Now this is better. Everything is new. Bathroom are very clean, beds are firm and comfortable. The downside just the tv bit old, where the cursor is slow. But overall it’s a very nice stay and way better compared to the previous room I stayed.

The room is alright. The problem I had was the bathroom was super smelly. Seems the ventilation was bad. The bed is not firm anymore, and it’s very wigly which makes me cannot sleep properly. Overall is an alright, but just the bathroom and the bed that I stayed was not great at all.

The apartment itself is lovely - spacious, 3 good sized bedrooms, decently comfy beds, great view, not too far from the action…it could be 5 star…. if it were owned by a chain that cared about its guests and provided the sort of stuff you’d expect in even a budget motel. There’s a coffee machine… but no coffee (or sugar or milk) and no toaster (there were 3 sachets of instant tea… for our 5 person, 8 night stay). Bizarrely, there is no hand soap provided in the bathrooms (I asked for the above. Answer was no). The floors were super dusty and there was no way to clean them and the towels were grey and thin and smelled bad. We had to use them at the pool (no extra towels provided for the pool - I asked - they said the best they could do was swap them out the next day.. they didn’t). They did deliver a mop and broom and suggested I clean the floors myself. There’s a washing machine, so I decided to also wash the towels. Too late I realised: no dryer or clothes airer to hang wet laundry on. Also, just 2 small towel rails in the whole apartment… an apartment that’s meant to sleep 6 people! I contacted Stayla and asked if there was a clothes airer available… their answer was “no - just hang it in the living room” (instead of providing a $12 clothes airer, they’d rather have wet laundry on their fabric couches!)
Quick note: If you have small kids, beware: the window in the kids room opens enough for them to fall to their death. It’s also a noisy neighbourhood. Pack earplugs!

We stayed on the 26th floor and the view is great. Checking in/out was a breeze.

Only nuisance was some bar/club playing ultra loud music, you can hear/feel the bass even on such a high floor

This is actually more of an air bnb style accommodation so you need to collect a key from a mailbox, the host is very attentive and sent through very clear instructions on how to access. Had an issue with the air conditioning but was rectified very quickly with no waiting issues at all. Would recommend to stay here again

Stayed for 4 nights with my family. The room was extremely dusty when we checked in as I was sneezing non stop until we opened the windows and turned on the fan. The windows were not able to stay opened hence we use our stuff to keep the windows opened. One of the beds was extremely soft making the sleep difficult and unpleasant. The pillows were too soft that we had to fold the pillow into half to sleep. The bathroom ceiling was leaking probably due to a leaking pipes from above. What is good is the staff was responsive and the information on the checking in and out were very made readily.

Security grill before wooden door will be great as someone rattled our door handle one afternoon. I could not see as there was no peep hole in the door.

There was a washing machine but no clothes drying rack to hang after wash clothes

I was able to go up and down lift without the need to swipe card after my first day. This is a call for concern especially after someone rattled my apartment door.

Centrally located to street food & 10 mins by car to some attractions.
Quick, friendly responsive security & booking provider
Rain shower, cold aircon, firm bed
Microwave, Cold & good size fridge, washing machine, detergents, cookery & cutlery, water filter, kettle & electric stove

Dust on top of cook exhaust
Loose floorings in one room

Shower curtain so as won’t have water splashing out

The bed felt like a block of wood which Tropicana subsequently advised was coconut fibre and 'good for our spine'. The fact that the bed was coconut fibre and extremely hard was not disclosed on the ad for the place or in subsequent messages from Tropicana as they claimed that there is no space on the platform to note this. They then refused to cancel and refund the booking or arrange any exchange unless we first made and paid for another booking with them. .

Comfortable Stay with minor inconveniences

Spacious, sufficient beds for family of 5, good view - can see sunrise, good location, furniture well maintained, apartment is clean.
Bed quite hard to sleep on, lift takes very long especially during peak hours, have to spiral up the carpark (giddy), door only has number lock, no internal door latch for added security.

The location is a major plus for this location. Facility is decent. Views at higher floors are nice. Property management staffs are friendly and responsive. They tried their best to make sure my stay is great. Tried to check for me higher floors, but wasn't possible to do so as I requested for 3 person. There is an initial deposit that I had to do it via remittances from my bank. However, they also refunded back promptly within the same day, after I have checked out . Toilets are clean. Beds are decent.

