What a beautiful hotel! With its traditional Balinese architecture, we felt transported. The property sits on the beach and offers an enormous swimming pool. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the proximity to the airport makes it an easy first or last stop on any trip to Bali.

We love everything about this peaceful resort. The traditional architecture is gorgeous, the room is spacious, the garden is immaculate, the staff are lovely, the pool is stunning, and the hotel is right on the beach which is safe for swimming.
It is great value for money . It is a little dated and tired, but for us that is part of the charm. The nearby resorts may be more modern with up-to-date facilities, but Keraton feels like the real Bali.

Un hôtel magnifique sur la plage de Jimbaran

Nous sommes venus avec mon mari, il y a 17 ans et nous sommes revenus cette année avec nos enfants sur cet hôtel du keraton qui n’a rien à envier aux gros complexes voisins. Un hôtel à l’architecture Balinaise magnifique, un emplacement idéal entre piscine et mer de Jimbaran, des couchers de soleil sublimes accompagnés des cerfs volants des enfants balinais et des départs de bateaux de pêche en soirée; un véritable spectacle. Le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable, disponible et serviable.
Un petit bémol sur la carte du restaurant qui pourrait être plus attrayante mais on peut facilement déjeuner et dîner sur les Warung de la plage tous sympas. En revanche, le breakfast de l’hôtel est parfait !
La cerise sur le gâteau, vous pouvez vous faire masser sur la plage ou bien chez Rosa qui est adorable et masse merveilleusement bien (si vous êtes en duo, son amie Maria a aussi des mains de fées)
Si vous hésitez pour un hôtel à Jimbaran alors n’hésitez plus vous serez enchantés

This is a tired property, staff are nice but not very with it. Sometimes get the room cleaned, sometimes not.
Needs a major overhaul to bring it back to 4 star.
Location was very nice and quiet, centralised between Nusa Dua and Kuta.

Although the property is a tad dated but with amazing history character amd beautiful gardens .. .. the maintenance and cleanliness is exceptional .. they are recovering from the pandememic and doing an amazing job
. The service food and rooms are beautiful .. and relaxing .. the staff are beautiful and amazingly helpful and friendly .. walking distance to facilities like ATM .. etc ..
The beach is right there with hundreds of fish cafes .
I cannot recommendreccomend this place highly enough ..
The pool is beautiful and huge and the laughter is everywhere .
The staff know our names after a week and we know thiers ..
The night markets are fun and right next door ..
Rosa gives the best massage and bought us special fruit treats .
So safe and relaxed and they even helped us out when we got our dates wrong ..
Outstanding by all accounts !!

Balinese character on a pretty beach

This place is filled with Balinese character, the decor is fantastic and there is an impressive bonsai tree collection on the perfectly manicured grounds. The pool is beautiful too. There's direct access to the beach, where it's white sands and plenty of sun loungers were available when I was there. You can see daily local life pass by which was nice. It seems like the hotel is generally past its 'hey day' and it's a little bit dated but everything was working ok and clean. The room was spacious, with an ornate front door and I had a lovely terrace. You could almost hear the waves from the terrace. Subject to availability you can stay past check out for 100k IR per hour. The only thing I didn't love about the hotel was that receptionist kept reminding me that I owed them money for a late check out even when we had agreed at check in that I would pay on check out. Excellent choice if you want to avoid a trafficked route to the airport (~10 mins on a Sat at 4pm).

Look, this place is cheap and has spa and restaurant. It’s perfect for what it is. It’s a quieter part of town in general so don’t blame the resort for being on the sleepier side. The reviews complaining about bugs….there are bugs everywhere in Bali….get use to it. I enjoyed my stay here and especially loved the breakfast. Recommend!

Great beach location.

The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable.
The gardens were well maintained.
The location is excellent with direct access to the beach.
The resort is old and needs major updating. Breakfast was average and the restaurant had a very minimal menu. We ate there twice out of necessity and both times food took forever and came out cold. There seemed to be a small amount of guests staying there so there was no vibe around the resort.

