Tuve una experiencia desagradable, desde la recepción pésimo servicio al cliente. El mal olor y las Cucarachas en la habitación era tal que no logré dormir en toda la noche, el aire acondicionado no funcionó. al parecer me dieron la peor de las habitaciones así que decidí hacer un video y fotos para evitar que futuros viajeros pasen por lo mismo. Espero que Expedia saque este hotel que no tiene nada bueno que ofrecer.

I stayed here a couple of years ago and the place was really nice now its starting to become a run down building and the maintenance is lacking. The handle cover was missing, no mirror on the door and a bunch of little things. The overall building was subpar. I wont be coming back here anytime soon.

THEY CHARGE SOME RANDOM FEE CALL INSURANCE WHEN YOU GET TO THE FACILITY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Probably I wasn't in my best day of luck, but let me share an advise. If you ever get to a place to find a toilet plunger next to the toilet, air condition faulty, light in the bathroom RM304 drops when the room door is closed; don't think mayhen is coming, you're already there. At first glance the facilty looks really nice, but when you get the feeling of the stay on few details maintenance staff obviously overlooks, the feeling isn't the best. And then, the staff specially the restaurant staff has a first place in disregard for customer service, or perhaps was just personal.

Overall it was ok
Hotel has good and pretty new infrastructure, but it is far away from the Historic Centre, in the Industrial Zone. We were advised by the hotel staff not to walk around the area. You need to move in taxi cabs or Uber because buses are not recommended. You may consider renting a car and try to move by yourself, being careful with bikes, motorcycles and bus drivers.
Breakfast was not good enough and portions were small.
The lady receptionist (sorry, I don't remember her name) and the boy in charge of carrying the luggage and opening the gate at night were the kindest! Good job from them!

Good hotel to stay at if you have business in the port area. Facilities are limited but the staff are very good and the place is clean. Very competitively priced.

The hotel does not have hot water. So you're going to take cold showers. Also breakfast was supposed to be included, however whenever I went down to the restaurant there was no one there to serve any breakfast. Also the location is awful, it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to the beach and there are no restaurants close to the hotel. I was supposed to have a suite but I have no idea why they call it a suite. There was nothing special about the room. I booked and paid for 4 days but I left after two nights.

I went to Colombia last week and visited four different cities, in which every hotel was better than the other one, until I arrived to my final destination Cartagena and stayed in Hotel Altamar, then my nightmare began. First, I arrived at night, so tired after a long trip and the front desk guy did not found my reservation. I had to leave my baggage at the lobby and go to eat something while He look for my reservation. An hour after, He still not find it, then He has to do a manual transaction and told me to give me the details the day after in the morning. We went to the room and everything seemed ok! Next morning, I was so excited to get my complimentary breakfast, believe me, you better go to a a cafeteria, the worse breakfast I had ever have in a hotel. We left the hotel to take a tour and put the \"Do not disturb in the door.\" When I got back, all my things were moved and they did enter in the bedroom even thought I asked to not. Then I went to take a shower and they did not leave any towel in the bedroom at all and did not refill or replace the shampoo or conditioner o soup. Now, the beds are ok but you will have a backache after two days. The last and worst is that THEY CHARGE YOU IVA (TAXES) which is illegal for tourist to be charge taxes in Colombia. Yes, you do have the option to request the devolution of these taxes at the airport, but YOU CAN'T BE OBLIGATED TO PAY IVA IF YOU DON'T RESIDE IN COLOMBIA OR HAVE OTHER CITIZENSHIP. Please save yourself having a bad time

Siempre limpia cada parte del hotel, banos, gymnasio, testaurante y piscina y el servicio fue excelente, los trabajadores nos ayudaron con todo y dieron consejos buenos sobre cosas turísticas. Aunque es muy lejos del centro histórico un taxi solo cuesta 12000 pesos.
