This motel is great for a one-night last-min ski trip. You get what you pay for. No frills and the rooms are outdated but the location was great for skiing and a fraction of the cost of everything else around. I will definitely be back.

This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was never around. The ice machine in the Lodge had no ice. The so-called breakfast was pathetic: no coffee, no juice, and disgusting curdled cream cheese was in the fridge. There was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom and the microwave in the room did not work. The pool was out of service, but that was never disclosed at booking. The lodge door is open to anyone to come inside 24 hours a day with no security. The sheets had hair in them. I wish I could get a refund.

I waited for almost 30 mins for someone to come to the office so I could check in. I called and text and no one would respond.
I stayed in the lodge and so much was broken or shutdown. The breakfast area was filthy and disgusting. The coffee machine was even broken. If i could post pictures i would because i took many.

The sink didn't drain well. The floor had red stains on it. Fingernail clippings were on the floor. Bathroom floor was sticky. I couldn't stand the thought of taking a shower. Room was not bright. I couldn't understand much of what the receptionist was saying.

Older hotel that was clean and well maintained. Gopi, our host, was friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding was clean and soft. Plenty of hot shower water too. As noted by others, the continental breakfast is minimal, the “baked” goods looked old and I don’t recommend the coffee. Very watery and stale tasting. Fresh fruit of bananas, apples and mandarin oranges was a nice touch, though. Careful as you step up to the lodge for breakfast as there are large loose tiles. I didn’t notice poor quality WiFi as I didn’t use theirs. Nice location and very nice views of the creek behind the hotel.

This hotel is better than sleeping in the car. Barely. It was old and worn. The WiFi was terrible. The lamps in the room didn’t work.

Luckily my wife was not with my son and I, or she would have refused to stay here. The desk person was never available for assistance.

Do not stay here unless your only other option is sleeping in car or on cardboard under a bridge.

Our bedroom was right above the rec room that had a pool table, and unfortunately one family started playing pool from 9pm till long after 10pm, which was very disturbing.

The property is falling apart. The \"Lodge\" is musty smelling and in poor repair. The \"heated\" pool was being filled with a gareden hose and also smelled musty and old. Our room had smears of I do not know waht on the walls. Mirrora and microwave were dirty. Wifi did not work. Parking lot was noisy all night.... mind you this is our in the middle of nowhere. We tried to cancel our second night and were told we couldn't. $380 for 2 nights. We only stayed one and will never stay again. This dive motel is ill representes on Travelocity.

The Wi-Fi definitely did not work. The seat on the toilet bowl was in need of repair. Also, we put the sign out on the door requesting cleaning service and it never got done but then we discovered the reason was, according to the employee, someone had removed the sign from our door and thrown it onto the ground nearby. Also the room tiny tiny tiny little room the whole place was very tiny but it's in the middle of gorgeous area so that's why they charge so much money with this miniscule room.

The air conditioner and refrigerator were off when we arrived in 90 degree weather. Were told Oops, some turned off the switch at the door that controls those outlets, unmarked. Bed was uncomfortable. Curtains available covered the air conditioner but blides were not available on a while facing east. No ice available in their machines.

SMOKERS EVERYWHERE. This is a local flop House where locals stay for long extended periods of time and they smoke outside at all hours of the night slamming their doors you will get absolutely no sleep and you will leave with lung cancer.

Creepy experiences with unsafe setting. The worst stay ever, when i arrived back from dinner at 1020PM, it was very dark outside and this guy was bouncing a basketball late night and then rolled it my way. Freaked me out!! It was the staff member who checked me in but initially I had no idea.. I only stayed one night and checked out 3 days early! I explained what happened and the motel REFUSED to refund the nights that i did noy stay there. 1 STAR, stay away!

Decent, classic roadside motel.

Stonybrook is a classic roadside motel. I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's in decent shape. Sure, it could use some paint and a refresh on furnishings, but I found it clean and comfortable enough in a quiet and attractive setting. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was pretty lame. The coffee was terrible. Still, I'd return.

The property is poorly kept. Paont is peeling off everything. Flooring is coming up at the lodge. The paint in the room ia peeling, the floor was dirty, we found two dirty towels, the mattress xocer was dirty, the shower was dirty. There is no actual breakfast. There is BLACK MOLD in the lodge in the ceiling. I actually felt gross staying there. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, motels and lodges. I took lots of pictures.

