Loft providing the amenities.
Angela
Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were deliciously comfortable. I appreciated that they had both firm and fluffy pillows and soft cotton sheets. The room was pretty. We were not bothered at all by sound from the neighborhood pub downstairs (I was worried when I saw it, but it was not a problem at all). I will definitely stay here again.

Slight more detail must be paid to the corners of the room for crumbs and the blanket for long hair (someone else's). No coffee during my stay and a bit noisy.
otherwise this was good for me as it was close to the Neptune, other shops and places to eat and the light rail line. Thank you.

I had a great stay at College Inn Hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. The overall atmosphere made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Maia

Michael
easy, good location

Easy check in and check out. Completely contactless. Which helped as we had very late arrival and early departure
Maidina
Great location, clean room , and promptly responded to my message.
Erin
You can’t go wrong with the College Inn. It’s closer to UW campus than my Husky’s dorm! The staff are kind and responsive. It has an amazing, huge loft common area with comfy seating areas, big tables, fridge, sink, and coffee/tea,

Second time staying here and won’t be my last. It truly is a European Style Inn, which I find charming. It is very clean with a comfortable bed. The linens were good, not those horrible polyester sheets. Good towels too. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Free coffee and tea upstairs and rooms have smart tv’s so you can watch what you want.
Plus, the price is always very good.

It was all electronic. Check in and checking out. They give you pass codes. For a country person that was new to us. It was clean, staff was nice and helpful. Good place to stay.
Kelsey
Good place to rest at the end of the day if you're on the go! It's cozy, but not bad. Also in a great location for walkability.
Kelsey
A nice place to rest at the end of the day if you're on the go! By plenty of great food options as well as transportation.
Kristina
Just what I needed for a short trip near campus.
Gary
Very nice hotel - we really enjoyed our stay - we will definitely stay there again. Staff were really friendly and accommodating- great location. I have no hesitation in recommending the Collage Inn. It is not the Hilton for sure but that is why we enjoyed it so much

It was a clean, nice room in a very cute building. The European style room with shared bathroom was no problem at all. The upstairs loft was the best part about this stay.

The room, the restroom, and the rest are clean. The staff in person was great and the one on the phone was kind and helpful. The service was excellent. The location is close to the Hospital, the UW. The university is right there and markets and restaurants around the area. I would highly recommend.

room was not ready when we arrived even though we arrived a few hours after even late check out. building was not as advertised.

The room was nice. Hostel style with shared bathroom was something I hadnt done in a long time but the bathroom was spotless. On hitch was I did not receive my check-in code prior to arrival but service was quick to rectify.
Sandra
Parking lacked. Had to do public pay parking which was difficult to find in the dark Then had to walk the few blocks back to the inn. Room and bed comfortable. Quiet.

The complete Hotel was a great experience for us… The building was incredible. The staff was very friendly. The loft area was well stocked. A great place to hang out in the lounging chairs…

My wife and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom, and we feel that this was a nice place to stay for two nights. (Note however that there's no room that is accessible without using stairs.)
The room was rather simple but clean and comfortable. Hot coffee was available even in the evening in the common kitchen area. The location is very convenient for visiting UW, the surrounding area is vibrant but not too noisy, yummy food at reasonable prices in walking distance.
There was one gotcha moment for us, we didn't have an unlock code to open the entrance door on arrival and there was nobody at the front desk. I searched for the code everywhere on my cellphone, but nothing. We quickly gave up, called the front desk number and a friendly staff came down to help, and that turned out to be the right thing to do. When we made a reservation we chose to pay on arrival, and the code was issued only after the staff scanned my credit card. If you experience something similar, just call.

Clean room near UW. Make sure to get parling if you need it.

