Staff very nice and friendly. Room clean. Older decor with \"motel\" entrance for some rooms,so door faces parking lot. We were close walk to Cocoa beach,which was across couple streets,and down path.large breakfast with usuals waffles,egg,sausage etc. Lots of activities looked like for kids. Stayed with our two preteen boys and they adored the pool! The room was nothing fancy, which in my book is perfect for traveling with kids. The staff was super helpful and gave us some awesome recommendations, would definitely stay again if we end up back Cocoa Beach!

I only stayed one night and found myself wishing I could stay longer. Breakfast was a little above the norm. The pool area was nice and had lots of chairs, which is nice. It is in a great location with walking ability to the beach and some great stores. The best part was being able to use a wagon, umbrella, and surfboard for free.

This hotel is not on the water, but rather a 1 block walk east. The site has one building with four floors on the east side of the complex that I assume the top floors can see the water, but the buildings on the north and south side are only 2 floors, and lack the height to see the water.
The staff was nice, the pool was well-kept, as well as the play/recreation area. The room itself was nice enough, but the bathroom tile grout was very dingy, and the was quite a visible amount of mildew on the floor outside of the shower.
The free breakfast had many choices of eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, potatoes, and DIY waffles, as well as continental breakfast items.

Walls are very thin. Very noisy. You can hear every conversation through the connecting room door. We unfortunately had a screaming toddler for much ofcth night along with their parents arguing. Reminds me of an old renovated beach hotel. Bathroom needs updating. It was ok for one night but if you want rest this isn’t the place.

Decent location with restaurants and the beach a short walk away. The hotel is tired. We had a good time, but our room was in need of a reno. TV was small and broken, beds were uncomfy and had squeeky springs. Bathroom is simply in need of a gut. Worst part, there was an adjoined room where you could hear almost everything next door (simple conversation, loud children, tv).

This would be a good hotel for a lot of families, but surprised the online reviews were positive given our experience.

The property is nice and the staff is great. I didn’t get the room type that I reserved. I paid to be close to the pool but got put out by the parking lot. We also used them for transportation which was a total mess. They were late taking us to the cruise port and late picking us up. I would stay at the hotel again though.

Upgraded to an ocean view suite so that was nice. We were literally only there for one night before a cruise so didn’t get to use room much but it was comfortable. Modern style furniture but no safety deposit box which was unusual. The outside corridors could probably do with a bit of updating, looking rather tired now.
Nice pool area with a lazy river but pretty noisy and busy in the afternoon. Some rooms opened onto this area. Would suit families but I would not of liked this type of room.
Nice little bar that sold very reasonably priced drinks and cocktails. Had a good food menu.
Breakfast was adequate buffet style, pretty good choice. The reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Great for a one night stay.

Hotel was nice & clean. However the key cards to the room had to get reprogrammed almost every day we were there. The beds and pillows were not comfortable what so ever. Also if you don’t want to get woken up by screaming kids playing outside your door at 6am I recommend not staying on the ground floor by the lobby

Great location for pre and post cruise stay. Took an uber here from Sanford international airport to stay overnight. Last river, nice pool area with lots of chairs in sun or shade. Cornhole and other games. Free beach chairs and bikes. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and beach. Rooms are older and not soundproofed but the rest made up for it. Post cruise we got day passes through ResortPass.com until our flight. They have an onsite grill with food and drinks near pool. Closed in Monday’s and Tuesday’s wish I would have know that prior to day pass but still great.

Honestly, the overall stand out is the vibe of this friendly little place! It feels like \"Customer Appreciation Day\" every day! Especially on Fridays when those getting on a cruise ship the next day check in. Live music, corn hole games, sandy area for kids, a bar for the adults and a lazy river for all! After dark the movie starts on the outdoor screen.
This place is older and it does show it's age...however, all the positive things make up for that. I think every room is a suite, giving one plenty of space to spread out. There's a mini fridge, a microwave, full size kitchen sink, coffee maker. They have a laundry too, which we took advantage of during our 21 days away from home. We will definitely stay here again. And if I could, I'd love to give a shout out to Lou at the front desk! She was a pleasure to interact with. I would only warn others off the shuttle to the cruise port. It's provided by a company that services several hotels and it doesnt always go smoothly. Save your headaches and take an Uber. Once again, thank you to all, we'll see you next time.

