The breakfast was surprisingly good for a hotel, we didnt try the grill, but it looked good. The place is definitely in our return to list.

Overall was a nice trip. If I had anything to complain about it would be that the rooms could have been cleaned a little better as well as the pool area but it wasn’t awful. We had a great trip and the staff was amazing. Watching the security guard walk the parking lot at 1 a.m made us feel safe and secure. We will definitely book this hotel our next trip to cocoa beach.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend, from Friday to Sunday. My first impression from the outside was that the hotel looked older and a little neglected, but once I walked inside, my impression changed completely. The entrance area was pleasant, clean, and had a nice smell. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Everyone I interacted with treated me well.
The property appears to have been renovated with an 80s-style vibe. I do think the hotel could use more investment and updates in some areas, but it still has some very nice features. One of the highlights is the lazy river pool, which is perfect for relaxing. However, it is not really a traditional swimming pool; it is more for floating and relaxing on a tube.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. I stayed in a double queen room that also had a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, which made the room feel very roomy and convenient. The room was not perfectly spotless, but it was clean enough and had everything we needed, including towels, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Housekeeping does not clean the rooms daily, at least during my two-night stay, but that was not a major issue for me.
The main area I think needs improvement is the bedding. The mattresses and pillows could definitely use an update, as I was not able to rest as well as I would have liked.
The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety.

Rooms were clean but bathrooms are run down. Staff was friendly but if you request anything they don’t follow through. Beware they do let local residence purchase day passes. The lazy river is not big enough to have outside guests. Overall a good stay, very close to the beach, one minute walk. Chair and umbrella rental right as you enter!

Jennifer at the front desk was so sweet and helpful as much as she could. The floor in our room was really dirty and the drain in the shower was clogged. We asked for maintenance but they never came. We went to the pool bar and ordered drinks and food. The chicken salad was amazing and had a ton of chicken cooked and seasoned properly. The shrimp cocktail was nice and cold and fresh. Now to our drinks, we had a Piña Colada and a Tito’s and soda. We couldn’t taste alcohol in either. So we ordered a rum floater for the Pina colada and an additional shot of grey goose vodka. It was absolutely watered down. While in the pool we asked other people and they had the same complaint. So our nonalcoholic supposed to be alcoholic drinks cost us $40. We went to the front desk to inquire about it and were told that they would note it. We spoke to a manager and we were told that this isn’t an ongoing issue so it must be us. Thennnnn we woke up and realized we had weird bites on us. We checked the mattress and in fact found bed bugs. When addressed with the management stafff we were not offered any compensation or even an acceptance that this occurred. We will never stay here again

The staff was great, very nice and welcoming. The pool looked great but it was a rainy day when we were there, so we didn't use it. Our room was just okay, the bed was comfortable enough and the sheets were clean, but the bathroom was very dingy and dated. When we were leaving in the morning there was a dying roach in our room as well. Not the best, but not the worst.

Room smells like 3rd hand marijuana smoke. There are two rooms, facing the parking lot or facing the lazy river pool. I wish there was that option when we booked to be facing the pool. Otherwise, it just felt like an old motel on the parking lot facing side. Floors looked really dirty, bathroom grout needs good updating.

The lazy river is the nicest one and their sand box area. Breakfast buffet is nice as well.

They really need to update their rooms. It is old and run down. Just painted fresh with beachy neutral color. The front desk staff was nice to tell me that there was a 20% discount since I'm from Florida but it cannot be applied on my booking. I would have saved $50 for the booking. Oh well. Very sad.

I found the check-in experience to be seemless. We arrived sooner than our assigned arrival time and was allowed to use the amenities until our room became available. Omar was very friendly and helpful, she is an asset to this organization. Every employee that I came in contact with was so nice and accommodating. My daughter and her family have stayed here many times, this was our first time based on her recommendation and we feel the same, we will be back.

We recently stayed at Beachside Hotel & Suites in Cocoa Beach and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic just a short walking distance to the beach and surrounded by several local restaurants offering amazing food.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family getaway. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Lou, who was incredibly resourceful, welcoming, and genuinely lovely throughout our visit. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home.

We highly recommend Beachside Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Cocoa Beach and look forward to staying here again in the future!

They should expand the bar/food area and make that an enjoyable little happy hour. Because its cool.
The breakfast is pretty good to get you up and going. Again great staff.

The proberty advertised as first row ocean view and it’s not . The walking distance is not terrible but not short.Also, there is no umbrellas or chairs they offer you ones but u have to put it on your self and return by the end of the day, the room was terrible Motel style v old and the mattress and the billows were painful. The lazy river !!!is so small and v slow backed with other swimmers no regular pool . The facility have a good reviews regardless but we didn’t enjoy especially the stay is not sheep

We had a great pre-cruise stay. The lobby staff was amazing along with the poolside bar staff. Lu in the lobby made helpful suggestions for transportation and went above and beyond to be helpful! The rooms are sparse and need updating but we loved the poolside location for a large family trip. Poolside activities and music were great! We liked that we could walk to a few restaurants on the beach and within also a short walk to take the kids in the ocean I wound highly recommend especially for a trip with kids.

