We had a room next to a staff utility room and they were extremely loud with chatter and laughter. This was the case when we first arrived and in the morning whilst we we sleeping. Also started drilling for several hours during the morning too. The aircon didnt get very cold and the room we had didnt have windows we could open. Probably the worst hotel experience ive had.

Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Room was perfectly clean, very spacious and the location was perfect for our trip to London. Amazing price for a centre of London hotel. Our room looked over Leicester Square, we got to see a premier happening at the cinema from our room, but non of the noise that I thought there might be. We will definitely use this hotel again.

One of the worst customer experiences ever!
Booked a room at this hotel and turned up at the hotel to be told that they were fully booked!!!

Have since contacted hotels.com to get a refund and the hotel are deceitfully claiming that I didn’t turn up at the hotel! Owners are deceitful - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Great locations, overlooking Leicester square. Lovely big room, with all the amenities we needed for a couple of nights away. Clean and comfortable.
Stayed for a special anniversary, staff were very welcoming and few extra touches made it feel very special.
Would happily stay here again.

Actually, when we arrived we were told that there had been a water break so our room and others were not available. They sent us over to the Moxey by Marriott close by. Same rate. Very new hotel. Incredibly small rooms but only 3 month old hotel. As we were not in the hotel often it worked out fine. We appreciate the Victory for taking care of the arrangements.

We had the suite which was lovely & spacious., but the bed I didn’t find to be very comfortable. However it was Clean and well soundproofed from the outside noise.
Bathroom let it down., although looked great, It was smelly at times and water was only tepid in temperature in sink & shower, sink took ages to drain.

I spoke to the hotel the day before my visit to confirm my room, the member of staff I spoke to also told me 1 breakfast was included and I could add my parter on when I arrived.
When arriving at the hotel I was told they had moved us to the moxy due to over booking, even though I booked it months in advance for my partners birthday.
I asked if the room would be a like for like and was told well it will have a window which was a very poor answer and with the lack of apology I can say I was very annoyed.
The hotel they sent us to was only 5 minutes down the road but down a side road and around the back away from the square front.
The staff at the moxy were very polite and helpful.
When I asked them in regards to the breakfast I was told they would enquire and to come back later.
So once we got back from our show around 10pm I spoke to the member of staff at the front desk who told me that they had been advised by the Victoria that we had to come back to the Victoria if we wanted our breakfast which might I add is ridiculous considering the weather the next day was heavy rain and strong winds.
So we asked if we could be compensated and not have the breakfast, we was told by the moxy they will enquire and let us know in the morning.
So in the morning when it came to checking out the Victoria had changed there minds saying it was never included In the first place.
The lack of any professionalism was extremely disappointing.

Great early check in without asking for it, made the day so much easier. Beautiful room, mainly clean throughout, few stains on the corner seating area. Room over look’s Leicester Square which is amazing but be prepared for the noise throughout the evening/morning/whole day. Bed very comfy and felt like a bit of luxury staying here. Perfect location for theatres.

The only thing good about this was the location and the friendly front desk staff. The room didn’t feel clean. The towels were gross. The sink didn’t drain. And we didn’t sleep for three nights because there was so much noise from the air-conditioning unit. I don’t recommend staying here. There’s so many other better places you can book.

The hotel and staff are great, it was a convenient location. That said it's like Times Square and all that brings..but surprisingly the windows are excellent and you don't hear a thing. We were on the 2nd floor and slept well in the comfy bed. Rooms are small but we weren't there to lounge in a room but to see the town so it suited our needs. We didn't partake in the breakfast but it looked good. Staff was friendly and helpful. In the heart of Chinatown and the theater area it's a good, fairly priced option.

Room was nice but was not the same room as shown in the photos for booking. Mattress was horrible and very uncomfortable. Only one of the elevators was working during our stay which was not ideal since guests and housekeeping staff were using the only elevator. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Superb Hotel In The Centre Of London

In my opinion this is the best place to stay in central London - yes I admit that it's not cheap but for me it's very convenient when attending the horror film festival Fright Fest.
Aside from that when I get back from one of my outings on the edge of the world it's a refreshing taste of normality before I get home.

Great experience. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were celebrating an Anniversary and were given free upgrade. Room was large and very comfirtable. Was a bit noisy but we were on Leicester Square so was to be expected. However, fantastically central to so many of London's sites and attractions.

Is what it is. Housekeeping was terrible, there is no where to put your clothes. A small rack with 5 hangers and one drawer/cubby. The location is very busy and overrun with people and tourists.

There was no information in the room about any services available (of which there are none). The phone doesn’t call the front desk or allow outside calls so you have to walk down if you need info. No laundry service and they couldn’t even recommend one. AC was broken in the lobby so the poor staff were sweaty and unhappy.

