My room 211 had an on and off sewage smell my whole stay. We also saw a roach during our second night. I tried to switch rooms but the front wasn’t super accommodating at first. They first said it’s too late in the night to switch and to try the next day, then they said it’s fine and showed me another room. By then we were already tired and just dealt with it the rest of the stay but we couldn’t wait to check out.

Rooms are outdated and location isn’t near any sites. Stay near Ubud or Canggu to save you an hour commute to your activities. Staff overall was friendly and we did enjoy the restaurant hence 2 stars vs 1.

This hotel is nothing like the photos online. The rooms are very old, full of wear and tear, and clearly need a full renovation. The walls have water damage, bubbling paint, and cracks everywhere.

The whole place feels neglected and poorly maintained. Even though the buffet has a big variety, the food is not tasty at all — just quantity without quality.

For the price, it’s really not worth it. The photos are misleading, and the hotel no longer looks fresh or modern like advertised. Definitely not a place I would recommend or stay in again.

We enjoyed our time at the jimbaran bay beach resort and spa. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The location is great for dining options across the road on the beach.
The rooms are nice, and the rooftop bar is anazing!
If you get the chance, include your breakfast as it is a wide spread of different foods.

Really good experience at jimbaran bay beach ..peole who work there was the most amazing and everyone just so helpful and friendly.. location was good breakfast was wonderful and ala carte menu all food was great. Nice atmosphere. We loved everything. Except bed.. king size bed its 2 full size beds moved together..while sleeping we felt the gap and that was uncomfortable.. besides that everything was perfect!

Jimbaran Bay is famous for its seafood and sunsets. These were both fantastic, but the Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort and Spa was not so wonderful. The photos in the advertising must have been taken when the property was first built, as the rooms are quite worn, very grubby and the furnishing are coming apart. On my first night, I barely got any sleep because of the noise. It sounded like someone was dragging furniture in the room above me and next to me, literally all night - it was still going on at 3am. The rats or other critters scurrying in the ceiling was also very off putting. The restaurant is very expensive. I would not stay at this property again.

The Bintang prices by the pool similar to Finn’s beach club Cangu but atmosphere worlds apart. We asked for a coffee at 8.00 but told we couldn’t have one until 10.30. The rooftop had an amazing view but no protection from the sun. We asked for an umbrella which we could see them but told no as they were. Reserved. We were the only people on the rooftop.

Very lovely stay. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. However the coffee machines were unreliable - sometimes worked sometimes didn’t. Room wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. Had a sticky floor when we arrived and the air conditioner unit was not working at full capacity (it had to be serviced). The shower was dirty. These weren’t a big deal as we still enjoyed our stay

Many seafood restaurants are along.
You can buy the seafood at the fish market at very reasonable price, bring it to the restaurant and they cook for you.
Breakfast buffet in the hotel is excellent.

The feature photo is misleading, if you think there is a rooftop pool overlooking the bay. Rooftop is nice for an evening sunset drink otherwise too hot and not enough shade. Food was bland, the cafe right next door was nicer. The rooms let in too much noise and the decor is very dated. Overall much tireder than the pix indicate. Pool deck is crowded. Overall ok for airport proximity and Jimbaran seafood beach sunset meals

This property is looking very tired, 24 sunbeds 116 guest rooms, constant fight for sunbeds.
The room certainly needs a makeover, we were at the back of the hotel, overlooking a brick wall and dirty alleyway, which was used through the night and the last night some idiot was setting off fireworks l.
Bed in the room was VERY firm and the pillow was hard and lumpy, I’m going home with a bad back

We stayed for 2 nights as my sons graduation was being held here. Our room was excellent and very quite considering we were above and opposite the swim up bar and pool area. The outside bath was awesome. The room was nice and big shower had great pressure and the bed was really comfortable. So many young staff here who were incredible they really looked after you and helped at every occassion. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and a good selection. The hotel is also really close to the airport and great views from the lounge on the roof.

The hotel room did not look like the pictures at all. It was much smaller, dirty, smelled, and had a horrible view of the back of a small, unkept temple.

