It is located in the centre of the city, lots of restaurant and dessert place around the area.extremly convenient traveling by foot.unfortunately, we found stains on our bed sheet and the washroom has a foul bowel smell. some hairs and dust were evident to the eye across the room but very spacious. no hand soap was provided so we purchased our own.

Good location, staff helpful if not always knowledgeable but room was not very clean. On arriving, the bathroom was filthy & shower wasnt draining. It did get dealt with after complaining. However given our room was \"made up\" every day, glasses & mugs were never cleaned which made reusing impossible so although free water from dispenser available no clean glasses available to use. Floor also felt dirty, lots of stains on windows. Could be improved. One of kety attractions was the pool but it wasnt heated so werent able to get much use.

The hotel has huge selection of eateries nearby and it is a food haven. The only downside is soap and facial tissues are not provided during the hotel stay. Nonetheless, the staff are friendly and kind to render assistance.

Simple pleasant hotel stay

Hotel was kind to allow me to check in earlier when I enquired several days before my arrival. Room was clean. Great to have water dispenser to save on plastic bottles.

Only have 2 minor things to improve:
1) Both pillows too soft, so will be good to have 1 hard and 1 soft pillows
2) Can have 2 bath towels, instead of 1, even though I am staying in single room

Well the picture is pretty

Parking is extremely limited, at one point we had to park at the hotel across the road. The Satellite TV, consists of 4 free to air channels plus Tamil Channel and the only English channel was the Sports channel, walls are very thin, you can hear everyone's movements all night long, room smaller than expected, but hot water OK.

I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for my Msian bro n sis n myself. But i was forced to pay daily foreigner rooms tax for all 3 rooms n all nights. This hotel reception staff was rediculous to insist on the charges. Expedia hotel booking system was also stupid. One has to made several booking repetely just because diff rooms r of diff length of stay.

House keeping didn’t clean up room since I left for shopping from 12pm to 11.30pm despite I placed the notification for them to make up room and I have physically informed Front Office Staff to make up my room before I left for shopping but was Surprised to see no action has taken after I came back at 11.30pm, The hotel can only supply us with 2 New Towels at late night as the House keeping staff was not available at late night, Upon requested for an Explanation the next day upon Checking out and was Surprised the reason they gave was I have placed the noticed of “Do Not Disturb” instead of Requesting for “Make Up Room”, what a Lame Excuses they gave, on top of it, found Very Strong Cologne smell of their bedsheets.

We checked-in into 2 rooms at Level 7, and the rooms were terrible.
There are dust EVERYWHERE. It's not the usual home dust, it was those tiny wood particulars.

There was even paint marks on the toilet tiles and walls. Toilet bowl was stained too and we have to flush several times top get rid of it.

We feel that the front desk staff should tell us if there is no connecting rooms available, instead of allocating these 2 rooms which were clearly not ready for guest stay.

We requested to change room which the front desk staff mentioned there will only be rooms available the next day 10am.

We changed our itinerary the next day, as we needed more time to do the room change. But at 10am when we approached the front desk, they told us there is no room available!

So we have to explain what happened the previous night, and waited for another 15mins before we finally got our room changed.

We had 2 rooms at Level 6 & Level 8 each. The room at Level 6 was fine, but the room at Level 8 was not any better.

We believed renovation is still ongoing at Level 7 and 8, and that the hotel opened the rooms to us when there is not enough rooms. Also, there was no aircon at the common area of Level 7 & 8 too.

I was recovering from sensitive nose before i checked-in, but the dust aggravated my condition. My sis who was completely fine fell sick at the end of the stay too.

Service from the staff was good, but the facilities are really horrendous. Will never go back to Travelodge.

While it's location is a plus point especially for foodies, as well as the very attentive & friendly staff, improvements very much needed in maintence & housekeeping.
Disappointing that a hotel with 3-star rating, provided bedsheet & pillow cases, towels & bathmats that had stains or frayed edges. Even the brims of the 2 mugs were coated with dust when i first checked into the room. Had to wipe off dust from table tops etc too.
Although most guests will be out in the day, we would like to return to a clean, dust-free & cosy room. Nevertheless, i noticed that everyone is making an effort. So, do continue to strive for excellence in service!

It was annoying that during my stay, there was construction going on through the night till the early hours in the morning... and when we complained to the hotel staff, the reply given was not professional and unsatisfactory. We had to deal with the workers personally then they stopped the construction work. Disappointing service.

Cheap stay with good location.