We are still waiting on a refund status for this stay. When we arrived, the signage at the front desk started no pets, though online it said that dogs were allowed. The additional pet charge was also not posted, once it was determined that pets were in fact allowed. When given our room number, we were greeted by the guest next door who was chain smoking outside the door. We brushed off the smell and went to the room only to find that the wifi did not work and the tv service was out. The fruit flies in the room we're an additional unwelcome surprise. We tried to go to the pool for a swim, and found the pool area down to rough concrete, the pool extremely dirty, and a pile of toenails at the deep end ladder. Gross. We left for the day and activities, thinking that they tv and internet problems would be fixed by the time we returned. Wrong! The Internet was still malfunctioning and we were told to simply use an unsecure open connection instead of having the problem fixed. Spoiler alert- the Internet did not work at any point during our stay. The tv also went out again with no resolve on that. After a total of two hours physically being on the property, or was clear that it was not clean or safe. We let front desk know we would be leaving immediately and not returning until the health and cleanliness standards were improved. So much for a weekend away, we drive the two hours back home. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing and gross.

Cute little stay. Very friendly staff. Rooms are dated but clean and very much served the purpose of sleeping and showering after intense hiking. Did not get to experience the breakfast because we were out on the trails before service. Rooms had mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Will certainly stay again because of location to popular hikes in Franconia!

Was a drive by visit . Was late entering. Room was clean. Room: toliet handle was broken so for three guest you had to be sure handle caught or constant draining occurred. Was three in room and not enough bath essentials:wash cloths.
Continental breakfast: started at 7am. We were there at 7am:
Drink: coffee or milk. Coffee drinker in group was stating it was terrible and threw it out….quite unlikely for her to do! Other two : non coffee or milk drinkers-and juice machine broken.
Otherwise white bread or one flavor bagel—not a plain one. Felt choices for breakfast could have been better if charging includes a breakfast I wouldn’t eat!

It's a fine line between having a place that is a classic vs dated. This one unfortunately feels somewhat more on the dated side. We had some problem with noisy (and weed smoking) neighbors, but the front desk did get them to quiet down after we called a 2nd time. There were some nice things, such as the surprising availability of an indoor pool. Breakfast was in a word, pathetic. Overall it was ok, but I'd say there are better options abailable in the area.

We made a last minute decision to hike . The motel was 10 minutes from where we wanted to be . It was very reasonably priced .
We were welcomed and check in was easy
Breakfast was offered but we left early in the morning so we didn’t go eat . The place was a little dated but it looked like they were fixing it up and it was clean so that is what matters .
We had a good night’s rest .

This motel was a good value for the area. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I understand that this motel is dated and I don’t really care about that. What I don’t like is when a hotel is dirty. I feel like there is not a lot of attention to detail. Things in the room should be repaired like floor tiles and bathroom wall after an issue. Bed was not neat and well made. Floor and furniture had crumbs and not well vacuumed. Very dusty everywhere. Curtains needed washing. Outside snow and ice removal was unsafe. Steps to Lodge not shoveled and icy. Breakfast area not appealing at all. Good business practice is to pay attention to the little details!

Needed an inexpensive stay that was close to my day trip to Flume Gorge. This fit the bill. Room was clean but dated. Bed was comfortable. Internet was practically non-existent. Breakfast was unremarkable. Checking in and out was easy. Bethlehem was close by so dining options weren’t far way. If stay here again if a good night’s sleep is all I needed

Positives: free parking, check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, and the area was really quiet. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was nicely lit. Room has a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There’s a nice heated pool (didn’t use it).

Areas that could be improved: breakfast was a bit disappointing; soiled bed cover; room didn’t have a full-body mirror; shower was quite small, felt a bit cramped; far from any walkable restaurants, had to drive out to grab some dinner.

Booked a queen room. Charged for a queen room. Given a full. My husbands 6'2\" 200lbs im 5'3\" 120. Very uncomfortable bed. Bathroom shower smaller than a phone booth. Door locked on me. I was stuck in the lieu for 20 min. Until my husband came back with coffee.breakfast was cereal. At night someone was tapping on the windows and doors.
