Quick check in process. Our room was very clean, comfortable pillows, good sized bathroom and the view was quite nice. Although I didn’t use the pool, I found the area very relaxing if you want to just hang out and relax at night or early in the morning. Location is within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. In addition, lobby was well decorated. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Pics looked good but hotel a bit shabby. No conditioner or body lotion provided. Hotel says it’s due to eco friendliness but come on, be honest and say it’s due to cost. There are other ways to be eco friendly. Soap dispensers felt like they were about to break. Shampoo of low quality and dried out hair like plastic. Bedding had some hairs. Would not stay again. Nice view tho.

The swimming pool was good, especially after a day of walking. The rooms were clean, modern, and bright. The only downside is the shower, it needs a good layer of bleach to clean the mould in the tiles, this would really spruce up the bathroom, and give it a nice hotel feel. Staff at the restaurant were all very nice, the ground floor staff needs more local insight of things to do when asked.

I had a wonderful stay at OZO Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view and excellent room service. The facilities were impressive — there’s a rooftop swimming pool (which I unfortunately couldn’t use due to the weather) and a rooftop gym that I managed to visit a couple of times. The gym isn’t very big but has everything you need, and the equipment is fairly new and well-maintained.

The hotel is within walking distance of markets and restaurants, which is super convenient. It can get a bit hot walking around, but taxis are easily available, and you can reach most places within minutes.

The service here is amazing — the staff are friendly and attentive, and the housekeeping team does a great job cleaning the room daily and providing fresh towels.

The only downside is that the reception is located on the 20th floor, so you need to go up there to check out, and the lifts can be quite busy and slow at times. I did not have food here, I put the stars there by mistake

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

Fantastic hotel, we couldn’t believe how new and clean the rooms were. We were supplied with fresh water every day, staff were quick to assist with our needs, even calling us Grab cabs when needed. The hotel was in walking distance to all attractions and to one of the biggest hawker markets for food. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

The room was good, but they charge for replacing items like bottles of water, etc., which the other hotels on this trip did not do.

Our room was not made up until approx. 5pm every day which was a little awkward.

The breakfast was not wonderful and I can fry an egg better than the chef seemed able to do.

The pool area was nice and there were decent views from the pool area which was at the top of the building.

Great property - loved the pool, location, included breakfast and the room was exceptional. Super comfortable big bed, big TV, very clean. There's a 7/11 across the road which is really convenient and it's only a short walk to Love Lane for great dining options.
The only reason I dropped 1 star is because I could hear super loud music in my room on the Friday and Saturday night from a nearby venue. I don't mind a bit of noise - I live on a main road - but this was crazy. My room was on the ocean side of the hotel and I really struggled to sleep because of it. My friends were on the other side of the hotel and had no issues. Otherwise it's a great property and I highly recommend staying here.

Not a classic hotel experience in that the lobby is on the 20th floor and so the only time you see staff in is check in and out. Good size room but really the highlights are the swimming pool and the food options available in the nearby streeets and markets. 3 night stay was very enjoyable and a great first experience in Asia for our 14 and 17yo.

Good location and service from the team. However, even though the hotel is only a few years old you can see that it is not well maintained. Reception on 20 floor, when I was there 1 of the 3 lifts was not working. Hence sometime at the busy time you may need to wait a while for a lift. I was there before check in time, left luggage was on ground floor so wasted quite a lot of time for lift to and from the 20 floor, queued for a while at reception then been told to take luggage back to ground floor.

Property was good, reasonably clean. Shower head in my room was broken which made for an interesting experience. Location is fantastic, very centreal and safe. Staff were a bit hit and miss. Inital encounter with staff was not very friendly, rudely instructed tha5 reception is on level 20, signage at entry not very clear. Often staff would push infront of you to enter the lift first, perhaps some etiquette in customer servicewould be beneficial.

Spacious rooms with great city views, every corner of the room was so clean and well presented. The sky pool has sick views. it’s really good value for money and couldn’t really fault anything here.

While this is a relatively new property, the cleaning is not good. Rubbish was left in room by previous guests. We were 9 days and the carpet had same mess/dirt on it every day. The daily used products were not replenished in the coffee tea bar. The swimming pool ran out of towels early afternoon each day we went. Desk staff and some restaurant staff were great. Others in the restaurant never smiled or returned greetings, not very welcoming.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed

Don’t be fooled by the high rates. Just terrible, filthy, unhygienic. Gosh staying here was a nightmare. Place is so dirty. Housekeeping didn’t clean my room, and the fingerprints on every mirror and stains on the shower booth made me cringe. I wonder if they launder the linens. There were mysterious stains on the towels.
The staff couldn’t handle requests properly. She just argued with other employee over the phone when I was standing right there, and didn’t even bother to explain why she couldn’t process my requests. She kept on walking away form the front desk while raising her voice on the phone.
Just don’t stay here.

The location of the hotel is near to the local eateries and attractions. The place is quiet during at night and not too busy at day, hence giving you the peace of mind. Buffet breakfast is at level 21 which give you a great view of the sea and surrounding Georgetown. There could be some confusion in using the automated parking and the guard would be around to assist. One comment is for the management to consider go install a ramp at the lobby to facilitate wheelchair, stroller or heavy trolley luggage.

Check in after a late arriving flight was very poor.
I happened to walk with another hotel gues and staff assumed that we were together. This was not the case, they proceeded to chat and do other things whilst I wanted for around 15 minutes. They then realised when saw me standing there that I was not with the other guest and proceeded to check in.

The rest of the stay was okay. The shower drain cover came loose and it was beyond disgusting with black dirt and grime. It did not drain the water properly as it was probably a bit blocked and not cleaned in ages.

The room itself was spacious, and very comfortable, and aside from the poor check in and dirty shower the rest of the stay was acceptable.

Check-in at level 20th, breakfast at level 21, swimming pool at level 22, excellent view. Breakfast is sufficient for a such hotel rate. Car parking is auto, handle by their security. For SUV, its limited slot but saloon car is ok. The hotel is quite new, rooms setup is modern, shower water pressure is strong, plenty of USB charge pot inside the room, big TV screen. Since I'm driving out most of the time, location is good. I drop something inside the car parking pick up carrier and the maintainence manage to retrieve for me.
Overall, excellent stay and I will come back again

This is a fairly modern hotel which is quite central in Georgetown. Most of the Georgetown sites are within walking distance and the free CAT bus stops nearby.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly helpful. We arrived early because our flight time had been changed so our room wasn’t ready but they let us leave our luggage there while we went to get something to eat. When we did check in we were given a nice room but unfortunately someone had been smoking in there (it is a nonsmoking hotel) and when we told reception they moved us straight away, no questions, no problems.
Bed was really comfy, shower was excellent and breakaway good. I would have no problems staying here again if I needed a hotel in that area and would happily recommend it to others.

Place is clean and bright looking, breakfast is good as well. But reception staff needs to be more well trained in English because we cannot communicate in Malay and they have problems communicating with us in English. Hope that the hotel can be better in recommending food around the hotel as well.

Aircon in room is not so strong, midnight the aircon will off for awhile and restart itself, central unit cannot adjust. Breakfast view on 21st floor is good.

Overall good stay value for money, will consider staying here again if coming back to Penang.