Hotel with a good location and multiple food choice in vicinity. There’s also well-known shop a stone throw away for souvenirs.
Bathroom water pressure was awesome but the air condition was so warm despite turning it to the lowest temperature. Room light is not well-lit and it seems to be a bit dim at night.

Room was clean and neat. However, WiFi was extremely slow. Only on checking in were we informed of an electricity cut (excluding lights) from 0100hrs to 0300hrs. In reality, all electricity was cut and I was left in total darkness for at least 30 minutes. No service recovery was made by hotel staff.

Generally a good modern hotel. Nice room, modern simple furnitures, very clean, good bed.
Negative side, the breakfast is pointless because most of the trays are always empty and when they refill them they do it in small quantities ending after 1 minute. The wi-fi is very slow, I don't recommend it if you have to work. Last thing, I stayed for 5 days and they never changed the towels... On the last day, after the cleaning, I complained and they did change them.

Hotel changed to a travelodge on 1st Jan so work going on while I was there. Very comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom good shower. Grouting needed touched up. Staff were nice and helpful if you directly contacted them at reception but every time I passed to lift my pleasantries were ignored.

Were there at around 2.20pm. Told that hotel only allow for check-in at 3pm. Roam around and back at 4.15pm and waited for a while before getting the room. Check into the Quad room on the 7th Floor. The toilet was dirty. The next day, spoke to the housekeeping. Seems that she did not understand me and when back from outside, saw a \"do not disturb\" sign on the door knob outside and the room was not cleaned.

Worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. Word of warning, the pool is not properly equipped with non slip floors and both my friend and I fell quite badly just walking along. First thing I was told by staff was \"did I read the conditions? Because it's slippery when wet.\" and \"you use it at your own risk\". It's a pool, of course it's going to be wet.

Secondly my bed had dried blood stains, which I complained about and staff brought me new sheets and said \"just put it on top, the cleaners will sort it out in the morning\". He also seemed quite perplexed when I then asked them to change the sheets for me.

Finally small thing, towels all look like they had been through quite a bit of wear and had holes in them.

My husband placed the card on the bed to request for the change of bedsheet but it was not change (we knew it was not change because upon checking into our room, our bedsheet has this red ink mark). Check-in was fast, you have to provide both a security deposit and the tourist tax. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean - although the bathroom does not have an enclosed shower room (just a glass partition separating the toilet and the sink). Hotel is also close to restaurants and convenience stores.

Will probably stay here again in the future since I got a good deal here in Expedia.

Clean hotel with spacious room. The hotel staff is very kind to give us connecting rooms for our 2 rooms booked. Only negative part was that one of the room was very warm. Luckily the other room was much cooler so we opened the connecting door for the cool air from that room to help cool the other room a little.

Hotel is a little distance to Komtar, but walkable. There are food stalls just beside the hotel and convenient store just opposite. So really convenient

Stayed in this hotel around 2yr ago was impressed at that time. However was very disappointed that the standard has dropped tremendously. Room isn’t that clean with stains noted on the floor & desk. Breakfast was ok 2yr ago but now it’s horrible. Wouldn’t want to go back to the same hotel again. Management should review the system & standard.

Definitely value for money but not quite up to my personal hotel standard or expectation.

1. The toilet has stench of urine.
2. I can totally hear what is going on on my floor due to the lack of sound proof. Early morning, you can hear kids screaming in the pool, 2 floors away.
3. Bathroom towels are torn at the edges; the staff placed it at the racks everyday until the 4th day, he/she decided to place it on my bed instead of bringing it into the bathroom.

Overall was average . Good food location.Only one bad comment is from front desk service .I was check in room 514.The air con was totally not working at all! When ask for change room, the staff who wear spec was told me that fullybook.When I ask him double check again he told me the same. I told him that how could I stay the hot room for 2 nights , he told me that he only can change for me only tomorrow . I really don’t believe wat his say so I have tried to use app to book the same hotel with the same day , the result show still have rooom ! I was very angry on it as the staff was not been honest with me! So I told the guy if full how come I still can book it if I want. He told me that ohhhh the room is other Customer already book but still not check it yet , I was told him can not make Sense at all . If full how come the app allow me to book . After that, he go n ask his lady colleague. Both of their acting was so low, in the end , he told me he will help me change it cos I have so much real detail to show him!
The whole stay was good after change to level 4. I’m not expect the hotel staff provide me the super good service as I understand that wat u pay n wat u get . For wat I want to say is since you choose to do the service line, please put into the customer shoe , be honest ,be helpful and mind your body language when attend customer . I hope that management must look into on it on staff training especially on service n attitude part . Thank you .
