No room available. Was advised could get a free upgrade if I joined the club. Upgrade was not an upgrade was the same standard (questionable) just with additional bedrooms. Horrendous noise and a fire exit to the roof. On complaining when back was advised no rooms available to change and sent someone to review the noise coming from a vent. They advised the room not fit. Suddenly another room the same as had booked was available?? However got a call to be advised there may be a smell in the bathroom. The room was better than the upgrade. We chose to move at gone 2330 after being messed around. On trying to discuss in morning was advised no mager in for 15 mins. I waited to then go back 20 mins to be introduced to a lady who had been sat there all the time. Was advised that no compensation could be given until management arrived on Mon? Also I had to send an email. The response I got was 20% which considering what was paid is nothing. Also the hotel lied about what actually happened which is really easy to do post event. So please be mindful of this and the tiredness of the hotel areas and rooms. However rooms a good size and with a kitchenette and location I’m sure will suit some but if you have an issue don’t expect it to be resolved

Nice large room with sofa couch with a separate small bedroom, had a separate toilet/sink and shower/tub/sink room which was nice for multiple people. It was basic but comfortable and had a kitchenette that we didn’t really use. It was nice to spread out and have laundry on premises. There was no body lotion and the shower gel seemed low end. The breakfast was fine but not really worth £15. They did have 24/7 coffee/tea in the lobby. It was a great location, clean, had everything and room to spread out if traveling with a family. Just your basic comfortable hotel.

This place is well located within waking distance to a great number of things to do and see. There are several restaurants located close by, as is Trafalgar Square. The London Eye is just across the river by walking the pedestrian bridge. Benjamin Franklin's house was right behind us. Great place to stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Location for Citadines Trafalgar Squ is great, easy walk to the National Gallery a tube stations. Can also walk to Covent Garden where there are loads of restaurants and also the West End for shows and restaurants. The amenities in the rooms are quite good but the shower rooms need a revamp. They are outdated.

Situated between the embankment and trafalger square/ the strand, so easy access to trains, underground and bus routes. I know this is a more budget option when it comes to central London, but I was honestly a bit disappointed.
First impression on walking in was the room was very tired and not very well cleaned. The mirrors were smeared with presumably a dirty cloth as were the kitchenette surfaces. That was a bit of a theme throughout. It felt a thoroughly used space.
Bed and linens appeared and felt particularly old. Also the air conditioning was so loud I had to turn it all off at night despite it being a freezing night.
I wouldn't return, sorry. Though the staff I spoke to were very nice and the downstairs areas are perfectly nice and modern. And of course that location is fantastic.

Absolutely amazing stay in the heart of the west end. I could walk everywhere in central London, it was quiet despite being in a bustling part of town. Public transport options are basically unlimited. I could book plays last minute because I was right there. Had a great time!

The property is well maintained. Location is perfect , we were able to walk to quiet a few attractions. I believe we had queen bed in reservation , we got 2 doubles instead which are tucked side by side. Not sure if that is standard practice but that was a little uncomfortable to share. I will give 10 stars for the staff at the front desk and breakfast area, always approachable and responsive.

The good: Very central location, easy to get to the subway. Staff was helpful and fast to respond. The bad: No room service as in no one comes to clean the room refresh the towels and toiletries etc. . There were lots of homeless people few steps away from the hotel. Their king beds are even smaller than a queen bed. Linens are old. The hallways make you feel you're in the wrong place. We heard Street noise while in the room and the windows let in a cold breeze.
