Some of the utensils at the villa are not clean and working as expected. Example, water heater does not auto cutoff when it reaches boiling point. Also, the tub does not look much clean. The closet does not completely flush in single flush. Spa towels did not smell good and seemed like it is getting used beyond its life. All the staff were courteous and polite. Pool was good, but some of components like water taps, pipes etc need to be cleaned. Room was spacious and good.

The staff at Lumbini are all lovely, the Villas are very private, and the staff, whikst very attentive, respect the privacy. Room service was quick, the restaurant was also very good.. very nice play to stay.

What a fantastic stay! We were only there for 1 night but we will definitely be back. The staff were exceptional - so responsive and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom villa with a private (huge!) pool - the villa was outstanding. It was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Lumbini - was a perfect end to a fabulous trip in Bali.

Really bad experience and a good property

Very old property. Room disconnected. Bath and shower room was open. No place to keep shower gel, shampoo etc near the shower area. Toilet was very old, it was chipping out, not cleaned. The toilet flush water leaking and flushing very slow. Maintenance team was not understanding able to rectify the issues. Electrical power outlet is not universal and compatible with other country's power adapters. I had to borrow from them and they were asking to deposit 1000 IDR per electrical power convertor plug. Breakfast was really bad. Overall not a good experience.

The room was big enough with a living room and kitchen. The private pool was clean and water not too cold in the morning.

The location was good with groceries available within a 10-15min walk. There are only very few spa/massage shops around though. The spa in the villa is available, but price is more than 2 times what you get from a shop outside.

Service was good. Both the receptionists, the cleaners and the staff in the restaurants were friendly and helpful. I asked if I could order a lobster for a dinner and they obliged. The lady even came to my villa to inform me on the price. That was a good meal.

There are really quite a bit of mosquitoes in the kitchen, living area and the bathroom as these are open areas. I normally will lit the mosquito coils in the areas throughout the day. They do provide the mosquito coils and the electrical repellent(used in room).

I woud not recommend this propery to anyone. While the villas are well designed, maintainence is very poor. Lots of items not working in the villa - fridge not working, microwave broken, light bulbs fused and not replaced, items not cleaned. The restaurant has almost no vegetarian options and they are unable to even make simple dishes as vegetarian, minus the meat.

5 star villas with a 3 star reception/restaurant

The villas are amazing - tranquil, private and you feel very close to nature. The property is also beautiful. The restaurant is not particularly fantastic (given standards of food in Bali it could be better) and the reception doesn’t do the property justice. The lighting, ambience of the reception and restaurant don’t match the classiness of the property which is a shame.

Staffs are good. Transport facilities are good. But lots of mosquitoes inside room. Lizard sound inside room wakes you up sometime.

We had a great stay. They provided airport pick-up and drop-off free of charge. Villa was spacious and clean, had all amenities. Breakfast was good with local and western food, juices, tea, coffee etc. Restaurant food was really good. Spa was great too! Overall great place and safe for families.

The bathroom is open air so bugs can get into your private space.

There isn’t much to do immediately outside the resort on the street but if you walk a bit there are some good restaurants.

Big and quite but not very clean

The rooms were big with loads of space and nice private pool. The surrounding area was nice quite and peaceful and ideal for our honeymoon but the biggest disappointment was that the room was not clean. The floor was sticky and the bathroom was not very clean either with algae on the baths' showers and taps. On the positive side, the staff were very pleasant and supportive. Breakfast served was appreciative as well.

We stayed at the Lumbini for 6 days. The villa was amazing. Private pool with lounge bed. Outside dining area with sink, counter, and fridge. Access to the bathroom from pool or inside bedroom. Bedroom had king bed with living room. Computer and desk in room as well. Bathroom had a rainfall faucet, huge spa tub, double sinks. We enjoyed the total privacy! Resort staff was attentive and quick to respond to requests. Spa was also amazing. We cannot wait to return!

The resort rooms are large and spacious. Beds are large and comfortable. Bathrooms huge and luxurious. Cleaning in bathroom could be better mainly because open to leaves from trees and flowers coming through.
Service for food a bit slow but all staff friendly, pleasant and helpful.
Loved having own pool. Not suitable to families with children that can't swim.
Great for honeymooners.

