Staff is so kind, especially resort manager, front office, engineer team, F&B and housekeeping. Nice service and very nice pool and scenery.
Just small thing, that is hotel is not good to small kids because kids room don’t have any thing to kids fix. Kids books or toys.
Room cleaning have every day but toilet doesn’t clean all our period until it’s was yellow in the toilet.
Deluxe sea view have very beautiful view but the room is not special decorated.
Breakfast has generally and Thai dessert and Thai food. Location is convenient and close to the beach and 7-11.

We stayed in the ABSC building and it was a great experience. The hotel was clean and amenities were great. It was also close enough to the action in Patong but quiet because it was on the edge. 5-10 min walk to the beach. Staff were great as well. Highly recommend.

Couples vacation.

Our stay was awesome , starting with the friendly staff at the entrance , the reception staff , restaurant staff and the house cleaning staff . Everyone is always pleasant and willing to help with questions , advice or directions. The hotel is centrally located in Patong , but a little off the main road , which makes it very tranquil on the inside . The breakfast has quite a variety and the pools and other amenities are great. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was spotless, and I appreciated its proximity to numerous shops within walking distance. I could easily stroll to the beach, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Although, I stayed at the city view, however, I enjoyed spending more time at the beach view for breakfast, dinner and hanging by the pool. There were instances of noise disturbance at night on one or two occasions...not loud but enough for it to awaken me.

I really like this place. The views are great, it's an enexpectedly good location. nice and quiet. The rooms are inconsistent as they appear to be owner/condo/rentals. So the quality of the rooms vary. The views are spectacular. It's a little bit older, but there are several pools and the overall vibe is really nice.

Great location. However when checking in, the room wasn't ready until 1:30 hr after official check in time and we had to wait in the lobby. Breakfast included was great in terms of variety and quality of food. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good and comparative in price outside.

We have been to the Andaman Beach Suites Hotel for 6 years, that says all. It is the best hotel in Panton Beach. It is located in a quiet close road and near to all the amenities. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. It has all the facilities you need while on holiday. We love to stay there for much longer. Excellent place to stay on our holiday.

The only criticism I have is the condition of the balcony, which could have been cleaned and maintained a bit better. The food was also a bit better 5 years ago. Our family suite was spacious with a balcony and view of the ocean. The property has beach access to Patong Beach about a 7 minute walk. Walking distance to Bangla Road which feels like another world full of bars and night market which offered so much amazing seafood and food. It is also close to pharmacies, many massage places, shops and transportation. It is close to where the action is but very quiet. Our family recommends this property

Great location and views from the room. Some staff were friendly while others not so much, including front desk staff. Hotel rooms are in serious need of updates.

First room we had, the a/c unit was very loud (sounded like a jet engine) so we called to complain and to their credit they sent a technician right away to come fix it. He did his best but it only resulted in a minor improvement. We asked to be moved to another room, which they did. Our fridge stopped working the next morning (which they fixed promptly), both our shower and sink did not drain properly, there were cracks in the tiles and the dents in the floor, there was very ugly caulking around the tiles in the bathroom, the pillows were almost paper thin, rhe bathroom looked dirty (streak marks on the counters and mirror) and the list goes on. I feel like some of the staff is trying their best to make it work, but managment needs to invest some funds into refreshing the rooms. Also there could be better customer service from some front desk staff. One evening I called down to request toilet paper and after waiting over 20 min, i went down to the front desk to ask if i could get a roll and she rudely told me to go back to my room and wait....even though there were 3 staff just standing around chatting. While i was waiting for the elevator, one of the staff came and gave me a roll. With such a great location, it could be a great hotel....but for now i would recommend spending a bit more and staying somewhere else.

My stay was amazing. The facilities are superb. My room got upgraded to a pool deluxe room with balcony. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The gym was massive and had great equipment. The three pools was immaculate. The buffet breakfast comes free with the room which is great. Short walk to Bangla strip. Laundry facilities for 1kg is 100bht which is cheap and also close to restaurants and quiet bars.

The hotel was quiet. I recommend this hotel for families and couples. If you are a single person this wouldn’t be ideal as can be very quiet and uneventful.

The location of the property is excellent. It is very near to the Bangla Road (most happening place), yet on a quite street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our flight was late in the afternoon and we had to leave the room by midday, as they were full. However, they provided us with a room later in the afternoon (after we came back from shopping etc.) where we could shower and change before leaving for the airport. Thanks

Nice quiet spot smack in the middle of bustling Patong beach. Short walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. Fantastic breakfast! We stayed for 5-6 days and really enjoyed our time. The rooftop bar pours very weak drinks, I observed them fill up a graduated shot glass half way twice which does not equal a typical 1.5 oz portion of liquor. And is probably more like .75 oz. I find this to be the equivalent of stealing from the customer even if they just don’t realize. The live entertainment on the rooftop was unbearable, an older gentleman playing an electric piano and a lady singing and dancing, together they played terrible covers of old abba songs and butchered Céline Dion songs. We laughed it off until they returned for New Year’s Eve and caused us to flee the hotel to maintain sanity. Overall great experience but they would be wise to update the decor of the rooftop, hire a kid with a laptop to DJ current music and have someone teach the staff how to make a proper drink.