The drawbacks are probably that it was more like an Airbnb - explaining the property management. Also, within the room, the amenities are very basic (you have a small fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, shampoo, and dishwashing liquid). So one cannot expect daily housekeeping. Also, as it is a common property shared by other residents, it can be quite noisy at night (as guests of other rooms can change frequently ). The initial steps to get to your property can be a little confusing. It would also be great to have better pillows (or more pillows)

Overall decent stay.

Very handy location. However, internet did not work so had to piggy back on next door as password was the same. Air con in main living room area was broken so had to make do with a ceiling fan. Would also like to have seen better kitchen supplies. Not a massive issue as only there for 3 nights but kitchen not really suited for longer stays. Had to go and buy glasses! But, great location for walking to heritage centre, and checkin was pretty smooth.

roller coaster car park with snail passenger lift

Location was great but the parking spot & ramp was totally disaster. Sharp corner while driving up to 13 floor parking space make you dizzy like roller coaster. The passenger lift also a pain, you required to wait minimum 15 min for the lift each time get up or down. You don't feel going out after spin all the way up to car park. The floor near entrance and kitchen was sticky. Certain wall with splash mark. Stove with stain mark. Sofa head rest broken.

The location is pretty good. Convenient to grab anywhere. The nearest mini Mart is about a 5 min walk away and new lane night hawker is 15. But the apartment itself is not very comfortable. Three mattress gave me and my husband backpain.

Keep expectations low.

Thot Expedia deals only with hotels. So after booking I was disappointed that it was AbnB. Dangerous for a single lady as need to go to the mail box to collect the keys after parking. Then need to drive 10 flrs up to park in a quiet no body around carpark. So scary.. ran to the lift and have to struggle to open the gate at a quiet flr. At night come back is even scarier. For the price they are charging , The room don’t even have a cupboard to hang clothings. Only a portable sunning clothes hanger was there. Can’t hang long clothings. No toiletries but only a couple of big bottles of shampoo and conditioner. No body lotion , face or hand towels etc. only a floor cloth and two bath towels. First day no tv reception. Only after repair on second day u can receive but limited local channels. No mirror at the bedroom and no bedside tables. No breakfast provided too. Not a nice full seaview as it is blocked by many buildings. I was on the 17th flr. So cannot charge as seaview.

We initislly booked a 2 bedded apartment but upon check in found that the apartment had not been cleaned after the last guest had checked out. The bed was not made, floor not cleaned despite us checking in at 5 pm.
Worst still in the evening at around 9 pm we saw a rat in the room and hall which was unacceptable. I sincerely hope expedia can look into this.

We complained and fortunately was changed to another 3 bedded apartment which was basic but comfortable. At least it is clean this time.
The person in charge said he will refund the first night to us but we had yet to hear from him after that.
This is the first time i had stayed in a hotel or apartment that had a rat in it. Mind you I am a frequent flyer.

Overall the entire experience was OK, had some trouble contacting the establishment, since apparently I gave them my \"wrong name\" that was registered despite also providing them the apartment unit image + booking ref... that gave an overall bad start to the entire experience. Location of the apartment was pretty central, in the middle. Swimming pool + gym was also very decent. Apartment itself not too bad, but there were ants everywhere, so you literally cannot bring food back or have anything exposed.

Ligger godt man kan gå til Old town og pæne rene værelser, de svarede hurtigt på Whats app og hjalp med at checke ind selvom vi havde glemt at skrive 48 timer inden.
Eneste minus var al den larm udenfor om aftenen, lød som om der var et “diskotek” lige ved siden af.

住宿地方便寧靜同有優美的夜境又泳池,需然沒有counter staff,但是可以用whatapps溝通,都可以即時聯絡。statf 有礼同helpful,由上午9點至零12點都找到他。最不滿意是要比MYR200 for deposit,又要等他轉番數到我香港户口,我比MYR佢比番港幣我,一來一回我便收少了因為個滙率有差别.

Het appartement was schoon en zag er van binnen gezellig uit! De bedden lagen heerlijk. Er was een wasmachine aanwezig en je had gepurifieerd water. Het zwembad was fijn. In 1 van de twee badkamers was de douche niet in optimale staat, anders hadden ze 5 sterren gekregen. Echt een aanrader.