Weekend stay with my daughter

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend as we had pre-booked theatre tickets for Friday and Sunday and thought it would be great to spend some quality time in London. The check in was different as there was no reception just a machine, it was very easy to do yourself and get the number of key cards required. The staff were very helpful behind the bar if anything was running low in the room and housekeeping we didn't even notice they just came in and serviced the room whilst we were out. The location is so fantastic between China Town and Leicester Square everything is so accessible by walking, tube or bus. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever almost stayed in. I called over 20 times, left 5 voicemails for 24 hours before I arrived trying to get early check in etc. No one responded to me or Expedia who reached out 3 times. Noone ever answers the phone. There's no email to contact them on the site. I sent three messages through the contact us on the site with no response. I mentioned that and the front desk lady lied to me saying they had no missed calls. I called the number and the phone rang right in front of me. They changed their story saying they were too busy with customers
No customer was there.1 of the employees was playing with a bouncy ball in the lobby. There was no Ac in the main hotel.1 elevator was broken. The only other elevator was stuck at the top level. Another customer said that frequently happens and you have to use the stairs. The elevator button for my floor didn't even work. We had to carry all our bags up five flights of stairs and my friend threw her back out. The AC in the room broke. The room was dirty and gross looking. I asked for a refund and said I will just check out now and not even use the room because of how it was not what was advertised. I checked out immediately as a show of good faith that I never used the room.Staff gave me tons of attitude and said there would be no manager for a week. They refused to give me a way to contact upper management saying they would handle contacting them.They refused a refund despite me never using the room.

Very nice hotel. Could not check-in early which was okay because they held my bags and I could use the bathroom to freshen up after a very long flight. Checked-in around 6pm. When I returned to the hitel many people were complaining the AC was not working on the 6th floor. The receptionist tried putting me on the 6th floor. I nicely asked for a different room- thank goodness there was one left and she moved me to floor 2. The hotel was clean, room was very nice. Staff was pleasant. The hotel is very close to China town- great food here. I would stay here again.

Originally they put me in a handicap accessible room which was extremely inconvenient - mirror in bathroom so below I had to stoop to use it, shower not separated so water got all over the floor. Should have given me a partial refund for putting me in a room I didn’t boon.

Booked a suite. I know it's London, but this was not a suite. Room had a terrible odor & dirty carpeting. Called Expedia to see if they could help considering this was a non-refundable room. They were extremely HELPFUL. They called the hotel, & tried to get us a refund. But the hotel said they wouldn't be able to let us know for a week. But the hotel was very kind & did offer to switch us to a sister hotel. This went very smoothly & the nice gentleman who checked us in at The Hotel Indigo gave us free breakfast every morning on their beautiful rooftop restaurant/bar.

Great location, great check in, room was a great size for London and was quiet despite the proximity to Leicester square.
Lighting in corridors and stairwells not so great. Once checked in, no need to scan room key on re entry to gain access to the hotel corridors. Obviously could not access any other rooms but we felt like this was not as safe as could be.

For around £150 - dirty and extremely noisy, with no good service or even decent reception. When asked about excessive noise outside the staff said it should stop before late night. Air conditioning machinery was placed directly over the bed heading and flashing diodes at our eyes all night. Avoid!

The room had stale smell of smoke. Dingy. Bathroom did not have a real enclosed shower. Water was everywhere. Floor tiles were not set properly so soft floor that probably is rotting as floor moved when walking on it. Smell of mildew.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable but the hotel is very dark and gloomy

The worst thing about the stay was the shower was very unreliable. 10pm it was hot and good pressure but 9am there was little to no hot water and water pressure was a trickle. May have been a faulty shower

The staff was very nice and helpful but there were some essential issues.
1) The elevator (lift) was broken for most of my stay. This usually would not be an issue but I have a knee injury and cannot climb stairs. I was moved from the 4th to the Mezzenine floor. The M-floor ceilings were very low. Even then I had to still climb up 1 level of stairs which was very difficult.
2) Noise, noise, noise. The noise was unbearable. It was constant, beating music from the square, casino and club. It was ALL DAY and until 1 or 2 AM. I did not sleep the entire time their. Potential naps were completely not an option because of the extreme, ear drum busting noise from the square.
Given these 2 limitations, I left the final night though we had it paid for. It was too difficult and making us ill.

Literally horrendous. Booked 3 rooms and fair enough at a non refundable rate but someone I was travelling with had lost a family member so tried to get a date change but no go from the hotel, would have expected some leniency especially as we gave a weeks notice.
The hotel reception is poor, not efficient, room keys didn’t work, 1 of the rooms was 2 hours late to be ready, rooms are dirty and dated. Location great but not worth the money at all. At reception when every time I passed someone was complaining about something.
Nearly £1300 for 3 double rooms for a single night literally horrendous.
STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Helpful staff. No foyer just a small ground-floor café bar doubling as the reception. My Superior Double room was fine for one person, low-lit and compact, but with no desk or chair, which was awkward as I needed to work. Bathroom was nice, well-lit with deco design touches. I chose this hotel based on its location and proximity to an event I was attending. In that respect it was excellent, situated almost directly on Leicester Square, yet still surprisingly quiet. I’d consider staying again if I needed to, as it was the most affordable hotel I could find at fairly short notice two weeks before Christmas that also offered a room with a window, but the price reflects its location rather than the room itself.

Comfort in the Square.

Great location. The soundproofing was good enough to sleep easily with the hustling outside. The view of the square is nice but you need to draw your shades before bed to keep the light out. Rooms were modern and stocked with coffee and tea daily.
