We had a truly wonderful stay at Platinum Hotel Jimbaran Beach Bali and could not have chosen a better place to begin our Bali trip.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality set the tone for our entire holiday. We stayed in an ocean view room and were delighted with the beautiful outlook and comfortable, well-appointed space.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options each morning. The hotel restaurant staff were lovely and always welcoming.

The location in Jimbaran was perfect — calm, scenic, and ideal for easing into holiday mode. We appreciated how caring and attentive the hotel team were throughout our stay.

Helpful staff. As we had an early morning flight we did not get to enjoy the great breakfast spread the hotel offers. However, the hotel offers a togo breakfast which was greatly appreciated.

Overall a good transit hotel near the airport and Jimbaran beach.

Check in staff were courteous but housekeeping didn’t remove the rubbish placed outside the room only after the second call and many hours later. Location was great as it is facing the beach and a long stretch on restaurants. As it was monsoon, the beach was filthy with mountains of rubbish, make it very unpleasant. It has potential to be better to take the advantage of the location of the hotel.

The room itself was comfortable and well presented. However, the location is very misleading and not actually in the main Jimbaran area. There is nothing nearby apart from very poor-quality restaurants, and the surrounding vacant buildings attract dogs that bark throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.

While the staff were friendly, only a small number spoke English and staffing levels were limited. The air conditioning was ineffective in both the room and common areas, and despite having a control panel, the temperature could not be adjusted. The pool is also very shallow, at approximately one metre deep.

Additionally, there is an extra fee required when using Grab to enter the street where the hotel is located, which was not mentioned anywhere prior to arrival.

Nice hotel with spacious room overlooking busy street and the ocean on the background. One has to cross the busy street to get to beach, which unfortunately was very dirty and polluted, with lots of locals going about their daily activities. So we never felt like swimming in those waters. However what this hotel doesn't have in a form of a clean beach, it makes up by having beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant with life music and excellent, reasonably priced dinner buffet my husband and I enjoyed very much!

High quality hotel. Staff are excellent. Well trained. However, this hotel is NOT on the waterfront. You have to walk across the road to get to the beach. There is very little to do at Jimbaran. A long way from anything. We checked out 2 days early be cause of the location. The pools are only waist height.
You can’t just walk down the street for coffee or shopping. Need to get a taxi for anything.
One suggestion could be a daily shuttle into Kuta or Legian for shopping. Breakfast has a great selection , something for everyone. It would be nice to be seated for breakfast. We were left struggling to find a table.

Needs to live up to its 5 stars

Aesthetically, it looks good. Views of the ocean were lovely.

I paid for an expensive ocean front room and the toilet didn’t flush. Not ideal after travelling for hours. I wish I’d read the reviews properly as the toilet seems to be a regular problem for guests. Someone came to fix it but just told me to hold the button down, which I’d been doing. It would take 5+ times to flush a toilet, especially in a 5* hotel.

When I moved to a different room, it had a faint sewage smell. The air conditioning wasn’t working either, it was like a sauna.
The lights and sockets didn’t work in the bedroom, only the bathroom. I was only in the room for a short time because of a late check out but it’s still very basic to have lights working.

The in dining menu was disappointing, and limited. For a large hotel I would expect a much more extensive menu and more vegetarian options too. They had more drinks than food.

Lots of construction and outside noise which wasn’t pre-warned about.

There was a water leak in our room I told the cleaning person and nothing was done about it.

We had water on the bathroom floor the 3 days we where there.

When I checked out the lady at the counter said she was sorry but didn’t offer anything else.

The beach is nice with lounge chair.

We were quite disappointed since the hotel didn’t take any action regarding the room problem.

Overall okay, but would probably not go again.

Pros:
- Breakfast buffet has plenty of options
- Location is good for the beach and shopping
- Easy to call a GRAB
- Friendly staff
- Great shower pressure and hot water

Cons:
- Extremely SLOW service
- Restaurant also incredibly slow, wasn't even busy... maybe it's a cultural thing... but it shouldn't take an hour to get a cheeseburger and fries.
- Hallways are HOT af... Rooms have a stale air smell that wouldn't go away.

All is good about this hotel, including fantastic sunset view from the rooftop restaurant . The only negative is that other than seafood restaurants across the road, there’s no other goto place in the evenings by walk. Overall good and closer to the airport.

Service was amazing, staff are awesome. All of them. . Hotel very clean.
1 min walk to beach.
Only downside was the breakfast catered heavily for Asians, plenty of ric, fried rice, and other Asian food and not for Westerners. No bacon. No fried tomato. No real sausages only mini hotdog style.
So breakfast was a big disappointment. I will definitely review when booking in the future.

