the hotel is in a good central location to explore George Town.

it was strange at check-in to be ased for RM100 in cash.. which we didn't have.

The staff also charged us for the taxes that we'd already paid (but did eventually refund this).

Rooms are very basic. Fine for a night but I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.

Room, bed & pillows were comfortable. I liked having the safe and the mini refrigerator. Also liked having the kettle, tea and coffee. Housekeeping is excellent. Bathroom comes with travel toothbrushes and toothpaste, razor and shaving cream, shower cap, shampoo and body wash.

Best thing about the hotel is the location. Steps away from restaurants! It’s a food paradise. Also lots of pharmacies nearby.

My room was on the second floor and it did not have a good view. My sisters were on the 6th floor and they had a great view. So if you want a room with a better view, ask for a room on a higher floor.

There is no laundry service available at the hotel.

They provide a reverse osmosis drinking water dispenser at the lobby, which is very appreciated.

Front desk is helpful and friendly. My TV was not working and they came to replace it very quickly.

Value for money. I travel a lot and so am very particular about cleanliness, good ambience and things working. The rooms were clean and smells new. bed sheets nice and clean, bath towels smell good, hot shower available and right temperature. Air con fresh, cool and no musky smell.

This is a great place and decent location and great to be away from the crowds it’s just a bit of a walk to get into the old town area which is where the best food and drink Places are. But it’s an easy enough walk and easy To get taxis. Staff are friendly and facilities Are all good, clean and convenient .

Hotel room is clean and spacious. Building is new and close to restaurants and new world food court. New world food court most stall closed around 9pm and is mainly for daytime traffic. There are other restaurant in areas for late night dinning. Overall a good stay for this hotel.

Booked family room that fits 5 people. 2 x queen beds and 1 x single bed. It’s good value for family and meet basic needs. Lots of eatery surrounding. But the room has ants and the air conditioning perhap is not very clean as i sneeze a lot in the room but not outside, so that’s the reason i give 3-4 star review. However the hotel does meet basic need for rest and recharge.

The hotel room is clean and spacious. Hot water for shower and air-conditioner are working fine. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a food centre nearby with many choices. Also, a couple of restaurants are available within working distance. Grab is the convenient choice to move around if one is not driving.

The location is okay but around the property was a little “inconvenient” in that the sidewalks have large uncovered drain gaps, not the fault of the hotel but it’s a bit dangerous and can be found around some parts of the city. The staff was pleasant and tries to be helpful. The room was spacious.

Roomy and clean in quiet area . Big food court and other eatery nearby too with lot of choices. We did not drive so lack of parking is no issue.A bit of walking to main touristy streets, but the accomodations over there are older and more worn out. The front desk was couteous, but we encouter challenges duriing check out. The bill was not properly itemized, confusing to understand. Manager intervention to explain. All was resolved.

Value for money given the room price. It's a spacious room for 2 pax, and room condition is very good. Location wise it's near quite a few eateries by walking distance, and just opposite the New World Park food court, so considered decent. The bakery next door sells good bread, and a container coffee shop opposite has good coffee. The security is decent too because only hotel guests can enter hotel with room card after nightfall. The only complaint is the bed can be a bit too hard for some, and after a night sleep it can cause mild back pain.

The hotel is only a few years old and well maintained.

The premier king room I stayed in has good (easily adjustable) aircon, strong and powerful hot water, a spacious and clean bathroom and friendly and attentive staff.

Beds are comfortable and the mini fridge is good to have. Shampoo and shower wash are wall mounted and means no environmental waste.

Bottled water is supplied and there is also a hot water jug and tea and coffee.

There is also a filtered water machine in the foyer for topping up reusable water bottles - environmental plus.

Power turns off when you take out the room key and leave the room so once again an environmental plus.

Good roomy safe for storing electronics and travel documents etc.

Room servicing is available if you want it by simply hanging out the appropriate door tag.

The front desk were happy to arrange a taxi for my airport transfer.

Nearby is a fantastic open air but covered food court with local and international offerings.

Didn’t have a car but it’s level walk to Komtar and Penang Road shops and restaurants. It’s a 5 minute walk to Stop 11 of the free CAT bus service stop in Jalan Transfer which can be used for discovering the heritage areas of Georgetown.

TV could do with some extra channels but I wasn’t there to watch TV.

Definitely recommend and will stay there again.

I had a very nice stay here. Friendly staff, comfy bed, strong AC, fantastic shower and mostly quiet, except for a faint drone of dance music at night from a local bar, which I was able to tune out. I stayed 10 days. Tons of restaurants, street food, coffee shops and 7-11 within 2 blocks walk. Full grocery store 3 blocks away. Only a 10-minute walk to 3 shopping malls. Get out and explore the neighborhood and you will be blown away by all of the various dining options! It was nice to be in Georgetown, without being in the congested downtown. I will stay here again.

Stay at this hotel several times and it is pretty decent in overall. However, the noise insulation is still the same old problem especially in the morning when people moving out and the staff start cleaning each room. The doors are banging and its too noisy for me and my companion to sleep till late morning. We have to suffer few hours of disturbance till they finish cleaning up the whole floor which is so annoying.