Lovely hotel to stay in Jimbaran

The Keraton Hotel ticked all the boxes. The staff were excellent- friendly and efficient. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Good choice of breakfasts . Pool and garden area was large and well tended ( including a wonderful bonsai collection). Close to the Main Street and backed onto Jimbaran beach, which is a beautiful beach - white sand, clean, great for swimming, and many good places to eat very close
I will definitely stay there again when I return to Bali

Location on the beach was fantastic, very relaxing. Staff & food were ok, but expected better. Check in was fine, except that they were not very clear on the cost of transport to airport when we booked. Told us $20, then charged us in US, but didn't mention it was US. As we had not had any other resort do that in all times I have been to Bali, he should have spoken in Rupiah, or mentioned it was US, especially as we are Australian....and In Bali.

The grounds were very beautiful but rooms needed updating. Bathroom and bed linens were clean but the mosquito netting around the bed needed replacing also, there was a bunch of dust along the railing at the head of the bead. I was bummed that i payed more to book a “Superior” room when actually the “deluxe” rooms were closer to the pool, beach and restaurant. The resort has beautiful sunset views and restaurants food was decent. Spa prices were very expensive compared to other resorts in the area.

We were only in Bali for 1 night on our way back to Australia after a trip to West Papua. We had stayed at Keraton Jimbaran Resort a couple of years ago and were happy with it. So we chose it again. It is perfect for short stays because of its location to the airport. However I would recommend it for long stays too.

Absolutely loved this property - the gardens, the Architecture and the location on the beach. The rooms are dark which took some getting used to as I live in a wall to wall - ceiling to floor south facing glassed in contemporary home however I was only in my room to sleep and the room was wonderfully appointed with Balinese carved Wood Furnishings and canopied bed. I was on the second floor and had a very private balcony overlooking the magnificently, daily tended to, lush gardens. The pool was perfect with a very large wading/cool off section in addition to a large swimming area and there were half a dozen or so seats by the poolside bar. There were countless chaise lounges on the beach with comfortable cushions and a 'fragrant n fluffy' beach/pool towel service. The Breakfast Buffet suited my taste and the Hotel Staff are simply 'lovely' - bottom line - I can't say enough good things about this hotel. That said it is not a shiny contemporary and will not suit the 'South Beach' crowd - it's Beautifully Balinese.

I booked from 15 November to 17 November and then extended an extra day because they property location on the beach was so great, prior to going into Ubud.
Lovely pool, great massage at Le Spa, enjoyed all the food at the restaurant. I would describe the condition as a little shabby elegant but for me that gave the property personality.
Felt totally comfortable as a solo female traveler (i travel solo often).

The hotel has a lovely stretch of beach and is beautifully landscaped. But the rooms are nothing special, you could be anywhere really. But the food was nice, though more expensive than anywhere else we'd stayed. One really annoying thing was the chanting coming from next door (a temple I assume) - but not pleasant or interesting chanting, it was taped, and a really unpleasant sound you just couldn't escape from.

We had a lovely time at the Keraton Jimbaran beach resort. Our rooms were clean, we did clean the shower nozzle out so the water flowed better. The staff were lovely and friendly. The pool could be a nicer colour - instead of blue it is a dull colour, however still lovely especially in the heat. Great location for the beach and seafood restaurants. I would definitely go back, it was good value for the money.

big disapointment as the hotel needs an renovation urgent we saw several rooms and had to take the less worse smelling. Sea and beach been full of plastic rubbish. Jimbaran doesnt offer anything to compensate. Go to Sanur or elsewhere to enjoy Bali.

Plenty restaurants on the beach with a good choice of food and cheaper beer. If ocean is clean from rubbish , then you can swim. Beach long and beautiful, enjoyed our stay. Money exchange rate cheaper, but decent. Motorbikes rent a bit more expensive than on the street.

