Great layout of the room for parties 4-6 people. Train station and 7-11 was a 5 min walk. Very quiet and clean neighborhood. I wouldn't mind staying there again when going to Tokyo.

The room was spacious and the location was ideal for us. However, the staff was very bad and lacked customer service. The guy with blonde hair was awful and appeared as if he hated tourists and his job. The room also has a motion sensor light inside the room feet from the beds and they kept going on all night even with no motion near, don’t understand why they have that light. It makes zero sense and there is no way to turn it off. Remove them! We won’t stay again due to the horrible staff behavior.

We are a family of 4 with kids age 8/10. They love this hotel that I booked for our first trip to Tokyo. We love the space in the room. The room is well equipped with everything we need. The washer/dryer is great for our everyday laundry. We also love how our air conditioner is strong to keep us cool at night. Will definitely book back again.

It is in a quiet and safe residential area. However, it is a walking distance to the Iriya station. One needs to transit to another major train line in order to get to the popular places. Everything else in the hotel is above average. No additional amenities for refill were available at the lobby like other hotels.

AVOID: Unsanitary, Deceptive & No Service

This is not a hotel, but a poorly managed, unhygienic apartment with absent staff. Our 9-night stay was horrible.

We booked a 3-bed room but got 2 beds and a regular couch; the advertised \"sofa bed\" does not pull out.

The \"24/7 front desk\" is a lie, it's an unmanned iPad. Where you have to figure out which of the dozen apps gets you to the receptionist. All guest conversations are public, so don't complain about your neighbours that wake you at 3am stomping around.

The hygiene was appalling. Bedding provided for the couch was a duvet and a pillow, no covers or sheets and visible blood stains. Other pillows and mattresses were also stained on inspection.

The shower drain, clogged with old hair, flooded the bathroom. The room was cleaned only once during our entire stay.

The hotel's contact app didn't work, the front desk iPad team didn't care. After helping check-in the only staff member present at the time ran into a bathroom and was violently ill. We were told someone would bring proper bedding to our room, but no one ever arrived after 2 hours. We were forced to sleep in two beds for the 9 nights.

When we requested Expedia to get a refund to leave, Expedia was unable to contact the hotel by phone. Travel insurance doesn't allow hygiene as a reason for changing hotel. The offline Expedia team later confirmed the hotel refused to refund. Do not stay here.

Séjour très agréable. On est un peu surpris au début parce que la réception se fait par une discussion en ligne avec une opératrice qui ne paraît pas être au Japon, mais pour le reste, c’est parfait. Emplacement pratique, chambre grande et confortable, propreté impeccable. La chambre est silencieuse, couchage agréable. On regrette peut-être seulement que les rideaux ne soient pas complètement occultants.

Its a nice quiet area, close to the subway (iriya station is a 6min walk). The room was spacious and clean. Front desk is virtual, so may bee difficult if you need anything. Luggage storage space is limited and not monitored. Basically it is a bike lock in the front reception area. Great for large groups, especially if your kids like bunk beds!

Lovely stay! Surprisingly large room for Tokyo, and property is very well kept. It is a little far from \"center of the city\" but it is very close to the subway and so it was still quite easy to get around. Lovely and quite area.

Room also has automatic sensor lights that have the sensor taped over but does also misoperated in middle of night.
Area did not have many dining options very close by.
The rooms were clean and the service from both onsite and offsite were quick and good. Check in was fast.

It is a comfortable stay for the 5 of us (2A 3C). There is a nearby groceries store and a 7 Eleven shop.

The nearest train station are Metro (400 m) and JR line (900 m).

The apartment require complete silent as I was notified by the management there are noise from our room dispite everyone have fallen asleep. When I enquire the management if the noise came from our unit, no feedback on that.

No iron provided in the room.

The building lobby is quite small for the guests to hang out or wait, hence please stay in the room and only get out when everyone in your party is ready to leave the unit and the building.

There are spaces to keep luggage at the lobby with locks but without dedicated room. Nevertheless, it is safe.

This is self check in hotel without front desk staff. Very confusing and time consuming. The room was clean and roomy. Our room was on the ground floor near the elevator and close to the front entrance. We Keep hearing stumping from up above us. The sensor light from our room keeps going on and off. The location is far from everything. The nice thing about this hotel is very quiet and nice neighborhood. It’s just too far from everything.

