The parking lot was secured (gate) at night with guest access. My room was beyond an additional security door- I felt very safe. Towels replaced daily- trash taken out. Bed was comfortable. I would describe everything as Nice.

While checking in the employee, who I believe is either the owner or possibly the owners family decided to judge my girlfriend and I, essentially acting as if we just came in off the streets. Then continued by telling us and I quote “we don’t take online banks for the deposit you can pay cash at XYZ hotel” after I clearly stated we would just need to move funds around really
Quickly to use my credit card. Then asked to physically view the card before to I don’t know, check to see if I was that stupid and didn’t know what credit cards I have? He was condescending and rude. Acting as if his low budget motel was the ritz and not a pay by the hour spot for the girls walking and working just a block away.

The room was terrible. Smelled of bad air freshener to cover up whatever was dying or had died in the room previously. The tv was off the wall and the remote had no rear cover. There was a massive blob of paint and or white repair putty on the shelving under the tv, which had many stains and other items stuck forever cured into the pile of which their origins are forever unknown. Bathroom was dirty. Was told at the front their skimpy 2 towels being dirty would cost us the deposit as well as if we smoked in the room, and I’m guessing he did not mean cigarettes, once again showing his firm believe we were some trash people and didn’t deserve to stay in his horrid accommodations. All the dispensers in the bathroom even the ones stuck to the shower were old hand soap dispensers

Customer service was fantastic, but cleanliness wasn’t that great, did notice a small roach on our second night there. Everything is a bit old and worn down, rust in the bathroom on the screws, toilet wobbles a bit, towels are very small, bed wasn’t remade and soap was replenished.

The jetted tub didn’t work, the shower curtain rod was held up by a folded up coffee cup on one side, prostitues very close to hotel, hair and food crumbs were on “clean bedding”, mini fridge wasn’t very cold, tv didn’t work, tv remote didn’t have batteries when I got there, bed linens had burn marks and or stains, bath towels didn’t absorb any water when trying to dry off. Staff was very friendly but this was an expensive hotel for being in trashy area of shoreline. I regret staying at this hotel!

Great stay. Clean, very quiet. Check early was no problem. Night manager was also a pleasure to talk with. Staff was very good. Just a great experience. I offered to pay $100.00 dollar deposit in cash so there wouldn't be a 3 day hold on my card, however that wasnt good enough for management. So now im short $100.00 dollars on a 2 day trip. I hope i have enough gas to make it 600 miles. That's my only complaint. Why charge my card for $100.00 dollars if its not needed. A $1 dollar charge is industry standard. My advice is PAY CASH. Then pick it up when you leave

\"budget\" accomodation, (at least for Seattle), property was old and showing it but room was clean, bed was comfortable. No wildlife on mattress or furniture. Skimpy on towels and amenities, about what you would expect at this price point. Carpet in hallways is worn out, dirty, and outdated. It's okay if you're not fussy and just want a place to sleep. It was on notorious Aurora Avenue, but I did not observe any sketchy activity at or around the location.

We were there for my 3year olds brain appointment and I had a 7 year old as well and the first room we were put in my son picked up a old big underwear that were under the sink and then the second room we were put in had no working ac and it was in the 90s we were sweating all night then the light wasn’t working and the cord that plugged into the wall was half way melted and the rags by the broken coffee machine said for cleaning in black sharpie. They also had plug ins that didn’t work. When I asked for a refund thru the 3rd party they diened didn’t give me a discount and they said they next time I stay there they would upgrade my room. I drove almost 5 hours away and I couldn’t go anywhere else due to the room being non refundable at the time of booking. They could have approved the refund for the horrible experience and disgusting service. They knew I was there for my 3year olds brain mri and they made the night before her appointment even harder then it already is being a single mom and dealing with everything alone then having to stay in a hotel like that was so disappointing

I would not stay here again. There was black mold in the bathroom which was my biggest concern. It was clean otherwise, just old. My favorite thing about the hotel is it had duvet covers that they wash more than hotels with bedspreads I hope. The sheets, pillows and duvet were nice enough. My other complaint would be there was no cleaning of the rooms. I think they took dirty wash cloths one day but didn’t replace them. They didn’t empty the trash. There was only one ice machine for the entire place.