Awesome!
Elizabeth
Great location and cute room. Did not know it was a shared bathroom down the hall. However, bathroom facilities were super clean. Walls amd floors very thin so a bit noisy. Thankfully guests were quite respectful of eachother and not a big deal. Nice place overall
Katharine
We loved our stay at this historic Seattle hotel. Definitely not a cookie cutter chain hotel experience! Very affordable and easy to get to via the light rail.
Solomona
The customer service was excellent. I loved the free drinks and comfort of the beds. We’ll stay there again.
Jason
The collagen is clean and quiet with historical art on the walls. There is no elevator, but it’s an old historic building that has great charm.

We stayed here to take a tour of U of W. Enjoyed the location and the room was comfortable.
Jerry
They don't have someone at the front desk. Text them and they will come down and let you in, and set you up so you can enter on your own once you commit to staying. The place doesn't have any elevators so be aware of this if it's an issue.
Felicity
Yes, and parking was interesting lol
Dorothy
This is the hotel most convenient to the University of Washington and that adds great value. The double room with sink snd shared bath was comfortable and clean. There are lots of student eateries, but one needs to get an Uber for finer dining.
Ezra
Great Place to stay in Seattle or surrounding area. Not too bad but a lot to do and quick apparel options. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a quick and fast paced travel.
Michelle
Walking distance to UW stadium and campus. Lots of places to eat. Great stay overall!

Would stay again - great safe location at UW
Eating choices nearby were great and so was transit with the flixbus long distance blocks away and same with the lrt.
Rooms were quaint yet cozy thou no AC so had to rely on fans to stay cool. Shared bathroom and showers were kind of meh though in suite lav sink was there for brushing of teeth n grooming.
Would repeat as it is in a great location away from dt and limited exposures to sketchy crowds as mostly students living nearby.

Unique hotel experience. Not the best to have to schlep suitcases up and down as there is no elevator

Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful! Just right on the corner of the campus, close to all facilities. Recommend to parents or short term visitors for sure!
Chong
The reception was very kind and helpful even during late night check in. The top floor common area was very nice with free water and coffee. I wish they had a hair dryer in the room.
Merlin
We upgraded to the bedroom with the bathroom and the room was super cute. It was clean. One thing we didn’t like was no AC just a fan but it wasn’t terrible. Everyone was friendly.
Erin
You can’t beat the proximity to UW main campus and the Link.
Jason
Very cozy and nice, extremely convenient near the Rail Station and nearby eats! I will say the extra fans provided really helped and staff went above and beyond to help us even after hours when its just for emergencies. We really appreciated that, will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Ruth
Great location!

It is a quaint place to stay. It is an extremely convenient, walkable and a quiet location. Using a pass code to enter the inn and our room was awesome. The upstairs common area with kitchenette facilities was a unique and very convenient surprise touch. The one drawback for me was the thin walls and being awakened at 6 am on a Sunday morning by some loud person banging shower doors as they got ready in the morning.
Trenton
Housekeeper walked into our room while
Amanda
I stayed in a room with the bathroom down the hall. During my 3 day stay there no one else was in the bathroom while I was using it so it felt like my own large bathroom! The loft on the 4th floor provided a kitchen with full size frog and all the needed kitchen items, much better than what is available at a motel!
Cynthia
College Inn Hotel is exactly what it claims to be. There were no surprises for us. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the fresh air with open windows at night was perfect. We never encountered anyone in the bathroom and enjoyed having our own sink, towels, and blow dryer in bedroom. The location was perfect for our needs. Thank you!
KORALP
Never again…
The room I stayed in smelled of mold. There were 2 room fragrances on, it was overwhelming. I tried to open the window to air the room but the window was just over the kitchen’s vent.
There was a tower air cooler/vent in the room, the filter probably has never been replaced, you could see large chunks of dust abd debris.
The carpet looked very dirty and had black smudges on it. It was a very difficult and disturbing stay for me.
The only benefit it had was it’s location as I had an interview with UW.
They should definitely consider closing the hotel a couple of months and seriously renovate the building.
Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Very nice spot
Great location. Cute hotel. Check-in was a little confusing as you cannot enter the hotel without someone letting you in which is kind of unusual but once we understood that it was all good. The room was nice and very comfortable. The shared bathroom was no issue.
Cyrus
It is a beautiful hotel in a good location. ONLY FOR YOUNGER PEOPLE. There is NO ELEVATOR. We had a TON of luggage we had to carry upstairs. No where downstairs to store luggage. Was comfy, pretty, and safe. No AC but the windows were nice and cool. Ran by college students.
donald
It was very quiet and peaceful, close to shopping too.
Karl
Great service and location!
Richard
It would have been helpful to have known there was no lift available as 2 of our group of 5 had a very difficult time with handling the stairs.
Andrew
I liked that it was on the canpus so it was near a lot of places to get food and transportation.
Sidney
We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, and it was a fun, unique experience. The bathroom and showers were very clean- and I appreciated having a key code for the women’s bathroom.
This is a great, historic hotel!