It”s like staying in a Quality Inn with a small lazy river. Breakfast is the typical waffle bar, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal and the like. Juices were pretty watered down.
Walls between the rooms are very thin and you can hear the TV and the coughing through the wall from the people next-door. If you get a room by the pool, it will be very noisy because there are a lot of kids who yell and of course the lazy river is small and there’s a pool area that’s tiny, and it’s mostly dominated by kids jumping in the water and splashing.

Nice place, good breakfast buffet, nice friendly staff that is very accommodating, room came with a $20 voucher that can be used to get drinks and snacks which was a nice surprise and they offer a shuttle to cruise port for a small fee. Many restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance and the beach is literally across the street. This place is in the best location to get anything you need. We enjoyed our stay! ❤️

It is a great place! It offers free breakfast and food for purchase throughout the day in the hotel's cafeteria/bar. You can also buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The lazy river is open until 11:00 p.m. They have a big screen that shows movies for kids by the pool and lazy river area. There is also a DJ in the pool area.
The hotel is just a one-block walk from the beach. Parking is available on-site. Our room was a suite. It was great for a family of four, featuring a separate king-size bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room.
The suites include a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a microwave. The hotel provides body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The staff is very friendly.

The staff found us one more, but they said that people keep stealing them. Maybe get some more and glue them in place so people have a place to hang their towels and wet bathing suits! We had an unplanned detour and want to stay in a beachside place. Chose this on Expedia, price seems to be too high for the quality of the room. Property is bit old, though outdoor pool and other amenities are well maintained, rooms are pretty old. We got a first floor room, water on the shower and washbasin were draining very slow.

Lazy pool is well maintained and a nice relaxing spot. Breakfast room and service were excellent, had a good spread and healthy options.

I may choose for a longer stay, as it has close access to beach and property is kids friendly, given price is lowered.

This property is a great retro throwback. It has that classic 1960s Cocoa Beach vibe, but everything has been beautifully refreshed and updated. It’s an awesome beachside destination with a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. Having food and drinks available right on-site was a huge plus, and the whole property felt very kid-friendly.

The lazy river is fantastic, and while the rooms aren’t ultra-luxury, they were clean, comfortable, and more than met our needs. We absolutely loved our stay. We had an oceanfront balcony room on the fifth floor of the tower, and the views were amazing.

The elevator was temporarily out of service when we arrived, but maintenance had someone there the same day and the issue was quickly resolved. The staff was incredibly friendly, parking was easy, and the location is excellent.

Whether you’re heading out on a cruise from the port, making a stopover, or planning a beach vacation, this is a wonderful place to stay. We would definitely come back!

We had an overall very pleasant and enjoyable time at this well-located, friendly, bright, fun hotel resort. The pool area with its \"lazy river\" arrangement was fun for adults and children alike, there were plenty of reclining lounge chairs, and there were never any problems with overcrowding, rambunctious or unsupervised minors, or intoxicated people. Our suite on the sixth (top) floor of the east tower gave us a lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean beach from our private balcony. Free coffee in the lobby was a welcome plus, and the free buffet breakfast 7 to 10 a.m. was very accommodating and attended by friendly and attentive staff who were indulgent of stragglers. I would recommend this property for a fun beach vacation for families and couples alike. It is not top luxury, but for the price, we had no complaints at all.

Clean older hotel. Bathroom was small and no counter space. Minor issue with bathroom switch not working properly and had to jiggle the handle for the toilet water to stop running. Breakfast was very good, plenty of selections and tables to sit.
The pool area looked very nice, but we did not use it, there’s a lazy river and play area for the kids. Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly. If you can avoid a room off the side street, do it because it was a bit noisy with cars going up and down that side road. Rooms that are facing the pool would be quieter.

The front desk staff were very nice but the rest of the hotel was a disaster. Old, run down, very unclean, bad views, bedding old and dirty, refrigerator old and dirty, floors filthy, balcony falling apart. Lots of areas broken, rotted wood, bad painting etc. I was hoping breakfast would be better, it wasn’t. If this is the way the management group runs its other hotels be careful. This hotel was obviously a distressed asset bought at a bargain price but failed in doing proper renovations most likely due to budget restraints.