Staff team here are amazing, they all go that extra mile for you and have a smile. Very special mention for Angi every morning at breakfast she would check if any special requests required. Customer service is top notch, the reception area and the cleaners were superb. We ordered room service many time the bbq and breakfast just phenomenal.

We had a lovely welcome to the hotel. The room was gorgeous, clean. The view out the front was the ocean!! But when we opened the side curtain, we saw an area that might have been a dump… so we closed that curtain. Had buffet dinner at sunset on the rooftop deck that was perfect. Had free welcome drinks. The next morning we ate breakfast near the lobby. Both buffets had wonderful selections and the servers could not have been more polite. I would return to the Hotel Platinum again!

We went to this property for our last night so we could be close to the airport due to an early flight. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the beach.
The check in was smooth and staff was nice. We ate at the restaurant - the food was not great and probably the worse meal we had whilst in Bali. The hotel has 2 pools as well as an access to the beach. All the loungers were being used at both pools - there isn't many, approx 10 per pool. We then went to the beach were we found once again that no lounger were available - again probably only 10 loungers out on the beach. We were told by staff that they would get us some loungers, awaited 15mins but couldn't see anything being organised. We finally got 2 loungers. Throughout the afternoon, multiple group/families looked for loungers but none were available. There was was only one staff from the hotel on the beach that day and quite difficult to find at times. The room was nice and bed comfortable. There is not a lot of good restaurant around the hotel so you will have to get a grab to places. Considering the size of the hotel the facilities are just not up to speed. Overall we would not stay in this hotel again.

This was one of the best hotel stays I have experienced. From the minute we stepped in the door the service was exceptional. Every member of the team went out of their way to make our stay a great experience. The location is super, right on the beach. The food was great, especially the buffet breakfast. The room was amazing with a great view along the coast. Five stars all 'round.

If you look at the place as a lower grade 3 star, you will be satisfied.
The aircon failed in our room, which is totally understandable to me. Our chosen room had large corner windows facing the ocean. The only available room was an “upgrade” to a suite. The main room had a small window facing the ocean. However the bedroom was windowless and down right creepy. It was too late in the evening to bother arguing, so we accepted it. No refund or compensation was offered except, I kid you not, a piece of cake. I could only laugh but I would avoid the place in the future.
As throughout Bali, the staff was kind and tried hard but it would appear management was totally uninterested in helping.
This was my second trip to Jimbaran and I’m sad to say the beach is still strewn with garbage, plastic and worse from the sea.

The best hotel in Jimbaran

We are originally from Melbourne, Australia, and are currently enjoying a family holiday in Indonesia.

We had a wonderful stay at the Platinum Hotel. The room was nice, clean, and tidy, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast. All the roomboys, stood out with their exceptional kindness, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view, it was spectacular, Ocean View Premier Room.

The service was exceptional; all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The management team was also very approachable.

Every time I visit Bali, I will definitely stay here again. It was a five-star experience!

1st room was beside the outdoor showers and was mouldy, so we changed to another room, we were told it wa being refurbished next day said ok moved to 3rd room and air conditioning broke, just back luck, it happens, so 4th room was an executive suite. And wow. Wow wow. Amazing. Thank you. Jimbaran is more a short stay area but with our is visit we did know. Wou probably stay in an another area next time but a very good hotel with lovely people and a great view see photo

I'm happy I booked this hotel, it's one of the best hotels I've stayed at, at a very very very affordable price. It's a new hotel so the facilities are brand new. The ocean room view we had was super spacious, the king size bed was massive for 2, had a couch on the corner, and the bathroom/shower room was also huge, bathtub included and amenities great. Balcony view amazing, seafood restaurant just across with walkable beach, music, fireworks. Breakfast buffet has also been one of the best we've ever had, great selection of food and it was included in the room price, again very affordable. Boxed breakfast on the go also available. We used the spa services everynight we were there, massage service was beyond great, the jacuzzi, ice bath, steam room, and sauna are also in the spa area. Pool and gym are available too. The staff is great and friendly, speaks english well, and just overall so accomodating. If i ever go back to Bali, i will definitely book this place again.

Very noisy at night with dogs barking continuously and traffic from the street below if you are in an Ocean view room. No English breakfast tea bags in the room. We were told you had to pay extra for them. They only provided Jasmin teabags. Fantastic gym and Gustav was very helpful and friendly. Loved the Sunset bar up the top, fantastic views of the beach and sunset.Breakfast was very good lots of choices.

Fantastic 3 night couples stay.

Our stay at the Platinum Hotel at Jimbaran Bay was highly enjoyable. Staff from all areas were excellent and comfort and condition the same. The only negative we experienced was although they upgraded us to the much larger and beach view family room (room 801), it was directly under the rooftop night entertainment bar. Very noisy from mid afternoon till 11pm ish. Management was very apologetic. However avoid this room if you do not like the doof doof noise.