Our stay was great. The room and linens were clean, with 2 double beds, they were firm, I believe most are in Japan. Pillows were good size, I have neck problems so I usually travel with my own. They were not to large, or heavy. In the states I think most are annoyingly large, definitely creating a kink in the neck. So I appreciated this maybe more than some would.
Having the kitchen was convenient and I appreciated being able to heat something up when needed.
The bathroom was good size, and I really enjoyed the shower with a built in place to sit and the door seals up so you can have a sauna like experience.
Toiletries or pajamas were not provided, which I had read a lot of hotels sometimes provide these. Not a big deal at all. Just don't expect those items, bring your own. Washer/Dryer combo was convenient, it did take 4 hours to run a full cycle. I could not figure out a dry only cycle to refresh wrinkled clothing.
Neighborhood was quiet, and safe, all of Japan is safe really, never felt as if I had to look over my shoulder (I am female traveling alone with my two kids.) Grocery store a short walk, pharmacy and 7-11 as well. I advise getting what you can at the pharmacy, it is the least expensive. The people working there are very kind as well.
We checked in after 8pm I think, and there was not anyone there to check us in. It was self check in on an ipad. Do make sure you write down your code they email you before your trip incase you do not have access to your email.

It was around popular restaurants, and sightly busy streets, but was mostly next to other apartment-like structures. Responses from staff for extra toilet paper/towels were met by email and was responded immediately in 20 minutes. Had a nice check-in area to drop off bags day of to be locked in, until the check in time of 3PM. Beds were comfortable and the shows were a plus. Hotels used a code instead of a key to log in, it was helpful with multiple people sharing the room. Balcony was spacious, looking down at the people below to the streets. 5 min away from 7/11. Alot of us didn't want to leave.

Clean apartment, large shower, very comfortable. We slept very well, beds with good mattresses.
Kitchen accessories are enough for a short or medium stay.
No key needed for the apartment access : no risk to lose it, and more independance to each of the residents.

Check in was very easy. Staff is also available on call which helps for later check ins. Deluxe room was very nice and clean.
It was big enough for a group of 6 guys although there is only one bathroom in the room. There is another bathroom in the lobby. Shower is spacious and there is a washer/dryer combined unit. Very pleasant experience! Will definitely want to stay again in the future! Staff is also available for chatting and they even helped me do some research for nice places to visit!

Checking in was easy, slight issue with the key, but technology can fail sometimes, we were issued with a physical key very quickly.
Room was good size for our family of 4, some of the extra bedding mats were stained and there was no linen for the extra bed, maybe it was at an extra cost, but it wasn’t clear even though we had booked for 4 people.
Very close to Iriya station and short walk to Asakusa. The local supermarket Inageya is very nice, great for picking up meals and snacks.
Overall great place to stay!

I was disappointed that we didnt even have a tea towel to dry dishes, broom no where to be seen and the sink and shower kept blocking and over flowing. I dont think i would return.

Pros: Hotel is spacious. It is a 1 unit studio apartment. If you are travelling with family, this hotel is a good choice. We like that it is equipped with a washer and a mini stove with pots and pans. very nice set up , safe and quiet too.

Cons: not very close to bus stops and train stations.The distance is walkable, but if you have small kids in tow, it can be a challenge.

This great room in the heart of Ueno district made it easy to get around. It was spacious and comfortable with kitchen and washing machine making it very handy.
However the reception was unmanned. The only way to speak to a person was voice call on a tablet. We arrived a bit before check-in time and were told that there was nowhere to store suitcases. This information was not conveyed in the check-in info I had received. After much backwards and forwards about the lack of lockers large enough for suitcases at Iriya station, a staff member came to tell us that our room was ready and we could check in.

5 adults (My husband and 3 adults children were stayed ) stayed 4night at the hotel. We love it! Akari's room is super clean and cozy. My favorite was laundry machine with free detergent. It takes only 5mints from subway Iriya station to Akari. Convenience store、drug store, grocery store, 100yen store near by the hotel. We are recommend the hotel!
