Great property for the price. A clean basic room and great staff. The restaurant was horrible, very expensive, very limited menu ( vegan and gluten free) I couldn’t find anything for dinner . Portions were very small for the price, a dingle glass of wine was $16 USD, then they add a10% service fee and 12.5% tax and state it does not go to the employee serving you 😳 $50 USD ONE WINE AND ONE SMALL ENTREE!! Ruined the experience for me . This was in an area that isnt safe yo walk at night, so you are held hostage

Our biggest issue was that there is a small secured parking area and we used it, but upon trying to leave early in the morning to catch our flight, someone allowed vehicles to be double parked, and we could not leave. Security said that there should not have been double parking and blocking us and 3 other vehicles in was not good. That does little to help solve the matter. Eventually after about 30 mins the double parker was found and we were able to leave. Thus unneeded stress and anxiety was truly unnecessary. Unfortunately, because of this issue we will no longer stay there. It is not worth the potential added stress and anxiety.

Happy with my stay. The front desk and security staff were just about as friendly as I’ve ever experienced. Room was comfortable, and the grounds were very clean and secure. We were just stopping over for a night so didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities unfortunately.

Our 12 year old son loved the pool as we watched parakeets and grackles from the deck chairs, and Martha’s restaurant across the street has fantastic food with a deck looking out over the river/ocean and diving pelicans. Many more eating places and the Belize Museum are a short walk, a few minutes and safe in evening. Facilities are clean and quiet

A secret garden oasis in the city! I could have spent a week here birding and enjoying the gorgeous grounds and flowers. The cottages are charming and our room was clean and comfortable. The hot water takes a while to heat up, but that was a small price to pay for the pleasure of staying here. They even booked a taxi for our early morning airport run and sent someone to knock on our door as a (requested) wake up call.

But you wouldn’t know that once you went in the gated area. The pool was so inviting and relaxing. Had a massage and body scrub when I arrived. The most amazing experience. The seaweed scrub was devine. The massage…the best I’ve had in a very long time. Do book this place and walk the waterfront if you have the time. Highly recommend.

The cottages; I stayed in the Toucan are beautiful well equiped and so comfortable. The gardens are spectacular with so many neat little trails, sitting spots and a labyrinth, two fresh water pools. The staff are very welcoming a big shout out to Marco who took the time to chat every time I passed. You must try the food at Marthas Cafe freshly prepared and so delicious and overlooking the harbour. Close to town just a short 5 min walk to the water taxi terminal. Take a trip out to Caye Caulker and visit Lamanai Mayan ruins. I'd definitely come back to Harbour View and would recommend

This is a nice, quiet property with HUGE rooms. There is a quirky garden area with whimsical signs. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful. The best part is it is close to multiple restaurants and the docks. You can even easily walk to the Belize Museum.

Although when I booked my space, I thought I would be in an individual cottage. We were not the door on our room, which led directly to the outside, was not able to lock properly.

I really loved my stay at the Harvourview. Staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, and it was mostly really peaceful and quiet (you're right alongside the road so do expect a little bit of traffic noise, not terrible though).

The only thing missing was the restaurant was closed down until November ! I was not notified that the restaurant would be closed as I was relying on it for our meals during our stay . We had to to to the Fort George Hotel next door where the meals are insanely over priced for what you get ! We were not interested in roaming Belize City after dark as is can be very dangerous for tourists .