A comfortable and cosy villa

Lumbini is a good villa located in Jimbaran, not noisy and crowded as Kuta but still convenient enough to get food. Also, 10 minutes to beach is another pro. The room is comfortable and cosy, You can stay in your own villa for relax all day. This is a good place I will recommend.

The villa is amazing! Spent the entire time sitting beside or in the pool. Short walk to the beach. Really close to Cuca, which I highly recommend for great tapas.The layout of the villa is perfect. My only concern was they do not wash the floors in the villa. There is a buildup of dust and spills around the furniture which you can clearly see when you are in the pool. Other than that, fabulous place. I would stay again! Highly recommended!

We came here for 4 days after travelling around Bali for 2 weeks.. The villa and private pool are amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We basically ate all meals in the resort, which were fine. We did not really leave the resort as we wanted to relax so do not know much about the area.

The villas at Lumbini are lovely, open air and spacious, the pool is glorious. The restaurant is adequate, and the service is great, all staff are always friendly and obliging. The local area is not that great, very dirty and noisy surrounds, it is close to Jimbaran beach and restaurants though.

Our one bedroom villa was modern, clean and more than comfortable. The pool was also very clean and private.

The staff were friendly and attentive but lived up to the promise of \"unobtrusive\". We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed well prepared and presented room service dinner most of these, plus a delicious breakfast each morning. The cook - when we stayed - was \"excellent\". Our \"extras bill\" on checkout was very reasonable.

My only hesitation is, that very little is walking distance. However Lumbini offer a \"free on demand shuttle\" to the beach. We used their scheduled free shuttle transport to the Kuta shopping centre, but did not mind the \"return journey\" at our own arrangement and expense. This allowed us flexible time and the return was not expensive.

Lumini Villas and Spa resort is well located in the Jimbaran Bay precinct - perfectly positioned to experience all that this area of bali has to offer including the famous over beach sunset which was spectacular!! The resort is clean and well maintained and has all of the facilities that one would expect. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect stay.

Our one bedroom villa was perfect, gorgeous design, great size pool and it felt very private. The only negatives if I am to be super critical is that the rooms appeared spotless but there were a few dirty bits and leftover garbage from previous guests but that was just in places I spotted which wouldn't be noticed without a full deep clean. Breakfast was average.

This was still one of the accomodation highlights of my trip. The main pool looked lovely but we loved the privacy of our own pool so just relaxed there! Definitely would recommend.

Well maintained, friendly and relaxing

I decided to split my 10 day holiday in Bali between 5 days in Seminyak and 5 days in Jimbaran. Lumbini Villas is a great choice if you're after somewhere modern, clean and away from the centre of it all, but close enough to walk to local restaurants and to use the beaches in the local resorts (e.g Intercontinental hotel just 500m away). If you want to be in the middle of tourist town, then stay in Seminyak, whereas the villa is located amongst local shops and stores. The room service menu is well priced and a reasonable selection, but I decided to eat out a few nights at the local seafood restaurants on the beachfront (about 20 min walk) as well as at Balique (about 300m south down the road). The rooms are exactly as the photos on the website and the mosquito netted bed along with electric mosquito repellent and closed bedrooms were great, no problems at all with mosquitoes. That said, you;ll need repellant and coils for the outdoor living area, but the villa provides that and its par for the course in Bali. TV and DVD were great. Kitchen has the minimum utensils - good for room service or home delivery but not if you want to cook for yourself.

We stayed at Lumbini villas for 2 nights. Our one bedroom villa was gorgeous! We totally enjoyed our private pool and loved all the space we had throughout the villa. We had an outdoor shower, which was cool. Beware of lizards (expected in a tropical area) and spiderwebs though. They really need to clean/vacuum the cealings and behind the tables to clean out the spiderwebs (this was the only part that grosses me out). But overall, the villa was clean and well maintained otherwise.

Surrounding area is nothing special. Most restaurants and shopping areas are not walking distance but they do have a shuttle.

