It was my first time traveling solo to Spain, and my stay was very comfortable. The room I reserved came with a private bathroom, which I loved because I enjoy my privacy. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were always provided.

The property is located right in the middle of the Old Town, close to everything happening in the area. Since it’s an old building, there was some humidity and a musty smell at night, but that’s typical for historic houses. I actually appreciated the charm and authenticity of the design—it truly felt like a traditional Andalusian property.

I was even able to check in earlier, which I greatly appreciated after traveling all night without my luggage and feeling extremely tired. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, the bus station, and the beach.

I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I never stayed with this hotel as I had a family emergency and they would not help me out and I did not cancel as they told me there would be no refund. So I did not cancel as I did not want them to double dip. I will not stay there when I continue my trip.

Good and bad points - Pension Aduar, Marbella

We have mixed feelings regarding our stay at Pension Aduar. We had a 1 hour delay before our rooms were ready. When we walked into the room you could smell cigarette smoke and as a result our clothes, over a period of time, smelt of smoke. We used air freshners etc to get rid of the smell. We recognise that it is difficult for the hostal to stop people smoking in the room. There are plenty of no smoking signs around the hostal. Even when we were leaving, the people in the adjoining room (door open) were smoking in the room. On the plus side the beds were comfortable, the A/C was good and the shower was strong and hot.
The reception staff also need to put a smile on their face

Very well managed property in the old town which we thought is the nicest area of Marbella. Full of lovely little shops, & places to eat, & a beautifully church. We enjoyed using the communal patio area with a microwave & kettle since it was quite chilly there in December so being able to warm up a snack & have your own hot tea was nice! Our room had everything we needed, & all areas were kept really clean which we like 😁 overall very good value for money & would recommend. Thank you 💕

Horrible experience immerse in cigarette

The room was ok in terms of one bed and one bathroom, but it smelled of cigarettes all over, I ask to be changed to an other room and they didn’t change me, instead they gave me a substance to soray all over, but the smell was unbearable…. Also there was other Italian guest who were talking and screaming and laughing outside my bedroom at 2/3 am every night, and the hotel staff did not do anything about this situation…

Eu realmente não gostei, o atendimento é sofrível, creio que não gostam de hospedes, quarto apertado sem luz e sem tomadas, banheiro com odor... a unica coisa boa foi a localização, isso sim é muito boa.

Unbeatable value for this place, right in the middle of the historic part of Marbella. The rooms are tiny, and most of them don't have en suite bathrooms, but at this price who cares? There are dozens of good dining and drinking options within walking distance, along with a lot of shopping. The pension itself is very attractive, well-maintained, and leafy with multiple terrasses for sitting and having a coffee among flowers. They welcomed me while I was traveling with my cat. Altogether an excellent experience.

Clean, bed is comfy, well located and right in the old town. Has balcony but closed after 10pm. Toilet and shower are communal so going for a show in winter could be challenging. Something I don't understand is they would take your card details otherwise 50 euro in case you violate house rules. I have never come across taking card details or that much amount of money in any other hotel/hostel/BnB for this purpose, and I have travelled a lot, which makes this mandatory measure a bit unreasonable.

The reception team at Pension Aduar, is not all that friendly and not very helpful. I stayed 3 nights, and on my last night, I spent it in and out of the bathroom with food poisoning from a recommendation they made to a restaurant. When I went to ask for help (obviously not for free) with getting drinks and/or medicine or an extended time to check out, I was greeted with “No, we don’t offer those services.” However, they are fast to charge a full night if you stay past noon, with no exceptions. That would’ve been fine in any other given situation, but I was sick and felt weak and unwell and I was by myself. I’m very disappointed in the “services” here.

A bad experience and absolutely under level. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Wanted to cancel reservations after a few hours stay and offered to pay for one night without using the rooms at all. No refund and no understanding, but a very arrogant attitude from the staff/management, who were laughing when they said the money was lost. Aduar is a 'money-machine' who only lucrates on the central location in the old-town. We found a better hotel, as the meeting with Aduar was so disappointing!!!

The best part of this property is the location. It is within walking distance to all the major attractions and the beach. The staff is friendly but not very present. The rooms are clean but very small. However, I would stay there again due to the price and location.

The Hostel was very convenient to the harbor, beaches and the historic areas. The water in the room sink and shower was freezing cold. The owners offered to do my laundry, which I had appreciated until they charged me 20 euros ($26), which I thought was way out of line.

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone that wishes to have a easy and relaxing stay.

The male owner really does not care about anything, there are no lockers to store your bags so no where to put your valuables. I am sure they have had awful guests in the past but they should not view every guest as the same.

The room was clean but apart from that I can not see any other benefits of staying here.

The Hotel is Very Nice, rooms and shared bathroom clean, my room was a big cold although it is early september, and the sheets given were thin, maybe request one In advance. The wifi sucks, maybe it was just in the room I was allocated in, but not even streaming a simple video on Facebook on my phone will work. The staff is not very friendly, should improve their mood.

