I had a fantastic hotel experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was cozy and well-equipped, featuring a mini fridge, and a Keurig coffee machine. The shower had excellent hot water and water pressure. The hotel’s location is in the heart of the vibrant Soho/West End area, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

The front staff were exceptional, they strived to deliver every request and answered all our questions.

Housekeeping was generally good, though a few days after our stay, they stopped replacing our towels (6 night stay). It would have been nice to have the option to decline towel replacements instead of assuming new towels were not needed for the last few days of our stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at The Resident Soho. The location is fantastic and perfect for first-time visitors to London. Everything is within walking distance, including pubs, restaurants, shopping, and many great areas to explore.

What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. There was absolutely no attitude, just genuine hospitality. I would especially like to mention two ladies at the front desk, one of whom I believe was from Angola. Both had wonderful personalities, warm smiles, and made our stay feel very welcoming.

I would definitely stay here again thanks to the staff and the unbeatable location. However, cleanliness could be improved. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is understandable for Soho, but the room was not spotless and there was noticeable dust, especially on the doors and surfaces.

Overall, a good stay with amazing staff, and with better attention to cleanliness, it would be even better.

We had a wonderful stay at The Resident Soho. From the moment we walked into the lobby, the staff was amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. The room was nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept exceptionally well. The spacious bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, and the small kitchenette was an added bonus, with complimentary tea and coffee as well as filtered water.

The hotel’s location is perfect—close to great restaurants, shopping, and theaters. We highly recommend The Resident Soho and hope to visit again soon.

This is a wonderful hotel with nice, friendly, competent and helpful staff! The rooms are small but my husband and I had two large and two small suitcases and we all fit just fine. Upon arriving at 2:50 to check in we were told our room was not ready which is fine as check I'm states 3pm. However, we were still unable to access our room at 3:45, the hotel lobby area was small with many visitors waiting and one of the seating areas was not usable due to photographers using that space. Lack of communication wasn't helpful either and we were told we could walk around outside rather than wait inside.
When entering the room, which was lovely, it didn't seem completely clean with un-vaccumed carpets!

The Resident-SoHo was perfect! Centrally located..the Tube was a 3 minute walk. There are so many restaurants and pubs within a 5 minute walk. The staff, especially the ones at the front desk deserve the highest praise!! Upon checking in I realized I had lost my passport, which in turn set me into a panic. The gentleman at the front desk calmly, helped me retrace my steps and contacted our driver. He also arranged for the driver to return and deliver my passport!! This gentleman went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure this trip did not end in disaster . At the end of it all he even gave us a bottle of wine! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

The Residenf was in a cool area - tons of locals milling around the pubs, very close to public transit, and even with the bustle outside, the hotel stayed very quiet. It’s smaller than I expected - no bar or restaurant, the only common area is the lobby with green velvet chairs in the pics. Room was very tight for family of four - not even adequate room for our luggage. I booked a room that said king bed with two twin pullout beds, but the pullout was just one double - pretty small for two full grown teens to share. Not sure I would stay here again, but it was nice and clean and staff was great.