The rooms. They need to renovate, and to get rid of kitty litter smells, as well as the constsnt mold and damp smells in rooms. Toilets often clog. Fresh coat of paint is needed.

The outside amenities are great. And fries at duck dive is fantastic.

The hotel is cute, small property which makes it easy to find everyone lol, a lot to do for kids, little beach area, grass with games right by the pool, the pool is super fun! On check in we received $20 food vouchers which we used to purchase lunch at the bar. The room itself is very spacious, we had the onebedroom suite with living room, it was clean but definitely needs some updates here and there

Our stay here was awesome. Staff was very friendly and professional. I was impressed with the overall resort. Loved the lazy river, the corn hole game was our favorite. Friendly staff. Solid beach motel but the room is pretty dated. The pool area is pretty unique and the outdoor bar area with music and a giant led screen was cool. We played Cornhole out there and then walked next door to the Starbucks and shops. Pretty easy beach access and breakfast was definitely better than most places. Would stay again.

The people were great but this hotel is in serious need of a refurb, the rooms are lousy, dated and uncomfortable, I seriously considered leaving straight away, but I had no alternatives and I was only booked for 1 night. The number and frequency of 5* reviews for a hotel this size suggests that there is something fishy going on, and the pictures do not represent what the hotel looks like now, I think they are from a different decade.

This place is a motel and not a hotel.We booked a deluxe room but given a standard room on first floor opening to the parking lot open to outsiders. Very old out dated building that was like an old motel. They did not accommodate changing the room even when we said we don’t feel safe staying here with 2 ladies . We had a break in when we were in bed at 10 pm. Thankfully we had the latch. A guy opened our door I don’t know how trying to come in.We yelled and he took off. We called the front desk they sent security , he saw him trying to open other room doors and called the police . They did nothing for our protection other than rekeying . We moved furniture to secure our door and stayed up all night. In the morning when we asked the front desk she did not know anything, nothing was reported and sounded very normal to her. While we were explaining to her she continued looking at her computer screen and working. No sympathy, no excuses nothing at all. It was a horrible experience.

We stayed at Beachside Hotel & Suites for two nights before our cruise.

Pros:
The location is excellent: steps from the beach, grocery stores, and pharmacies, with easy access to the cruise terminal and Kennedy Space Center. The heated pool and lazy river are great, with sandy and turf areas for kids. The courtyard-style pool area keeps traffic noise out. Décor is nice, free coffee and tea are available all day, breakfast options are decent, and the staff was friendly and hardworking. The resort was very busy with many families, giving it more of a resort vibe than a standard hotel.

Cons:
Unfortunately, our room appeared clearly neglected. We found hair in the bed cover, rodent droppings in a corner, and a dead cockroach under the shelf above the toilet. We didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. The AC was hard to adjust and blew cold air directly over the bed. Ventilation was poor, with constant humidity, window condensation, and a musty/moldy smell. The window couldn’t be opened, so fresh air required opening the front door, exposing the room to dust and cigarette smoke. The mini fridge was badly rusted and overdue for replacement. Food and drinks at the pool bar were also overpriced.

We didn’t complain since it was only a two-night stay, but recent negative reviews are legitimate. The hotel clearly needs major renovations. Sadly, we won’t stay here again for future cruises.

The rooms are turned over so quickly that the floors don’t get cleaned completely. Jennifer at the front desk is a godsend. Never lose her. She keeps that front desk flowing and organized.
The elevator needs to be cleaned.