It’s historic place which we like.
There’s no private restroom and elevator. I understand.
Btw. Every time we walk by the window , the floor is squeaking.

A lovely old-fashioned inn
This is a delightful, old-fashioned inn. Although the property is old it is in good condition ( except for creaky floorboards). Everything has been updated and even the shared bathroom is sparkling clean. The location is great: just around the corner from the Meany Center. It would not be accessible for someone with major mobility problems, but otherwise it's a great choice.

We lived the comfortable bed and luxurious bed linens as well as the small but functional bathroom. The coffee shop just outside the front door has great coffee and Ye College Pub was fun with good drink choices.

Not your typical hotel
Unexpected that it was a hotel with shared bathrooms, didn't realize this was the case when I booked. Excellent location, right at the end of the U of W campus. Pub, restaurants, and coffee below the hotel. Uses a pin to get into the front door and your room (rather than card keys). Microwave and fridge available in the common space. Relatively low cost. No frills, great for a singlr traveler with twin bed options. Not your typical hotel, there are a few trade offs that, in my opinion, are well worth it for a business trip.
Serhii
Great place, thank you!
Claudia
It was an antique hotel built in 1909.
The bedroom was nice and clean, but it did not have a bathroom inside the bedroom. There was a shared bathroom at the other end of the hallway, which made it very uncomfortable.
It didn’t have an elevator either and it was very difficult to get the luggage to the 3rd floor. There was no air conditioning either. In other words, I wish it was more clearly specified when I made the reservation because I would never had booked something so inconvenient.

This hotel is so bad, no bathroom,it’s so inconvenient, you need to the public bathroom at night, and the door couldn’t closed well, so scared. And the price was different with my order, I didn’t know why it was?
Nantapat
I stayed on Apr 13-15, 2025 got room 214 as soon as get into room I can smell like in the kitchen of restaurant down stair in the room and bother me every time. Bed was nice and comfy, because of hotel (building) was old you can hear everything from neighbors, wood cranking when you walked or open-close door room. Other than that I felt safe every rooms has code to unlock the door and even shared bathroom. If you want to sleep in after 8 you will not get to sleep you can hear trash truck behind hotel. No parking guests need to park on street (pay) which is not bad for the price.
Patricia
Great location close to the University of Washington

Always enjoy College Inn. Great value and convenient for UW work. The Ave is a mess tho...
Lee
This hotel’s proximity to UW is fantastic. For anyone wanting to see the cherry blossoms or if you have a student attending UW, it’s a great location.
Yes they are truly a European style hotel, with some rooms with shared baths, but our room with a full bath was very, very comfortable. The keyless entry for both the front door and room door worked perfectly. Staff was very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed Agua Verde for dinner, and Saint Bread for breakfast - all within a short walk from the hotel. I’ll be returning!

Consider considering the Location and the Price and the quaintness of the hotel it's a good deal. For those who are picky, their arms are a little small, could've used better heating system and another garbage can

Ease of check in and check out. Proximity to campus