We booked twin bed room and specially remind in the remark but still got a double bed room when we arrived at mid night. We were very disappointed & be careful that city view rooms are in another building not same but we were tired just wana sleep immediately so we paid extra to upgraded to seaview room. The seaview room is spacious with nice view but the toilet seat is smaller than the toilet n look in yellow... the house keeper did not clean the hairs in bathroom, did not refill shower gel/shampoo/toilet paper & we need to requested.

The staff here are very nice, some dishes of breakfast changed everyday, around 15 mins walk to Patong Beach Night Walking Street, hv nice restaurants around n 7 11/ family mart.

The location of this property is great. The staff is friendly but don’t really understand English.

They only give you one key card and that key card must be in the room for the lights and AC to function. So if you decided to leave a camera or phone charging you could only do that if the key was inserted in the room. Meaning you have to be in the room.

They gave us a “3day” Wifi Pass even though we were staying for 6 days. After the 3rd day we had to call them and get a new password and then the connection was continuously dropping.

The breakfast was just mehh. Very basic

Deceptive Advertising

The trip started with deceptive advertising. I booked on hotels.com and the building that is advertised is not the building they put us in. We were put in an annex above a massage parlor next to the main hotel and where mold was visible on the curtains. The annex had a tiny pool on the rooftop compared to the huge lap pool, kids pool, and infinty pool at the main hotel. We had to pay an extra 600Bhat per night to stay in the main hotel. The front desk personnel were less than friendly and seemed to be bothered when stopped by to ask questions while they just stood around chatting amongst themselves. The room in the main building was okay except for the glass enclosed bathroom that didn't allow for privacy. The entire bathroom was enclosed in shower glass material. I don't know who thought that was a good idea. The fitness room had a very inappropriate photo of scantily clad women on the wall and the equipment was poorly maintained. The area around the hotel was rife with people constantly trying to get you to buy something. It was quite disappointing overall.

Great facade, our 1st room awesome view but constant jackhammering was intolerable so sfter some debate staff offered us upgrade to ‘deluxe suite’ - room is large, huge bed hard as a rock! Nice view but room is badly maintained - I will attach photos. Rain entered our room even though sliding door was closed/locked. Side sliding door has been (badly) sealed with duct tape so the door rattled all night during high winds. No drain in bathroom floor so ended up using all our towels to mop up overflow from the bath. Crockery/glassware missing from cupboards. Seriously not 4* accommodation. Breakfast was ok, good variety of hot and cold. Staff well presented and helpful. Hotel close to beach, markets, pubs, Bangla Road and other attractions. All up though we are just a little disappointed in our stay. screen and bathroom door filthy, built up dirt in sliding door tracks, I could go on. I’ve read through other reviews and find myself doubting their authenticity. If considering a stay ask to inspect a room first.

We stayed 4 night here . Room is pretty big with a huge balcony . We lived in a third floor with sea view but couldn’t rely see the view very clearly . Staffs there are nice . Especially a staff who run in swimming pool bar called boii . Breakfast is ok very simple not many choice but taste good tho . Walk only less then 5 mins to go to beach . To Bangla street gotta spend 15- 20 mins walk . 5 mins walk to family mart n 7-11 very convenient. Overall everything is awesome .

My room suppose to have bath tub according to booking but there is no bath tub...

Overall it was excellent.. Clean room, sea view is amazing when you are at high floor.. Super deluxe room is really big.. Bed was comfortable.. The only negative points is they charge 1000 baht for guests if that matters to you and you have to walk around 15 mins to bangla road. However its very close to beach.. 5 mins walk.
Pools are amazing and breakfast is very good.

1) I was staying on the 16-floor and surprise to see all the air con condensers were installed along the corridor. Not only that they are unsightly but also uncomfortable due to the emission of heat and dangerous as one could easily knock into them if they are not attentive when walking along the corridor.

2) The location was very convenient to eateries, shops and beach.

3) The manager Bird was very friendly and helpful.

4) Since all suites are of the same floor area, it would be better if the luxury suite which is more expensive than other regular suites is to be better designed and furnished and given additional perks.

5) Overall, it is a good hotel for big families to stay. By the way, our family was 18 persons. it was overall a good stay.