Close to the beach, but a tired hotel

A very warm welcome and a grand entrance to the hotel, the hotel's garden, pool and beach is lovely. It is a real shame that the rooms are very tired, the bathroom in particular needs an urgent refresh to bring it in line with the price of the hotel.

Cracked bath, poor water pressure, generally cold water etc - at this price point it isn't really acceptable.

The breakfast included was ok, lacking slightly in choice. The hotel's restaurant was 'ok', definitely not brilliant but it was expensive.

The hotel and everything was nice but we had to move to another room because there was a cockroach in our room. Maybe because of the setting of the hotel but still, it could have been cleaned or set up better so no bugs should go into the room. My husband even got bug bites.

We had a wonderful stay here. Rooms were excellent and roomy. Pillows were hard but they changed them for us, no trouble. Gorgeous grounds, well manicured and stunning. Pool was beautiful and close to the beach, restaurant etc and lovely pool bar. Staff were helpful and always smiling. Great choice of food at breakfast. Lunch and dinner were a bit expensive, as were the beers. The entertainment on the beach was great.

Lovely Hotel on Beach

I read previous reviews complaining about beach cleanliness, chairs etc but cannot understand why. This hotel is excellent, the beach is clean, the grounds lovely and the breakfast also excellent. Its lovely to sit in the morning overlooking the sea while eating. The hotel is becoming dated as are most hotels in Bali but has its own atmosphere. There are plenty of beach loungers on the beach and lots of wurrungs and cafes to the right on the beach. We had some tasty seafood meals there for a reasonable price. We would definitely return to the Keraton. I had to ask for a ground floor room after because of a knee injury and finding the stairs difficult. It wasn't as nice as the top floor but easier for us.

This resort has everything you need and on the beach. Breakfasts are a feast! The beach is nice and there a number of great local restaurants along the beach so plenty of options for dinner. Pool is lovely as are sun beds under shade trees on the beach. Spa prices way overpriced compared with other places I stayed.

Lovely Balineses style but very tired

Bathroom very basic, with poor lighting. On plus side the delux room is spacious, even enough space for the two cockroaches we had as visitors.The pool surround was uneven with parasols ripped, although pleasant enough pool with swim up bar. Furniture in dining room was tired with stains on upholstery. Recognising it's on the equator the hotel struggled with ants on the tables. The worst experience was the beach. It was littered with plastic and apart from 2 out of the 6 days the sea at Jimbaran was a mass of plastic. Again this is not a direct fault of the hotel but being advertised as being on the beach you do expect to be able to sunbath and swim in a clean environment. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Beautiful gardens in great beach location

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at the Keraton Jimbaran. Our room was comfortable & quiet. The gardens & grounds are beautiful and kept immaculately. There is a fantastic bonsai garden. The pool was great, big enough with lots of sun loungers, clean & towels included. We loved our buffet breakfast, lots to choose from & the eating area positioned overlooking garden & beach. A great place for people who enjoy a more quite holiday as it's away from night life & shopping. However, just walk out onto the beach for the most beautiful evenings with seafood restaurants lining the shore & very often the most stunning sunsets! Night time at Jimbaran Bay is magical!

Two night stay to end Bali holiday in an area (Jimbaran) we hadn't visited before. Room was fine, aircon could have been cooler. Nice pool with swim up bar however no view of the ocean from the pool due to screens put up to stop wind and sand entering Resort grounds I assume. Disappointing though as these screens were not in pictures advertising Resort. Included breakfast was good. Good location to walk out of the Resort to the beach for sunset seafood on the beach - amazing view of Sunsets.

The rooms were spacious and comfy with cute batik robes and slippers The grounds were lovely ,immaculate and studded with bonsai, some older than me! Pool area gorgeous and comfy. Located on beach. Pleasant staff. Not busy during stay. Breakfast a little dull.repetitive and items that run out not replenished quickly and sometimes not at all even though breakfast has some time to go.
Some areas need redecorating urgently, especially dining areas. Beach fish shack dining about 100 metres away, but no food or shop outlets close by inland.
Beach areas to sides of hotel not cleaned and so filthy after high tide and offshore winds.

hotel is right on beach but secluded from any shopping etc .
Beach is clean in front of the resort but full of garbage 100 yards away.
Overall , pool , the breakfast and nice grounds had us stay 3 nights .
If the bed had been better we would have been much happier.