This place was amazing! Free beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and surfboards! Clean! Friendly staff! Pool was amazing along with lots of activities around the pool including a DJ, games, contests, a duck race for free prizes, a big screen tv with a movie every night and free tubes and a lazy river! I would recommend this hotel and describe it as a diamond in the rough! Incredibly clean, lots to do, and a fun atmosphere for all families and travelers! Free breakfast every morning was a nice added bonus! Great location minutes from the beach and shopping! ❤️🏖️

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and had no issues whatsoever. The hotel itself is older but has been updated for the most part. The room was spacious and we were able to park right outside of our room each time. Even with most of the rooms being street accessible on the lower level, the area seemed safe. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet and everything was great! There is an on-site restaurant & bar but we didn't get the chance to check that out before leaving. All of the staff members were awesome as well! The beach was within walking distance and was a plus. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Family vacation to enjoy Cocoa Beach. The hotel was a short walk from the hotel and we rented (for free) an umbrella, boogy board, and beach chairs from the hotel. That was the best service ever!

The breakfast was good and his options.

The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because I was charged 3.5% fee on top my \"final cost\" from hotels.com. That fee was charged because I used my credit card. It was charged before I even got to the hotel so I couldn't change it out to a debit card. I don't like surprise fees and just wish I could've known before I was charged. If it wasn't for the fee, we had a 5 star experience at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our hotel room was clean. The bathroom was older but clean. The staff was friendly and the amenities were the best! Our family enjoyed the pool/lazy river, the DJ, and breakfast, which was convenient and good! The beach access was just across the back road! Ron Jon, an ice cream shop, and mini golf are all within a short walking distance from the hotel (along with several restaurants).

The staff was nice to talk to, but they do not give you helpful information. We usually don't ask for room to be serviced because everywhere we stay they will do it on third day. Nope not here, you have to request it. We had trash piled up and needed things. Breakfast was a nice walk. The paint on concrete is very slippery when wet. No sign so be careful. The pool was nice. Breakfast was the normal powder eggs and sausage and they do have waffles. They have a small gift shop. Cute area for kids to play in sand.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the benefit of beach supplies and surf boards from the hotel instead of renting from beach vendors. This was easy and a bonus savings.

The breakfast was generous and had plenty of options. The Duck Dive was ok for hotel bar food and the pricing was as expected. The pool and evening movies were a fun extra.

My only complaint is the room lighting. We had to keep the curtains closed so people couldn't look in as they walked by, but the room lighting isn't really sufficient so it felt a little dark, even with everything turned on.

The pool was the reason we picked this hotel, and it was so worth it, it stayed open late and there was a movie night too, which was perfect after a long day at the beach.

Mixed reviews online but I personally thought the property and amenities were great. The pool with lazy river was refreshing. There was an abundance of pool floats. There is a sand beach and play areas for kids. A bar conveniently located for pool lounging with cocktails, and a plethora of loungers for relaxing. Complimentary beach cruisers are also available.

The rooms are modest, but comfortable. Sure they could use some updating but at $140 a night, they are quite livable. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice add on.

The customer service was also pretty good. All in all, it’s a good stay for the price or a quick stay before cruising.

Also, while there is no direct shuttle to Port Canaveral, reservations will provide the info of the independent contractor who does at $10 pp. Overall, I wouldn’t mind staying again.

I rarely take the time to write reviews because life gets busy, but this hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations.

When we first pulled in, I was honestly disappointed because I thought I had booked something directly on the beach. Then I noticed a couple checking out early and started questioning my choice. Thankfully, I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Check-in was easy, the staff was friendly, and our first-floor room by the pool was perfect for our family of five. The pool area was fantastic, with turf for the kids to play on, a sand play area, nightly movies, and plenty of space to relax. Even though the hotel was busy, everything ran smoothly and never felt overcrowded.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely updated. It’s an older beach property, so there was a slight musty smell at times, but nothing that affected our stay.

The biggest surprise was the amenities. Complimentary bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagons, boogie boards, and lazy river floats were all included. The beach was only a short walk away, and even after three days at theme parks, my kids didn’t complain once.

The food, drinks, and included breakfast were all great, and the convenience couldn’t be beat.

My husband isn’t a beach person and wasn’t impressed when we arrived, but by the end of the trip he was blown away. Don’t let the age or size of this hotel fool yo…it’s a hidden gem with incredible value, family-friendly amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go again

The only thing good about this place was the lady at the front desk that checked us in and the breakfast, but the room was extremely outdated, creepy, and old. They definitely make too much money to have outdated rooms.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel, staff and amenities. The restaurant had delicious food. The only problem was that we were double charged and it messed up my bank account. I called hotel and they said someone would call back, which they didn't. I called our bank and they said the double posting should drop off in several days, which it did. Then we had to call several bills that tried to post and bounced. We finally cleared everything up. But that was a major inconvenience.

So on my arrival and check in i noticed in the room it wasn't sweep very well and moped the i noticed a roach problem in the bathroom and kitchen area and proceed to take pictures of the roach problem also i found a roach in the refrigerator i took a photo of that as well i immediately reported it to the front desk on my displeasure and it was not never once did they offered anything as a remediation.

Family resort: the children loved the lazy river and other amenities. Lots to do for those with children. Plus a $20 gift card for use at the restaurant or bar!