まず素晴らしいのはロケーション！！

オールドタウンのど真ん中にあり、10歩歩けばレストランやバーがたくさん立ち並ぶところに位置しています。

ホテル自体はゲストハウスです。掃除の方がくまなくいつも綺麗に掃除をしているのでとても快適に過ごせました。また、トイレとシャワーは各階に共同利用のものがありますが、いつも綺麗でした、また、一度も私が使いたい時に誰かが使用してるということがなかったので待つことなどもありませんでした。

部屋には洗面台があるのでトイレとシャワー以外、歯ブラシなどは部屋で済ませられます。

シャワー室には備え付けのドライヤーもありタオルフックなど必要なものはそろっています

海にも簡単に歩いていけます(10分くらいです)

ホテルの裏には市場があり　いつも新鮮な果物などが買えます。

チェックアウトは正午なので
ゆっくりできます、私はその日の夜の便で他の国に行く予定だったのでスーツケースを預かってもらい、取りに行き(なんせ場所がいいのでカバンを持ち歩く必要がない) 帰りました。

バス停も歩いて4分　ボヌスにも数種類ののバスで一本で簡単にいけます。

キッチン用具、冷蔵庫や電子レンジ、ケトルもあるので簡単な料理をして朝ごはんなどを済ませられます！


次もマルベーリャにきたらここに泊まります。

Die Unterkunft ist inmitten der Altstadt die Zimmer sind sauber, die Matratzen gut und die geteilten Bäder in Ordnung. Irgendwann muss diese Unterkunft sehr negative Erfahrungen mit ihren Gästen gemacht haben, denn bereits vor der Anreise bekommt man Emails über die Verhaltensregeln in der Unterkunft. Wenn man nach 00.00 Uhr anreist = 10,00 €, wenn man raucht = 50.00 €, wenn man am Abreisetag nach 12.00 Uhr anreist = Berechnen eines vollen Tages usw. Dann kommt man dort an und muss 50.00 € Pfand hinterlegen, falls man den Schlüssel verliert etc. Um 23.00 Uhr wird der öffentliche Terrassenbereich mit einer Kette verschlossen und ist somit nicht mehr zugänglich.
Ganz ehrlich, hier wird maßlos übertrieben und dem Gast wird mit dem Wust der unzähligen Regularien die Lust am Aufenthalt genommen, da nützt auch die gute Lage nicht viel.

Bonne pension pour des vacances à petits prix

Les proprietaires sont toujours disponibles pour vous rendre service. La pension est mignonne et tres propre. Elle est tres bien situee au debut de la vieille ville et à 6- 10mn environ à pied de la plage. Tous commerces à proximité, ainsi que les bus.
Petit bemol : l air ne circule pas donc les affaires ne sechent pas dans la chambre. Tout reste humide. Chambre petite mais bien si on n y est que pour dormir !

Très recommandé, mais chutt, ne le répétez pas !

Hôtel très bien situé dans la vieille ville avec ses rues étroites, ombragées, fleuries et sans voiture qui, héritage historique oblige, ressemble aux médinas du Maroc dont on aperçoit les côtes depuis la promenade littorale qui longe les plages de Marbella.

Mais situé à l’entrée sud-est de la vieille ville, on peut aisément garer sa voiture à quelques dizaines de mètres (parking payant sous le marché municipal) ou dans les rues voisines : payant (1,50€ pour 2h) ou non, un peu plus loin. Quant aux plages et aux nombreux bars et restaurants qui bordent le front de mer et les rues adjacentes, ils sont accessibles en 5-10 mn à pied.

Par contraste, la Pensión Aduar est un havre de tranquillité avec son patio andalou et ses chambres distribuées autour et sur deux niveaux bordés de balcons et de magnifiques bougainvilliers fleuris. Elles sont simples et très propres et, aménagées dans des corps d’anciens bâtiments rénovés, elles conservent la fraîcheur en été, même si elles sont toutes climatisées, si besoin.
Sauf exception, les WC et salles de bain sont communes et sont d’une propreté irréprochable.
La famille qui tient cet hôtel est toujours disponible et à l’écoute. Ainsi, depuis près de 10 ans que j’y séjourne, en toutes saisons, la Pensión Aduar reste à un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Pensión en pleno casco histórico de Marbella!
La relación calidad costo es buena, fue atento a la llegada. La habitación comoda aunque se puede hacer un poquito más en la limpieza sobre todo mucho polvo cortinas y piso. Una buena opción para pasar un par de noches.

La situation de cette pension (bien) tenue par une famille russe est exceptionnelle : au cœur de la vieille ville et en même temps à moins de 10mn à pied du front de mer (promenade bordée de bars et restaurants, plage).
Les chambres sont simples et propres, toutes avec au moins un lavabo, certaines avec salle de bain, toutes avec un accès facile à un WC-salle de bain situé à chaque niveau (rez de chaussée et 2 étages). Elles sont distribuées autour d’un patio et le long de 2 balcons très aérés et fleuris. Un réfrigérateur sur le patio est à disposition de tous. L’entretien des parties communes est assurées très régulièrement et autant que de besoin pendant toute la journée. Les propriétaires sont très à l’écoute et assurent un accueil même tardif s’ils en sont informés. La gare routière est située à 20mn à pied sur la partie haute de la ville et des bus assurent des liaisons fréquentes avec l’aéroport et la gare de Málaga.

Jag bodde här när jag kom till marbella första gången 2014 och nu 2020 så frågade jag om de hade kvar sin katt Cookie, and they did. De kände igen mig, de gjorde även katten.
Detta hostel är inget speciellt, men de har allt, allt fungerar och det har her toppen läge för mat, shopping och bussar.