The location is good and convinent, but the service so so only..there is only 2 lift and only 1 lift is working, its takes a long time to check out as have to wait for the lift, and everyone is checking out the same time, for the whole 5 days, only 1 lift is working, lucky wasnt staying at high floor if not i will spend alot of time waiting for lift, WIFI was also bad, wasnt able to connect to the wifi, and after technician came, it worked a while, but later, not whole bldg wifi was not working. but the suite i stayed in was big, if want a convinent and big room, its can meet these requirement

Location in the midst of the activity

The hotel was in a great location in Patong beach, right in the midst of all the activity if that's what you want. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, Thai massage parlors and the beach. I'm used to hotels that look like they're on the beach to at least have easy beach access from the back of the hotel but this required going out the front door and around the block but still it was less than a 10 minute walk.
The staff was always extremely helpful and prompt when I needed assistance or had a problem. (I blew a fuse in the room at 11pm by plugging my toothbrush directly into the outlet without a converter.)
The room had a beautiful view of the bay. The hotel is located in the very center so sunset is beautiful to watch from the room. Unfortunately, the pool deck area is too low and the trees too high on the other side to be able to see sunset from there.
Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food.
If we stay in the Patong beach area of Phuket again, we'll definitely stay here.

“The BEST place to stay in Patong Beach!”

Stunning rooms and location. We have been here twice in 18 months and both times stayed in the Super deluxe sea view room...45sqm of clean luxury (bed is 2 king singles joined, you could get lost its that big!) and rooms are cleaned with complimentary bottled water daily. 22 floors which is much more than most hotels, the views are stunning.
Reception is 24/7, Staff are very friendly and will assist with anything.
Pool area is sunny and open, lots of lounges (sun and shade), grounds are spotless, great for couples and families.
Get the complimentary breakfasts...soooo much food, all different kinds served from 6.30 to 10.30am...will last you way past lunch. Room service is quick and yummy.
Beach is under 5 mins and there are great shopping markets for tshirts, questionable dvds for $2 Australian (don't ask me how I know that), food, heaps of souvenirs and supermarkets within 15-20mins. Looking for amazing local art to purchase straight from the artist...just 5min walk too.
Central spot for all tours to be collected or dropped off.
Major nightlife is 15 min walk or 300 baht for a 5 min tuk tuk ride - Bangla Road is closed off at night to allow for the crowds.
Looking for a little more traditional than trendy hotel?...you cannot do better than the Andaman Beach Suites!

The important features hidden from the street

The entry is a bit ordinary ,but the view from our room on 14 floor was stunning at $145 AU full no view of the bay and beaches.
The pool area was amazing with similar view all ver nice and new ,great dinning room with the pool view then the beach view from the pool
Clean and nice staff

dun come n suffer.

booked a city view double room with remark higher floor non smoking, they gv me a ground floor room, same level with receptionist, n it's a carpark view, you just walk 1 step out to balcony then it's carpark!
request to change room and they ask for a fee more than the payment i made. only after showing my bad mood, then they reluctantly to find they manager to change a room with upgrade fee, yet they give me a room with 2-single-bed merged \"double\" bed, and there is so many socket in the room while only 1 is working....
calling receptionist for adapter, send a wrong one, call again for change n said \"another customer is requesting, we can't send to you now, please go 7-11 to buy one\".... then i simply find housekeeping n they are able to provide one!
so basically i was paying money so that i can get a free bad mood holiday with my pregnant wife, don't come here as their staff seriously needs to retrain or go back to kindergarden to learn again!

Middle of the road at best.

I had problems right away, got there at 12:30, front desk said room was not ready, didn't get a room until 2:15. I was informed that since I was a solo, if I had a guest in my room it would be an extra 1000 baht, and I would have to get the ok from the front desk first. Not The room wasn't in the hotel tower, but was in the front with no view, and about 4 floors high. Go to the room and the big bed was two small beds pushed together. Bed(beds) where very uncomfortable. Rooms were on the smaller size. On the up side they gave you a couple of pastries each day, that were left in the room.

Too expensive for what we got.

Booked a room with balcony, did not get a balcony. Room was more like a motel room you just use for sleeping. Friends who stayed at the same time paid a lot less per night and got a nicer room with balcony.
Pool and pool area are nice but found the restaurant a bit expensive to eat

Good location, Great views, Excellent staff!

On our last night in Patong we decided to stay at Andaman BS because of a recommendation from a friend who stays there regularly. The staff were all very friendly with big smiles. We had booked a super delux seaview room, so I asked if we could be as high as possible and they were happy to move us up several floors for a better view. Spacious renovated room, with great view over patong and the beach. Will stay there next time for sure.