Loved our stay here. Very private. YOu have your own pool villa to retreat to. Open air lounge, dining with kitchenette. Includes good size fridge, microwave and a burner top. Good Tv and plenty of channels to choose from. Great free WIFI. Air-conditioned bedroom. Large and very comfy bed! Equally large bathroom, big shower and large bath. Staff were great, even if sometimes forgot to replace towels. BUt one short phone call and they fixed it all up. No problems. breakfast is good, either in your room or at the restaurant. Some variety would be good though. Would come back anytime!!!

A relaxing sanctuary

A quiet sanctuary in the hustle-bustle of Bali. A lot of thought went into designing and decorating the villas - each detail is unique and modern while still charmingly Balinese. Our villa (Upekkha) was really spacious, well-appointed, and comes complete with wonderful touches - outdoor bathroom area, rain shower, marble tiles, kitchen, private pool. Plus it's all new (great for germaphobes)!

Love the staff too - so welcoming and very efficient. In particular Pak Wayan, who picked us up from the airport, was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

We opt to get breakfast delivered to the villa every morning - it's a true vacation to luxuriate on lazy mornings in the beautiful dining/living area over a generous and delicious spread. Each time, breakfast was delivered at our precise requested time and the quantity and presentation were great.

The only thing missing was a view - but the villas apparently have a beach club which we didn't get to use. Jimbaran also doesn't have a lot of shopping, but the complimentary shuttle is great. Plus do you really want to be in Kuta or Seminyak having to fight your way through all the tourists?

All in all, loved it, Lumbini ticks all our must-haves for a relaxing vacation.

If you want privacy and great service this is the place. It's only real letdown is that the offerings from the restaurant aren't really up to the rest of the experience. In fact we'd recommend going with the Asian options for breakfast.

Wir waren das 2. Mal hier.
Am besten gefällt uns der private Pool. Absulut Spitze.
Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und ruhig und wird gepflegt. Ist aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Zum Frühstück würde man sich wünschen das es etwas internationaler wird, denn es ist recht Asien lastig.

Die Zeit bei Lumbini war wirklich hervorragend. Wir sind zu dritt mit meiner Frau und unserer kleinen Tochter für 5 Nächte hier gewesen und haben alle Wünsche erfüllt bekommen. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker und man hatte auch beim Frühstück ausreichend Auswahl. Insbesondere an Iluh müssen wir einen dank aussprechen, die sogar unser Kind in die Arme genommen hat damit wir unser Frühstück genießen konnten.
Das Spa haben wir zweimal während unserer Zeit genutzt und sind sowohl mit der Balinesischen Massage, als auch mit Maniküre und Pediküre zufrieden gewesen. Beim nächsten Mal in Bali definitiv zu Lumbini.

空港から近く、夜の到着でしたがすぐホテルに行くことができてよかったです。
海沿いではありませんが、徒歩10分程度でビーチにいくことができます。
スタッフもフレンドリーで大変満足できました。
どうしても気になったのはシャワーの水圧がとても弱いことです。
レインシャワーの方はせいぜい花に水をやる程度か、バスタブの方はほぼ出ません。ドリップコーヒーのレベルです。
他はとてもよかった分水回りが非常に残念です。

Enormt dejligt sted med egen private pool (ekskl. Hotellets 2 fælles pools), Store og rummelige værelser/rækkehuse med regnvansbruser for åben himmel, smagsfuld indretning, samt at stedet havde en virkelig hyggelig og afslappet atmosfære..
Obs angivelserne af værelsesstørrelse er misvisende.. Vores værelse var anført som 196 m2, hvilket nærmere var 100-150 m2 (inkl. Have).. Jeg beklager at Intervallet er bredt, men det afspejler i høj grad, at det ikke havde tilstrækkelig betydning til at jeg købte mig en målestok, og tegnede det mere præcist op.

この宿泊料でプライベートプール付きヴィラは最高。しかもキッチンとダイニングテーブルもあったので、近くの屋台やお店で買い込んだ物で、夕食を格安に済ますこともできます。
また、深夜の到着だったので、迎えの車が来ているか不安でしたが、こころよく出迎えていただけました。
