) and that we would only have a queen bed for the three of us. They apologized and asked if they could do anything for us; all we asked for was bottles of water, which we are still waiting for to this day.
They offered to send someone to clean and change the sheets instead, and we reluctantly agreed, but asked that they come when we headed out, as it's a small space and we'd rather not be in the way. Naturally, they came 45 minutes before the time we told them, swept the toenails with a mini broom, said 'that's it?', and left.
On our third day, we ran out of toilet paper and asked the front desk for a new roll. They said they would send someone ASAP. We left for 4 hours, came back, and still had no toilet paper, forcing us to go back to the front desk to ask again.
I get that some things can be forgotten, but it made the experience very unpleasant. I would not stay here again. I guess the location is convenient, but that's all they have.

The hotel was under going major refurbishments so the main entrance was blocked off and I was signposted to a side entrance which wasn’t immediately obvious.
I also booked a standard double room which turned out to be a bunk bed with double bed on the top level which was incredibly hard to climb the stairs, the tv was out of sight and there was no shelf place a drink of water or place your phone on to charge overnight, however there was plugs.

I had to check in on a monitor which felt low quality , why pay such a high price if there isn’t even a hotel staff to get me my room, also the beds were not comfortable , pillows were not comfortable , sheets were scratchy and the bedding was so thin — very disappointed as to Moxy branches in NYC were better, feel slightly tricked

You can tell the hotel staff has no idea what’s going on. The check in process was a mess. They told us sit and wait and they were just chit chatting around the bar until I went up and asked again about the check in and why it was being stalled. The hotel is in perfect location to everything so from a location standpoint it’s great. The worst thing about this hotel was the noise. You hear your neighbor like they are right next to you in the same room. If you don’t care about the room and you just plan to use it for sleeping I think it’s great!

Check in was a mess, with them not being able to find my booking, accidentally charging me for an additional room, attempting to give me an upgrade but then reverting back to the original room, all in all it took over 30 mins to get checked in, this was after the 3pm check in time . The staff were really nice but everything went wrong. The loft room was a great concept but the AC didn't work meaning the room was boiling hot, the complementary water was missing and the adjoining door was open and not able to be locked.. the location was great so was the price but you get what you pay for I guess .
