Didn’t eat breakfast. Room was compact but very clean. We were there 4 days and each day room was serviced to a very high standard. Only complaint was that the curtains were terrible, we were at the side the sun came up and the light came through them from very early morning. Apart from that we were happy with our stay. Coffee was lovely and whole atmosphere very chilled. Staff polite and attentive. Would stay there again

Understaffed. Hate using iPad to check yourself in. Put in disabled room with tiny low sink and no bed side table or lamp. No tea making facility in room (who wants to get dressed to make tea in a communal corridor then go back to bed?). Breakfast really poor. No plates, no yoghurt, no waiters, zero service. £25 for bread, jam and pastry? Employ some more people and actually provide a service. Won’t be going here again.

I was surprised how great this hotel is for an overnight stay. The location unbearable , 5 minutes easy walk to Waterloo station. Many restaurants and grocery stores right on the street. The staff were super polite, professional, friendly and helpful; the room is very clean with comfortable bed and pillows. The shower with good water pressures . The only suggestion is to install smart tv. Will definitely be back.

Hotel itself is a bit quirky and won’t to be everyone’s taste, rooms are a bit unconventional bathroom wise, and tea & coffee making facilities are outside in a communal area - but the bed was lovely & comfy. The bar is cosy for drinks, and doubles as the breakfast area - this is only continental, albeit a very nice one.
We personally won’t stay here again.

The room was neat and tidy and the decor was pleasant. However, the bathroom setting was only good for solo traveller as the shower unit was completely exposed - one could watch TV while showering - and the washbasin and well-lit mirror were outside the bathroom. The key issue was that around 2 am, the bathroom light suddenly turned on by itself and I couldn’t turn it off and couldn’t phone for assistance which I tried a few times, so a sleepless night. The bar was a pleasant place but only offers a very limited menu so not a place where you could come for dinner.

I had a really nice stay here. The room was larger than I expected, and I had a nice view over Lower Marsh. I didn’t get much of a chance to explore the area (work trip) but spent a little time in the bar and found it to be a pleasant space with good service. The only issue was the air con not working properly, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Really lovely staff, always smiling and with a welcoming hello every time we encountered them - a proper asset to this business as so many hotel reception staff are often without character. If I was to criticise anything, I would say the shower/toilet combo with glass walls are not to my taste - just a personal choice.

Upgraded to a larger room than the one I booked , room very good , friendly helpful staff , good facilities , loved the help yourself tea / hot beverage bars on each floor , nice general bar space- feels boutiquey even though this is a chain . Will stay here again .