What a sh*t show.

Well... when my aunt & I first arrived the toilet wouldnt flush properly & the sink was leaking quite badly. We had a puddle from it leaking. We let the front desk know, they did nothing. The jetted tub in our room was disgusting and once again I had no help from the staff. Finally, we got back to our room late friday night to zero parking spots and multiply cars with no parking pass. We told front desk and he told us to park in a creepy spot down the street. He also made another group of women park there. It was ridiculous how little help the front desk was. We also never saw housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights and they gave us 1 roll of TP.

It was great. We got the hot tub room and it was wonderful for our anniversary of 14 years. There's a cute bar near by called the hidden door. If you are looking just for a staycation with a romantic hot tub and a cute bar to go to... Highly recommend!

Staying at the Americas INN at Shoreline Washington is close by the places I visited, like Bruce and Brandon Lee's Grave, Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the bike trails: Interurban trail and Burke-Gilman trail. Also, not far if a drive to Bellevue and Bothell. Not too far to Costco, Safeway, Walgreens as well.

As far as my room goes, it's pretty clean, except for some bugs lingering in the shower.

Just need a place to sleep and shower without breaking the bank. Americas INN fits the bill.

Bed was horribly stiff with huge, overly firm pillows. There was a light that didn’t turn off and flickered throughout the night. There was no battery in the smoke detector. Bathroom was run down.

On the plus side it was quiet and clean.

I wasn’t expecting much based on the cost, but I still wouldn’t stay here again in the same scenario (a minimal cost spot to sleep near Seattle).

I have come to have low expectations when getting low priced hotel rooms, and normally i can deal with it. But upon doing my bedbug inspection, i was absolutely mortified to see that the mattress looked like several crimes had been comitted on it! I didnt find bed bugs thank god! But if the mattress had had a bed bug sealed cover on it pike the box spring did, id not be giving this review! The front desk clerk was so busy and friendly, i chose not to bother him, i saw a cheap vinyl mattress cover at fred meyer diwn the street and chose to put that extra layer between my body and the mattress for my peace of mind.

It worked, and i give big kudos to the quietness of the property. I slept like a log, and I woke up without any bites! Or any signs of bugs at all.

My other big complaint is the shower wasnt very clean, but i travel with shower shoes thank god! To me a hotel is 100% a place to sleep and shower, and considering the price and friendliness of the desk clerk, i feel guilty for rating so low, but im being honest so others are aware!

The floor in the bathroom should have more traction. I was nervous about going there when it was wet. There was no way to add a mat because the door was close to the floor. If I could rate this property <0, I would do so. First and foremost, check-in was a nightmare. Apparently when you PREPAY a large amount of money beforeyou ever set foot on the property, the management have some obtuse policy which allows them the discretionary ability to disallow said payment and force an individual to PAY AGAIN IN FULL prior to being granted lodging. Which is a bit of an unnecessary struggle at 1am when your flight arrives late and other extenuating circumstances beyond your control cause your late arrival These people made an already bad situation decidedly worse.

Did I mention that I'm Trans? I believe that my appearance played more than a minor role in their juxtaposition. Regardless, after a FIVE HOUR check-in process I finally obtained a bleak room already occupied by a nomadic band of aggressive cockroaches that reeked of cigarettes and cocoa butter lotion. (The room, not the cockroaches.) I stayed far enough away that I could not properly say how the cockroaches smelled. Safe to say they were horrific in any iteration.

After struggling thru a heroic two day stay which required a Herculean effort to manage my way thru, I left. Abandoning the remaining time left on my reservation and I would've reserved comment on this property had they not STOLEN My SECURITY DEPOSIT on the grounds of SMOKING IN THE ROOM!!

I make good money and am not seeking recompense thru this review, if that were my last few dollars, would be furious. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

I've booked rooms here previously for my husband's short visits but this is the first time I stayed here. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was for the price and how clean it was. The room had two beds, the one I slept in was comfortable, the bedding was clean and no holes. Even though the motel is older and not in a super nice area it was really well maintained and clean.