All staff throughout this resort were friendly and welcoming. Restaurant and bar staff were particularly good. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and cool. The resort's location right on the beach was great for swimming and moving between the sea and the pool.

Long weekend mini break

Hotel is located centrally to shops, airport and beaches. Hotel is looking a little tired but gardens are so bery beautiful. Very friendly staff and always ready to help in any way. Natural stone pool is amazing and very refreshing and the beach is only 15 steps away. Wonderful beach as it's not over crowded and no sprukers to hassle you. Seafood bbqs are dime a dozen along the beach - a must try! Great value for money.

Flies and ants all over the place

Taking 5 star prices for 2 star service. Not worth the visit.
The place is too remote from any activity other than eating seafood and enjoy sunset.
The later is disturbed by loud Germans and Austrians which occupy this hotel

some easy wins

Hotel would have been amazing in its heyday. There are a few easy wins that could improve the hotel dramatically; give guests a resort map on check in and explain where breakfast is, offer bag collection from rooms on check-out and update the linen. Whilst I don't doubt the cleanliness the linen in my room was badly stained.
Outside of this the resort is pleasent and well located.

Right on the beach. Low key and very relaxed

Travelling back to my family in Australia solo and decided to have a jet lag recovery break in Bali. Got in very late from Amsterdam and was exhausted. Staff at front desk were wonderful. So helpful and couldn't be friendlier. Got room service which was yummy (mixed satay). Slept like a log. Woke up with gecko chirping and soft voices outside.
Breakfast was more than you could wish for and took a table outside right next to the beach. Watching the local kids play and the bait fishermen going about their daily business was a joy. So relaxing. Have to say, the bonsai specimens along the walk to breakfast / beach were mind blowing and a testament to the history of the resort as well as the caring gardeners at Keaton, you rock! Had four wonderful nights here.

Restful stay at the hotel

Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel during my five nights there. Food was good. Nice beach (found it better than Padang Padang beach) in terms of its cleanliness (and the soft white sand). Liked the pool too! Even a computer and printer available at the hotel lobby for guests' use. Polite and attentive hotel staff.

The place to be.

This is so far the cheapest luxury hotel I found lined up along Jimbaran Bay (to think that this location is known for high-end hotels and resorts). The Balinese-inspired ambience makes you feel at home with the Balinese culture. Its beach front is not crowded at all and within walking distance to the seafood cafes offering sunset dinner. Overall, if you need a relaxed atmosphere and location in a truly Balinese environment, this is THE place to be!

Beautiful location, beachfront beauty

Beautiful resort in perfect position, right on the beach at Jimbaran Beach. Hotel was beautifully maintained and clean, the pool area was beautiful. The bonsai plants throughout the gardens were interesting and lovely to look at.
Breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was great. Mostly couples at this resort.

Lovely resort stay

My husband, 2 small children and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful with lots of lovely little details everywhere you looked. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but covered the basics and we always left satisfied. Wifi was a little slow. I'll definitely recommend to friends traveling to that area and would stay again myself if I was looking to stay in that area again.

The rooms are relatively basic and simple (although the hand-carved wood touches are beautiful), and the grounds are lovely. Direct access to a nice beach that wasn't overrun by tourists. Only 10-15 minutes to the airport. Lots of local restaurants and shops nearby on the main road.

Nice place but wanted to charge us $40 a night for a hide a bed. Hide a bed was a ratty, dirty mattress - riduculous

It's an old hotel in need of some maintenance. The exterior is nice though as is the location. The services are overpriced and likely to be expected. Lots of mosquitos, even in the rooms.