I tried asking for an upgrade, knowing I’d have to pay for the different in room price, and the front desk only offered the most expensive family suite which was 5x the cost of the room I booked. I ended up just staying for one night and then booking a different hotel for the rest of my stay, knowing I wouldn’t get a refund. When I went to checkout early, the front desk said I won’t be getting a refund since I stayed for one night already, but could’ve if I never stayed that one night…. Very dishonest of her to not have mentioned that when I initially reached out about how dissatisfied I was. I had even mentioned I’d be looking for a different hotel room. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The hotel is nice. The reception staff is very nice and kind. However, the food service (not the food itself) could be improved. We've ordered once a smoothie bowl and took 30min. We also had a dinner and oredered a starter and 2 mains with 2 juices. It took around 45 min and the starter came all together with the mains. We asked twice about our juices and had our dinner with no drinks (They gave us a glass of water after 50min). After almost 1hour they brought the juices (Fiod was already finished). They did not even offer any discount (Which is usually considered for customer service) until I asked for that and was denied (they told me to have a juice for free the day after, but I told them I was checking out) and they didnt offer anything else. That should be looked into, as 1hs for a fresh juice is too long..

Avery nice hotel set accosts the road from Jim Aran beach and it’s beach side cafes and restaurants
Location was excellent but unfortunately the beach is unusable due to the rubbish
If you head to the other side of the island towards nusa dua beaches are much cleaner
Pool at the hotel was great
Staff great although a little more training would be good as we attended the Friday bbq we order our food and we’re brought the bill before we had eaten or had a drink - something for the hotel to work on

We had a breakfast option which was ok fruit and eggs everyday with a variety of local dishes

We were advised before booking and before che king in that there were works at the roof top bar this would be from 9-5 pm
This often went on until 8 or 9 but did not impact is too much
The works it stated are due to finish mid March but I would expect end of April is more realistic
Overall a good hotel fir the money and a pleasant stay

This property has beautiful views of sunset from rooftop bar. There are very nice seafood BBQ restaurants just across the road.
When I asked the staff to recommend a nice seafood bbq place, they recommended hotel owner’s cafe. This was just average. There are better ones just across the road. The property is away from central Bali and other happening area.

Unfortunately, my stay at this property was abysmal. Let's start with the first room they tried to put us it. It was connected to another room and we could clearly hear the person scrolling through TikTok in the room that was connected. There was no chance of anyone feeling okay sleeping in a room like this. Especially when they are branding it as a \"luxury experience\" for the same price during this trip we have been able to book Villa style rooms disconnected from anyone. Also, this room had a horrible stench in it like it was a smoking room at one point that someone sprayed air freshener in 10 minutes before we walked in. Luckily they were able to put us in another room that was not connected to another room. We decided to just bite the bullet and go get one of the complimentary free drinks on the roof balcony that we were offered. This is where we learned the free drinks are actually for juices like apple juice, not a cocktail. it would have felt better if they just didn't offer any \"free drinks\" at all. Oh well, let's at least look at the awesome view on the roof and relax for a moment. NOPE. Someone had reserved the whole area with the view on the roof. that night we learned that it is actually the walls that are incredibly thin. We could hear people all the way down the hall and would wake up every morning clearly hearing any activity in the hall or the room next to us.
We decide to stay somewhere else the entire time even though we cant get a refund. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

There are Balinese paintings, but no Balinese connection with the unique Balinese culture .
The balinese people are gentle ,very polite and very giving.
Coming to Bali is a privilege. You can learn just a few greetings in Balinese and you will be given every help with a beautiful smile and you will belong. This Hotel does nothing to promote or give back to Balinese culture.

I was very disappointed. The property needs some work, which I was expecting, but not to this extent. The room was also not clean, and you can hear people next door as well as outside in the temple. The window blinds didn’t close all the way. There was hair all over the bathroom when I came in. Towels are very very old and they don’t even provide a hand towel. I would say this is a 2 star at best now. I’m sure it was much better before but it needed a renovation 10 years ago.

The Hotel was ok. We ware at the beach the first day and the wave broke my shoulder.
The sea was not stormy and it was ok when we were ind but the time we were on the way out a big strong wave hit us.
My shoulder broke and we had both difficult to come out.
The strong water would take us both with on the way back to the sea.
We didn’t know anything about what strong the water is.
I missed some information about the sea. Both at the hotel and on the beach.

Hotel was not busy, so no real excuses for room not being ready.

Great hotel but dealing with Expedia on my entire trip trying to get refunds for other hotels filthyness was absolutely stressful and I’d recommend the hotel but definately don’t recommend booking through Expedia as their customer service is disgusting! Book this hotel for sure but I would advise against booking through Expedia as they turn a blind eye to any problems you have whilst away, they’re happy to ruin your trip
